Michael: I would avoid. They rented a Dodge 300 out to me. Not only did it emit the smell of burning oil my entire drive home, but it also left several large oil leaks all over my driveway... and those spots are still there weeks later. I have followed up with both corporate and local branch. Corporate has assured me multiple times that they would look into the matter and have the Lansing branch follow-up. I have sent several inquiries, and no one wants to make this situation right. Finally, Corporate has stated that if I don't hear from the Lansing branch within 5 days, assume that I won't be compensated.I'd avoid Enterprise in the future. Not only did they risk the vehicle breaking down on me (did screw the oil cap back on the car I'd assume) and the permanent oil stains their vehicle's leak, you're better off going elsewhere. I'll be letting my insurance company know what poor customer service I received at Enterprise.
Daphna Gadoth: Aaron Collins provided exceptional customer service. My insurance sent my reservation info to the wrong branch and he resolved it and made sure I was in a vehicle in time to make it to a conference. He also gave me sound advice on how to navigate communicating with my insurance agency that really paid off. When I dropped the car off, he took the time to walk me through each fee and charge. I was very happy with the level of professionalism and care I received.
Josh Mattern: This place is a bit cramped and hectic but, as you will find with most enterprise locations, service is top notch! They got me out of one hell of a bond with some friendly service, and a great rate. Thanks guys!

Allen Wicke: I rented a truck from this location for 1 week. I brought the truck back 2 days early under the premise that I would have my final bill adjusted accordingly. When I got home and checked the statement in my email, I found that I had been charged for the full week. I think it would have been proper, and prudent for the person who took care of me on my return to have notified me that there would be NO refund at all. I took the truck back with a half tank of gas (I received it with an empty tank). If I had known that I was forfeiting 2 days of my rental agreement, I would have certainly kept the truck till the rental week ran out. I consider this to be very underhanded, and disrespectful. I have rented from Enterprise exclusively, and have always been satisfied till this occasion. I will not allow myself to be taken advantage of again by this company. I feel I have no choice but to rent from a different company from now on.

Dan Dinolfo: Had a rental confirmed by them, but when I showed up they didn't have it ready. Said to come back in 4 hours or pay $20 a day for an "upgrade". I had dropped my car off at a body shop that morning and gotten a Lyft ride to the store. My house is 20 minutes away.After I pushed back, they "found" a cheaper tiny car and said to call back in the afternoon and they will have a mid-size car I can swap it for. I called back and they basically blew me off. If I call them and ask to rent a new car with a phone number they don't have on file, they magically have the car in, but apparently, they don't want to rent the cars for "insurance" rates. Bait and switch.
Salil Dua: Exceptional customer service from Branch Manager Alonso Acosta and his regional mangager Shawn. My meeting in Detroit suddenly got moved to an earlier time. These gentlemen made special arrangements for me and even gave me an upgrade. These guys are personalable and professional. I highly recommend this Enterprise Branch
Ivey Matter: The web site said to fill everything out online and then pull up with 4-ways on and it would be easy peasy! Well I did everything and they never came out! 😡. I had to go in and answer all the questions (I had filled out online). When I commented that it didn’t work as it had said it would; they just said oh yeah, people didn’t do it right. They were not exactly the politest people either! Disappointed during this Covid time.

Chris Leonard: I unfortunately left a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses in a rental that I returned to Enterprise in Lansing. I've been in contact multiple times with customer support regarding this who claim they've forwarded my inquiries to the Lansing office. It's now been almost 2 months and they have not informed me if they've been found. At this point it's safe to assume that either an employee or the next customer scored some nice sunglasses. I understand they're ultimately not responsible for left items,however I simply want an answer.Another issue is when I rented the car from FL, I wanted to return it to the Mt.P, MI Enterprise location. I was told it would cost around two thousand extra to drop it off in Mt.P instead of Lansing with no good explanation. 2g is unreal for an hour further north! I had to have someone pick me up in the middle of the night in Lansing to take me back to Mt.P. Made a long trip more stressful and didn't make much sense.

Laprisha Lee: I came in and added a extra driver and insurance to cover the driver on 10/27/2020 for 2 days and extended one day the following day. In total of 3 day of extra driver and insurance. My Credit Card was charged 203.09 after I was told my debit would be charged 46.I called the lady the same day asking why the 46 wasn't charged on my debit but 203 was charged on my credit. She said it was a mix up and that the extra monies would fall off. I called back a second time because charges was being refunded off debit and charges was added to credit still to get same answer extra charges would fall off. I called the facility I rented from next day because now my debit was charged 46.00 and I still had 203 on my credit card, just to be told that it all added up and 200 was despoit. I dropped the car off and got final bill to realize I was charged for 14 days for extra driver. I called enterprise customer service got a claim number and was told I will get a refund for the 12 days. They was emailing the site manager while I was on my phone and said he will receive the email in the morning when they open up. I called the location around 1130 to check status on refunded, after explaining the situation again, I was told they ain't sure if anything can be done. I explained to the young man that I have a complaint number and I was told I would be getting a refund and his manager got a email. He said let me get the manager, then came back and told me the manager wasn't available because they close at 12, that I have to wait to monday morning. Unprofessional. The store closes at 12 and it wasn't yet 12 so I was very disappointed that the manager wouldn't get on the phone to correct this error.

I wasn't washed for started I had to stop at the car wash just to clean the windows and vacuum out the car. I also had to stop and get some wipe's to clean the car. I spoke with the attendant before I left she said "I just cleaned the car out do you want me to clean it again" If indeed it was clean it need a sign to say it was. Very disappointed

Karen Rodriguez: I didn't even know that there was an Avis on Michigan Avenue, because I had just come from Enterprise.... Enterprise rental had a car on reserve for me and when I arrived there was no car. Needless to say I was very disappointed and so we google'd and found out that Avis was just down the street. After arriving the gentleman helping us was able to get us a car immediately! Now mind you it wasn't the car we hoped for, but nevertheless it was a car. Everything went fast and smooth and I am very grateful to Avis. I will use their service again.
K Washington: Once arrived at the office, I was given a car that had CLEAR damage to the front even though I had a reservation that was fully paid. Went back into the office and was told by the manager they had no other car and that she even needed a car. I was also told, being BLACK woman if I was having watermelon on for the holidays. VERY offensive. What this place needs is an overhaul of staff and training on how to deal with diversity. Clearly not every person that rents a car is in critical need of a car and to treated in such a way gives AVIS a bad name.

Ron Creager: Rented an SUV, through Avis, via a 3rd party called EconomyBookings.com. I don't think I even knew I was going through a 3rd party sight but regardless, this is an Avis booking. One of my colleagues is arriving a couple of hours early so I called Avis to add his name, so he can go get groceries, open the vacay rental, etc.This is where the problems started. Avis would not allow me to change add a name either via phone or website or the app. I tried several times and they said I had to go through Economy Bookings. Called them and they said they cannot do this without cancelling the reservation and possibly losing the SUV. Catch 22, as we need an SUV for this ski trip.Finally someone from Avis corporate says to call the local branch I am renting from. I have tried Several times, at different times (not busy times per the website) and after a lengthy wait, the call always defaults to the national call service (somewhere not in the United States).Effectively, I was not able to add another driver to this rental...seemingly the simplest possible thing to do... and will have to do so in person, creating a situation where my colleague has to sit around and wait for a couple of hours. Just unnecessary.The worst part is that I tried so many times to get a direct person from the branch on the phone and it is Impossible.Lessons, don't rent from a third party and don't expect any customer service from Avis. 3 hours of my life I will never get back!
Kara Grace: The employees at the counter are amazing! Helpful, kind, and clearly dealing with a lot. The reason I gave a one star review is because Avis does not stop bookings after they have been sold out which leads customers to believe they will for sure have a car, then get there and find out they are out of luck. This happened to me and it messed up my entire weekend. I felt terrible for the girl behind the counter. I totally understood it wasn’t her fault so there was no reason to say anything, but as I walked in someone was just finishing up yelling at her over this same issue.I think management not supporting their employee here is absolutely disgusting. There needs to be a new policy so cars aren’t oversold, and in the mean time make it more obvious that *** an online booking doesn’t actually guarantee anything *** so people leave the poor employees alone.Once again, desk staff was helpful and kind 10/10 but everything else?? 0/10

TD Ingram: Only reason for the one star is the fact that I actually received a vehicle. The how, what and why are a totally different subject and would not give any stars for.Your customers may sometimes need to extend a vehicle due to their employers and wanting them to stay a longer period of time. So changes may happen. You should atleast give a listen and try to work with them where all parties involved benefit, not just your company leaving a customer on the street in a different state.
