Tony Rodriguez: There was an existing three-element antenna when I purchased our home almost 40 years ago. Over three decades ago, I wired five CRT sets with a distribution amplifier to that antenna to accommodate our large family. It all worked fine with the analog signal of the day. I installed digital turners when the broadcast signal shifted to digital. It continued to work fine. I purchased digital TVs over time. It all seemed to work reasonably well.About three years ago, our reception started to flicker and freeze. This seemed to correspond with approaching weather systems. Our most favorite shows were starting to be disrupted with frequent flickers and freezes. I figured that the 50-year or older antenna was on the decline. I thought it best to upgrade the setup as I anticipated the 2022 FIFA soccer games this fall. I played and coached soccer for years. I wanted to see all the games undisrupted. This is when I reached out to Antenna Men.The Antenna Men technician replaced my worn out antenna configuration with a made-in-Spain, “Spider” antenna. (I am including a picture.) It was an immediate hit! Many more channels came in. The picture quality was superior to what I was accustomed.But after two days, the flickering and freezing started in again. I thought I would miss the FIFA games. The Antenna Men owners sincerely wanted to help us view the games and came to our recue. They were relentless to figure out the problem. Two different technicians and two service calls later they tracked the problem to an old, obsolete two-way splitter that I installed thirty years ago. They were not happy until I was, and at no additional charge.One “Spider” antenna, one new splitter, and the FIFA soccer games later without one flicker, I am a happy customer. The Antenna Men technicians know their science.

My call was returned a short time later.Todd made a service call to my home which was over an hour away. I was looking to get an antenna and to have my StarLink mounted on the roof. After a walk around my house and discussion, Todd was very forthright about how the size/type of antenna I needed would interfere with the aesthetics of my home and advised against installing the large one I initially called about. He tested out a smaller one but it didn't quite have enough power to pull in all the stations we wanted. I appreciated his honesty and transparency and opted not to get that big antenna.He did a great job installing the StarLink. His focus was on doing what was best for my home, not making a quick buck for himself. Great to work with, no pressure and I see he took a lot of pride in doing a good job, even though the job ended up being smaller than what I originally called for. Highly recommend.
