Patrick Danahy: I'd steer away from Batteries and Bulbs at all cost. I bought a deep cycle battery to power my diesel heater as I travel and after the first use one of the cells died. On my way to Alaska I stopped in Montana and they said they would have to test it before they could offer me anything. This was on a Saturday and I would have to wait until Monday to find an answer, but I had to be in Alaska by the next Saturday so couldn't wait around til Monday. The girl working said she would work it out no problem . They found out there was a dead cell in the battery but instead of refunding me they said I have to come to a store to get a refund. I bought a brand new battery since I was in a crunch so now I spent $700 basically on one battery now since they won't simply refund my credit card for the faulty battery. I've called the stores and corporate with no help. Stay away from Batteries Plus

Wallace Morey: They put in a new battery without checking the one in it to see if it was good or not. Afterwards it kept saying the battery wasn't compatible with the iPhone. So we had to take it back and have the old one put back in. Then went to the apple store and they said that the battery was fine and even updated it for no cost.

I have a battery which failed on me, I took it into the store and they confirmed the battery was bad, and would get replaced under warranty.They claimed later that week, and said they would call me. I waited from Monday until Friday with no call from them. I called in and was informed that they are working on getting a battery still, but promised me a manager would call me to confirm.I waited until Monday, no call. I called in, and a manager told me that the battery was on its way from their flint location, and would likely be available in the morning, and that they would call me.No call, I went into the store on Tuesday, and I was informed that no batter was there, and they were ordering one to fill that spot.So either the manager lied to me, or was wrong and never called me.TLDR: Management informed me on multiple occasions that they would call me, and they did not call me. They also refuse to swap to a similar model battery, or provide any type of refund.I will not be using batteries plus ever again.Update: I got my battery finally. The manager still seemed to act as though nothing wrong was done on their end. No attempt to apologize was made, and I was simply told they are too busy to call me back to update me during the process.This situation was in no way improved, and solidifies me never using batteries plus ever again.
William Bruce: Incompetence, excuses and prevarication seems to be the customer service model here. Called ahead to see if they could replace a battery. They checked the manufacturer, model number and verified they had one in stock and I could get my item back the same day I brought it in. I bring it in only ro find out the battery was actually in stock in a sister store, but they would have it the next morning and I could pick up the unit that afternoon. Called before driving over and received another excuse for why they didn't have the battery yet, but was assured they would have it the next morning and I could pick it up in the afternoon. I drove to the store prepared to hear another excuse the following afternoon. They hadn't even started it yet, saying they thought I was bringing the unit in. They found the unit on a other shelf, had to YouTube how to replace the battery,got it apart and told me they couldn't replace the battery after all, even though the battery they had was listed as the correct one. To make matters worse they left off the charge port cover and a screw. The unit is unusable now in the rain. Save your time, blood pressure, a d your money.

Come and visit them and you won't be disappointed.🙂

Kate Cameron: They are great with standard battery service, but this store does not have the bandwidth to handle phone service in the time-frame given on the website. Went in once and to they could not put in battery on Sunday, but if I made an online appointment, they could do the change. Made an appointment and got multiple text reminders. Drove 30 minutes, showed up, and told they had been very busy, and they could not perform the service in two hour, let one hour. I did complain, after all, all they needed to do was call andet me know, so I did not waste an hour for nothing. Made another appointment, but when I arrived, the manager said I had been abusive to his employees, and refused service. Unless you have an extra phone, and unlimited time, find another phone repair. I have had very good service at other Batteries Plus. This one is just poorly managed.
