JoJo Bean: Conversation started today2:08amJoAnna De La RosaMy kids and I went to the Kids connect at 2500 Washington st. The brochure says boxed lunched (which they complied) hair cuts yes, eye exams yes but when it came time for them to give anything...... my kids left with under wear and socks. We wasted 6 hours that said on the brochure "clothing voucher (which they workers promised my daughter because they "ran out") and school supplies which included backpacks. Apparently the workers said "someone either did not buy or they do not do this year" I went there for the supplies and backpacks. I finally get to the front of the line and I was told to go back upstairs to watch a 5 minute video and they can help me. I go back upstairs but they are done and nothing they can do. I wasted 6 hours for nothing.2:11amJoAnna De La RosaI'm sorry but something needs to be done. I do not go around and "hunt" for the best deals. I waited with my kids ages 13, 12, 8 and 4. My 8 year old was promised and she left disappointed. I do not want her to think that humanity is like this.
