Dave Delinski: DJ, our tow truck driver, has excellent customer service. He asked if we had a hotel room, and we said we did, Homewood Suites on Stahl Dr. SE. It was about 3 miles from where he was to tow our car. He took us to the hotel, then went on drop off our car. He called a few minutes later to explain the address must be incorrect it was a dental office. He said he knew of a transmission company nearby and said if we could get our insurance company to authorize, he’d take our car there. They did, and he was able to drop our car off. He had been working a very long day in the cold, which was made even longer by the the incorrect address, but never lost his pleasant nature. Bella P: Absolutely love this company! Dispatch picked up instantly. When I called they were so polite, kind, and understanding they told me that it was only going to be 30 minutes until the tow truck driver arrived which never happens!! I was expecting at least 1 hour. They allowed me to leave the vehicle and pay over the phone which was a huge help! Once the tow trucker arrived, then called to tell me that he had checked out my vehicle and found out that it was just the battery. He charged the battery and then waited for me to arrive back to the vehicle. I have to say this was one of the kindest companies I've dealt with. Joe Teague: I called to schedule a future tow and before I could even state a date needed the guy responded "We don't have any trucks available" in a very short manner. I responded with pause, "Oh, oaky, I was look for tomorrow..." which was met with the same reply "We don't have any trucks available". Not an "I apologize we are currently booked for "(insert reason)" but instead it's "We don't have any trucks available." I don't know if they are good at towing or not, but based on his response I will not be calling them again. Lots of other options.

Tom Hopping: If I could put 10 stars I would! Was currently on Alpine Ave. and noticed a older woman clearly living out of her car that had a HELP sign in the window. Preceded to talk to her and she told me her battery was dead, she had no money and no phone and she needed a jump. Not having any cables I told her I would get her some help. I called Hermitage Towing and told them of the situation. I told them I would pay for the jump to help her. He took my name and number and said he would go check out the situation and call me back. He did just that - he jumped her van, called me back and did not charge me. Truly an act of kindness! Thank you for being so generous and God Bless this towing company!!! The best!!
Emily Zimmerman: This place says that it is opened 24 hours. However we visited and nobody was there. We called and they said they would be back in a "couple hours," and that we should call before picking the car up. Also we did not know, but payments can only be made in cash. It is also poorly marked, hard to find, and the signs are all spelled different than on maps.

Preston Diemond: While I'm sure there is a lot of good this towing company has done when helping members of the community when they've needed roadside help, I'm disgusted with a recent experience I had with them. On a Saturday night I visited a friend at the Off Broadway apartments to drink. After drinking and socializing for four hours I decided to be safe and get a ride home instead of drive. I go to pick my car up early next morning, and it was gone. I had mistakenly parked in the main lot, which I have never done before, and was towed the same night at 10:30pm before I even left the apartment complex. I recognize my folly, and should have gotten some kind of fine, or even towing, but I was charged an exorbitant amount of $260! I was furious to say the least. I had just paid my phone bill, and if I was living paycheck to paycheck, like so many do sadly, I would have been screwed. For a small mistake of not seeing the signs in the dark. After searching the lot for a number to call I found one, but was told the line was disconnected or changed, so I then had to search their google phone number. This was a predatory charge against me. When I asked for an itemized bill of some kind via phone call the receptionist hung up on me, and then I called again and I could tell she didn't know what to say, and I offered to drive there to get some kind of statement of all charges, and she said that would work best. I get there and was told by her that they don't provide them. I wasn't expecting a full list by any means, but $260 didn't sit right with me. I felt screwed over and the amount I was charged was absolutely ridiculous amount and feel as though I was taken advantage of without any protections.

Travis Wasson: I was connected with J's Towing by my AAA roadside assistance membership. I spoke with Emily, who was very nice and professional on the phone. My goal was to have my vehicle towed from my home address to a local repair shop 7.4 miles away. Unfortunately, Emily quoted me a price based on a 15-mile route that was simply unreasonable. I interpreted this as an attempt to take advantage of a person (not Emily, necessarily, but J's towing overall) in a desperate situation (which I was not, since I was safe at home and not stranded on the side of the road). I called AAA back, spoke with the complaint department, who agreed with my assessment, called J's towing to get clarification while I waited on hold, and returned saying J's towing was sticking to their guns (so to speak) and the 15-mile route previously quoted. There is absolutely no way a reasonable direct route from my vehicle to the repair shop is 15 miles unless they take an unnecessary detour to drive around a neighborhood somewhere. I chose to use a different company who did not attempt to cheat me on mileage. Your mileage may vary (pun intended), but I would suggest you consider a company other than J's towing as well if possible.
