Century Avenue VA Clinic: what do users think?
BJTHEKING 4life: Nice app
Redd: Didn't seem to want to bother helping me at all. Treated me more like a inconvenience when I was just looking for employment resources.
R Langford: Very friendly and helpful
Emily Burns: Very resourceful organization always willing to help veterans and guide them to success!
Gregory Hink: I'm giving them 2 stars until I get confirmation on a question I posed.I've used WMVAP about 6 months, never been questioned or challenged for coming in to early, I've always showed up once a month. On my last visit, one of their volunteers insisted I was only allowed to come to pantry once every 30 days. He said I'll make an exception this time and gave me food.Is that volunteer here to be an enforcer or here to help?Once per month is more reasonable and flexible. Maybe I have to work on that 30 the day, so according to 30 day rule I don't get food help that month.Maybe it's been 13, 21 or 24 days, is it right to deny me food assistance because I have to wait exactly for 30 days?If the rule is 30 days, I would ask the leaders and volunteers to use discretion and in fact, just change the official rule to "one visit per month".It the common sense, reasonable, helpful thing to do.Put the rule on your WMVAP page so all vets know as well as your volunteers too.If/when you reply to this comment, I will change my star review to reflect your consideration on this matter. Thanks
Herbert Fletcher: Great place for Veterans to get assistance with the benefits and more. Thank you for your hard work and helping Veterans.

Wyoming VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic: what do users think?
Bob Chavarria: I've been using the VA healthcare system for nearly 30 years, across 2 states and 3 regions and I have yet to experience any of the nightmare stories you hear about. I have been treated with nothing, but respect, kindness and exemplary care.
Veronica Revell-Jefferson: Don’t have much good to say about this VA location. Seems as if the doctors don’t actually care. I was told I was fine because “im young”.Had back issues while in service and still do after I got out of the service. The doctor told me my severe back pain was “bad posture” and that im too young to have a real issue. I went and got my own primary care doctor outside the VA and that doctor immediately got me a mri and confirmed that I had two bulging discs and sciatica.Appointments at this VA are also very difficult to get and they constantly call time to reschedule even farther out. It’s a waste of time making any appointments here especially for bothersome issues.
John Laudonio: Went to the lab. Very nice staff. In and out with no issues. Very professional.
William Deetz: Fantastic staff.
Joshua Morgan: Very dissatisfied and disappointed with Dr Manalac on gold team. Laughed in my face and accused me of using drugs, even though my labs proved I wasn't. Refuses to treat my back issues. Constantly interrupts me when I try to ask questions. Am going to consult a real, civilian Dr who will listen to me and take me seriously. Ever since I left this review, I have been refused my medications by michelle manalac. I wont even call her a Dr because she isn't. . I called my refills in over a month ago and still havn't received them. My testosterone level is 42 dangerously low, yet they wont treat me for it. Have to live in pain everyday from bulging discs in my neck and back. They refuse to treat me for that as well. Called patient advocate 3 times and it took them a month to send me an incident report to fill out. Word of warning, don't speak out against your caretaker or you will be refused your medications and ignored. If you have the option, seek treatment from a civilian Dr. They will actually listen to you and treat you. VA IS A JOKE!! Just waited 25 Min for a video appointment. Second one in the last 3 weeks. After waiting for 15 minutes past the start time I call and spend another 15 minutes on hold. Needless to say, no one can give me a straight answer or help me. All of this has happened since I spoke out against the way I have been treated. Waited 5 weeks for med refills that somehow didn't make it to my house. Been going to the VA for 20 yrs and never had this happen. michelle manalac has brought down the quality of care and the efficiency of the entire gold team.
Ashley Page: No care is far better than receiving care at the Wyoming VA. I could write a book on all the terrible occurrences I’ve had at this facility. These Doctors have to be in their first year of their medical schooling with how incompetent they are. I don’t even understand how they could be board certified. You’ll get better answers from Google.
Roger Doctor: I needed to have my new glasses adjusted so I drove from Muskegon. I checked in and waited and waited. After an hour I went back up to the check in station. They said I should have been seen a long time ago but now everyone was at lunch so it would be at least 40 more minutes. I was already going to be late for a meeting back in Muskegon so I had to leave. 100 miles of driving and an hour wasted and no service
David Arm: It is very difficult for me to get out there. Can someone please help me with transportation problems???
Donald Mays: Although there are a lot of clinics I would not recommend I do recommend this clinic staff gets it done right
Sharaya Wood: It’s hit or miss on staff. Typically if they’ve served themselves then they genuinely care and work hard to solve your problems. IF they answer the phones, often I make the 45 min drive to speak to someone face to face to have to do all the footwork to solve the issues! Often the drs and nurses will work hard for a short period and then pass the buck on to specialty clinics. (I am on my second Pact team due to the first mixing my paperwork multiple times.) Once you’ve entered the specialist departments you’re lost to a system that doesn’t even care if you exist. And don’t get me started on community care! And the pharmacy! Ask about the woman’s health center in MI. There is only one. Good luck ladies. We have to continue to fight on the home front. This is a joke of healthcare.
Elle gabriel: While I served and was exposed to so much that I'm supposed to get "free" medical now, but I can't enter the VA unless I play the mask and glove game and answer stupid questions about fevers.... move on. Quit pedaling fear.
Vance vanWieren: A couple of years back in January during my yearly physical the Doctor left the room and said the nurse will be in shortly. The bottom line is everyone went home and left me sitting in the exam room. The hall was dark and I had to almost break out the side door of the Cafeteria as the main entrance was blocked off. So on July 28th 2022 I had my yearly physical and told the doctor of a problem and the symptoms. He did not list it in the exam summary. August 29th. I called and talked to the nurse and told her the problem was worse, the symptoms and what I was doing to take action against it. She said they would get back to me and it might take a couple of days. 8 days later on September 6th I called back and left a message with telling her all of the symptoms and of the worsening I had reported to the nurse. On September 19th 2022 I called the Patient Advocate and told her Red team had forgotten me and thrown me under the bus. She called back on September 20th and said they would call me the next day September 20st. Wrong !!! They called back on the 23rd. so the VA 's 2 days turned out to be 25 days as they were nudged by the P A, no apology for forgetting me, she then said I should have called back again and had 1 bit of advice for my problem and would maybe get a referral and what I had been self medicating with was not a good idea. I've had some wonderful treatment from the Wyoming VA but need to know how to make a formal complaint to wake up the slackers.
Anthony Stark: They should fire the person who hired everyone here. And then rehire and train everyone on respect and professionalism. It's very sad to see a healthcare facility doing the opposite of what it should be doing. I now choose civilian doctors and pay out of my own pocket rather than go to any VA facility especially this one. The doctor's literally look at a computer the whole time, nod and not talk, like they are trained to be that way. If you ask them a question they will literally ignore you. I'm 39 100% disabled was in the Army for 8 years and this place disgusts me.
richard halifax: Everyone has went out of their way to take care of my needs. Always helpful, always with a smile and best of all always on time.
J Coop-Klamer: Can't praise them enough! Always Great Medical care and awesome staff.
trish bloss: This is the only clinic my veteran husband has been to, outside of battle creek for c&p exams. He's gotten better treatment here than any civilian care. Most civilian doctors don't fully understand what veterans deal with, his team here does. His doctor was a bit judgmental the first time seen. 2nd visit I went in with him and re-educated the doctor that he was paid to care for and treat him, not judge him and stop assuming he "hurts himself " because of rashes and bleeding sores from his jp5 and crude oil exposure. Now he's a better doctor to my disabled husband. Also, we have never waited more than 12 minutes to be called back with nurse. Not a long wait for pharmacy either.
beth tippet: federal run facility that is NOT client supportive
Karen Robinson: Yesterday June 1st 2022 I saw a man walk a pony out of the clinic to a car in the parking lotCan someone very yes thats what i saw. My brother who goes to the clinic doesn't believeMe. The pony had a blue service vest on too
Amy Jo: I love this VA system!!
SMILEY!: VA Health Care Stinks These Days! DOCTORS LIE TO YOU ABOUT YOUR HEALTH PROBLEM'S SO VA DOESN'T HAVE TO PAY TO CARE FOR YOU! IT'S DISGUSTING THE WAY WE HONORABLE VETERANS ARE TREATED! 💔☹️🤮 🙏🍀🗽🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘🆘
Shirley Badger: My spouse is a disabled Vet who has appointments there sometimes and he does have a wsit to get in to see his practitioner. Most of the people who wirks there are friendly people and many where Veterans too.
