Pick up was supposed to be at 11pm. Did not hear word. Around 1120pm on our way home with the Lyft the taxi service finally called saying they were ready for us. They seemed disgruntled that I used Lyft.Can't really blame your patron from using another service if you dont communicate with them, leading them to feel like they have to use back ups, especially when they are downtown late at night trying to secure a safe ride home

I am disabled and left leg I can not raise it. Then the home was a nightmare there was something wrong with the car transmission because all sudden we would be going down the street and car would stop. Then driver passed my street when I told him he wanted to argue about where I live. When he finally turned around I told him to get in center lane he stopped in driving lane to make left turn when I finally got in front of my house I would not let him pull in my driveway

Chandler Barger: Our Business offers vouchers for patients that are in need of a ride home with this "business" and yesterday may of been the last, an elderly patient of ours was waiting patiently for a ride and is not always aware of her surroundings. When the cab driver arrived he proceeded to be BEYOND DISRESPECTFUL to this elderly individual, physically grabbed her and tried to remove her from the vehicle when we were bringing out her voucher because she didn't immediately show her money to him. We had to have an off the clock employee and another employee stay and watch to make sure this driver did not continue to assault this patient physically as well as verbally. Reports will be filed.

O: I took a cab to the vet. The driver didn't have a mask on and was smoking in the car. I reported it and the company didn't care. I told them it was not safe. I felt uncomfortable and my cat and I smell like smoke. it was hard to breathe in the car. They say they will hire anybody that's breathing and who have the virus .

Dot Weir: Had a no show driver at 6:15 am to GRR. Thankfully the Courtyard front desk gal put me in her own car. I called later in the morning to complain about the no show and the gal said, “yes, we know about the problems at Grand Rapids”. They are the taxi company who’s number is posted in the taxi stand at GRR. DON’T TRUST THEM!

The driver didn't have a meter running and told us on the drive that he was going to charge us $60 each. My coworker and I were sharing the cab and our hotels were only three blocks apart. Then when we said we've never been charged per person like that before he said it's the company rules but he'll be nice and just charge 60 and an additional 25 instead. When we said nevermind just take us to the hotel and one of us would walk. He said no it's raining I'm not gonna be that guy. I'm gonna be nice and just take you both for the $60. Keep in mind the cost of the most expensive Uber, in a fancy car, for the same drive at the same time would be $47. The cheapest option was $18. We've just never been so overpriced before so we took the cab not expecting that. Based on the questions he was asking us, it was pretty obvious he was taking advantage of us because we hadn't been to the city before and were on a work trip. When I said I thought he was overcharging us he said no I'm not look, this is from the company, and pulls out a pamphlet that looks like it was poorly made on Microsoft word. You can print out whatever prices you want it doesn't mean you aren't scamming somebody. He raised his voice, looked angry, and I didn't feel safe riding alone with him so I just got out and got an Uber for less than ten bucks to take me to my hotel- who was also shocked that he would try to charge so much.

Brandon Barkholz: Called a day in advance for a 3:30am pick up the following morning. 3:30am came and went, and around 3:45am I called to follow up. The dispatcher informed me the reservation was not in the system, he had no drivers online, and while apologetic; couldn’t do much to solve my problem leaving me stranded at my hotel. About 15 minutes later, a cab pulled up and we were able to make the ride. No concessions were made, we were still charged the full flat fare of $25 for a 1 mile ride.

Scheduled a ride through their system to get to the airport for a 6am flight. No one showed up in the morning, and after calling they said that there were no drivers, and their reservation system didn’t know if they had drivers available or not. A very stressful experience. I asked “how much would a car from the airport to X destination cost?” The rep on the phone said “we’re just the answering service”, so I relied “ok, totally get it, it like to schedule a taxi for 4 hours from now”, she then replied just exit via door 5, and find the taxis. Oh wait, we may not have cans running right now anyways” so I replied “ok, that’s why I was trying to schedule, so there’s nothing you can do?” , her “no”. Wayne Edgar: My son got a Metro One taxi from GRR. Cab driver didn't have a working credit card reader and didn't say anything until already in the cab. Said he could get to the destination for the cash on hand and then ended dropping off halfway saying that's all he could do for the cash.

The other cab co. quoted a half hour arrival & when I shared my panic (@ 5:10am), he promised 9-10 min & took even less than that. Again - do NOT use Metro Cab - ever.
