josh harton: A scammer put in a complaint we wint to court and proved he was a scammer now the bbb wont remove the complaint because it was put in before going to court. But if I pay for a membership they can remove the complaint

Sharon Kolenda: About 3 months ago I sent a detailed letter to the BBB, never heard a thing, then a called a couple weeks later and got a voice mail that was full, called back a week later to leave a message and haven't heard a thing in 3 months. Do better BBB, you are here to serve the people, please do your job!

Chris V: About a year ago the BBB referred Property Renovation Expert in Grand Rapids to replace my windows. He purchased all the materials with my money and requested that pay him half of the labor up front, so I did. When he began the work on the windows, he stated that he purchased the wrong size windows. At this point I did not feel comfortable with this person continuing the work on my house. I requested my money back for the labor which was around 800 dollars minus 10 percent for his time. He refused to pay me back to this day. When I filed a complaint the BBB did help me resolve this issue. The lady In charge of my complaint Stacy Ledesma did nothing to help me resolve this issue and just closed my complaint without letting me know.

Shawn Six: I NEVER got to a real person. It was a never ending loop of "If your this? Then push #3....... Blaaa. Blaaa..... Blaaa...! It ended with them telling me to call another number during business hours. It was 2:20 PM on a Tuesday. Ugh!
Garrett Schreyer: I am disappointed in the BBB and a little baffled by their treatment.We received a complaint letter from them on December 5th. In this letter it said that any response had to be made within 10 days. So we gathered the related documents and sent them via certified mail on December 8th, with confirmation of delivery on December 12th. Yet they sent us another letter saying that no response was received and that the complaint was posted as "Unanswered."As of now, December 23rd, we have been unable to get in contact with them about the issue. I don't know how you run your business, but shops like ours are built on transparency and our reputation.A response was given, with the documents showing the work we recommended, the work the customer declined, and the services that we did provide, but it doesn't even seem like it's being reviewed or even acknowledged. We have left two messages for a Stacey L. and have still heard nothing back.

Scott Myhre: Update: The BBB called me and admitted they had not allowed enough time along with not contacting me as they had contact info. They reversed their actions and we worked through the claim. They made things right. Original complaint: The local BBB sent me a letter with a consumer complaint. The letter took longer to arrive than the deadline from the BBB. I assumed the USPS took a long time to deliver. I emailed the BBB a response to improve timing. I then received another response, once again 10 days after the date on the letter saying they did not hear from me so they were publishing the complaint. They have my phone number and website which contains 12 ways to contact us, yet they choose to send a letter which arrives after the deadlines they set. How ironic an organization that exists to rate other companies does such a poor job themselves.
Robert Carson: Trying to rate a particular business who didn't seem to care if one of their personnel butchered a customer where I've had extremely good service in past: not sure what difference is presently.. . . Used to be easy process to enter a business complaint and rating no more. Won't bother again. Guess my complaint is against wrong service, should be rating Better Business Bureau.

Catherine Crago: Very disappointing experience. Filed a claim several weeks ago. No response to claim or follow up voice mails I have left. How ever I do receive useless emails unrelated to my issue. I've replied back and Troy seems to be the only person who's even attempted to help by forwarding my requests for a call back, unfortunately that has not happened.

george freeman: waste of time basically told me it's ok for auto insurance to make fraudulant statements on the law as a delay tactic for excepting responsibility for their driver.their driver even called and admitted fault to his insurance company which is backed by police report.sent email to reconsider closing case no response to the response i have a complaint number for having no knowledge of my complaint.there is reviews all over internet about this delay tactics especially michigan don't see how misrepresenting laws falsifying them is any way a good honorable business difs is involved and everybody should know this delay tactics to past the the statue of limitations
