He explained the various products and their differences in detail to help me and my husband pick out our boards. Every product seems to be of excellent quality, and the natural bamboo aesthetic is totally superior to the ubiquitous brightly colored kayaks/SUPs everywhere else. The SUPs and paddles we bought are smooth and straightforward forward to use - it makes me feel like an experienced paddler already, just one week in! Isaac even helped load and safely strap our purchases onto my car for the one hour trip home. And he didn’t let us leave without some free swag!! I cannot recommend this brand more highly! 11/10

J S: Austin and Isaac have both been amazing as I took possession of our Utility Dock XL and Portage Hybrid paddle board/kayak board! I will say the hand pump (I didn't have a helper for the two ports) with the XL was a great workout and I would definitely consider an epump, but why not get those reps in while inflating your fun water toy?? Everyone has been great and my family is freaking out to come to the lake every chance they get to try out our new stuff. Thank you for actually CARING about your customers. And can I say A+ to your video on what happens when your pressure relief valve turns up off kilter at first try: the PERFECT how-to video, no blah blah, no marketing, just clear and clearly demonstrated steps. You NAILED it, and everything so far.

He knows his products and has numerous times stayed open when I was running late to pick up my kayak & sup. Then when I asked to change my sup paddle for a kayak paddle, he did so without hesitation. This alone is reason to go through Paddle North than other retailers. He built the brand in the area to be well trusted.

After shopping for their boards online it was so nice to be able to walk in and talk to someone in person. The service was great and the gentleman was very accomidating to my requests. In addition to their boards they also had clothing and outdoor gear. Picked up a waterproof bag and really soft t-shirt as well! Will be back again soon!

Marsh helped us explore canoe options for the family as we are looking to move from our Kayaks into a larger vessel that can accommodate the whole crew. What was originally going to be a quick stop (our first time in the store) turned into an hour conversation with Marsh. He provided us with a wealth of knowledge and personal experiences not only regarding canoes, but several other camping/backpacking tips, tricks, and gear recommendations. We love the store, and Marsh was fantastic. He made us feel at home, which says a lot as we had our overtired 1 year old, and supercharged 3 year old with us. I can tell you, I'll drive right past REI to come see Marsh next time I need hiking shoes, Darn-tough socks, or anything else.
