Sarah Wright: You can find help with creating college level papers, reports and other writing assignments at the Writing Center on the 2nd floor. 📔📕📖📚Need your star card to enter at the entrance across from the TLC/ Library building
Nichole Doyle: I attend best thing I could do with my life get a higher education
Cynthia Knight: My friend loved this college.
Justin Garcia: Easily located
Tyler Coleman: The practical electricity class needs to be looked into. I learned a lot from it but the instructors need to get it together. I showed up for 13 lectures and 12 of them they didn't show up. Yes 12 lectures I drove 1 hour for to end up watching videos. These videos I drove one hour for when I could've did that on my home computer! Gas money, time, and tuition paid for videos! Dave the main instructor, I've talked to him once and that was for orientation. Class itself does not need organization the teachers do! Get them off their butt and have them teach the class their getting paid for.

The School of Hospitality Business at MSU: what do users think?
Kevin Swanquist: I’m a 2008 graduate from The School of Hospitality Business and the curriculum and faculty prepared me well for my professional career. The alumni network is strong, and I’ve always found that Spartans in hospitality are always a cut above the rest. There are many different career paths students and grads can pursue, from hotel/restaurant/foodservice operations and sales, to corporate real estate and really any kind of business. As a recruiter in hospitality, I always seek out Spartan grads because I know they have a strong education from the top public hospitality school.
David DuBois: The Michigan State University School of Hospitality Business is the #1 public school of our kind for students interested in pursuing a hospitality industry career. I am a 1978 graduate of the school and continue to enjoy an over 44 year career.
Mary Winslow: So proud to be a part of The School of Hospitality Business appointed board. The relationship between the students and alumni is impressive!
Gary Hernbroth: I know this school as a student, as an alum, as a guest lecturer and Spartan Sponsor/Mentor, and a long-time member of its Alumni Board of Directors. Thus, I've seen the school from every level and I have such respect and admiration for the entire school -- faculty, students, staff and alumni. The top companies come to MSU to recruit these students, as the school has a wonderful track record of graduating emerging professionals that make a real impact in many different facets of the industry -- and other types of industries, too. This is not just a "restaurant and hotel management school." Curriculum in business skills and areas such as real estate investment, management, etc., afford many opportunities for students, as do the many student clubs on campus.Participating in the clubs helps get students involved which can include traveling and going up against other schools in national competitions. Such participation catches recruiters' eyes, too. This school has a vibrant faculty and a very engaged alumni network, which strengthens the overall experience and fabric of being a Hospitality Spartan. You may leave the school upon graduation, but it never leaves you. The consistently high national rankings of the school (currently #2 public hospitality school) are a result of all the factors I've mentioned here, and more. And, did I mention? This all takes place on a campus that is one of the most beautiful you will ever experience.
Blair Wills: I am a proud 2002 graduate of The School of Hospitality Business at MSU. The experiences I had during my time in the program were invaluable. The Student Industry Resource Center helped me to find internships that positioned me for success post graduation. The faculty is hands on and truly cares about the students and their futures. The alumni network is always willing to give back and share their experiences. Overall great school which I highly recommend!
Paul Finstad: Proud graduate of The School of Hospitality Business. Great curriculum, faculty/staff members and alumni!
rebecca whaley: I honestly cannot believe how lucky I am to have found HB. Throughout college, all my friends in other majors were surprised at how close I was with all my classmates. I could go into any class and know at least 5 people. And by know, I don't mean familiar faces. I was actually friends with at least 5 people throughout each class! They were people who got to know me and we were able to grow and develop together. The best part is that these are people I am still extremely close with to this day. I see them every year and I can't imagine college (or life) without them! The School of Hospitality helped foster that close connection. Through SIRC, the courses, the clubs, the events - everything helped me fall deeper in love with the school AND my career.
Caitlyn Kuskowski: So grateful to have went to such an amazing College and a activley involved school with so much engagement and enthusiasm. I graduated back in 2016. The School of Hospitality Business is filled with such strong and well rounded faculty, staff, and alumni that it makes your experience as a student that much more memorable. I graduated with so many experiences, skills, and a mindset for me to succeed in just about any situation. Spartans WILL. GO Green!
Brad Cance: The School is so supportive of the students, and the alumni both recent and past are absolutely committed to ensuring that they support the faculty the students and everything about the SHB at Michigan State University
James J. McHenry: The School and it's faculty, staff, and alumni created a warm and welcoming community for students to thrive under. Fantastic clubs create endless networking for students, and now as an alumni a great way to give back and pay my experience forward.
Curtis Lease: A very proud 1991 graduate of The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. Part of the Broad College of Business, the Hospitality Business program is an amazing, top-notch academic program with incredible faculty, motivated students and active and distinguished alumni. So many great leadership experiences that were foundational in my growth and development in the industry. GO GREEN!
Rose Spickler: The School of Hospitality Business at MSU is a phenomenal program for students looking to enter any facet of the hospitality industry. The top notch faculty and classes help students learn essential, ever evolving information and skills to prepare them for jobs. The Student Industry Resource Center is well connected throughout the HB industry and an amazing tool for students to expand their network and find internships to enrich their experience. The School of Hospitality Business has a plethora of student clubs and organizations to get involved in, as well as many fun networking events. It is truly a place to grow and learn while preparing for a role after graduation in the hospitality industry.
Terri Woodin: Proud 1988 graduate, MSU College of Business, School of Hospitality Business! This well-rounded business degree studying all of the College of Business disciplines combined with the double major of Hospitality Business and the hands-on work experience of two internships set me up for success to be 1 of 2 national hospitality graduates that Walt Disney World made an offer to upon graduation out of 1000+ that interviewed for a management position. To this day, the reputation and success of our hard working & successful graduates ranks the MSU School of Hospitality Business as the #1 Public Hospitality Business School and this draws the attention of not only the top hospitality companies but also many other industries that seek out our graduates. Even during the 2020 COVID Pandemic, our graduates succeeded in a 97% placement upon graduation in all different industries. Go Green!
Martha Keller: I am a proud graduate from THE School of Hospitality Business. The real world examples, internships, events, etc provided a tremendous base for me to start my career. Also the amazing network of MSU HB Alumni throughout the USA. Always and forever a proud Spartan. GO GREEN!
Bob Pierce: MSU School of Hospitality Business provided me with a strong foundation in the industry, combining with my work experience to open doors that otherwise may not have been available to me. A degree from the nation's top public hospitality school was a source of pride, and a distinction among peers in my company. Once I had the opportunity to lead a hotel operation, I made it a point to source MSUSHB students to fill internships, and entry level management development positions post-graduation. These Spartans never disappointed in bringing enthusiasm and commitment, and many went on to very successful careers with premier hotel properties and companies. I continue my involvement to this day as a longstanding member of the SHB Alumni Executive Board of Directors, and hope to contribute to the school in ways large and small in the years ahead.
Chuck Day: The Best Hospitality Business education money can buy! Great faculty, great staff, great students and great alumni.

With a century-long legacy and deep alumni base who are linked to the elite Broad College of Business, this is an exceptional place that grows the leaders of tomorrow.

The education offered by the program is second to none, and the program offers it graduates the ability to apply their education and experience across a wide landscape of career opportunities, both in hospitality and other business disciplines. With the opening of the Minskoff Pavilion at the Broad College of Business, the program now has a teaching facility that is second to none to any other business school in the country.
Mark Auerbach: As a longtimealum of theschool I have experienced great success because of my affiliation with the SHB.
