Lynsey Mukomel: We’ve been married a year now and still talk about how hiring Best Day and Molly was the best thing we did to make our wedding less stressful! If you’re type A (like myself) and don’t want a full coordinator, this is absolutely the way to go. They will help you build a day-of plan and be there to execute everything from the rehearsal on. TRUST ME, you don’t want to be worried about moving decorations, sticking to schedule or wondering which relative will have a last minute request on your special day. This is money well spent!
Monica McChesney: As a Type A, very organized person I didn’t think I needed a wedding coordinator. However, we met with a few anyway just to get a feel and the moment we met Megan we were sold. Her personality is so warm and encouraging and her attention to detail is unmatched. We expected some hiccups the day of but we didn’t have a single one because Megan did such an incredible job of planning, communicating, and making things happen even when I didn’t give her direction. I cannot overstate just how relaxed and not stressed I was on our wedding day and that is all thanks to Megan. I will continue to recommend Megan and Best Day Details as they were so easy to work with and helpful. We also rented the Photo Booth from them and I’m still getting texts a week later from guests about how much they loved it. Of all the vendors we booked, this was the most worth it, bar none. Consider this your nudge you needed to book Best Day Details - you will not regret it!!

Kate & Nate Moore: Having Kasey helping with our wedding was one of the best things!! To not have to worry about those little details and have peace of mind knowing that she was helping it all run smoothly was so worth it. Kasey is so personable and pays attention to even the smallest details. We had an outdoor wedding and barn reception and she directed everyone where they needed to be. She worked meticulously on the day of to make sure we had 0 stress. People always say “something will inevitably go wrong at your wedding and you just have to push through it.” Not with Emily. We had 0 issues and she made sure everyone had happy, where they needed to be, and stuck to our very strict timeline of events. We gush whenever we talk about her, she really was the biggest asset to make our wedding happen. Everyone in our wedding party (most of whom are married) applauded Emily and her effort and noted they’d wish they had someone like that at their own wedding! Monica C: I got married a year ago and so happy I found them! I always recommend The Best Day Details when I hear someone getting married. Getting a day of coordinator is a great investment. I felt at ease with my family, in laws, and bridal party. People were pleasantly surprised that didn’t have to help set up or put things away. Everyone was able to truly enjoy the day with us and that was important to me. Emily was my go to for our wedding and she did amazing. I had my wedding at Baker Lofts in Holland and she even picked up our dessert in Grand Rapids, Beltline area! Also grabbed our lunch and brought it to us! I had one mishap, my circle arch for our ceremony did not arrive from a vendor. Emily was ready to go out to a store to find me a replacement! I decided no to that with it being winter and she was already running around. Instead she somehow got my flowers and cloth up around the windows we were getting married. It was beautiful. Shannon Kelly: Monica was an absolute LIFESAVER regarding our wedding. She was so helpful in the meeting leading up to our day, and asked so many questions I wouldn't have even considered.The set up and clean up of our wedding was so important, because we didn't want family to have to do anything - and Monica and her assistants handled it all!We also had a bartending issue that had me nearly in tears, and Monica took it over and really helped push everything along so that I could enjoy my day. That was my experience working with Maggie and her assistant yesterday from The Best Day Details for Alayna and Johnny! They made the process so seamless and friendly so that I, as the photographer, could do my job and just focus on my creativity for my couple. Maggie made sure to connect with me prior to the wedding, made sure to greet me at the start of the day, made sure to check-in with me throughout the day, didn't super-impose any timeline on me that didn't reflect what I had already discussed with the couple, didn't tell me how to do my own job better (so refreshing), and then sent me off with making sure I got the sweet tip from the married couple at the end of the night. I was not the kind of bride who particularly enjoyed the wedding planning process, but the meetings with Hannah helped to keep my husband and I organized and reassured that we were on the right track. Madeline Kramp: Emma did a great job helping us have a fantastic wedding. Her and her assistant set up and took down all the decor for us and took care of any issues that arose (I not even sure there were any). She was very helpful in creating the time line and ensuring we did not forget anything. Being a very organized, type A person I do feel I didn't need the assistance until the actual day of, so it seemed a little pricy for me for not taking advantage of the meetings, vendor sourcing/management etc. Great company, I just wish there was a lower tier package that may have been better suited for my needs
Lindsay Levita: Booking Best Day Details was honestly the best decision we made in the planning for our October wedding in Michigan. Our venue was not a typical wedding venue and didn't have as much support as a venue geared towards weddings / events typically has. Luckily Best Day Details was available for our day and we were paired with Elysia. The fact that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and went off without a hitch is 100% because of Elysia and her assistant Trisha. Elysia worked with me in the months leading up to the wedding to ensure we had a fool proof timeline. She was calm, confident, and took charge while still being so kind!!! Every idea I had for my wedding was met with a "Can do" attitude. Elysia was there for the rehearsal dinner, the day of, breakdown, and even helped with picking up our brunch the next day. I can't recommend Elysia, Trisha and Best Day Details enough. If you're considering a wedding planner or on the fence about Best Day Details, STOP. They are the best, worth every penny and will no doubt be the reason you're able to sit back and enjoy your day.

I also had Caitlin assisting for the day and she was also amazing in every way! I showed up at our venue after getting first look photos done and I was in disbelief of how perfect everything was set up. We had a lakeside backyard wedding and all that was set up ahead of time was tent, tables, and chairs. They did EVERYTHING and I could not be happier with the results. The timeline of the day was also perfect thanks to Elysia. I had no timeline at first & she took care of it all. Elysia was incredible to work with and was so thorough and supportive throughout the entire experience. I also rented the photo booth for our wedding day and I HIGHLY suggest it! Meghan Herrington: Upon getting engaged in mid-2020, I hired Lauren to help me with an edesign for our wedding, as well as serve as our month/day-of coordinator. When we had to shift our wedding from October 2021 to October 2022 due to COVID, she was more than flexible and understanding.On the edesign, my vision shifted greatly over the two and a half years I was engaged as trends changed (and simply my mind did, too) but Lauren’s efforts helped me greatly in creating a starting place for deciding what we did and didn’t want for the look and feel of our big day. I was so glad to find her and this service as it was exactly what I felt like I needed as an overwhelmed bride planning all of the nitty gritty details myself without a design vendor (simply wasn’t in the budget). Something else that was just invaluable was being able to let go and be present on my wedding day, knowing Lauren and her assistant had everything handled as it related to set up and tear down of everything I dreamt up.Lastly, it came to coordination and planning, her vendor recommendations were always well-appreciated, especially as we live in Chicago and aren’t nearly as familiar with the area. For everything else leading up to our wedding day, Lauren met me where I was at with planning and details, which is saying a lot as I am pretty particular. She helped me where and when I needed it, and respected my preferences in other circumstances.
EMMA JACOBSON: I don't even know where to begin -- Lauren played such a HUGE part in making our big day run smoothly! I am not much of a planner, so I hired Lauren to help create our design plan and do our month-of coordination. She took my scatter-brained Pinterest vision and turned it into reality. She helped with ordering everything that we needed and did an amazing job setting everything up on the day of the wedding. She was organized, punctual, and an amazing communicator. She literally gave birth during the wedding-planning process and STILL did not skip a beat when it came to helping us get things ready for the big day. Lauren is SO committed to her job and she is so dang good at it. On the day of the wedding, Lauren set everything up, communicated with all of the vendors, and even took the time to listen to my husband's vows before the ceremony because he was nervous. After the wedding, she had a professional artist draw us a picture of my wedding bouquet with the date of our wedding on it. I cannot recommend Lauren enough. She is the absolute best at what she does!

Lauren Gabel: We hired Lauren a monthish before our wedding was to take place on 4/18/2020. It truly was the best thing that we could have done for our wedding and all that was to come with the pandemic putting a wrench in our plans. Lauren helped in communicating with all the vendors through at least three date changes, participated in meetings with all vendors once our final date was set, and was also such a source of calm and comfort throughout the entire process. She is truly a professional in every sense of the word and made sure that throughout replanning and rescheduling a wedding through Covid, I felt like a bride. On top of this amazing support is also Lauren's impeccable style and taste. If I could do the day over again, I would have her touch every single element. Her insta is a testament to the artists eye she brings to her work. Emily Magyar: Kelly and her ABU team were invaluable in our wedding, from planning to execution! She takes as much (or little) direction as you give her, returns a look and feel true to you and your partner and then goes above and beyond to bring it to life. ABU can truly creatively solve any problem or hurdle that comes up along the way.I felt very fortunate to not feel an ounce of stress leading up to and on our wedding weekend and I owe a big portion of that to Kelly and her team for making the planning process and wedding so seamless and personal. There's nothing she and her team can't do!

I was worried to do a smaller wedding that it wouldn’t feel like the day was as special but leave it to Kelly to make this into the most magical day for my husband and I! She went above and beyond with coordinating all of the rentals, photographer, set up and break down, and every single detail in between. We ran into rainy weather the morning of the ceremony and had to switch plans up which Kelly did without a hitch and I never would have known we had other plans. All of the table decor, flower arrangements, and room set up were exactly perfect for what we wanted. I couldn’t have asked for a more effortlessly, stress-free day for my wedding, all thanks to Kelly and all buttoned up events.

The remaining (and countless) tasks of the wedding planning process was handled, professionally and graciously, by Kelly and Team.From our planning phone sessions, to our vendor and venue visits, I felt completely supported by Kelly and Team. Our wedding took place in Northern Michigan, which required multiple weekend trips to finalize plans, of which I assumed we would go alone and provide back our notes. Not the case. Floral visit, Kelly had already sent my requests and vision to the team, so that during our meeting, we were able to gawk at beautiful florals, and have fun together.If there was ever a moment of uncertainty in these meetings, I would look to Kelly, and she knew what to do. The sense of relief we felt by having Kelly and Team there every step of the way, I can tell you with total certainty, is the only reason we were able to ENJOY the planning process, as opposed to feeling stressed and overwhelmed. All Buttoned Up Events' services was a gift from my family, to which I hope I can gift to someone I love in the future, as I now know first-hand what a gamechanger it was. Adam Richmond: My wife and I just got married on December 30, 2021 and we selected the full service package through All Buttoned Up Events for the wedding planning/coordination.Our wedding coordinator/planner was Alaina, and she was amazing! Although she had a busy schedule of other weddings that she was coordinating when we first started working with her, she did an amazing job helping us select vendors, giving us tons of options for all aspects of wedding planning and design, and taking the weight/stress of coordinating everything off of our shoulders.The month prior to our wedding and the wedding day itself is where Alaina and her assistant, McKenzie really shined. Alaina coordinated and led the entire rehearsal at the church and was super helpful with in making sure everyone knew where they needed to be on the day of the wedding during the ceremony. Alaina delivered us breakfast AND lunch to our hotel rooms the morning/afternoon of the wedding, which was incredible. She even bought my wife a margarita to have on the party bus because the venue wasn't able to add tequila to the bar for her drink at the head table. Alaina and McKenzie took care of all of the set up and tear down at the reception (we didn't have to do any of it) and made the day super smooth. She checked in with us regularly, was always available, and always on top of everything. My wife and I literally didn't have to lift a finger the day of the wedding, we were just able to enjoy the day and relax. Alaina and McKenzie took care of everything and made our wedding day the most special day ever. I'm not sure how we would have done it without them.To top it all off, Alaina drove to our house the next day and dropped off our cake, all of the leftover food in nice containers, and all of our gifts for us. We didn't have to clean up anything after the reception or worry about any post wedding tasks. My wife and I left the next morning and had a nice breakfast and just drove back to our house, All Buttoned Up did everything else.From the bottom of our hearts, Alaina and her crew at All Buttoned Up did such an incredible job coordinating and planning our wedding, we really can't thank them enough. I highly recommend using All Buttoned Up for your wedding, whether it is the full package or a smaller package. They will make your day so special. Nicki Krzeminski Lee: Kelly and her team were beyond amazing! We used All Buttoned Up Event’s month-of coordination package to assist with final details and day of help. This was the perfect option for us, as we had all vendors in place and needed help with coordination and making sure we didn’t miss any details. I spoke with Kelly weekly up to the event and any time in between. She always had the answers and went the extra mile to help. She kept us organized and on time the day of the wedding. She did all the behind the scenes work and checked in with the bridesmaids, groomsmen, vendors, and event space throughout the day. I am not sure how people plan a wedding without the help of Kelly and her team. If I could do it again, I would hire them from the beginning of planning. Planning and replanning a wedding during a pandemic is not easy but Kelly and her team eased this anxiety and made the event absolutely perfect. Lauren Ward: Working with the team at Modern Day was an absolute pleasure. Amanda & Jenn are so professional, they know their stuff, and they pulled off the most epic, detailed, weekend ever for us. WENDY MULLAN: Just like the previous client said... I don't even know where to begin...?!? It has been three weeks since my husband and I were married... and I STILL have post wedding blues; and a major reason is because we are no longer planning with Amanda and Jennifer at MDF. From our first meeting to the end of our wedding reception... these two ladies were there every step of the way, along with their amazing team. Amanda and Jennifer are both so passionate about what they do... and they truly want you to have the best wedding ever. My mother and I would sometimes find ourselves tearing up at meetings... because we felt so taken care of. From planning, to setting things up with vendors, to the itinerary of the wedding day... and finally the actual wedding day-everything was organized and perfect. Our reception room was so beautifully done, that it took our breath away! I was speechless for a good 5 minutes, after seeing the room for the first time. Any issues that did occur, were promptly fixed and taken care of. I could go on for hours... It was one of the best decisions to go with MDF, for our wedding. Karen Schultheiss: How can I describe Jen, Amanda, and their team....they were the absolute the best! When my daughter said,"Her wedding was everything she had ever dreamed about and more." I thought, what more could parents ever want for their daughter. I could name many adjectives to describe Jen and Amanda, but I will write just three...professionals, knowledgeable, and creative. This team had less than 6 hours (due to a wedding the night before) to decorate three parts of the venue. The pavilion where dinner was served consisted of farm tables, rounds, and a sweetheart table. The table decorations were breathtaking. The cocktail area where a bar was constructed along with many high tops, was amazing overlooking a lake and listening to a jazz quartet. Lastly, they built a dance floor within a large tent for the band. The florals, greenery, and chandeliers hanging from the draped ceiling were totally unique and beautiful. This was nothing the venue had ever done before and they were a little hesitant at the beginning about it, but I heard from many of the venue staff that it was the most beautiful and unique set-up they had ever had there! The venue itself had gorgeous landscaping, but when adding Jenn and Amanda's skills they created the PERFECT setting for a reception. It has been the talk of everyone who attended and from those that have seen pictures. It was quite the let down after it all came to an end, but all of our memories will last a lifetime! THANK FOR EVERYTHING and WE will keep in touch:)

Rebecca Olson: I cannot say enough about Nicole and the Elegant Events team. Working together was the best decision we made surrounding our wedding! Elegant Events is organized, professional, trustworthy and amazingly creative and resourceful.We recently held our outdoor wedding at a private residence in South Haven and enlisted Elegant Events to help with day-of coordination. However, I felt like that term does not do all the work that they did justice. From the get-go, they were flexible and accomodating to our unique needs. Elegant Events brought our wedding vision to life - better than I even imagined my wedding day would be.I thought I was organized, but became so much more confident and calm during the planning process after working through our wedding day plan with Elegant Events. Nicole asked questions I hadn't even thought about and had great solutions. She came up with a flow for our ceremony to cocktail area and reception tent so that I could easily guide our rental vendor when they came with our delivery. Heading into the big day, I couldn't have felt more at ease being away at the salon knowing Elegant Events was back at the helm. I felt like I could focus on me and the emotion of the day, not the stress of making sure every detail was set. When I arrived at the venue, ready to dress, I saw that not only was every detail set the way I imagined, but it was perfect and better! Elegant Events created a wedding that several people said was the most beautiful they ever attended. (Literally, our parents received calls for several days after and we heard it there ourselves.) They dressed tables, set out the decor I purchased in creative ways, arranged flowers, guided vendors and most importantly, figured out resourceful ways to maximize our space (by using things from the ceremony later in the reception area, or other cool decor from the yard or home that could double for "beautifying" the tent, etc.).I recommend Elegant Events with my highest regards for yours. Jenna Ellens: Sophie B was our lead for our big day and there are not enough characters provided in this review to fully explain how wonderful she was! She and her assistant Amanda worked well together and did everything in their power to make my vision come to life. They were friendly, confident, professional and organized. Myself, my husband, and our families were able to truly relax and enjoy our big day knowing that Sophie and Amanda were taking care of every detail. They were engaged throughout the entire planning process and were patient with all of my questions, tweaks, and conversation leading up to the day. Our day would not have been the same without Sophie and the Affinity Events team. I couldn't recommend Sophie and Amanda enough to all brides who are hoping for a stress-free and enjoyable experience.

Caitlin and her team were amazing from the first inquiry to wrapping up at the end of the wedding night. Working with a venue that had a very tight timeline, they ensured setup, flipping the space, and tear down all went smoothly. They made sure things were set up correctly and tore down everything and packed them away into designated cars. They even ensured our hoop arch was transferred from the church to the venue and set up nicely again. They made sure to watch time, so we could get everything we wanted to do done. We literally didn’t have to worry about anything because of you girls working so hard behind the scenes. You all made this experience truly amazing. We will forever remember you. Literally, this is the place to choose if you want to enjoy your wedding day! They get it done !
Jennifer Zuazo: We hired Affinity Events as Day-Of-Coordinators for our wedding and they were AMAZING!!! I knew there was no way we could enjoy our wedding day if we were worried about setting up, coordinating vendors and attempting to follow a timeline by ourselves. Even though Affinity was our “Day-of” Coordinators, they were involved from the time we hired them. Alex went out of her way to help me secure chargers at a more affordable cost, and even offered to pick them up from the rental company (to make life easier for us)! Alex was in contact with all of my vendors in the weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure a timeline was created and that it would work for all vendors (making sure everyone was on the same page). Both Alex and Sophie are super professional and clearly have experience! They set up all of our wedding items perfectly (and there were quite a lot (as we had an outdoor wedding where EVERYTHING needed to be brought in). Not only was my checklist followed, but they made sure to keep us on track with our timeline, helped us and our guests with whatever we needed throughout the day and night, and made sure important moments (like the 1st dance, cake cutting and sparkler exit) ran smoothly. Sophie even ran down to inform the trio that they were playing the incorrect processional song, the groom said he didn’t even notice the swift change. Also, don’t sleep on their tear-down service (all of our items were loaded into our car/trailer and important items made it safely back to our room). Even before leaving for the night (and it was late) they made sure to stop by and congratulate us and let us know they were departing. Affinity events was one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding day and I would 100% recommend them again and again!!! Thank you so much to Alex and Sophie for making our wedding day even more perfect!!!

I have been in many weddings so have learned from experience of how stressful it can be for everyone when you ask your wedding party to help set things up the day of the wedding. I knew for our wedding, I wanted a day-of-coordinator to handle day-of-coordination and it was probably THE BEST decision we made. Alex helped with the rehearsal and was in contact with all of our vendors (about 12 of them) to make sure everything went according to plan and things were on schedule. She also set everything up perfectly, so much so that when I saw our venue for the first time I balled my eyes out from how beautiful it was. When COVID came and we had to change things it was extremely stressful, but Alex and Caitlin worked with me to inform guests of changes and reducing the size of our wedding celebration. We ended up moving location, changing decor several times, and having to switch some vendors out and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. These ladies go above and beyond for you, when our shuttle didn't arrive to return us to the hotel at the end of the night, they drove us and several members of our bridal party back to the hotel, again they are amazing. They cleaned up, set up, and handled every last detail for us. You will not regret hiring them from the start of your planning.
