Cameron Hoxsie: absolute dumpster fire, couldn't schedule properly would ask about scheduling and when availability was given they would ignore. Always just winging it. they def steal money from employees and make them work like slaves in the heat and elements.
Connor Stowell: My experience working for Midwest Parking was awful. The owner took $100 from our paychecks for a single shirt and then never reimbursed employees when they tried to turn it in upon quitting, Instead he ignored all contact. I also suspect the owner was stealing tips that belonged to the employees because guests are able to tip on the app and we never saw any of those tips. I do not recommend working for this company, very shady.
lord Dominik Bepristis: Terrible company to work for they lure employees in with the promise of $20 an hour then screw them over all the way from scheduling (which never happens) to the $100 deposit that they take and won't give it back. Management is absolute trash. Don't work for them or hire them. I signed no papers and THEY DIDN'T EVEN ASK ME FOR MY DRIVER'S LICENSE THE WHOLE TIME I WAS THERE. STAY CLEAR!

Christopher Gibson: A terrible "company" to work for! They're completely horrid to their employees and refuse to pay for them their hours worked! They DON'T CHECK DRIVERS LICENSES OR BACKGROUNDS when they hire either!I would avoid them, it's only$5 to park your own vehicle right across the street.

Joseph Garbini: Used the self parking on Library and Division to go to an event at the GR Children's Museum for work. The parking cost me $27 for 4 hours, and then the self parking machine didn't give me a receipt so I couldn't even get the money reimbursed with work. Quite a lot of money and inconvenience for parking that is not any more protected than street parking. Lot has 68 parking spaces.

Alex Harry: Horrible service! Avoid parking here at all costs! Card reader was down and we could not exit for over two hours! Company does not care! The parking attendant asked "where do you work at? Are you in the business of giving out free stuff?" Completely rude and sarcastic comment. So cars were held there for +2 hours, we even called police department. Avoid avoid avoid
Katherine Harry: HORRIBLE experience with this parking company. We waited almost TWO HOURS to exit the Studio Park(ing) garage after an event. The card machine in the exit line was broken and the attendant was allowing two lanes of cars INTO the garage without allowing anyone to leave. After not moving AT ALL for so long, many concerned people waiting to exit went down to speak with the attendant. He made it very clear he was "not in the business of giving parking away for free" and would not be lifting the gate. He eventually shut down and stopped responding to the group of patrons asking him to please let us out of the garage.After literally being trapped for hours, we were forced to call the police department. When we could finally leave, the garage "supervisor" was standing around vaping, not doing anything to help the situation.We called the parking company's customer service number and the woman said we should expect this after an event (we have been to this type of event before and did not have this issue. If we did, we would NOT have used this garage). She said we should have parked farther away from the venue. When we asked if she was recommending we do not use their facility, she responded "that is not what I said" and hung up.Overall horrible experience with Ellis parking in every way. It is YOUR error that the card machine was not working. You cannot trap patrons in the garage for hours in hopes that you can get the machine to work. No one is trying to get "free parking" (which, by the way, we were all charged an additional two hours of parking after sitting there for so long). At a certain point it is literally a SAFETY HAZARD to trap hundreds of people inside the garage. After dealing with the completely incompetent, unhelpful, and rude garage supervisor and customer service woman, my family and friends will stay far away from Ellis parking.
Daniel Harry: Attended TSO concert and it took a hour and a half to exit from the thrird floor. There was a problem with the card reader and they chose to hold everyone hostage rather than lift the gate. This is a safety and a customer service concern. Avoid Ellis ramps for events unless you are willing to wait indefinitely.
Jeff Estrada: Ellis parking is a complete scam. The lot says 3.00 for half hour I was in the lot for an hour and got charged 12.00. When brought to the companies attention they said they can’t do nothing about it. I would highly suggest using a City lot rather than this private company
Nikki Hatfield: We went to take some senior photos at the top level of the parking garage. Just as we were finishing a very grumpy old man parking attendant told us we needed to leave and not return. That photos were not allowed to be taken on their property. I told the worker that we were leaving and apologized. As he was pulling away he proceeded to make a snarky comment saying I can't believe there aren't better places to take photos than a parking garage. Thinking to myself Sorry sir, there was NO sign posted, however there was a sign that we did see that you must have missed. It clearly stated NO SMOKING .. as you were puffing away on your vape pen IN a company vehicle. We paid our $6.00 parking fee for our 30 minute photo shoot and WILL NOT Be back.
Michael Schermer: My company owns many buildings in the grand rapids area. One of those in particular has an attached parking structure monitored by Ellis. Occasionally I need to park on that parking structure so I was instructed to press the call button and tell the attendant that I work for the building. Every couple times I need in it is insisted that I pay for my parking despite it being part of our contract with Ellis that employees and occasionally contractors will need on to that parking structure and they are to be allowed on. Even when I am let on I am met with incredibly rude behavior from every employee I have talked to.

James Froehlich: My company offered valet parking for a company party, when I got my truck back they had clearly hit something with it. So I call them, get a quote for the damage 1,200 dollars.... I then send them that quote as they had asked, and have heard nothing since. I have called several times got to there secretary, but some how the people I needed to talk to are always "out". If this isnt a shady company I dont know what is.

David Strotheide: What an absolute joke of an experience again. About nine months ago I decided to trust Alice to park my vehicle about an hour into my dinner I was notified that they crashed my truck which ended up in approximately $15,000 worth of damage. Decided to trust them again let them park my company vehicle at our Christmas party last night and we decided to get a hotel room with some friends the valet attendant said just press the help button and they will open the gate for you in the morning. Go to pick up my car in the morning and sure enough I get greeted with a condescending terrible customer service representative she said that there was nothing she could do to help me. Had to purchase a lost ticket even though I had my valet stub with me for $32.
J S: SCAM ALERT. Grand rapids 55 Ottawa location is an automated lot with clear signage stating 2.50 per hour. After 3 hours it was max price of $15 to get out of lot. This was during a Griffin's game. I recommend the $5 prepay cash lots near by unless you like feeling scammed.
Emalee Ann: The WORST costumer service I have ever dealt with. We will NEVER waste our money with Ellis Parking. We came for my bachelorette party and we clarified multiple times because we had a suit with 3 drivers that we each could park our car for free. We called ahead to ask, asked the desk, and asked AGAiN before leaving. The lady that we spoke with was rude right off the back. The supervisor was also completely rude. I have never dealt with that kind of disrespect off of a parking ramp. They insisted we paid and 64 dollars later for ONE night. Who would pay that to park a car. What a joke.

John Lemon: By far the worst company to get involved with. Terrible ethical standards, ridiculous prices, and untrustworthy management. Employees and customers are both treated like objects. I truly feel sorry for anyone who thinks about signing a contract with these scavengers. Unreal.
