Kelly Yoakam: Reason for 1 star: I called the office and told them that when doing the diagnostics--it came up with F70, imbalance, and that we had attempted to reset it and couldn't. One would think that was important information they could act on.When the tech came out, he also saw F70, but didn't know what it meant (I was hoping that they would have looked it up before they came at least, so they might have the parts, etc.!) He had no solution, charged us $99.00, and wrote on the invoice that he had found no problem with the machine.I would like for a more experienced person to do a follow up. It feels a lot like taking a computer in for repair and because they aren't experienced enough to fix it--just restore it to the original settings. In this case, they just said nothing was wrong--and the laundry is still wringing wet!I would be glad to edit this review if they are willing to send an expert to do the job that wasn't done--at no additional charge.--------------------------------------------------------------*****Additional review: I changed the review to 3 stars. I would have put 5 had we been helped initially.Lane's contacted me and sent a repairman that knew what needed to be done and repaired the washing machine! Michael Neller: this was an awful experience. I needed a heating element on a glass cooktop replaced. First they ordered the element and had it sent to my house. The element they sent was an old element that was literally in pieces in a box that looked like a large dog had ripped it up then they re-taped it. So, I had to wait another two weeks for a new part and then when 2 techs showed up they spent 3 hours at my house only to find out they don't know how to remove the cooktop. They told me to get a contractor to remove the cooktop and then they would come back to replace it.I told them I was done and now I am out the trip charge.Service:Stove cooktop repair

Lauren LM: EDIT: Received a call from Adam; I clearly didn't hear the associate (Justin) correctly when he told me the price for replacing a belt on my vacuum. I heard $58, he actually said $15.80. Adam explained that most belt replacements are around that $15-$25 amount, which is what Justin had also told me this morning when I called. Adam also explained that AMEX is not good for small businesses - and would charge the store a very high rate on each transaction. My three star review earlier was based off of feeling like I was lured in with a reasonable estimate, then charged a high price - but now I realize I just need to get my hearing checked. Just as I said in my initial review the belt change was done in under a minute, but unlike earlier it was not as I thought ("expensive as hell!").

Wasn't freon made illegal around 1994? Eric tells me I owe $95 for a service call. I was shocked. I complained. I said to Eric, I understand that you have no control over this. However, it would have been nice if you or Maytag would have informed me of this fee. I really do not want to buy a new refrigerator. Eric developed an unprofessional attitude with me. He began to argue. At this point I told him he wasn't a very nice person. He replied neither was I. He accused me if lying when I told him the appliance repair company I have used for over 30 years, Williamston Appliance, does not charge me if they cannot repair my appliance. This is the point he informed me I was lying.I have been in customer service related industries since 1993. For years I sold bridal gowns. This takes tremendous patience. Eric should be taught how to be a good representive of his company. I would never use this company nor would I recommend them.Also when I attempted to call and complain about Eric, their phone was suddenly out of order. Yet, they had called me on it just before noon..Service score would have been zero stars if there could be a rating that low.

Robert VanHouten: Honestly, the customer service and satisfaction is top notch! We had issues with a dishwasher and with my wife taking care of two kids while I'm at work. It was always important to have that time saved by not needing to wash dishes and G & W Appliance took that into account.They don't even open until 7am and their boss started searching for the part we needed at 6:30am! They really do care for their customers and I know we will always go back here for any appliance issues!

Dave Jones: Quickest trip to an appliance store in years. Sales staff knew there product and gave us the answers we need to make an informed choice.
Kimberly Wright: They gave a 4 hour window to send a service person over to fix an appliance. We missed work so we could be here. 10 minutes before the end of that period they finally call to say they'll be late and that we need to make accommodations for them to get in whenever they do finally show up, but they couldn't even give an exact time that would be. Don't bother scheduling anything with them if you value your time because they sure don't value it.
Rachel Barna: Worked with G&W on a Whirlpool warranty issue. The service guys that came out to my house to look at my dishwasher were polite and professional and explained exactly what was wrong. Don, at the office, went above and beyond helping me work with the warranty company even though the warranty company ended up not doing the repair due to part supply issues, he made sure before closing the case that we were taken care of.
Marcella Wilson: How glad I am that found this company. I needed a washer badly. It was so wonderful to purchase by phone, have it delivered, installed and the old one hauled away. The employees were refined and courteous gentlemen, who cleaned up after themselves and put everything back in place that had to be moved. This company is a real treasure in a time of "big box stores".
Karri Christie: The dishwasher is great, but the installation and follow up, not so much. The second time I ran the dishwasher, I noticed water leaking out from under my sink where the water line runs. Upon further inspection, the entire area under my sink was flooded.G&W did come back out promptly to investigate and secure the water line, which I appreciated. However the area under my sink was warped and has now molded from the water damage.I placed three phone calls to G&W and never received a call back. The area under my sink is still damaged. I will not go through G&W again and wouldn't recommend them unless you're willing to take the risk.
Martin Diller: I needed three appliances repaired and these guys were in and out in no time at all. I could not be happier with the service and professionalism. I am glad they were recommended to me and I would recommend them to anyone!
Jay Chase: Update: What they said was wrong with my fridge was not even the issue. I needed to clean the coils so they were going to charged me for a new part that wasn’t going to fix the issue.Very poor communication Scheduled an appointment September 15th they came out on the 30th and told me what the problem was and the company will get in touch with me. 4 weeks go by and I called the company asking what is going on they tell me the part is in and someone will be by on the following day to repair my refrigerator. The person came and said I was suppose to have my fridge unplugged for 24hrs to defrost and he could come back the following day and No showed. I called the company they said he called me and knocked at my door but I didn’t answer. (I have motion sensor cameras that pick up when someone is at my door no one ever came.) They said they would send someone out Friday (Today) at Noon and still no one showed up. I want my deposit back so I can find another company that can fix my refrigerator I’ve been without a fully functioning fridge for almost 3 months it should not be this difficult to get someone repaired….. smh

Debbie Washburn: Purchased a Dryer and wouldn't heat went to parts location and spoke with the lady and one of the repair guys he said he knew what part I needed he got it came back and opened the box well long story short it was the wrong part and was told they wouldn't take it back even tho their employee opened it so stuck with a $70 part that I can't use the office manager never called back after several attempts to resolve the issue here still not resolved.
