Myrà Jeter: Beef pho #9 is my favoriteGreat price and great service
PHONG NGUYEN: It was an decent experience. I was in town for work and craving for some Pho. I ended up eating Bun Bo Hue. I didn’t expect as much knowing this is populous Viet community. They always have 50% discount for Pho but price was changed accordingly so wouldn’t make a big difference. I got bananas deep fried as desert and it was decent. Again, if you just want something Viet like come here and don’t expect as much ok. I am from Texas so food are mush nicer. 😂
Rebecca Barrett: Very disappointed in the quality of beef this time. Way too much fat on it that I had to peel off, and the broth was too greasy.

Whitney Aleese: PHO ANN TRANGS IS THE TRUTH! Don’t bother peeping any other pho in GR. This is the one to go to. Super fast. Super friendly. Their mint leads are out of this world. I swear they must have plants in the back. So fresh!!! The jalapeños are everything. The portions are ridiculous for only $10. I will eat this everyday and die happy. Thank you for existing and being apart of my life. Let’s go get pho!

Donna High: I recently ordered take out from this restaurant and became violently ill with food poisoning. I’m a type 1 diabetic with a depressed immune system. I ran a high fever for a day with chills and am doing better now but not back to normal. This place should be reported to the health department. My son and his wife became sick too after we all ate the meal. I’d advise you to think twice before eating here. We paid 80 dollars to become very ill. There was nothing special about the food either. Do not get the pad Thai!

Pho Soc Trang: what do users think?
Elissita Mendez: I genuinely feel soo bad for anyone who thinks the food here is good. The service was poor. The place was not clean. There were boxes everywhere, the bathroom was nothing but wet paint with NO SIGNS. NO WARNINGS. But the worst part was that it smelled like raw fish in the restaurant. The egg rolls, we’re not egg rolls. I’m not sure what they were. It looked like wanna be mini fajitas. They staff was so rude, when we said we no longer wanted to order they got very mean & basically told us we now had to take everything to go. They slammed things. The pho had a smell that should not be associated with pho. I lived in Asia and know what Pho should look and smell like. Pho that’s GREY should not be consumed by a human. Let alone the terrible smell that came with it.All around awful experience. Would never go back. Would never recommend.

Nancy Lucas: First time eating here, the beef pho was amazing! Also had the egg rolls, very good 👍 will definitely be back here again soon!
Olivia Cain: I ordered the vegetable pho and it definitely gave me food poisoning. lol
Van Dang: I have been here 6 or 7 times in the last two years (I live 2 hours away) and everything I've had is authentic. I usually eat a noodle plus have a take away. They have all my favorite food that I used to get from home in Texas. Really, just pick a new item every time you come here. The pho is is great but they have lots of noodles that you don't find elsewhere.Quick, friendly and nonfussy services.

Tyler Smith: Food is incredible, but make sure you pay in cash or get a receipt. I ordered 2 bowls of beef noodles ($16 each roughly) and fried dumplings ($9) plus the credit card tax they charge it should have been around $43. I was charged $68.47, so I can only assume they charged me for something I didn't order.Edit: the person working admitted it was a mistake and refunded the correct about
j.j. bobasho: Hands down the best pho in town (and yes I'm a bit of a pho-natic so I've actually tried as many phos as I could find in town). A bit out of the way (I live in downtown Grand Rapids and this is way south near 44th) still I'll eat here often this spring and summerParking: Wheelchair accessible parkingWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible
Mario C: This place is the best pho I've ever had. I always get the #14 it has the best mix of all the beef parts. I've been to 5 different places and their pho is the best. Monsoon GR: what do users think?
Rebecca Irby (PEAC Institute): Absolutely delicious! There was three of us and each of our meals were so different from each others but looked, smelled and most importantly tasted amazing!
tegurley11: Something special going here. Fantastic
Bryn Perkins: Yummy food and drink, our server was super kind and friendly.
Cynthia Pollet: First time here! Had an amazing experience. The atmosphere was pleasant, service exemplary, food delish!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Roxanne Vanderroer: They were out of a lot of items and we waited an hour to get our food. We had a very pleasant wait person but a very long wait for our food.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Bethany Disher: I’m sitting here at the table writing this because it is stupid how good this food is. The most phenomenal meal I’ve had.
Angela R: Good but not great. Yelp reviews were very misleading. The atmosphere was nice but not elegant. Outdoor dining was more appropriate for sandwiches and not a $30+/plate dinner. The waiter took our order and disappeared until it was time to order dessert - which we did not. The food did not taste fresh or homemade at all. The steak was good, thankfully. I would only recommend if you are not familiar with fine dining or authentic Vietnamese cuisine.
Meredith Lawson: First time here, loved it! Food and drinks were excellent! Quickly jumped to the top of our list of favorites in GR!Food: 5/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pho …More
Shasta H-I: We had the banh bao, crispy pork belly Brussels, and the octopus. Portions were similar to tapas. Very, very small. Smaller than a standard appetizer for all, including the main course of octopus. Each bao had one piece of pork belly that filled about half the bun. I will say, the flavors were excellent. But at $12 for two pieces -yikes. Same for the octopus, incredible flavor, but only a few bites for $16. The Brussel sprouts portion was a little larger -about the standard size of a side portion -and they were cooked PERFECTLY. This said, there were only 3 TINY pieces of pork belly (the size of an eraser on the end of a pencil). It’s more appropriate, perhaps, to say they were fried in pork belly fat. Saying there is pork belly in the dish is incredibly misleading. Again, flavor profile was amazing -but we will not return because of the price in relation to portion. Portions weren’t just small, they were remarkably tiny.
Daniel B: The food was good, but the portions were ridiculous for the price. Ordered the octopus, got 2 little tentacles, the pork belly and sprouts were nothing more than a bunch of sprouts with a couple of tiny bits of pork belly. Not ordering again.
Aaron Offringa: Everything was absolutely fantastic. The What the Pho tacos were out of this world.
Trent McGuffey: Stockton for lunch and was delightfully surprised at how nice the small restaurant is. Great menu.Kid-friendliness: I saw small children with their parents in the restaurant having meals. Still a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.Parking: I had to park at a metered spot on the street. Was not easy to find a spot. There may be a parking garage nearby but I do not know if there is or not.
Drew Looyenga: If you live in GR and you haven't been to Monsoon yet, then you should feel a sense of deep, deep shame. The food is phenomenal. You literally can't go wrong. Go for lunch. Go for dinner. Get a fried rice bowl. Get a Bahn Mi. Get Pho. Get a mocktail made with fresh fruit and honey. Enjoy the superb ambiance and a staff that is clearly well trained and enjoys working there. Immediately upon arriving, you will get a sense that everyone in this place is distinctly aware that it is awesome.Parking might suck as Monroe Center often does. Just a heads up if you're driving.
Kenneth Vaow: Went in when they did their tasting menu, and have been back multiple times since. The food is top notch, the service is fantastic and whenever I am in the mood for something new and different this is where I head. The combination of flavors in each dish is where it’s at! Working on making my way through the entire menu!
David N: Food quality seems to be inconsistent. Both times I’ve visited I’ve ordered the Bun Bo Hue. First instance was VERY good. Their broth which takes 24 hours had great flavor and depth to it. You could tell that it took all day to make. They didn’t have pork rib meat for this time I visited but they were kind enough to sub it out with the sliced beef from their pho dish. All the other meats like the pork sausage and trotter was great. The second time however was a huge disappointment. I asked if this time if they had the rib meat this time for the Bun Bo and the waitress said they did so I wanted to give it a try again with all the correct fixings. To my surprise this instance had hardly any meat at all. I would say it had a couple shavings of pork meat from the rib and it was mostly thinly sliced pork sausage. The trotter was not even there and the broth tasted very watered down with some heavy fish sauce flavoring. It didn’t have that rich meaty taste to the broth.I will say the first instance when I didn’t have the ribs the owner came up to our table to let us know that it didn’t have that cut and if I was okay with the substitute. The second instance I don’t remember seeing him there so maybe he wasn’t working that day and so that’s why the food didn’t taste so great? I’m willing to give this place another chance. I love good Vietnamese food. I’m just hoping that they can fix quality issues if the owner isn’t working that day. The both times I’ve visited was on a Friday. The photo was from our second visit.Third times a charm! In the second photo you can see that I did come in for my third bowl of Bun Bo Hue. And I must say this is what I’ve been waiting for. It had a huge beef rib along with all the other fixings. Broth was flavorful and a little spicy. Just like it should be. Get it if you’re a pho lover but want a little more of a beefy spicy broth that has different cuts of meats. The owners kept their word and I’ll be back for more!
Leanne Bauer: Very cute decor, excellent service, and even better food!!!
Tod Bauer: Excellent food & service!
C. P.: Service, atmosphere, and presentation were nice. But on the other hand, the food leaves much to be desired.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Emily Nowlan: Excellent food and service! The octopus appetizer was amazing, as was the spicy beef noodle soup.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pho Bo, Bun Bo Hue Spicy Beef Noodle Soup Dietary restrictions accommodated Vegan …More
Christopher Parish: The food and the hospitality were a 10 out of 10, nice and easy background music, EXCELLENT environment. We had the egg rolls, trout, salad and rice wraps.Amazing! certainly will be back.We travel, we are picky and weigh our options, MONSOON did not disappoint.

Patrick Sweeney: IMO, this is the best pho in town. It’s all in the broth, and these folks have nailed it. Can’t comment on the non-pho items on the menu, since we never get them. The apps are fine, nothing special. But if you like pho, definitely give Asian Palace a shot.
Joe Jones: Loved this place. Pho was awesome and now my girlfriend’s favorite Pho place.
Kenneth Howe: Asian Palace Restaurant is my #2 go-to location for Pho. What I love most about the Pho is that this restaurant, in my opinion, has the best tasting rare steak and brisket ingredients for Pho. A different restaurant is my #1 for broth. Instead of saying this is my #2 spot, maybe I should say it's my shared #1 spot in West Michigan for Phi Tai Gao. The Pho is delicious, very well prepared, and satisfying! You can't go wrong here. The fresh Vietnamese spring rolls are also expertly prepared with my preferred go-to side of fish sauce for dipping. I highly recommend checking this restaurant out and giving their Pho a chance.
白君德: Great affordable Vietnamese restaurant. Nice and friendly waiters. Great value for food of this quality.Recommended dishes 36 Bun DAC Biet, Rare Beef Pho 5 …More
Tan Vo: Most delicious Vietnamese food so far. My favorite dishes are: Bun Dac Biet (Special vermicelli) or Com Dac Biet (Special Rice). Huge and flavorful portion. Also accept takeout with big orders. The Vietnamese grocery store next door should be checked out as well with fresh veggies and meat.
H J: Ok here goes! We live in Cascade and I WILL drive all the way to Asian Palace for my Pho and Lo Mein!!! The food is ALWAYS Awesome and Hot! Even when I get take out like today, I NEVER Get ALL the way back home and don’t have accommodations etc. the staff takes extra care to make sure everything is wrapped properly. I used to live in So Cal so yes the Pho is on POINT!!!! Wither dine in or take out you won’t be DISAPPOINTED!!!!Enjoy 😉
Jose Rodriguez: I’m not basing this review on the food as we never got to eat.We had a party of seven on a Wednesday afternoon. Our issue is that when we got there, 3/7 of the party to get the table and settle down, the server/host immediately had a different attitude when we mentioned we were waiting on more. He said he could not sit us together and would have to separate our table because he was alone. Mind you the restaurant was empty besides two other tables, which had 5+ at each! We put the tables together ourselves as we weren’t going to order without them and upon this the server/host approached us telling us he didn’t want us together because it was too much for him. Despite having two other tables with more customers than us. I don’t know what exactly made us stand out from the other two tables, I’d hate to think it was discriminatory towards my family. He did mention one of the tables called ahead, but we never saw that we had to call ahead for dinner. I understand he was alone, but that can’t possibly be our fault for wanting to enjoy some food here. It left us wondering why we were called out for having a party of 5+ and others didn’t, left Instead of making him more unhappy, not knowing what service he would’ve given.
sindi Aleman: One of the best Pho Restaurants I have tried. The place does not look very nice from outside but from inside is nice and the food is delicious. Service is good.

Good prices (especially compared to some restaurants that way overcharge for a bowl of Pho), and their other noodle dishes (dry or soup) are also quite tasty. The outside doesn’t look like much, but the inside is clean and the service is pretty friendly.
Emily: Some of the best Pho I’ve had in my lifetime. Egg rolls and spring rolls were so so good as well, the owners and workers are so friendly. 10/10 recommend to anyone that lives here in the area or is passing through! Best Pho spot in Grand Rapids, MI!

Maybe you won't: It's pretty chilly inside, and there is a strong smell of incense.Could be better: Drinks weren't refilled. It's a little difficult to know what comes with each menu item, some things are served before dinner without explanation. (We found dishes served before our meal were for dipping or to pour over our meals, not soup.) No directions about how to pay. (I eventually went to the counter to pay.)

Andrew Jackson: First time trying Vietnamese food since I left NYC. Wasn’t sure what to try so I asked the chef to give me his recommendation. The pho was amazing and the shrimp fried rice was perfect. If there was a 6th star to give I would.
Daniel Theiss: The Stir-Fry Rice Noodles are wonderful - the taste is reminiscent of Fried Rice, but so much better. Their Vietnamese Iced Coffee (with condensed milk, I think) is very strong, sweet, and has great flavor; you could mix in some water/milk to mellow it out if desired.A great place whose menu I hope to further explore. No online ordering currently, so the options are either dine-in or call/walk-in to place a takeout order.

Dawn Nguyen: I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Vietnamese restaurant and I must say, the pho was absolutely amazing! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with the warm and inviting aroma of the broth simmering on the stove. Friendly staff! But let's talk about the pho. The broth was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices and herbs. The noodles were perfectly cooked and the meat was tender and juicy. The dish was served with a generous amount of fresh herbs and bean sprouts, which added a refreshing crunch to each bite. What really set this pho apart from others I've had was the attention to detail. The broth was not too salty or greasy, and the meat was of high quality. The restaurant also offered a variety of condiments, including hoisin sauce and sriracha, which allowed me to customize the flavor to my liking.Overall, I highly recommend this Vietnamese restaurant for their amazing pho. It's clear that the chefs take pride in their craft and are dedicated to providing a truly authentic dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes!

The table before us had no food either, so after 20 minutes of no service and a cold, dirty restaurant, we left. Never going back.Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More

Joseph Meyer: Their food is fantastic, anytime I’m in the area I stop here.
Kenneth Howe: In my opinion, Golden 28 has the best tasting Pho broth I've ever had. I have had Pho at several different restaurants around Michigan and some and other States. No one has beaten Golden 28 for broth. While I may like specific things about other restaurants, Goolden 28 is my go-to, number one place for Pho. My usual order is Pho Tai, Ga (rare steak and chicken). I always order fresh spring rolls with fish sauce for dipping and they've always been expertly prepared. I have never had a bad experience here. I highly recommend checking them out. The owners have always been very friendly and kind. This has been a go-to place for work lunches as well as family dinners. I have tried other dishes at their recommendation, probably because after 24 or so visits of nothing but Pho they wanted me to expand my dinner options. The rice plates, fried rice noodle bowls, like Singapore rice noodles with chicken, have always been delicious.Features: Patrons are allowed to self-distance at their desire. The seating is not marked off. All staff are wearing masks. Seating is well cleaned between visiting guests.
Shelby Amato: Really great Pho!
Dominic Flores: Heard really good things but this place is sorry. I ordered the lo mein and got chow mein, and that didn’t even taste good.
Sandra Herrera: I haven't been to Golden 28 in years, but I used to come all the time. From the various pho restaurants I have been to in GR, Golden 28 has some of the best tasting pho. Broth had flavor, veggies were fresh, and noodles were not over cooked. Is it better than homemade? No. However, it will satisfy your pho craving. I also got the Vietnamese eggrolls. I requested the peanut sauce to dip them in. They were good. Overall, my experience at Golden 28 was good.
K B: Pho is great! Best layers of flavor
orlando mosqueda: Best Asian food in town. It's a must if in the area.
Maria H: I dont know what everyone is talking about but I tried this place recently and we spend 35.00 total nothing had any flavor its like they did not Season anything I wanted to call up there because i feel like i paid so much that the taste and Portions of food wernt fair i will not be returning. More rice and broccoli in the fotos then chicken.
Binh Ha: They have so many stuff on the menu. Food is delicious! Good services. Would definitely come back to try more things.
Devyn Williams: Food is excellent! Made from scratch and delicious. Next time we come back we will definitely be making this place our first stop!
Jann Twork: The Pho is so good, fresh vegetables, and the tofu added in made it great. Could only eat half of it, the rest was my dinner that night. Can't wait to go back!!
