Legends Sports & Games: what do users think?
Eddie Heikkila: this is a memorabilia post but i brought in a die cast car of jeff gordon, the 4x indy 400 winner edition, wondering the value. all they did was get on google and look it up just like what i had done 2 hours earlier that day. Got offered $50 for it because they found a replica… only difference was the one i brought in was autographed with a certificate of authenticity. Almost ripped me off
Brad Winkler: Very knowledgeable staff. Has helped me determine my collecting path.
Aaron Brauer: Awesome staff. Great competitive Yugioh scene!
Chris Davis: Great place for sports memorabilia and gaming! Amazed at the amount of inventory they have with very unique items.
Paul Ellison: Always love coming here and checking out the selection of cards. They have a wide variety of cards at various price points for all levels of collectors.
Josue Cervantes: Love place good people
Ricky Lee: Awesome place for cards! The staff are all very friendly and helpful.Legends has been around the GR area for as long as I can remember. They seem to have a lot of cool baseball card stuff, but they also have yugioh, pokemon TCG, MTG, Weiss Schwarz, and a bunch of other stuff.Honestly just great place to check out for any card collectors.
Drew: Great cards as well as memorabilia! Very large selection of everything. Cards are also at good prices and very close to comps. Great shop.
TK JoM0J0616: Very dissatisfied and disappointed in the customer service. I’m a life long collector and avid believer in local businesses in Grand Rapids. When I reached out to Legends Sports Cards and gaming to discuss buying and selling some trading cards after Emailing and Calling the numbers THEY posted on THEIR website I was met with dismissive and rude behavior by whoever answers the Emails and the phones. I was directed to speak to someone else but when I attempted to reach back out to speak to that individual with the numbers I was given by the store again I was met with rude customer support. It’s unfortunate because the card collecting community is already being overrun with snobs and “better than yous” and I didn’t think our local card shop would ever reach that point.
Alexander Tunks: Best place to play cardfight vanguard great atmosphere and great people
Jason Cooper II: Good service
Elizabeth Pierce: Card shop and the owners are nice to kids
Josip Benko: great experience, love the selection
Matt Russell: There was card show going on inside when we went so we couldn't really look for what we wanted and didn't know who worked there
Michael Cardwell: Huge selection of sports cards, supplies and memrobilia. Seemingly a large selection of Pokémon as well. Monthly card shows and knowledgeable staff. I enjoy looking thru the .25 and $1 boxes. Never know what you'll find in there.
Alyx England: Staff on card side is great, very informative and helpful though the owner has some weird practices when it comes to what stays/goes game wise and seems to take even the most minor holidays off
Michael Still: Best place in west Michigan for sports cards and Memorabilia, hands down
Deborah Fawcett: Amazing items are autographed and available. Friendly staff.
Ghost kay Wilmoth: Very poor customer service. I decided to stop in here a few days ago not once did anyone greet me as I walked in or anything. While looking over my card collection the guy was really rude and acted as if he didn't care to be there. Definitely will not be stopping here again
Ray Schueller: I would like to thank John and Lou for their help in appraising my baseball card collection. I learned a lot about why some cards are worth more than others. I feel I got a very fair appraisal. I also would like to comment on the amount of amazing sports memorabilia in the store. Legends is a great place to visit for any sports nut.
Rocky Tebeau: Nice store for collecting cards and Jersey

All-Star Sports Cards & Gaming: what do users think?
Anna Kuebler: This establishment has one of the most kind, knowledgeable and helpful people. My grandpa just passed, and cleaning out his house we found a box full of baseball cards. Not only did Eric help me understand the worth of the cards, but he gave me the history of them. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend All Star Sports to anyone wanting to buy, sell or anyone who is looking for more information about cards.
Kyle Haney: Fantastic service and friendly staff that are happy to help you with any of their wonderful merchandise. Rather you're interested in MTG, Pokemon, Yugioh or collecting sports cards of all degrees, be confident that they're handled by professional staff who know what they're doing.
Boobear 420: Super sweet staff. Amazing selction. If your looking for a local place to play come in and check out the place
Kyrie Scholten: This is a fantastic establishment. The staff are so helpful and the owner personally thanked me for my business. Very good assortment of cards for all collectors. I have been searching everywhere for a few cards and after shopping at All-Star Sports I was able to complete a few sets. A special thank you to the owner Eric and manager Jason for your help!
Jack Pruyn: I recently went in to sell a bunch of my grandpa’s old baseball cards and I was helped by Eric who was so excited to buy them from me and show me around the store. Awesome store. So happy I went.
Ron Bush: Eric, Jason, and the All Star team are first class. You can count on fair prices, expert knowledge, and a good time any time you walk in!
Buckbob -a-licioous: I’ve been a customer at All Star Sports for quite some time. I’m a collector of sports cards and this is my go-to card shop. Eric and Jason have always been knowledgeable and insightful in assisting me with questions I have about the hobby. While they both give me great customer service, Eric has been an invaluable resource for me due to his presence and connections in the card hobby world. I highly recommend this shop for your hobby card needs, whether looking for products of if you have any questions related to the hobby.
Jacob Ward: This place is the best card shop to go to. Check it out. Shout out to Jason!
Justin Meyers: Not a good experience. Won't go there ever again
Logan Getz: I went in to sell some cards, not only did the OWNER come out of his way to see what I had he took a long, and patient, look at what I had. He gave me a very fair price and other ways and opportunities to get what I needed done.
Samuel Langosch: Single-handedly one of the best card shops I’ve had the privilege of both shopping and playing in! The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in both trading cards and sports cards, the shop is kept clean and organized, and the player base that attends the various events they host are worth the 5 stars themselves! If your looking for a place to play, I can’t recommend them highly enough!
Ed Whittaker: This is an amazing shop with great staff that is welcoming and friendly! You can see that the employee's put a lot of work into this place for their customers and it shows. It's also just a great place for magic, either for buying, as their prices are fair, or for just sitting down and playing a few games with the awesome community they've built here. Can't wait to be back next Friday!
Sammantha Jo: Called before driving out there and asked if they bought baseball cards. I was told they did and to come on in. When I got there my friend had a big box of cards and just a couple she wanted to ask them about, they didn't look at the first card, not a single one and told her to put the entire box on ebay for $30. Now I'd understand if they had bothered to look at even one of them...but they didnt.
Crunchy Mike: I have made multiple trades and sales here. Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgable. I go out of my way to visit here. Dont believe any negative reviews. If they dont treat you fairly, you're asking for too much.
Robert Johnson: I brought in a box of stuff for them to look at he didn't even look at any of the cards he just looked at the brand of a few and passed over everything I had saying that I should just go on Facebook Marketplace and sell it all for $20 as I left they wanted to know my name and my thinking is that they want to buy everything I had for way cheaper than they should have bought the stuff for. one card is selling on eBay for $5 and every card I had in my case is worth at least that. I sorted through everything I had and brought only the good stuff and he didn't give me the time of day. a baseball I brought in they say they never seen anything like that before when it was certified with a hologram sticker and made it clear that everybody in the store heard what they said to me I think they were more interested in getting back to the little board games they were playing then helping me I will never ever go here again for anything and I will make sure if anybody ever thinks about going there I will steer them away
Jacob Barkel: Stopped in today for the first time. I’ve been to many TCG stores across the state. Few have wowed me quite like All-Star Sports.Firstly, the staff are incredible. I was on a first name basis with Jason, Jordan, Tyler, and Eric (the owner) within about five minutes. They were very kind and welcoming, and Eric even offered to talk about his philosophy of owing a game store with me. He was very open about his priority of building a community over selling products. He doesn’t just value customers, he values people, and clearly loves making people smile. This is exemplified by his infectious and genuine laugh. Secondly, the store was the cleanest TCG store I’ve ever seen. If you’ve been around the block, you’re probably familiar with these kinds of places having a noxious odor. Not All-Star Sports. The place was pristine. It was clearly regularly cleaned and the building smelled like a nice hotel with a faint hint of card-stock, exactly how it should. As I said earlier, I’ve been to many TCG stores around Michigan. After today, my top three easily sits as;-All-Star Games-Griffin’s Rest-Lantern GamesOn the logistical side, they had a rather expansive and well organized selection of singles you could buy. On top of that, it was all priced very fairly! Singles appeared to all be at TCG low for cards over ten dollars, otherwise they were priced much better than their TCG low. They also sold snacks and drinks. As a heavy water drinker, I was quite stoked to find they had a large reserve of cold water at 50 cents a bottle (some other stores will charge you as much as $2 for a bottle of water!)I stopped in on a Monday night and there was a decent crowd of people, on a Monday! That’s a weekday people, not Friday Night Magic, not a prerelease. A Monday. Got in a pod for commander almost immediately. Can’t wait to see what Fridays are like. They even have a discord for their community to keep in touch (not the first, but this is certainly uncommon and theirs is definitely well moderated)This all ties back in to the fact that I believe Eric was genuine in his philosophy of his business model. I will absolutely be visiting and doing business here way more often. I definitely suggest stopping by here if you ever get the chance. It can make your week out of nowhere.
Jimmy VBerg: Great shop. Awesome variety of singles and wax and love digging through the value box. Jason and the rest of the staff are top notch and super helpful. They always treat my kids great and have been helpful for them to learn the hobby.
larry harris: I had to come here out of necessity because my local (10 minutes away) trading card shop wasn't participating in a promotion I was interested in, which meant driving an extra half hour one way. I'm glad I did. The guys here couldn't be more engaging and helpful, which is not always the case for this type of business, and the selection is good as well. Even given the distance, when the promotion is over I'll still be back.
Will Kelly: Nice variety of Pokémon singles! I enjoy coming here and working on completing card sets.
Carter Bednarz: My first time in there wasn’t the best but my last was great! I think the employee who helped me was Jacob, he was excellent. Definitely one of the best card knowledge workers I’ve ever met. I definitely recommend going there and asking for help from Jacob!!!!
David Ondersma: just started going to this store, and the selection is incredible, the owner gave me an amazing deal on a card ive been looking for for awhile. ive told all my friends about it as this is my new main store for trading cards.
