GRNoir Wine & Jazz: what do users think?
Krystal Hildebrandt: Good food, good drinks. Staff was incredibly attentive. No complaints
Carmen Smith: Wonderful service and great music 🎶
Tam F: Always stop in here for a glass of wine, live music, and nosh.
Clarence: A great vibe and they have good wine and good jazz music
Tyler Lancaster: Just a great atmosphere. You can talk with someone sitting next to you and hear each other. Obviously the place if you want to hear some good music.
Justice Jordan: Horrible service by Felicia
PJ Parker: Great Wine, great food, great music equals Great Vibes! Really enjoyed myself
Genie Grace: A nice, small, intimate atmosphere to enjoy wine and jazz.
Veronica Smith: Very nice atmosphere
joshua haggard: Great experience. Wine is great, music was outstanding with a great atmosphere.
Matt B: Great service and atmosphere! The music was amazing and it was a fantastic way to end the evening!
Charles E Jackson Jr: Amazing atmosphere, food and wine.
Vicki Rodts: Nice place for live jazz music. Make a reservation to ensure you can get in. Wine is pricey and they will add $10pp to your bill for cover charge. Atmosphere is nice for a date or upscale evening.
Samy Morgan: Cool spot right downtown Grand Rapids. Upon initially being seated, the gentleman was a little rude. We were granted a little late for our reservation, which I called ahead about and was told it wasn’t an issue, and he kept pressing the fact that there was a 7:15 reservation. We were under the impression that you could request more time (as their website states) with your server if need be. We ended up splitting a bottle of wine between the table and taking off. Wine was great (they had a HUGE wine list available! Reds, rosé, whites, they had it!) and our actual server was amazing, we just felt like an inconvenience at that point. We will however like to give it another try in the future
steven clark: Absolutely Love this place the food was phenomenal and the atmosphere was wonderful. The wine was also great the owner works there himself and makes sure that everything is top notch most certainly would return
Takisha Johnson: Underwhelming... the food was really good but we came for the jazz. The set was only 30 minutes, they did sound good and we hoped they'd play until closing but that wasn't the case. Had we known, we just wouldn't have come. Lastly service was lacking which we really hoped would be great. I may try again but at the moment I'm disappointed
James Gokee: The atmosphere was amazing. Unique experience but would love to see more jazz Era food options. Beautiful wine flights. Hoping to go again soon with a different perspective.
Sonia Maldonado: Went there tonight paid 20 to hear two jazz songs and 7.00 two hearted beer not sure I would go back
Explore With Steggie: The music was outstanding! The wine was very good. The food menu needs a little improvement. Great location. The atmosphere is nice but I'd like to see it cozied up. More soft surfaces and dim the lights. Again, I will say the wine selection is excellent! Please visit this place. We need them in Grand Rapids. Go for drinks before dinner or go for drinks after dinner.
AJ Piotrowski: The idea is great. The acoustics and volume level was terrible. Not able to communicate with my companion or the bartender. Was really hoping for a nice time. Enjoyed the cocktails and music at Margeaux much more. I would love to give them another chance if the music was adjusted to a more pleasant and relaxed level.
Mya Sullivan: Excellent service, live music & tasty wine options! Very comfortable atmosphere, will be back.

Grand Vin: what do users think?
Melody Hoffer: Great wine selection, and the sommelier is very knowledgeable and helpful! Great place to pick up something special.
Nicole Castro: Friendly, knowledgeable service from the owner. Great wine for a great price! 🍷🍷🍷
Patrick Williams: My wife and I stopped by the shop today. The hubby/wife owner team were amazing, super kind and helped an amateur wine guy learn more about a few different French wines they had open for tasting. I cannot wait to go back and hear more about the very unique wines and much, much more about wine culture. Thank you so much. Love this place.
Rachel Glowski: Stopped in looking for a cab franc and the sommelier was so helpful and friendly. Looking forward to trying the wine he recommended. Looking forward to coming back soon!
Mary: Great wine selection and helpful sommelier! Their wine selection covers many different regions like Napa, France, Spain and more!

House of Wine: what do users think?
Susan E: We sat outside and had a good dinner. The feta dip was really delicious, as was the hummus platter.
Clarence: Food and drinks were good
Sarah H: Wow, what a gem! This place exceeded my expectations. The service, atmosphere, charcuterie and wine were amazing!
Rachel Wright: Had amazing service. Great wine and charcuterie.
Yara Barbosa: I want to highlight how every experience I’ve had at House of Wine over the past few years has been absolutely phenomenal!! They’re a family owned business and Jim, the owner, has been there almost every time I’ve gone, and he’s always hands-on, working and teaching us about wine while answering my millions of questions. The staff is always SO friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. The food is delightfully flavorful, the perfect portions every time, and great selections that are familiar yet sophisticated, and taste authentic and fresh. Of course, the wine selection is superb, but their cocktails are also divine!! I LOVE bringing my friends here!
Corey Tinker: Whenever one of my girlfriend suggests wine flights or grabbing a nice bottle of wine - I suggest here. I LOVE this place! The events they put on are great (just did a candle making class with Aroma Labs which is also in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo)They have a gourmet grilled cheese that is wonderfully seasoned with Rosemary. The service has always been top notch.
Juan Rincones: Loved the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Charcuterie boards are good and the drinks are a great pairing. Overall great experience.
Sarah Till: I keep coming back after my sister brought me for our "Christmas outing" one year. Absolutely love this place!
Doug Higby: We loved the flights of wine to help pick a favorite. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was great. We'll definitely visit again!
Hannah Yoskovich: Get the beer cheese!!
Ashley Stephen: Numerous tasting flights available in a pleasant environment with quality service.
Bradley Villeneuve: The wines I had here were outstanding! The ambiance is very comfortable & fun. Would love to come back, next time I'm in Grand Rapids!
Hannah Weber: Great ambiance and prices are bad. Awesome place!
Funk Monk: Really enjoyed the vibe in here. Will be back.
Kathy Connolly: I brought my group of girlfriends to House of Wine for a tasting with food pairing. Everything about the experience was amazing. Ashley guided us through the tasting process. She was so professional, knowledgeable and patient! Everything tasted wonderful. Congratulations to the owner, Emily Lynch who helped me plan this event. I highly recommend House of Wine for any type of social gathering.
Kayla Benda: The beer cheese is out of this world!
Elizabeth: Loved this place for happy hour! Very nice atmosphere, good menu and music. Danny, our server went the extra mile with recommendations and our request to see the label of the Cabernet we enjoyed. The Cajun crab dip and cheese plate were a perfect combo. At $5 a small plate, you can go wrong. We will be back!
Melody Niese: If I could give more stars I would! The wine list was expertly crafted and had an expansive number of flights. It was well beyond your normal red and white selections. I had a wonderful salad that was fresh, flavorful and beyond what I expected. The woman behind the bar was helpful and friendly.
Joseph Fairchild: Sat down asked for a couple samples as usual, was told a couple dollars for the two small samples; ended up being $5. Then my guest mentioned to me she forgot to ask for a side of the balsamic mustard. Bartender overheard and without asking either of us brought it out as a “hey I overheard you like this with your sandwich” kind of thing and proceeded to charge us for it. Not a huge cost but should definitely be more forward. As a bar manager I would expect better communication from my server in the future.
Lindsey “Linji” Mark: Good wine selections and great service. Did a wine flight with my mom and it was a lot of fun.
Melissa Bedell: One of my favorite spots for a drink and they always have a good charcuterie selection. The flights are great to explore new wines, I've never been disappointed. I love being able to take home a bottle after trying it, Silk and Spice is my go-to but they have a great selection.

Leon & Son Wine Grand Rapids: what do users think?
Mark de Waal: You have a passion for wine. You'll enjoy this place.
Michael Simonelli: The only place I want to get my wine moving forward. Incredible knowledgeable staff with strong recommendations. They even have a $15 and under table! Will be coming here often.
Cody Banody: This was a wonderful place, and I give it the highest recommendation for wines and associated alcohols. I came in New Years Eve looking for a $5 bottle of Andre for mixing with a punch, and I left with two $20 bottles of good quality stuff that more than met my expectations.I walked in, explained my needs, and was met with someone knowledgeable who was able to provide very detailed explanations of a few different sparkling wines of various price points. He was very thorough, brought terminology to my level, and I left very pleased. I'll be coming back for wine recommendations!
Themis Fotieo: I just email Phil that I want a case and all that I tell him is to give me 9 reds and 3 whites with my price point. I leave the rest up to him. I love the adventure. I don't think there is a bad bottle in the place.
Cirsten Main: Great wine and excellent customer service.
Jacob Ungrey: chill spot with a good selection of wine
Kelly Brown: Basically the best place in all of Grand Rapids. The team at Leon and Son are extremely knowledgeable and will meet you where you're at in your wine journey. Great curated selection of wine from across the globe at a variety of price points. My go to spot for gift cards around the holiday season. Everyone should explore more wine!
Russell Platte: New to the wine world, Matt helped us find a bottle we would enjoy. Appreciated the selection of organic and smaller vineyards wines.
Will Petrovic: Takes pandemic precautions seriously and loved knowledge of staff. Picked up 3 unique wines at a reasonable price including a great sparkling wine from my family’s homeland - Slovenia. I will be back!
E Nelson: Very knowledgeable. Great selection. I love the natural wine selection. Cos wine is great
Mitch Ermatinger: This is such a thoughtful and amazing wine shop. You won’t feel intimidated here at all, and you will leave knowing more about wine each and every trip.
Megan Pluymert: 10/10! Love every time I go in. You’re treated like family. And there’s a price point for everyone- not pretentious but still very classy.
S & J: What an amazing addition to Grand Rapids. So incredibly knowledgeable without any of the pretentiousness that can go along with wine. The insightful suggestions and super friendly atmosphere are exactly what we have been missing all this time. Their inventory of biodynamic and natural wine (the way wine was intended to be) is unmatched anywhere in the area.
Ella Ehmann: My goodness. This store is a gem. Phil was so helpful, honest, and insightful on wines- cannot wait to go back (after I drink my wine).
Levi Beach: Best place in Grand Rapids to get wine. Nothing else even comes close.
David Sokolowski: What an awesome wine store! So excited Phil from Russo's is going go be Manager
Shane Nicholson: Incredible store. These guys really know their stuff
Beth Kail: I love stopping in this wine shop. There are so many options from bottles of hand selected wine $15 and under to something really special on the top shelf. There's no need to be intimidated as one of the many knowledgeable staff members will walk along side you to help you select a bottle for any occasion. It's the only place to be buying wine in GR, in my opinion!
David Girolami: A must try!
Tess De Paula: Amazing selection and lovely staff!
Shannon Gerow: Great spot with an extensive selection for every price point. They know their stuff so don't be afraid to ask for advice (they won't look down on you either so no need to fake it)

Aperitivo: what do users think?
Lin VerMeulen: This is one of my favorite spots to grab a lovely glass of wine (or two) and lunch (the Italian might be one of the best sandwiches ever). I love that the entree's are simple but always delicious and a little unexpected. The staff is always welcoming, and so friendly. In the warm weather, hands down, one of the best spots in GR to hang out. Ahhh, happy times.
CC: Aperitivo is the perfect little spot to grab a drink, a bite to eat and shop around. The service is great and quick, so it makes for a good lunch spot. Pictured is the meltdown, it’s soo good!! You can tell they put care into what they serve.
John Jousma: Get the taberna mix!
Patricia: Had a sweet time. Ate lunch out on the patio. The wine was just right! Our great waiter gracefully explained our charcuterie boards. It was a wonderful mother's day lunch❤
Meredith Busman: Consistently has some of the best wine in GR
Funk Monk: Love this place.
Patrick Stackpoole: I think the customer service could be a tad more welcoming and offer more information about their menu items to the lay person. We ordered a charcuterie board which ended up being pretty good
Hale' Moore: Love it here good selection of drinks and food and knowledgable staff.
Danyelle Wright: My 1st experience! It was a amazing! I can't wait to come back. Today was a birthday celebration 🍾
Eric Machmer: Genuinely upset that their 16 dollar cupcake of cheese, some Italian bread, and wine was better than the 300 dollar fancy dinner we had had the night before.Sales guy tells a good story too if you're into that.
Shasta H-I: Gorgeous wine list -I highly recommend ordering oysters at Fish Lads across from the bar and pairing with the Italian sparkling wine! Staff were attentive and kind.
Larissa Ducci de Araujo: Always a great experience at Aperitivo. Me and the hubby love it. Never disappoints!
Denise Hofstra: Had a great time at Apertivo. It was a fun experience, the food was high quality, and the staff was awesome. Would've given 5 stars if sorts were offered as well as wine and beer.
Sarah Dorn: To the Rude hipster retail employee who thinks he is super funny for telling me wanting smoked gouda is unAmerican. Shut up. 😒🙄 and have some customer service. If you want to be treated like you don't belong go her and buy their bad wines and over priced cheese.
Matthew Curry: Awesome selection of cheese, purchased some and enjoyed it with crackers, salesperson was very helpful in selection. She was correct, it was delicious.
Brendan Schafer: We had a fantastic evening. We got the Monger's Choice based off what we read online and then split both of their sour beers. Our server Gretchen ...I believe... was absolutely fantastic in her recommendations. We kinda just went with the flow and let her take her best guess on what we liked previously, and she did not disappoint. We will be back for meal next time.
Kara Wainwright: Delicious! Amazing! Great service! We love this spot.
Homer Rodriguez: Great food 😋... clean place.
Lori Marshall: We love this place...never disappoints. Best BLT ever! Amazing Burrato with Marcona Almond Pesto...oh. And the wine.
Lindsey Barlow: Dropped by for some cider and a snack at the bar. Gretchen choose some awesome cheeses and meats for us. She is super enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the cider, wines, and aperitifs that Aperitivo carries. Can't wait to come back to this place again on our next trip to GR.
M Walls: I love how the staff knows what you're looking by vague descriptions for example I told them I needed something creamy and salty or hard and sweet. They are amazing!!!

The business went above and beyond to promptly respond to me and ensure they had the product. When I arrived, the individual I was messaging with gave me some great recommendations for other barrel aged stouts for me to pick up as well. Martha's Vineyard Fine Wine & Gourmet Grocery: what do users think?
Lilia B: I love going here! It's the perfect place to get groceries or grab that thing you forgot for your recipes. While the isles are a little tight, everyone is friendly about it and let's you through or you let them through. I also like that they have cold drinks in coolers as well in case you are thirsty. The staff members are always friendly and helpful in finding things!Ambiance: light music playing in the background. There are plenty of smells in the air, but good ones.Accessibility: I was informed that they have tried to get a ramp installed in front of their business but they cannot. Staff members will assist with opening the door for those who cannot open the door.
Jeanie Winstrom: I wanted to shop locally and support a local business but I deeply regret doing so. I completed an online form over the weekend that I understood to be the order form - there was no way to pay online. I received a call a few days later - luckily I happened to be available to take the call and they collected my credit card information. It would have been helpful if this process was explained up front as I was ready to order elsewhere when my order had not been completed.I was very specific that the recipient preferred tea over coffee and did not care for cheese. The person was nice enough but was not attentive to my requests. For this price point, I expected something amazing and what was sent was small and could have been assembled from a discount store for $40 or so. The delivery fee of $35 should have included some communication about the delivery but that was just not the case. When I received the receipt for almost $200 - I responded to share my concerns and the response was not at all helpful but rather told me that I should be grateful as they went $10 over my budget to make it special.Gosh I hate to use the big national companies but at least you can specify your preferences and you know what you are getting.Definitely not what I asked for, wanted or hoped for - it would have been great to have a new go to place to have gifts delivered to family.
Joe Engel: Great selection, and knowledgeable, helpful staff!
Rajinder Gulati: Almost all household grocery etc is available. Though it needs some good labelling in the store.
Joshua Jones: good cheese. great wine selection.
Alyssa Goch: Favorite place for beef burritos, sliced cured meats, wine, my weekly grocery grab after the farm market… great service too.
Roberta Day: I love this place the torte's are simply amazing never have I been disappointed I will continue to keep coming back
Landon Marek (Call_The_Banners): Excellent spot to grab some stuff for a relaxed party with friends. I've also purchased far too many raspberry chocolate tarts here. Highly recommend.
Dreaded Bumbaclot: You get what you pay for and yeah things cost more here but everything is top shelf! I think the staff is great and I can tell the owners care about their staff! Would give more stars if I could!
Chris Dalambakis: Martha's Vineyard is a Hidden Gem.Amazing gourmet food to go! Incredible selection of amazing treats. Best selection of chocolates and liquors / liqueurs.Best Wine shop anywhere.Amazing buys. You like Veuve Cliquot Champagne? Dom Perignon? You won't find a better selection and price points.Sherry and Port! Amazing offering.And... The fruit selection is small - but outstanding. High end.
Lindsay Malon: Nice wine selection. Friendly and very helpful staff. Delicious deli items. Good place for produce and items for your charcuterie.
Darrell Johnson: Great selection of unique groceries/beverages. A bit pricey
Keegan Kallmyer: One of the neighborhood favorites.
Marc McCann: Grab some fresh pasta and a bottle of wine for the perfect night!!!
Francesca Parnham: Absolutely love Martha’s Vineyard for all my fine wine and specialty grocery needs — the deli is phenomenal and has lots of variety. The wine selection is superb and carefully curated and I will drive out of my way to pick from their selection.
Tammy Cooper: Great selection of wine and different bitters. The deli section is nice with lots of different cheese and yummy dessert such as cannoli's. The fruits and vegetables were nice and fresh.
Pattrick Yockey: Awesome! Grew up a few blocks away and haven't been back here in 40 years. It's so much nicer and bigger then it use to be. They have everything 👍👍
Max Boehm: A gem smack in the middle of Heritage Hill. This store has a wide selection of grocery and drink items, anything you may need from a quick pick up of supiescon the way home from work , to their Pizzeria, anything you might need.
Jenna Zimmerman: Although it seems like a really cool place with a huge selection of things, I felt uncomfortable the entire time I looked. When I first came in, it seemed as if the salesperson working the floor was hanging around to be helpful, since they asked if I needed any help finding anything, but after pointing me in the right direction, they continued to stand unnecessarily close to me, and if I walked around, they seemed to trail me. As someone with social anxiety, I felt like I couldn’t even look around. The person stood so close that if I had backed up, I would have stepped on their toes. I absolutely hate shopping at a place with workers who can’t respect personal space. It gave the impression that they were watching me in case of theft, which was incredibly insulting, especially because I was there during a high traffic time of day, and seemed to be the only person getting this kind of attention. I don’t feel welcome here and as much as I had wanted to check this place out, I’m extremely apprehensive about returning. Such an uncomfortable experience.
Roger Starring: Very interesting store. Great selection of scarce and high end distilled spirits, wine, craft beer, and a great bakery. Fun place to wander around in.
Matthew Hejna: What a great market. Incredible people as well. Selection is top notch for so many things. Will be back soon
