Manhattan Park: what do users think?
Jess: Review of trails only. Trails poorly maintained, hard to distinguish between man made trails and the official trails. It was all dirt/muddy and some very, very steep areas. I tried to go on the outermost trail but there were a bunch of fallen trees blocking the way and I wasn't too comfortable not knowing where it would lead to continue. I looped around a few times starting from the Cascade parking side and the Manhattan parking side.
Toby Thompson: Nice trails.
Owen Mazariegos: Nice park
Mike Zenk: Playground: Nice equipment
Laura: Nice place for soccer.

nickk05281982: Could use a portajon near volleyball courts. Cement under court and about 2 inches of sand it's getting dangerous
Rob Vermaire: Not a bad place to watch a game.

Lee Frisbie (Leeman): Watched a game in the rain got very wet and we had a tarp

Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park: what do users think?
me you: Such a beautiful place and plenty to keep you busy for hours .
Mark Dykstra: A very relaxing afternoon.
S Root: Wonderful place to walk and enjoy nature and art. Always see something new. The Japanese garden is especially nice.
C Smith: What a beautiful place to visit! I've been a couple times for concerts (awesome venue) but never visited the actual gardens until recently. We were there for a couple hours and didn't even come close to seeing everything. I can't wait to come back and am thinking of getting a membership once our little is born so we can visit often!
amber heaton: The gardens are ok but get boring after just a couple visits. They never change anything and the price is the same throughout the year. The ticket is very expensive to me because the attractions never change. They seem to want to keep their involvement with the Museums for All program a secret. They list it on the site but do not include it on the pricing boards when purchasing a ticket on site. I have bought tickets with this program twice and both instances the staff member became rude and judgmental. All I did was ask for those tickets then present the cards needed. I'll continue to go here because I live in the area but there are much better gardens in MI!
Enirroc Hemera: I love to visit here every year these gardens have something new each time I come here or just some much to see and not enough time in a day pure Michigan wonderful place to bring kids
Caylyn Roney: Playground: Very kid friendly and lots of activities for the kiddos.Restrooms: Nice clean, well kept restrooms.Picnic area: Gorgeous view of the parks.
Barbara Demis: Frederick Meijer Gardens are beautiful and offer activities for children and adults alike. The grounds are clean and well cared for.
Stephanie Meehan: Beautiful gardens, well-curated and the staff are all knowledgeable and friendly. Had a wonderful time here with my family.
Shelly Struss: My husband and I spent three hours here and didn't see everything. We could easily spend the whole day. Loved the Japanese gardens the most.
Christine Thieman: It's a wonderful place to spend the afternoon 😊
Tasha ann (tbaby): We went over the weekend and it was absolutely beautiful!!
Samantha Laube: Beautiful indoor and outdoor gardens, lots to see and enjoy. My go-to spot to bring out of town friends. I love the butterfly exhibit they feature in early spring.
Celeste E: Beautiful garden and facilities. There are bathrooms everywhere, which is excellent when you are with small children. You definitely need to go early if you want to see everything. The children's garden was a hit for our kids. The Japanese garden and the large horse were the adults favorite.
melanie Burns: Beautiful
Regina Woods: In all the 30+ years I've lived in Michigan, I had never been to Meijer Gardens. It's big and has lots of exhibits, gardens, water features and sculptures. They had a good size children's garden with an interactive water feature of the great lakes. We only had about 3 hours to see as much as we could. I would recommend at least 6 hours to really see everything. It's wheelchair accessible everywhere you go. They do have a picnic pavilion at the front of the gardens.
Brenda Jablonski: Planning a second trip before May 1st to see the butterfly exhibit. Everything was incredibly beautiful I love art 🎨
Lisa Long: Great place, plenty of parking. I recommend the tram tour to get an idea of what you want to go back and see.
j.j. bobasho: I had heard a lot of good things about the art at this place, and that part did turn out to be absolutely true. What no one talks about, however, is that this location is cold, dark, and rainy (even on an afternoon in May
Daniel Richardt: Loved the Devos Japanese garden and the Meijer sculptures along with the Chihuly glass. The concrete tree columns are a great touch. Had a chance to talk with several staff and Amy was delightful.
Tracia Stansby: One of my favorite places in GR! We went to see the Cherry Blossoms in the Japanese Garden and timed it just right with the Butterflies. The sculpture park is still my favorite area. So much to see, I always have my camera with me also. You can eat in their cafeteria or bring a packed meal. Staff is friendly. They do have a children's play area, nature trail, and a Tram.Playground: Not necessarily a playground with slides, but there is a pretty large play area for kids.Restrooms: They really upped their game with the restrooms after the remodel. They are really nice and plenty of stalls. They also have seperate family restrooms.

Cannonsburg Ski Area: what do users think?
Kate Kaczanowski: My family rented the Cedar Lounge at Cannonsburg for a Family Feud watch party and the staff was so helpful and accommodating! They extended their cable subscription, helped us create a menu for our unique event and even created a personalized drinks menu in a Family Feud theme. Would highly recommend them to friends as a place to host a medium sized event!
Kaya Martinez: I hosted a formal event here and it was a great time. Guests really loved the outside area for pictures and mingling. Justin and all the bar staff were super nice to myself as well as the guests. They were very on top of everything and made sure the night went smoothly. I am so grateful to have held our event here and would recommend it to anyone else looking for a venue for a smaller group of people!
Howard Smith: Family fun
Austin Drayton: Snocross is the best love that they took this on
Krista VanDyke: Tubbing was so much fun with my family, and affordable.
Gunreal: Not the best skiing but these people are never open when they need to be. They care more about moose jaw than the people that actually wanna ski or snowboard it
Aaron Montoya: Nice ski area, could use some more flat hills but overall nice , good price too
Chris Cooper: We had a great time tubing. The staff was very friendly and made you feel welcome!
Andrea Nobel: I haven't had that much fun in so long, we went tubing, and I had absolutely the best time, no complaints, staff was great, food was great and tubing was GREAT!!!
Andrea Herwig: We had allot of fun. The staff was friendly
Michelle Patterson: We went to the restaurant. The food was good.
laura kenworthy: It was a beautiful sunny day and we all enjoyed the slopes. I was a little sad that the triple wasn't open, it's my favorite run, but everything else was open and they had plenty of snow
phillip nicholson: Staff and facilities are deteoriating so badly. Toilet rooms are scary. It seems clear they have low standards or no motivation except to sell soon (as noted frequently in the news). Obviously, it is the most convenient location to GR, but a lot of the younger staff are rude and unreliable, so there are frequent shortages. Impressed with how committed they were to snow making this year, though. They got it done enough to salvage some reasonable ski conditions for the die hards who still showed up most of this year, which was no small feat.
Jake King: Lcjsvsjsvehw she even eis xwod ske eis does does eis fiedbdjbe
collin scott: Kinda sucks that every time I go upstairs to the restaurant, all the barstools are taken up by employees. Otherwise, a very cool establishment!
HC Peter Sexton: Hill closed ... was supposed to be open at noon and didn't open until 4pm. Staff at ski shop very helpful
Guillermo Arce: Good hill to teach your kids , can get a little bit crowded. Nothing fancy, a few lifts and runs.
Murtiag (Murt): Great local ski hill - the lifts are in good condition, the lodge is big, the lift operators are great, the terrain parks are nice.Season passes are reasonably priced. The ski shop is convenient, and their staff is very helpful.Their parking lot can be a muddy mess, so I'd recommend putting good snow tires on your vehicle, or you might be stuck there.2/21/23 Update:I've been to this slope a great many times over the past 6 years, and even had a season pass at one point. I never had a bad experience there until today. But today, downhill ski racing was going on, and lots of parents were at the base of the mountain watching their kids.We witnessed young staff members being incredibly rude to parents and operating heavy equipment on the mountain while the slopes were open. I'm not saying I hate the place now, but that was not cool, and it's losing a star from me. We might not be going to Cannonsburg the next time we feel like riding down a mountain.
Solomon Vandam: Absolutely terrible managing this year. I felt completely disregarded just for being young.
Leslie Van Noord: We skied for the first time and the instructors were so helpful
Doin the most: Since high school ski trips

Mulick Park: what do users think?
Jimmy Vickers: Good park
Bradley Bosscher: Playground: Nice restored playground. Good for younger and older kids now.
Alexander Jaide: Great place for sledding!
Tracy Gray: Nice park to play with your kids.
Michelle Markwart: Mulick Park offers a fenced in splash pad, playground equipment, a rentable picnic shelter, bathrooms, a baseball diamond, tennis courts, a grassy open field (that would make for good sledding in the winter, but we're new to the neighborhood and haven't had a chance to test it out yet), and a decent amount of parking in the lot with easy street parking nearby. It's a fairly clean park with plenty of easily accessible trash cans to keep it that way. Since it's just a quick walk from home, we'll certainly be back, though our goal is to visit all the nearby city parks we can this summer!
Carley (Cosmic Carleyy): Beautiful park, big splash pad multiple playgrounds and football practice going on. Lovely place to stop and play
Ross Stevenson: Awesome venue
Deborah Long: Nice, peaceful and clean.
Katherine Figueroa Guzman: Always like Mulik park because is a fenced splash park, but today there were like 5 girls with small kids even a newborn smoking Marijuana like if there were in their house inside of the splash area. Not the best experience today.
celluloid droid: Bathrooms are never open
Kiah Clark: Cold but fun.
Dakota Bick: Great community park. Small splash pad in the summer, baseball diamond, tennis courts and sledding hill in the winter.
Jester Trixxx: Too many nosey people. We can't sit in peace to eat a sandwich without someone asking us about what we're doing
Paul Townsend Lamb: Large park that is great for children and pets. Pets must be leashed, and please be a good human and clean up after them (the children and the pets)
Manuel Arellano: Nice park with a splash pad and small playground for the kids. There are a few picnic tables throughout the park and a small gazebo which can be reserved ahead of time.
sadie Weed: The park was really clean and beautiful. I really enjoyed the time I spent there.
Chris Robinson (TYME0420): Very clean and alot of areas for a variety of things to do.....
Abe L: Nice park, clean Bathroom, all the kids enjoyed the splash pad
Pat Schemmel: Lots of fireworks remnants. Wish people would clean up after themselves!
Baddie latina: Great place to play. The splash pad looks new.. my kids enjoyed themselves. I would recommend this spot for the tiny ones. It's enclosed with a gate and very clean park.
Vindetta Janay: All my family came here to this park . Nice and clean Peaceful place to walk .. cool splash pad for kids

Manhattan Pavilion: what do users think?
Omar Flores: I love the events, the location, and the people. But, the grass fields are in tough shape. They are bumpy and hard. The entire park could use a lot of work to be updated and improved.Playground: The playground is dynamic and well kept. Lots of space and structures.Restrooms: There are restrooms and they are generally functioning and clean.Dog-friendliness: There are lots of different open spaces and even if there's a game going on in one area, there's almost always another area to let a dog get a run or a fetch in.
Laura: Popular place.
Kevin Snyder: Fun park
George Moorman: Pleasant place to relax.
derek kniffen: Great place to play sand volleyball or just hang out for a picnic 🙂

Jen Knickerbocker: Small park good for small kids

Carolyn Ferrari: It is a nice place. Our book club had a meetup there. The pavilion itself was a little hard to get to because the navigation directed us to the main park entrance off of Cascade, but the pavilion is on the other side of the park off of Manhattan.
Kelvin Horton: There are 8 picnic tables here, multiple trash cans, recycling bins, and access to restrooms at the building near the baseball diamonds.
Dañ Coykendall: Restroom across the park from picnic area need one closer to tennis court and volleyball court

Cynthia Ha: What a massive municipal park! If you love walking on safe, clean, well-maintained trails, this is the place! We visited from out of town and enjoyed this place in the early Spring. We'll return any time we're in the area. It's very dog- and stroller-friendly and has abundant parking.

Lots of water for them to swim and play in as well. There's also a bald eagle nest you can see from one of the main trails. Just remember the fish and wildlife service requires you to stay at least 330 feet from any active nest. Lots of wildlife and place to roam alone. Excellent views and runs alongside the grand river.
