Compounds & Crossbows: what do users think?
Rick Vanhorn: Very friendly and helpful. Thank you 😊
Kristi Bell: I went here to look for bolts for my parker crossbow. The lady in front told me that they went out of business and I was out of luck. Then we were looking at an item they had for sale and she told us she didn't have time for us to be asking about that item. I left and won't ever be back. I went to another archery shop (arrowhead archery) and they hooked me up with bolts for my crossbow. Overall it was an unhelpful, unfriendly experience.
Greg: Very helpful and knowledgeable. Nice store and good selection of bows and other items.
Sun Zengyi: If you want to experience what it's like to be mugged, this is the store for you. A saleswoman discriminates against consumers, freely modifies pricing (more expensive), and even tries to get more money by obscuring the payment amount. Geez, doesn't she know this is fraud?
Cowboy Wong: I came in early one Saturday morning to pick out a crossbow after 8 months researching Xbows and Len spent allot of time helping me decide what to buy. I have been to shops that won’t even say hello let alone share knowledge that is actually helpful. So b4 you buy online check this shop out.Follow Up: Had user error with the new Ravin went in day before opening day (they were extremely busy) and they helped me figure out my problem, I appreciate the service I received.
Leland Maples: Called and lady who answered was very rude and too busy to answer a simple question. The were busy call us back response doesn’t promote good service at all.
Brad Adcock: Some will agree with me here, and some will agree with the business and that's ok. But My experience here yesterday after being referred to them for warranty repair work by Tenpoint Crossbows was horrible. When I walked in the lady was nice & pleasant, spoke to me for a couple moments with no issue. As soon as I walked into the back section and the gentlemen saw me, he curtly asked me if I had a mask. I told him no, I actually have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing one. They then tried to argue against that and I tried to politely explain to them the Governors EO explicitly provided an exemption for this very situation. They told me that if I didn't put on a mask, I had to leave. Begrudgingly, I complied without saying anything else as I knew I would only be there a few minutes, and figured I'd probably be ok. When I came back in, the lady made some remark about me changing my mind. I replied, telling her that I was only doing it because they are who Tenpoint referred me to for the warranty work and that if it were a matter of me simply spending money here, or elsewhere, I would simply go elsewhere. She said she was sorry I felt that way, and the rest of the interaction was completely cordial. Despite our obvious disagreement, both individuals that were actually there for my interaction were polite and professional while we concluded our business. Then, later in the afternoon, "Len" called me and told me to come pick up my bow, that he did not want to work on it because of my comment about not wanting to spend money in business' that force me to wear a mask that I am not supposed to, in direct violation of the EO. This was completely unnecessary, the situation was squashed. As stated, the rest of the interaction with both individuals who were actually there at the time was polite and cordial. He chose to bring it back up for what I can only assume is his political grandstanding or something. He said he gets plenty of business and didn't need mine. He could have used this as an opportunity to heal the divide that we are all dealing with right now and gain a new customer. But instead, he re-ignited the whole situation and completely alienated me for no good reason whatsoever. I get that Michigan business' have been put in a very awkward position because of this governors horrible EO's asking them to basically act as law enforcement that they are not. If a business chooses to comply with that, then they should understand the supposed "laws" they are enforcing. After being treated this way, I will never go here again. Arrowhead Archery is my normal go-to archery spot in the area, I highly recommend them over these guys.
Jared Thompson: They call themselves an archery shop but when I called looking for heavy spine arrows (I specifically asked for 200 or 250 spine) the "arrow lady" told me point blank "sorry to tell you but if you think 200 and 250 spine arrows are heavy spines you are simply wrong" in a condescending tone. Then proceeded to tell me how she has 10 years of experience in the business and that she knows arrows. I'm not sure how a person can spend 10 years in the archery industry and not know how spine deflection is measured and what it means, but somehow they don't. Moral of the story, these people are not qualified to give advice on arrow selection and I can't imagine they are any more knowledgeable in the more technical areas of archery.
Rickey Miller: Len & shannon are the best, very knowledgeable, are always able to get me in what I'm looking for at a decent price.brick and mortor will never be able to compete with internet prices, but they do the best they can. I'd rather spend my money with mom and pops anyday. There pleasant demeanor and ability to go above and beyond make shopping mom and pops worth the couple extra dollars. Rickey Bobby
Collin Harris: Very rude. Would not give me the time of day
Katie Yuhasz: Very knowledgeable and friendly! They were very excited to help my daughter get set up for her archery team.
Michael G: Not the first place I called. A man named Len patiently talked to me on the phone and helped me regarding a crossbow that needed repair. I had many questions, and he actually had answers for the questions I didn't know to ask. I knew this was where I was taking my crossbow. As it turn out, I have an old Hoyt Ultra Tec compound. I'm having them recondition it for me. I miss hunting with a bow. I'll just say my first impression on the phone was excellent, and my trip to the store and conversation with their staff, reinforced they will get all my business. I hope others do the same so they keep the doors open.
Spencer Brackins: Rude rude rude..... messy messy messy..... horrible customer service, out of date selection, And if your not buying a bow from them they dont wanna talk to you.
Lansing Handyman Inc.: Rude woman works front desk. Happy to overcharged you and press their near monopoly by gouging you. Find another place.
JLM: went in with my first bow that I bought used.learned a lot in about 30 minutes of b. s. 'ing. damn should've held out.great store for PSE fans.
Destiny Rose: Amazing customer service and VERY family oriented. Family friendly and we are ALWAYS greeted with a smile.
Doug Herbruck: My buddy and I both bought crossbows at show prices a month after the show. We received great service and a friendly staff. After purchase service has also been very good and prompt. I just wish they had earlier store hours.
juicy k the neighborhood baller: Very helpful and kind staff, know what they are doing and always answer your questions.
David Backstrom: Small store that is very helpful to customers.
Kelby Coffelt: Great bow shop. Very knowledgeable. Have been doing business with them for around 5 years now. Have bought a bow and crossbow from them and they always remember me and are friendly. Highly recommend that you stop in, you won't be disappointed! I drive about an hour to the store and I'd definitely drive more, it's worth it!
Tamnakz: This place has moved, but their sign is still up at the old location. When you go looking for them, and call to find out why you can't find them near their sign, the phone rings for five minutes and then they're rude when they finally answer. Don't waste your time.

Arrowhead Archery: what do users think?
Christie Omo: Just can't beat the personalized, knowledgeable service at Arrowhead! We never go anywhere else!
Jodie and Jeff Fowler: Anthony is the best in the business!
Stacey Barnett: Full range of knowledge without being pretentious. Super kind, personable and welcoming. Very cool shop with plenty to browse through. Have your bows calibrated precisely to you and then go into the range to practice and fine tune. You'll receive tips, tricks and leave content knowing you and your equipment was tended by a top notch, high caliper and honest as they come gentlemen who will have you feeling almost like family.
Julie Benjamin: Thank you Anthony for perfectly fitting our son with his new bow! We appreciate your time and expertise!
John Fitzgerald: Arrowhead has good service with friendly and helpful staff.
Joe Parker: Sorry it took so long!!!This review is from 8/21.I bought a Ravin R20 from Bruce. He took the time to personally show me how to load and shoot it. (I’m new to crossbows due to shoulder surgeries). He is an amazing guy. Safety was his primary point with this bow. On top of that he is just a great guy. Highly recommend.
Justin Farr: Great bow shop and very friendly service. Got me all set up on a new bow. Made my sight adjustments for me while I was sighting in, they just went the extra mile with everything! The indoor range is great and a good place to shoot in these cold months, and the DART range is fun when you get board of shooting at a paper target. All in all a great spot for anything archery!
James Dreps: Great place, if you want personable attention for your needs and not someone who is just trying to sell you something you don't need this is your archery shop. Love this place been going there for over 20yrs for all my archery needs
Danny Kittell: First time ever using this shop today. I have nothing but great things to say about the visit. I walked in to have a crossbow looked at maybe repaired and was ready to put some money into the crossbow, the owner inspected the bow and told me everything looked like it was in good working order and at this time and he didn’t find the work I wanted done necessary. Based on his honesty from this visit this will be my first stop when I have any issues with my archery equipment. He could have easily said yeah you need this done and that done and he didn’t just to make a quick buck. Besides the honest service they had a great selection of accessories to get me all set up for next season
Reviewer: Great knowledgeable staff, helped my friend find just what he needed for opening bow season.
Lucas Martin: Both the owner and younger guy were polite and extremely helpful with finding a good bow for me and making sure the draw length and weight were good for me
Steve Vandenabeele: My wife and I went in and inquired about a cross bow purchase we were shown many bows ,but we're ultimately decided on the raven..the staff not only had both bows ready and waiting for us to pick up a couple days later, but took the time to show us how to use properly and safely, shoot some arrows in the shop and when we left we were very happy with our experience and definitely will be repeat customers
mark that guy: Always a pleasure going and seeing old friends!
Todd Jones: Great small town shop run by a guy who really cares. Highly recommend this business.
william anderson: This archery store is very good.
Gavin Feldpausch: Great people! Very friendly, helpful and they have a ton of stuff!
Ken McQuarrie: Amazing customer service! As a first time bow hunter they were able to guide me to what I needed. Brought in a bow that was gifted to me and they were able to update it right away. Also walked out with a new crossbow for my girlfriend. I would highly recommend Arrowhead Archery to anyone!
Aricyn Thompson: Always very helpful.
Brian Gangluff: Great job. Very helpful. Thank Anthony.
Amber Smith: Excellent service. Great teacher. Will definitely be back.
Ryan Cragg: Always friendly and knowledgeable. Their willingness to help is what has brought me back time and time again.

Sportsman's Warehouse: what do users think?
Theodore S. Ransaw: The guy behind the counter came out and spent a good deal of time answering questions and sharing things I didn't know. Few sales people have product knowledge like that anymore.
Jayson Chapman: Has become my go to place for all things outdoors ! The selection is good, and the prices pretty decent overall . Knowledgeable and friendly customer service
Evan Murphy: Creepy gun culture and still seems to be going out of business. Always have issues with computers at checkout but say it just happened. No fishing stock at all. Go elsewhere.
Jeremy B: Lots of selection on guns. One time I went in to get deer tags and machine was down after 30 minutes of trying had to go somewhere else.
Mitch Adam: A good sporting goods store. They have a good supply of gear for waterfowl hunting, wich is really nice for me. They have I nice size gun counter with a fairly large supply of hand guns and long guns. It's also convenient to have 5.11 tactical gear in the store as well. The camping and hiking gear section is well laid out and stocked as well. The pricing on apparel is pretty high though. Can't say much about the fishing or bow hunting departments as I've never been through them. They seem to be as well stocked and supplied as the rest of the store though.
Joe Ladd: Not bad product lines but the telephone automated service does not work at all. It breaks up, never forwards your call or simply hangs up. If I lived next store it wouldn't be a problem but i am a half hour away. I hope they fix this soon.
Thomas Goodson: Great place for all your outdoor needs and a good selection
Robert Clarke: Had what I needed at fair price
Juston Marshall: I got really great service.
Rafael Buckles: The staff was very kind and were able to fully refund my purchase. I actually ended up buying a better gun for a similar price.
Cody Darnell: Customer service is poor. had to call multipleTimes after being sat on hold for 13 mins both times and the gentleman that did answer was just rude! Will definitely take my business else where
B Gz: As a 1st time customer it was a pleasant surprise. Lots of choices and competitive pricing. Customer service was very good and everyone I encountered was helpful.
Mark Stanley: Great place to shop.
littlefeild jake: Prices are decent
Dan Gambill: Very knowledgeable and helpful firearms staff on my latest purchase.
Colton Schmaltz: Ordered a shotgun online for pickup and it turned out that the picture they had posted to the website was Incorrect. The staff was very kind and were able to fully refund my purchase. I actually ended up buying a better gun for a similar price. 10/10 staff 5/10 website
geemanjeff: Bought a Master built smoker. Great service and great price.
Clayton: Helpful staff
C T (MnkyDlffy): I enjoy as a regular customer browsing and shopping this sportsman warehouse but today changed that.I recently experience being followed by a employee pasting back and forth glaring his eyes my way pretending to look and touch stuff like he's working being a physiognomy maybe because of my skin color or ethinc treated as if i was a thief attempting to steal something.I was just checking out different products and reading descriptions to make sure I was going to buy the right thing. I don't mean to assume anything but I would prefer any employee to just come my way and ask if i needed any help.
Rjelmiles: Helpful and friendly staff. Large selection on a variety of outdoor sporting goods.
Brandon Elbers: Lots of variety, fair prices, helpful staff

DICK'S Sporting Goods: what do users think?
Dee Webb: This store is clean, organized and usually has what I'm looking for.The cashier's are always congenial.Received excellent help and suggestions in camping equipment and athletic shoes departments last night.Always walk out of there with a purchase.
Dave Moore: Mary at the front end was extremely rude, impatient and not willing to hear that another cashier had my return behind the counter. She rushed me out the checkout lane, saying “ have a great day in a really Condescending rude tone” I shop here all the time, but I will not be returning if she is still employed here. Terrible customer service. Everyone else was very welcoming besides Mary. She looked like she was in a very bad mood. You lost a good weekly returning customer over one employee with a terrible attitude. I’d give this spot zero stars if I could. Thanks for the terrible experience Mary!!!!
Luann Renteria: 5* for the greeter. Told him we were looking for golf clubs. He was very informative about what was available in the golf department and named the two guys that would help us out. Was looking around the golf department for about 10 minutes and no one came out of the office to help us....very disappointing...
Susan Jaminet: Disappointed that you don't have much of a selection of golf accessories.
Island Ewert: Solid place for your sports equipment. The online order is nice for picking things up quickly too, they are friendly.
Katina Richardson: I came in today and had to leave because there was a pit bull in the store OFF LEASH. I felt so unsafe and couldn’t believe it.
Marleen Cornwell: Went to exchange shoes. Shoe dept employee was very patient and helped me alot. Thank you!
Farah Siddiqi: Very good quality clothing and shoes
Karen Doty-Gorman: The golf area young man was very helpful!! The young lady at cash register was great too!! It was nice to see such kind people at the store again!!
William Parker: Had a fishing reel spun with new line gentlemen was very helpful with picking right line for what I'm fishing for.
Tyrone Williams: I want to thank Al Le Blanc and Tywan Williams fot help and support. Your only ad good as your team.Stay Healthy
Sarah Wright: Went looking for a bicycle 🚲 and found a selection that was fair sized...a little pricey but then again everything is nowadays...if you play sports this is a good spot to find your accessories...⚽️⚾️ 🏀🏐🏈🏉🎾 🎳🏏🏑🏒 🏓🏸⛳️🎣⛸️🥊🥌🤺🏋‍♂️🤼‍♂️⛺️🛶
Jeffrey W: Usually get good service, help in the golf area and fair prices.
Pamela Hill: Very helpful staff ! Lots of shoe choices!!
Jimmy Thompson: We need a Scheels in Michigan!! Scheels would be awesome in the Landing area. But this place will do for now

Guns & Bows Inc: what do users think?
Kimberly Stier: Guns and Bows is an outstanding archery shop. My husband and I got new bows and are really enjoying target shooting. I had zero experience and Scott guided me from compound bow selection and accessories, setting the bow up and fine tuning it to me, as well as teaching me how to use my new Mission Switch. The indoor range is a great feature letting you shoot with other archers. Thanks Scott and Art.
Happybirthday213: Great guys, very knowledgeable and friendly and patient. Love my new bow
Michael Tomlin: I purchased a Hoyt RX7 and my daughter purchased a Hoyt Ventum, these guys have been awesome to work with. With everything going on in the world its nice to feel confident in who you spend your money with.
Cliff Schultz: Guns & Bows is an excellent archery pro shop! Owners Art and Scott not only sell some of the best bows and associated equipment and accessories available today, but they actually live the world of archery. You don't have to be in their shop very long in order to understand that archery is not only their business but also their way of life. Both of these guys are seasoned archery veterens, accomplished target archers, arrow makers, bow tuners and bow hunters. My son and I go to Guns & Bows for all of our archery gear.
Complete Golf: My wife and I went to a big name outdoor retailer in Auburn Hills looking for a pair of bows. We were met with indifference and left wondering who would buy from them. An internet search for bow shops led us to Guns and Bows.I took my vintage garage sale find bow to G&B. The owner spoke fondly about when he was a dealer for that bow company and would shoot competitions in Las Vegas using the same bow. He suggested a few tune up updates for the bow which I eagerly accepted. He spent a long time working on it and explained in detail how each change would improve the bow and improve my enjoyment in using it.When he was done, he answered every question we had about purchasing a pair of new bows for my wife and made a couple of purchasing suggestions. He called a couple of friends who owned the same bow we were considering purchasing and asked them to drop them off at his bow shop so we could test them to see if the bows would be a good fit for us.Guns and Bows is the ONLY place I will go for anything to do with bows. When you go there, ask about his incredible indoor range.
David Casaceli: Helped me out in a bind last fall a few days before leaving on an elk hunt out west.
Eli VanderVelde: Nice place , they dont mind helping you set up an old bow if you need to. They also sell top of the line bows and archery equipment. Will definitely save you time and money to get you out in the woods as soon as possible.
Chris Mcdaniels: Staff alway very helpful and friendly. ..
Mattsalas Salas: This is the best shop in mid Michigan. Very knowledgeable guy. If you need a new bow or one setup I highly recommend. Thx my son really enjoys his bow!
KingScream63: Needed work done on a bow I got from my grandpa, and I was very pleased with the service here. I was not expecting to be in and out with my bow fixed. Reasonably priced and knows what's what
Jeffrey Zemla: Had to have some quick work done on my bow, replacing string stop and adding speed nocks. Scott and Art Turner was able to do this as I waited, and for a very fair price!! All while being friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend them for all of your archery needs.
Bill Mcglinchey: Love this place high quality service and very knowledgeable they know there stuff
Ethan Wehman: The people are kinda rude and they don't work on x-bow very disappointed with this establishment.
Neal Garner: Good people, great place to shoot.
