JD Smerckx: This is coming from a player it is a horrible place to be I got kicked off my team for my little brother and sister playing for a different AKA sluggers, the club owner is not a nice person and have to pay a lot of money to just go hit or pitch there and the training isn’t that good and you also have very little practices I suggest looking for a different team besides diamonds

They allow kids to play who have maliciously hurt another player for no reason. Take your child elsewhere...not the level of integrity you want to be taught to your children...

Astra Keena: Sluggers Sports Academy is the best baseball organization in West Michigan. The Staff, Instructors and Coaches are phenomenal! This is more than a travel ball organization. This is a a baseball school. They teach young athletes more than just the fundamentals. They have awesome drills on YouTube and all their staff has amazing credentials and knowledge of not just the game, but the mental side of baseball as well! No matter who you take lessons from they are exceptional in teaching and sharing their knowledge with all baseball players. They prepare you to be the best that you can be on and off the field. They teach players to prepare for high school and college ball. Sluggers is by far the best organization to make good baseball players into GREAT baseball players! They work with all ages and instill hard work, dedication, strength, and confidence, but also have fun. We are truly blessed to have such a great organization in West Michigan! So check out their website for tryouts, clinics and lesson packages! Check out their drills on YouTube as well. They are 2-3 minute drills that will make your baseball player a better player! They also have Hit Trax and drop in leagues. Jody Knapp: Terrible experience. Waste of our time and money.

Ryan Stamm: You will get more out of little league. Save your money or shop around. All these guys really care about is getting your money. My son's team went 0-12 while being mercied regularly and no one from the front office could have cared less. Never once made an appearance to see for themselves. By the end of our season the parents were running practices. Sad.

Justin Tymes: Sluggers has a great crew of instructors and they are very accommodating as far as booking cage time. I usually bring my team in a couple times per season for extra practices. Some of my players have opted to take individual lessons through Sluggers and have been very pleased with the developmental help they receive.
