Rental Property Owners Association: what do users think?
Melissa DeBoer: If you are thinking about rental property, this is the group to connect with. Great information and networking!
Josh and Karrie Gerber: I love the networking and resources found through this group!
Jarod Hoekstra: Very educational!! Great weekly seminars to help find resources and invest further in yourself! I'll certainly be attending again.
Caleb Rights: The RPOA has changed my life forever these are great people that are willing to help any new and inspiring investors please check this place out if you are looking at getting into real estate. Thanks again to the helpful staff at the RPOA.
Myrà Jeter: I am a new investor, I have been a member of RPOA for about a month.By far, this is one if not the best investment that I could’ve done for self. There’s many resources ,connections and helpful great investors.I acquired my first rental property off Market, I reached out to Tim Vandentoorn Investor/manger United Realty to help me sat it up. I’ve had great a experience/service working with Tim as well as Sean Larson helping me with their professionalism and I’m learning. i’ve asked both to be on my team as I grow including United properties management Services.
Tim Vandentoorn: The Rpoa is the greatest local resource for self managing landlord's. The education and networking opportunities benifit both self managing landlords and investors who utilize a third party manager. There is truely something for everyone. I have been a member for ten years during which time I had the privilege to be involved in the Rpoa in many aspects helping others grow along the way.
TJ Simmons: The RPOA is a great organization in Grand Rapids that has helped me, many of my Clients, and many other people with learning better practices with being a landlord, and help that is not always easily found online, easily accessible to you through the RPOA. Great organization, and great people running it!
Nathaniel Williams: Very informative and inclusive organization!
Ryan Hansen: An absolute must if you own rental property
Joseph Minch: Ava is a huge help, thank you!
Bert Heyboer: The networking opportunities alone make the membership worth the cost.
Aaron Katerberg: Great education to learn about renting out houses.
Duane Culver: Offer excellent training opportunities and are strong advocates against unfair government practices.
Lerae Drayton: They are just their for landlords
Marcy DeGrave-Dykstra: Great resource for the community! Love the podcasts and classes...tons of extensive knowledge shared. Thanks and great work!
Jake W: Great resource! This organization has helped make Grand Rapids great by educating and protecting landlords, thus creating a better experience for the citizens of West Michigan. I wound't be able to have and keep such great tenants without your classes and professional network of people involved in real estate.
Courtney Sorrell: The RPOA has taught me so much as I started my RE investing and continues to provide great networking and educational opportunities. I appreciate this resource in our community and its efforts to both revitalize economic growth and teach landlords how to become reputable, legal, and profitable.
esteban largaespada: Great classes & resources for anyone wanting to learn about Real Estate. I assure you, you will get more insight from local experts here than in a $2000 boot camp. And the coffee is great as well!
Russ VandenToorn: Thanks RPOA - We would not be where we are today without all your classes - Some people pay $40,000 and do not get as much as the classes that cost under $50.00
Allison Koetsier: Amazing resource for landlords, property managers, and real estate investors. The networking and learning opportunities are phenomenal.
Brandon Krieg: The RPOA is a helpful and supportive group. My first experience with them occurred at the Annual Conference, which had hundreds of real estate folks and great information. After that, I was introduced to their discount program, the legal assistance, the contracts and forms, and the fantastic courses. Each of these elements have helped me, and were done very professionally. The staff is always ready to help, and are open to input. I recommend this group and their services highly.

Legal Assistance Center: what do users think?
Loani Rea Williams: Sometimes the help I have found here is absolutely amazing. I've walked away feeling like the wait (2.5 hours once) was all well worth it.On other occasions, I've thought my efforts were completely wasted, the staff could care less, and it showed. No matter however frustrated you may be in your situation, don't let loose here. The inconsistent help will be nonexistent; trust me.
Marianna Ohaeri: Wonderful group of people. Dedicated to helping where they can. Emily was patient, helpful and kind!!
A. T.: Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. If you're not able to come in person, leave a voicemail they will return your call as soon as possible. For first time comers:Off street parking available, or park in a nearby garage. You need to pass through security - and those guards are VERY friendly!LAC is located on the fifth floor. Check in and wait until called. I recommend bringing a book, homework, music or doing your paperwork until called as you can be called sooner. If you have paperwork to fill out, make copies (free copies at library available otherwise you will be charged for copies) and have questions about it, bring it with you. I recommend completing all the paperwork and turn in to the second floor clerk office. If you're low income, you can apply for a fee waiver (don't need to pay). Ask all your questions @LAC!
Melissa Gonzalez: i was unsure of the process for my case and they were most helpful in explaining everything and making sure i had the right paperwork. this is a great resource for those that dont know the process they need to follow.
Sharosudo: The wait was long, but the people were incredibly helpful and nice. Please be patient.
Wireless Caller: I am schoked there dirt unprofessional manager from legal assistance. They advandages my sign, but its wrong should not sign. I told desk I need to ASL interpreter. We do not want misunderstands. I met young girl very nice she type her computer what they said " they only child support and divorsed" But desk did not explain about divorse. I ask receptionist " Please return my form what I signature" not relatet divorse. I m llook for lawsuit against two city group different police, landlords, people and all business for assault of me. All Michigan does sickness unhumane eorn used phone follow of me.I told manager "Please return form what I should not sign.I told desk, " you did not more explain"Manager run front of me , she very mean awful cruel, unprofessional . Please back my form , it's wrong not related divorsed, I complaint against police, landlords for assaul harass me with 5 years.State Michigan horrible unawful discrimination against ethisc deaf woman.
Michelle Schmucker (Shelly): Just wanted to say thank you to Linda and all her help. I appreciate this office and their guidance.
Corey Guigelaar: Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Just wish they were open a little later.
Vanessa M Mielke: Very helpful
Poetica Songtress: A good place to seek assistance
Mike Henry: Very helpfull what a great resource for the community.
karenna deloof: Helpful to a point. They have almost everything you need paperwise to do what you need at the court.. But despite their name they CAN NOT assist you will legal advice for how or what to write on the papers..
Kyle Clarke (K2GR): None of these ppl are lawyers or want to be lawyers or arnt even law students doing this job. Yet everyday they give out legal advice as it were fact. They dont know what they are doing. Its the blind leading the blind. Hire a private or professional attorney. To not just take these people at their words.
Kristen Kaboom: It's questionable
Joy Gallup: Very helpful.
Freddy S: Somewhat knowledgeable staff, you hey have to remember that they are not lawyers and if you are thinking about saying "that's what they told me at the legal assistance center" in the courtroom be prepared for the judge to tell you they are not lawyers. Besides having to understand legalities on your own the lac does give pretty good advice.
Shaun Wooden: Awesome. So helpful
Adam Stevens: I've had three occasions to work with the LAC and they were very helpful each time. Couldn't have asked for better service.
Patricia Riley: Very helpful. They work very hard to help people out.

Fair Housing Center of West Michigan: what do users think?
Just Me: Not open to the public. Does not answer phone calls or return phone calls as well as emails. Fair Housing does not make it easy to talk to someone whom needs the help that is needed. My children & I have been living in a conjoined apartment building where from day one have been breathing in mold & other toxins. We were told prior to finding out where we would be living at that there was no smoking. There is definitely smoking & drugs running through the building. Staff has & will threatened tenants. The staff is supposed to be in the business of helping people but doesn't. Staff has been known & is known to walk in tenants apartments with or without notice while in the shower, on the toilet, barely dressed or even being asleep leaving us exposed. Staff will give the tenant(s) the run around & turn the tenant(s) away. Staff puts tenants in harms way constantly. In order to have a roof over our heads then we have to deal with it.. Where does our rights matter?
Momma Is me: I called wasn't much help, got a few numbers from them to call. Done so and still not any further than not calling
Bill Newhof: Great staff
Slot all Communists: Very helpful she nice people
Rick Hamilton: Slow at getting stuff done
Amanda Haveman: They didn't help with the problem that I have had and still have.
Christina Castanie: Very helpful and kind .. thank you Mr.Jeffries
Stephine George: Yes very helpful in helping you with everything you need done all the time and courteuse too
Samantha Pixley: Very friendly.
Mary Leduc: If you have a tenent issue bring it here if they can't help you they will tell you where to go. Been there three times George has always been pleasant and helpful
Sean White: Good learning for all that need help
Michele Buford: This facility benefited me in the past!

ICCF Community Homes: what do users think?
Herman Faceson: It's looking for housing and I couldn't get any help. I'm still homeless.
Chiquita Wheller: No child they don't help
Katie M: The apartments that we’ve lived in are spacious and overall pretty good, but their management is an absolute joke. There is no professionalism within this organization. They take your rent and if you email your property manager with any concerns, they’ll just simply ignore your emails.
Lance Mallett: I personally want to thank ICCF for helping me, in a unfair Judicial Improprocity real estate transaction against the City, shows Integrity within their organization.
Porcha Silas: I love the place and everyone in there very nice people and always willing to help 😀
Eduardo Sanchez: One of the property managers she is the worst human you can talk to i got her on a recording and she is really discriminating on the tenants she let people stay some where else bout she would evict everyone else
Fronnie Fox: Great place...
Queen Things: I learned that this state has to have a certain amount of homeless people in order to keep getting a certain amount of funding they may help a few people here and the to make it look like they are making progress this is more of a business not humanitarian work these people aren’t doing this from the kindness of there hearts as long as there are homeless people they will always have a job and power of people who are hurting and everyone loves power sad to say but it’s all facts they don’t care about the children especially minority children as long as people are hurting and in a bad situation prison systems stay full walfare and cps can stay in business people keep getting paid state keep getting money and that’s the cycle
Williemae Dean: They were very professional and polite
Not Available: Constantly ignored.
Felicia Carter: I like the fact they help low income families that really need help
Samantha Pixley: Great staff.
Charlie Sears: Good people doing good work!
Johnathanleisgang Leisgang: Nice friendly people seems like the program could possibly bring promise to individuals futures the downside is there's a disappointment that they don't have any local low-income rentals right now however I will be more engaged with them in the future hopefully unless something else presents itself along the way
Sharon Carey: Took me off the waiting list after I was told I wouldn't be
Angelica Alegria: Great and beneficial programs
Sai Tuja: Repair old house and resell with very reasonable price for those who are very low income.
paul S.: Done of the most helpful and sweetest people working there. Roxane was amazing and comforting .
Byron James Brazier II: Amazing, recommend every one seek help from them.
Sal Moreno: Friendly, great services. Good community resource. First Time Home Ownership classes are amazing.

Heritage Hill Association: what do users think?
Lisa Chang: Wonderful Staff
Candice Fleszar-Smith: One of the nation's largest urban historic districts. Its 1,300 homes date back to 1843 with unique combinations of 60 architectural styles. It's been named the best old-house neighborhood in Michigan. By 1920, the once rural farmland became an upscale residential neighborhood filled with large manor houses. Early residents of the area included lumber barons, industrial leaders, banking executives, downtown merchants, doctors and lawyers. I have a variety of #HeritageHill tours I share through #DiscoveryMichigan tours and experiences! Let me help you explore this gorgeous neighborhood.
