Tuesday I called in the afternoon to find out they don’t have all the parts in stock. They will call back with details. No call. Wednesday morning rolls around and nothing. We call in the afternoon and now the part we should have had Tuesday or Wednesday turns into possibly 2 weeks. They again will call us back with details. Waited until almost close and had to call again 6 minutes to closing time. Very frustrating with the lack of communication and a truck we are trying to get on the road. Will update if things get better.Update: they did make the situation right. We got our part 2 days later than expected but managed to make it work in between.

Bernadette Schafer: Very bad experience. We were quoted a price of $500 to do an overview on a differential. Next day we get a call and they want another $137 for new bearings. The bearings that were in it were brand new top quality. They were told we would be back the next day to pick it up and it was still in pieces and no bearings.

Hancock John: I purchased a remanufactured spicer 7 speed transmission from valley about 6 months ago. I paid local truck mechanic to install. We are a local company so we dont travel far. Within 2 weeks 100 to 150 miles 6th gear had gone out! I hired another mechanic to remove transmission. We dropped it back off at distributer to send back to valley. They took it apart and told me it was our fault and they were not going to warranty. Said I could pay 1700 to get it fixed. I have another bucket truck with same transmission and we have had it for 5 years with no problems.I will never buy from them again. Save yourself the hassle and use a local company! Spoke to manager the next day 8/28/19. He insisted that it was my fault and would not warranty. Their profits are more important than honoring a warranty!

P S: Brought my drive shaft into be worked on. Found out from Kim that it was bent. I believe a previous shop that did work on it for me totally screwed it up.Kim told me that he could build me a new one in court of days and gave me a very fair price. Had it done in day and a half, with the price we agreed on. Put it back on my truck and no vibrations and smooth as glass. Kudos to the drive shaft department, thank you very much for the great job. Thank you Kim for the help. 2004 Dodge Ram 1500. 😀

I will never come or recommend this establishment to anyone. Incredibly disappointed with the employees sense of integrity and lack of compassion.

Garth Brown: 2nd Revision: Another terrible experience has led me to 1 star and I am working with Navistar to file a formal complaint against WMI. My appointment made nearly a month in advance was not kept and 3 days later had to remove my truck to be worked on elsewhere. They had a list of parts, "most I didn't end up needing" that they wanted me to purchase without tearing down the truck for a proper inspection. It was then ALLOWED to be driven off premises with rear brakes WAY past wear lines and S-cams turned over and pins bouncing around in the drums. I had ZERO rear brakes! But they visually ""INSPECTED"" and test drove it purportedly. At least that's what I had to pay for even though 3 days after they should have had it started, nothing had been done. They treat you like garbage here. They take care of their "bigger" accounts but couldn't care less about small business trying to grow. I would highly suggest taking your truck ANYWHERE else if you can. Problem is if you're under warranty, where are you supposed to go? Out of state? There all owned by the same company in West Michigan. Was able to take care of my issues within a night with a smaller company doing the work.Revised: Recent visit has shown the highest level of customer service. Shout out to Craig. Raising to 4 stars for time being.Slow service, terrible customer service from most of the service writers, and I had to diagnose the problem for the tech. The ONLY reason it's not 1 star is because there are still a couple good techs and service writers that WANT to help you.
