Tareq Saleh: This is the worst club you can ever trust to deal with. Unorganized, unprofessional, and rip off. I signed my kid on Dec 2019 for the winter 2020 programs and paid the entire fee upfront (big mistake). Well, because the pandemic we only played a few weeks and stopped for the rest of the season. When I asked to refund my balance, they refused. Talking to some the staff at the time, it seemed like they were selective on who they refunded. I imagine they took good advantage of the government pandemic funds, but they refused to be fair to others. It was always a struggle to communicate and deal with these people.

Mike Vanbuskirk: Our experience with the club was significantly worse than the previous year. Disorganized, last-minute coaching changes etc...Coaches will be assigned multiple teams regardless of their experience, with some teams well in excess of the ideal roster size as recommended by US Youth Soccer(our team had 19 players). You can imagine the impact that has on player development and overall play time.It's frustrating and difficult as a fan and parent to watch teams from smaller cities, with less resources and a smaller player pool, consistently outplay your team. This is especially glaring in light of the fact that Midwest has some of the highest fees in the region.Our concerns were "appreciated", but effectively dismissed, and the club has refused to issue a partial refund(I do not expect to be refunded in full as that would not be fair to the coach or the organization).I'm especially frustrated as the previous year with the club was a much more positive experience, so I know what they are capable of. My son, while relatively new to the game, showed impressive development and enthusiasm for the game.That has totally evaporated this season.I'll consider the money as a sunk cost at this point and lesson learned, and will leave this review as a signpost for others to consider, with the caveat that YMMV.

Mike Allmon: Very good club but obviously needs organizing games schedule improvement with the younger age groups. Excellent knowledgeable coaching staff. Looking forward to another year under midwest united.

Do you guys have captains for games and practice?

Katie Bremer: We love soccer buddies. My son is in the 3-4 year olds class and those coaches deserve all of the awards. Activities are engaging and age-appropriate. While kids are not playing actual soccer games, they are practicing kicking and dribbling the ball.Kids learn how to follow directions and stay with the group. It's also a great way to develop gross motor skills. If you are looking for your child to have fun and be active, Soccer Buddies is for you.

Meredith Hamlin: My daughter and I had a really bad experience with this program. It was supposed to be a group of 3-5 year olds learning and playing soccer together. Instead it was my 4 year old daughter and 2 kids under 2 who cried for most of the class and the teacher/coach blew bubbles and played with toys. I tried to get her in another class but there were none available and I tried to call and email and share my experience and no one called me back. I do not recommend for anyone looking to help their child get started with soccer. It’s a daycare program.

Veronica Hindman: PARKING IS ATROCIOUS. Signs posted inside say you will be ticketed if you are not in an actual parking space and park on the curb. But not nearly enough parking spots available for the amount of games they schedule. A battle every time we are there. Unfortunate, because the facility itself is very nice.

Landan Chomic: Playing at the sports spot location for men’s league is very poor. Better off spending your money at msa woodland or soccer zone. The rules are outrageous and ever changing. For an example, I showed up to sub for a team and got yelled at by one of the employees because I didn’t have turf shoes on. YELLED at me because I didn’t know they changed the rules in the last 3 months????? It’s a men’s Rec league…chill out. He would not explain why we couldn’t wear cleats anymore, told us to leave, then stormed off to put volleyball nets up? The turf is sub par, everyone has to wear shin guards, and there is no sliding.

C. Larmore: The engineering and design at this place are awful and should be immediately reinvested in. There is about 50% enough parking so half the crowd ends up parking at any neighboring business or grass spot they find. Inside has a total lack of storage, seating, places to prep to take field. They should develop the parking lot in next door field immediately.

Mary Brown: This is a lovely facility, very clean! Staff we encountered were friendly and professional throughout my son's seasons of futsal and indoor soccer. They have 4 futsal courts, 2 indoor soccer, a basketball/warmup area, and another small indoor soccer space, along with a small sports/athletics shop, as well as concessions with a large menu, though higher prices. They have nice scoreboards, though the seating is a bit awkward for spectators on some fields/courts. Parking was difficult when they were hosting special tournament events for volleyball and fencing, etc., so leave extra time to drive around and look for a spot, just in case.
