West Marine: what do users think?
David Kloeckner: Helped me find a fuel filter for my Yamaha.
Robert Augustyn: Very friendly and had exactly what I needed
Bill Bennett: The woman currently working now doesn't even know how to read the part manual to get the part you need... Go somewhere else if it requires any assistance to get the part you need.
Jon Kelly: Drove all the way from Grand Ledge to find the store locked at 1:30 on a Saturday. Website says open until 5. Thanks for the call letting me know my stuff was in, then deciding to close early
Scott Wild: Great place to find your boating needs. Kinda of a weird spot but it works
S Wild: Great place! 1st time there an was very impressed on the selection. The staff was a lot of help
G A: Very friendly, helpful and courteous
Rob. V: Jim, Manager of The West Marine location in Lansing,mi was Extremely Helpful. I was on the hunt for a railblaza star HD mount and Jim called Railblaza up and I Now have my Mounts Coming in The Mail. Employees where really nice and helpful as well. Thanks Everyone down at West Marine.
Michael Vader Misner: Friendly and helpful staff.
Bob O: I've always liked West Marine. I picked up a new anchor today at a good price.
Hazen Briles: Getting parts for boat
Emily Lilly-lacca: Nice service by the employees
Roy Osterhout: If you need boat stuff, it's the place to go
Jason Reader: Knowledgeable and really helpful !!
Colonial Tinker: Had what i needed
Cheryl Niznak: Not helpful. High prices. Purchased Mercury 3.5 outboard. Took it to the lake. Brand new motor wouldn't start. A new motor should start. West Marine was not taking responsibility for selling a bad motor . Now we have to take it in and deal with Mercury directly. Who knows how long that will take. Bad choice going there. Don't go there.
Laura W: We were planning on grabbing a bunch of stuff at West Marine. They're pretty well wiped out of stock. No tubes. No life jackets. No truck deliveries in 4 weeks. The shelves look like they're going out of business. No public restroom even for customers. Exact cash or card only. Masks mandatory for entry. Staff was friendly.
Chas Petersen: Associates were very friendly and helpful. Shelves were light but they offered to send me what I was looking for.
Katrina McGinnis: It was wonderful Aloha West Marina they always have what I want very friendly people you're in you're out not too expensive I wouldn't go nowhere else
Andrew Denler: Great place, great workers. Helped me make the better decision for supplies.
Dan Ohagan: No gripe about the location. The service is good and they have lots of the things you need. My issue is with West Marine. The price gouging they engage in is jaw dropping. I once paid 70 some odd dollars for a standard fuel hose because I needed it that day. Only ever go to West Marine in an emergency. The emergency being that you really want to be on the water 😉.

Canvasback products and Service Corp: what do users think?
Donald Fuller: They do good work
T: Great service. Quality work. Good rates. Recommend this place!
Judy Davis: Terrible. Took a chair in have strap fixed. Took a week used it once strap tore apart where they fixed it. Just added material to old strap. Charged 18 dollar's. Took to another place in Lansing paid 15. For a repair on a repair. Tore chair apart fixed right.Do not recommend at all.
Ca All: The only reason I gave 1 Star is because it wouldn't let me give 0. I had a safety cover for my pool altered and they cut the straps that supports the whole cover and sewed them back on with 1" worth of stitching. Straps broke off immediately when I tried to put the cover on. Took it back to get the straps stitched back on and they charged me to fix their mistake. Strap broke off again as soon as I tried to put the cover back on. I had a printed out plan on how I needed it done and told them to not cut the straps, but they did their own thing and insisted that he's "done 100s of these and it was done right". I have $443 wrapped up in a cover that I threw away that says otherwise. Got another one done at a different shop for $300 and works great!! Would never go or send anybody to Canvasback again.
Steve Rusch: I had my boat cover made for a 16’ duck hunting boat in 2006ish. Great product!!! Has lasted for a long time and still keeps the rain, snow and debris out. I wanted to post today the cover has went above and beyond, We had a Ice storm branch fall on the middle part of the boat cover. The cover did not tear and the braces under the cover not broken. Amazing product. Thanks!!
Chris Chamberlain: Best prices in lansing area by far.
Al Bedford: Great business to work with for your canvas needs. I've had them repair a pop-up camper top and also had them make a mooring cover for my boat. Top-notch service and quality!
Kate Long: Our experience was simply exhausting, frustrating and still without usable canvas for our pop up. The project was pushed back an extra 4 weeks. According to our receipt, we were charged for repairs that were never done. When we asked for a refund for the repairs listed that were never done they refused to issue it arguing those were not included in final cost, even though they were listed. We were promised several times by the husband they would clean and treat the canvas and several times told by the wife they do not do that and she was not sure why we thought they would. We feel we paid way too much for the repairs they did, and didn’t do, and the headache we went through. One “repair” they did actually made it so there were holes in each corner for bugs and critters to climb into when it is popped up. The repair they didn’t do left the canvas too small for our pop up. They suggested we permanently altering the support bars for the beds instead of just doing the job we asked them to do to add more fabric around the door. Simply awful…and now we don’t have time to clean the canvas ourselves before our trip which is dirtier than when we dropped it off to them. TERRIBLE customer service. Not a professional business. We are completely unsatisfied.
Joseph Finlay: My M35A3 Cargo Cover needed some patching. Canvasback was able to repair and clean the cargo cover and did a good job with it.

Manitou Pontoon Boats: what do users think?
Jay Birsch: We bought our boat at Moss Marine This is the best boat ever and Gary and Mallory were awesome! Highly recommend!!!
Edward Henley: Extreme props & shout outs,To all the employees at Manitou. For coming out and assisting, fishing it forward Michigan. In this year's 2019 Event, you brought two beautiful boats with you, and a team of people that were so helpful with the setup of the event 😁, every veteran that went on your both love the way they handled an the comfortability, they offered. Can't wait to see you guys next year, Edward Henley founder fishing it forward Michigan.
Jason Muscarella: 2022 oasis 25 Bimini top has broken off from the rail 3 times bending and scratching side paneling etc. There using stainless steel latches on plastic connectors . Out of 10 plastic connectors 4 have sheard completely off causing Bimini top to come crashing down on my family. There trying to skimp out on good parts but charge the same $ . Well I will tell you it may cost them a lawsuit in the future. I purchased a COVID 19 boat and let me tell you it shows. There are a ton of things wrong with this tritoon. The workman ship and pride is just not there in puting this boat together stiching, panels etc.I wouldn't recommend a manatou.t
Lindsey Foley: Best boats you can buy.
Russ Kopasz: Best pontoon boat on the market. The V-Toon technology is incredible!
Nick Doetsch: I have never been on a better riding pontoon boat in my life! The Manitou tritoons are literally like putting your couch in the water and mixing it with a rollercoaster. Thrilled we are the exclusive dealer for all of Maryland and can't wait to get more happy excited families out on the water to enjoy that ride!
Lauren Hale: The manitou Tritons ride great. Perfect for the Chesapeake bay!!
john gorrie: 55k ponton boat and maybe 8 trips in salt water and about 10 trips in fresh water with less than 35 hours on the boat total. its 6 months old and went to the dealer 3 months ago to replace the rub rail powder coat flaking off and basically turning from black to grey. the dealer finally advised manitou wont fix it. i will hire an attorney next. see how they handle it after that. look at this rub rail with maybe 3 months of use this summer. do not purchase
Kayla White: Where to start first of all this place is not a very good place in the past year they have had someone OD in their bathroom they let they're higher up people (supervisor) bully and harass their team members. When you bring it up to someone higher about the harassment they brush it off and they do not do anything about it. They will hire any John Doe off the streets. A supervisor well push a team member to his limits to the point where that team member is frustrated. This place used to be a fun place for a team member to work at but now that team member was pushed to his limits and stuck up for himself which resolved and to him getting fired. Someone should look into harassment investigation on that supervisor. They will also tell you, you are a team leader and make you do team leader stuff and then they will demote you without notification that you are no longer a team leader and still make you do team leader work. Very disappointed in this place
George: The customer service that I received from Manitou was above and beyond my expectations. Their friendly staff performed additional research to answer my questions and responded to me without hesitation.
Mario Barahona: Customized pontoons.

Grand Pointe Marina of Lansing: what do users think?
Jeff Longtine: Bought a new ranger from Grand pointe lansing , would use them again
Jim Nicholas: The entire sales and service team have been excellent to deal with. I had some warranty work completed with them this winter. There were a couple manufacturer's defects in the gelcoat of our 2022 Monterey 238SS. Their body shop did an amazing job restoring the issues to showroom new! When I picked it up, they advocated for us with the factory since they were trying to deny the claim. They went to bat for us and even sent it back to their body shop to ensure it was done to their satisfaction, as if it was their own boat. What wonderful, caring service. Thanks again to the entire service staff at Dimondale, you are wonderful at customer service and satisfaction! Can't wait for another great season and a season we don't have to stare at the gelcoat defects. Cheers to you all!
Brittney Sebring: We have been coming to Grand Pointe Marina for over a decade and always recommend to them to others. Our experience is great every time. Jeff and Jay in service are always a pleasure to work with. Always friendly, knowledgeable, and keeps us up to date in the process! I have had great experiences with my new boat at both the Lansing and Sterling Heights location. Thank you for wonderful service. I love my new boat!
Thomas Bovee: I can't say enough good about Grand Pointe Marina. Due to no fault of the Sterling Heights store there was an issue with the boat I purchased, a 2022 tritoon. Bottom line, Grand Pointe's owner and staff worked with me to keep me a happy customer and now I have a 2023 of the same model.Their professionalism and honesty allows me to recommend them to anyone considering purchasing a boat, of any kind.
Al Levy: In this day and age it's tough to find a Caring Business. No attitudes and they even call you back. I can only give them a 5 star but they really deserve a 10. I've been boating over 50 years and I must say NONE BETTER
Kris Vogiatzakis: I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience as an out of town purchaser of a Blackfin 272cc from your dealership. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to par with what I had hoped for. When my transport guy arrived to pick up the boat, it was not ready as previously discussed. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that you had attempted to ship the boat on a damaged trailer instead of the one that we had previously agreed upon. While my transport guy was able to catch this mistake and you were able to switch the boat to another trailer, I was further disappointed when the trailer arrived with damage to the back end.To make matters worse, while I was expecting certain accessories to be included with the boat, they were not installed upon arrival. You had agreed to ship them out to me, but after two years and multiple conversations with Chris, they never arrived. This lack of follow-through and communication was incredibly disappointing. While Jason was initially very good at his job, I must say that he ended up being one of the worst salespeople I have ever had to do business with. As a result of my experience with your dealership, I cannot in good conscience recommend anyone purchase a boat from you. In fact, I would caution Blackfin against allowing your dealership to represent their boats in the future.Overall, I found my experience with your dealership to be quite disgraceful. I strongly urge you to improve your customer service and communication going forward to avoid similar negative experiences for future customers.Kris
Christopher Hines: I picked up my new boat and had a couple issues with it that they still haven't addressed other than that they aren't to bad to deal with. Figured spending as much as I did I wouldn't have any issues with my boat
loren Schultz: Boat came with missing parts/gas tank. No response from anyone at the marina. Highly unprofessional
caryn de la Rosa: We purchased a new 2022 Monterey 258 SS and what a wonderful experience from start to finish. Doug Roosien was extremely helpful and attentive. We would definitely recommend him and the Marina for all of your boating needs!
Paul Valley: I want thank everyone who help with the purchase of my my new 2023 tracker targa v-18 wt . Scott was the salesman who I was talking to with the help of others on the sales floor .top notch people to deal with . I had one issue before taking the boat and warranty mg and his employees took charge of the problem and off I went . The walk though with the service mg was a lot of fun and he was right on top of any questions I had and made sure I was completely satisfied .
Todd Martinson: Don't trust this place. I gave a deposit on a boat that was supposedly coming in but later they told me that the order was cancel with the factory. Been working to get our deposit back for months. The sales guy said that our folder is sitting on the owners desk, Chris, waiting for him to to approve the return of the deposit. And waiting. - Update, got my deposit back 8-9 months of waiting.
jeffrey peck: These guys ROCK... GREAT service and parts department.
Michael Harris: Very friendly people and good service.
Tony Pluger: Great people to work with. Stayed in touch and answered questions from start to finish. Would recommend 100%!! Thank you for the new boat.
Dawn Engel: We purchased a new 2022 Sea Pro 239 dlx that came with a ski tow bar. We asked them to remove it leaving 16 holes. Jay is the technician that worked on our boat. We couldn't be happy with his work hiding those holes. Huge shout out and many thanks to Jay for treating our boat like his own. Talented man!
Roger Chouff: Working with Doug and these guys has been a great experience. Bought a boat from them all the way from NC and they met with me on their day off to do sea trials and couldn’t be happier with their response and customer service!!
Mark Ducharm: They may be able to fix boats but they sure don't understand no wake zone when they fly down the river....
Claude Card: Would rate my experience lower if I could. Make sure you triple check over the whole boat and trailer very thoroughly before you buy. Purchased boat in Nov 2020. One of the brake calipers on the trailer came loose after less than a month of owning the boat. Had to wait for months for them to repair it, thankfully the first time they gave me a loaner trailer to use. When the winch arm broke the first time they installed one that was clearly not meant for my trailer, but at least I could still use the boat. Then the brakes on the other side of the trailer came loose so they decided instead of replacing the trailer thats had multiple issues, they were going to replace the axle, weeks longer waiting on parts and installation. After 11 months with the boat and multiple fixes, the winch arm broke a 2nd time and the compartment with the battery had broken welds, the battery was in the haul of the boat. Dropped off boat December 2021 to get repaired, had just filled the gas to full and had just installed brand new 100Ah lithium batteries. Was told then they had to send back to the factory. March rolls around and I haven't heard from anyone and I was just about to call to see if the boat was ready and they call me to tell me to come empty the boat so they could send it to the factory. 3 months it sat at the marina when it should have been getting fixed. I get the boat back in June of 2022, 6 months after I had dropped it off and it had a quarter tank of gas and my brand new batteries were filthy. Luckily I said something about the fuel while I was there and they filled it, but I guess I should have checked the trolling batteries too. Definitely looks like they were used or at the very least not taken care of properly while they were out of my boat. Make sure you take photos of everything when you drop your boat off for service and check the level of gas in your tank if you decide to use their services.
Rob C: Associates were very polite, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to check my boat over
scott milks: What a Great experience ! Jeff was amazing to work with and has a great sense of humor . To the service dept at grand pointe Thank you for getting me back on the H2O.
Tim S: Shopped here for new pontoon after great experience in past. They had no new stock in my range, but are on the lookout for me
