Jacki Traxler: If you want to watch your mental health go down the toilet, work here! The team leads talk down to employees constantly. You are constantly picked on by management. Talked down to constantly. The leads actually time your bathroom breaks and take that time out of your only 30 minute lunch break. Which I’m pretty sure is illegal. You are constantly watched and yelled at. The list goes on. The owner needs to step in and find new management. I wouldn’t recommend this job to anyone.

Yue Bae: They have a Data Entry Clerk position open. I applied on April 21, 2021. I received an email response the next day stating my resume was reviewed, they'd love to set up an interview and to respond back with my availability. I responded that same day with my availability. No response the next day which was Friday, and the weekend came about. When Monday arrived, I still didn't get a response. On Tuesday, April 27th, I ended up reaching out stating I hadn't received a response to my availability, and I inquired whether the job was still available. I received a response that same day, asking whether a 4pm phone interview would work, and I advised it would. I literally waited a few hours for 4pm to arrive, despite being fatigued from my current job and desperately wanting to sleep before having to go back to work. Once 5pm, and the next day with no phone call or further communication came about, I realized their recruiter was on games, and Applied Textiles probably wasn't a good company to work for. Also, what I found to be weird was when I received an email from them, the name Kelsey Cornwell was in the subject line (with the company name following), but Lauren Whitfield was noted at the end of the email response. Not really sure who exactly I was speaking with, and I mentioned that twice to them, and no clarification was ever provided. Long story short, don't waste your time like I did. There are better companies out there and better jobs to apply for.

I just started 2 weeks ago holiday pay starts right away many chances to advance great staff HR is fantastic and an all-around good team of people. I have felt welcome since I walked in the door and everybody has been very courteous and kind.looking forward to hopefully many years of employment and service

Emily Murray: Never in my life have I encountered a more poorly run company than Applied textiles. It's funny that the only 5 star reviews for the company are from it's current employees.Hence the necessity for me to come forward and present the internet with the truth (as an ex-employee I'm free to speak my mind without fear of punishment) and I sincerely hope you all got bonuses for writing those reviews - because you and I both know y'all are LYING.The people that I worked with on a daily basis were some of the best - some in particular were SO knowledgeable and kind, unfortunately that's not an accurate reflection of the team as a whole. It's a shame that the owner and upper management don't give their top performers the recognition and praise that they truly deserve. Instead they're too focused on nurturing the world class level of nepotism that they've created to ever worry about the employees that are actually towing the line of business for them.If you want to dread going to work every day and push yourself beyond the point of exhaustion, all while being told "you're not doing enough" then you should surely apply today!

LaTasha Roberts: One of the most unprofessional places of business I've ever encountered. Upper management speaks down on employees as if you're not human. My employment background deals with various Customer Service skills. I was hired to inspect fabric with promises of converting into a Customer Service position, once I learned the business. Turns out, Human Resources (Jennifer) fabricated when telling me this. I can only imagine what promises they tell in order to capture new clientele. You never know day to day what your work schedule will consist of. The few times I meet John (owner) was pleasant. I think he is the only individual associated with this company that was a pleasure to encounter. I simply think he has the wrong people in the wrong positions.
Lisa: Beautiful fabrics with a huge selection to pick from. The only reason they got four instead of five is because in the summer 90 degree plus weather they don't have air conditioning inside the main factory which makes it more like 120. Gatorade is given as required I just think heat health should and ought to be addressed.

Jerry Leigh: Must have changed management. After over 30 years of doing business this company started charging one price at check out on their web site and charging an extra $27 for a $10 item because they had to ship from 2 locations. They did this without informing me..When challenged for this illegal act, they lied and said they would have accounting call me back. After the old run-around and multiple calls management said they would issue a call tag and refund after they received the $10 item back. I will post if they do.
Maria Hernandez: Short version:They gave me the run around for 4 days. Never got the price quote I wanted for a discontinued fabric and found out on the 4th day that they no longer have enough of it for my project. They did on the 1st day, so if they hadn't given me the runaround, I could've purchased it.Long Version:I am a seamstress who does custom sewing, including the occasional non-apparel items. My client wanted a second set of covers made for the booth seats at her business. The existing covers were made with a fabric sold by Burch (and seemingly nowhere else). I called on Monday to ask about the fabric. I was told the fabric had been discontinued and that there were 15 yards left. At the time of the call, I wasn't sure if 15 yards would be enough for this project so I ended the call and double checked my math. When I was sure that 15 yards were enough (literally 5 minutes later) I called back. I couldn't get a hold of the person I originally spoke with so I tried to continue the conversation with a second rep.She told me that they could not provide a price on the fabric unless I opened an account with them so I told her to go ahead and send me the application. I received an e-mail within a few minutes. I filled out everything and provided all the documents they asked for. A few hours later I get an e-mail from a third rep saying that, upon further research, they recommend I apply to their other website JKBFabrics.com. I went to the website and searched for the fabric I needed but it was not listed on that website. I replied to the e-mail, that same day, asking for clarification as I had not been able to find the fabric I needed. They responded saying that not all fabrics they sell are listed on the JKB website and that if I wanted to order it, I would have to go through her directly.I replied to that message stating, again, which fabric I wanted including the color and yardage. She responded the following day on Tuesday saying that she couldn't find my account and therefore couldn't complete the order. I decided to call her to confirm whether I still needed to set up an account on the website even though the order would be made directly through her, over e-mail, and pertained to an item that was not listed anywhere on that website. She said yes, so I immediately went back to the website and created the account. I got an automated confirmation of my account creation which I forwarded to her so she would be aware.On Wednesday I still did not receive any further communication from the company so I sent her an e-mail requesting an update.No response on Thursday either so I tried to call again. This time, the phone played a recorded message saying to go to JKBFabrics.com and immediately hung up! It wouldn't let me through to any menus or dial any extensions.I went to the website thinking maybe there would be an update there. There wasn't. So, as a last ditch effort, I sent her another e-mail. This time, she responded almost immediately asking me to "please refresh her memory on which fabric I was looking for" By this point I had told this person 4 separate times (both e-mail and over the phone) which fabric, color, and yardage I needed. She responds by telling me that the fabric I'm looking for is discontinued (yeah, I knew this) and that they only had 4 yards left...unbelievable.If she has simply taken my order the first day, they would've been able to sell off the entire remaining fabric and both my client and I would have been happy. Instead they made me waste 4 days and now the fabric is gone.

Christine Lainberger: This Hot Topic had a great selection of jewelry and accessories. I enjoyed the walls offering of t-shirts also. I ended up buying a pop Alice figure here. It went on to become my most visited photo. I do really enjoy Alice in wonderland items and any time I find them I am excited and buy. The staff offered to assist me a few times. They were helper mode if needed.

They didn't greets us, they were busy, they stared at us, my daughter got super excited over a hoodie she wanted I got it down off of the top shelf and the lady just stood there and complained after not to take things off the top shelf. They both were bi***y and gave us attitude.They have horrible customer service.Thanks for ruining a good time for my daughter that's a military kid having fun at the mall!!Maybe you should all get new staff members and managers!!!

Violet Wooden: I went here on Wednesday and all of the employees were extremely kind and helpful. I was in an electric wheelchair which made it hard to get around, but everyone working there went out of thier way to move displays and help me get through. They were all extremely kind, helpful, and accommodating. I'm always so happy when I go in here because of how nice the employees always are.
