Spare Time Entertainment Center: what do users think?
Lee Esch: Food is overpriced, the pizza reminded me way too much of Digiorno. The bowling alley is very nice though.
Paula Stephens: Went in for a soda since I was stuck at Tuffy next door and no pop machine. The bartender was even sweet and gave me a quarter so I could use all my change to pay for the pop.
K D Flagg: Attended an event sponsored by the Omega's.
Katie Boden: We were in town for a horse show. Looking for fun things to do with our daughter. The amount of things they offer here is amazing. We did a breakout room, bumper cars, arcade. We didn't even have time to bowl or play volleyball. The arcade was clean and had SO many cool options to play. Very well done.
Justin Garcia: $30 an hour $4 for shoes
Steve B: This place was absolutely fabulous.. The staff was extremely friendly. They made it very easy for us to have A-blast. I would recommend This place to anybody with small kids or teenagers for a birthday party or just a fun get together.. They have so many games in their arcade surely will not let your kids down.
Nina Garza: It has always been a great place to bowl the food at the snack bar area is ridiculously overpriced. I ordered a 14" or 16" pizza, 2 orders of boneless chicken, and 2 pitchers of soda, and it came up to $84.00
presyce rogers: Good times!!!!
robert bradford: Great time
Bill Richardson: Good service good people. Treated us well and made the event great!
wes hood: Good family fun.
B Rich: Very dry lanes, very expensive compared to other places.
Marie Reeder: I don't do reviews usually, but I wanted to share my experience. The customer service that my family received today was phenomenal. The man who ran the register to get us the lane, the man who was serving drinks and food and the woman who redeemed tickets were all amazing. This was an incredibly kid friendly experience and I will never go to any other arcade or bowling alley. I highly recommend Spare Time.
Alex Ellis: It's a busy place most days, but they have always treated us well! Definitely recommend!
Dana Ester: I am not sure why I gave this place one star. I believe at the time there was a employee scamming ppl credit cards. Honestly this place is the fun place to be. Activities for all ages and they just keep getting better. So 5yrs later I am giving it 5✨
Ash E: If I could give it ZERO stars I would. Incorrect scores, lanes closing mid game, lanes just plain breaking in the middle of a game and having to go to another lane and then THAT one being broken too! Terrible and stressful experience, had to leave because it was unbearable to play and get the wrong scores constantly.
Sara: Sat and waited for 30+ min without any acknowledgment from the server. It wasn't very busy, either. Left and was served right away at City Limits.
Susan Burke: Nice, clean, family atmosphere & the pizza my friend and I shared wad delicious.
Nicole Bell: This was the worse experience I have ever had. The service was horrible and slow. Our waitress was rude, did not refill anything ever. Was not told about the automatic tip of almost $40 that was not at all deserved. Over priced greasy burgers and pizza was served. The alcohol drinks served were disgusting. 10/10 do not recommend this place to nobody.
james schonfelder: I dont normally complain but the service was terrible. On top of that 3 drinks, 2 tenders and some fries cost $70! What a waste save your money for another attraction!
Meister: The escape room was fun but the rest of the place seemed dumpy. Arcade was really overpriced. Our lane kept reseting pins incorrectly or knocking them over, and the score counter was wildly off

Royal Scot Golf & Bowl: what do users think?
Shannon Nachtmann: Nice place, just ok food, slightly pricey
Jenifer Perez: Love this
Luz Pura: The nasally little old guy at the front counter is rude. Bad customer service skills. Not sure why he's up there.Poorly maintained facilities. Be ready to ask for your ball to get unstuck multiple times and to adjust the score manually. Careful not to let the taped up floor mess your bowling shoes up.
Aimee Atwell: super fun
Ryan Canham: I used to love going to this place but they have gotten too greedy. They used to let you get pay games and let you practice on sunday morning for cheap. Now they want you to pay by the hour every single time, even on a Thursday morning. This wouldnt be that bad if the pin setters and ball return didnt constanly get stuck. The service has also gone down hill, i will get there and the counter is empty for 5-10 minutes. when they are there the kid behind the counter is rude and unhelpfull. The servers are the only good thing good staff at this establishment. Nice swift and polite.
Jessica C: Fun and clean bowling alley!!
Laurel Ekin: Food is slow and subpar. Took one hour to get a pizza. Staff was not good. Arcade is way overpriced. 1$ per any game even a pinball game. Front desk was overstuffed and overwhelmed
Melanie x: awful. ordered food when we got here and we are bowling for 2 hours. we have 32 minutes left to bowl and still NO food. never ordering again.
Mike McKee: Very nice place to bowl.
Lance Kortesoja: Ordered a "Fat Tire" beer as soon as I had the first taste I knew it was off, as I've had plenty. Made a comment to the bartender that I might have been served the wrong beer accidently, which she said "that's just the color of our fat tire" which I hadn't even noticed til then. The color deft did not match. Definitely was not given a fat tire, or their lines need to be cleaned / the beer was expired. Tasted terrible and definitely don't appreciate being lied too but honestly she might not of known, but I'm assuming they may have, based on her response.Didn't say anything else as it was not worth complaining over. But I would highly recommend not ordering any beer or food unless canned from this place if proper maintance is not being performed. Not worth the risk of getting sick if there are bigger issues at play here.Otherwise two stars for a good bowling experience. Proper beer wouldn't turn me into a better bowler that is for sure.
Michael Dease: Great place to go bowling, and they have a full onsite pro shop with nice folks working there. I take my family here frequently, and we enjoy the food, drink, and atmosphere. The lanes are good; but the last couple of months I’ve been out on lanes with broken number systems- would be nice if those could get fixed for my kids. I bowled a 46 last week, maybe I need them too!
Chantail Evans: Affordable, and the staff was helpful.
Ryan Schafer: Fun place to go bowling! Lots of lane options!
Kyle Spitzley: Tell me why I was charged 35$ for two people to bowl for an hour, and we both brought our own shoes? Garbage unhelpful staff
Don: BEWARE!!!!!. Stay away from this bowling alley. They don't use proper oil patterns on lanes. They (Todd) are not honest about how they oil Lanes. Supposed to be HOUSE SHOT but they spread EXTRA HEAVY oil from gutter to gutter all the way down so any hook is impossible! Even with freshly detoxed and resurfaced ZEN!!!! 11/6/22 I proved this by showing Dave the pro the actual faulty oil patterns and he admitted the oil was wrong preventing any hook. They keep switching oil patterns and lying about it so you must keep buying new balls to keep up. Racket grift. They start with light oil so you buy Rhino. Then increase to medium oil so buy Zen. Then increase to extra heavy so you must buy urethane being forced to bowl straight to pocket no hook. Plus a spare ball. $250per ball. About $1,000. Plus multiple bags!!! Ball carriers!! That's why everyone needs to carry at least 4 balls nowadays. Dave the pro tried to convince me the weather outside was preventing my freshly detoxed resurfaced ZEN ball from ANY hook. I'm a 211 average bowler. Run away!!!! Unless you like bowling with zero hook. Like bowling on ICE. Many of their lanes go several days between conditioning which obviously makes them messy sloppy with massive CARRY DOWN even if oiled properly a week ago. They told me it was to save money on the lane oil. OMG. After all that they made clear no intention of improving or changing anything. I have complained for 6 weeks to be totally ignored. I'm done here. Going to City Limits. I found my hook at City Limits where they know how to apply oil patterns properly.
Steve B: Maannnn.... idk about this place... i give 5 stars 🌟 so this review will probably get overlooked by the owner. This way you all hopefully see it. Been going here since i was a kid, however the charm has worn off for sure. JUST RUDE AF. no staff from the floor to the kitchen. Bar staff RUDE AF and will lie their a$$ off about your food and the time it will take. PROVIDE IT WHEN IT TOOK 55 MINUTES TO GET A CLUB AND 3 CHIX STRIPS AND STAFF KEEPS SAYING "JUST WAITING FOR THE STRIPS." TO GET ALL THE FOOD COLD AF. look have waited for food many times but just tell the truth. They had no one to run the food 😕 well no one with normal services skill. The owner is unwilling to pay for good help. Would strongly recommend to avoid this place. 👌Also if you are on league's you probably won't get this because this owner has definitely over priorities league's over family fun. Also will lie when you call to see if lanes are open. Will lie about lane wait time. And when you tey to ask whats going on to the staff you will be treated acoustically.
Morgan Livermore-Grumley: Complete joke! If I could leave zero stars I would. Called to ask if the pro shop was open and confirmed they were open until 6 pm today. Made the 40 minute drive and when we get there the pro shop closed. They closed less than 30 minutes after I had called! Clearly the people who answer your phones don't know what they are talking about. Even worse this isn't the first time this has happened. Would not recommend this place and we will be finding somewhere else for our bowling needs.
Susanlyn Huddleston Hall: We were placed in between two very loud kid parties to start with and then a Hispanic league came in. They plugged in their BOOM box and blasted their music so loudly we couldn’t even hear the person next to us speaking. So rude & surprising this was allowed.
Jim Dixon: Good place to bowl – literally best in mid-Michigan especially now with new permanent owners/management. Todd runs things much better and if you need anything custom or otherwise pertaining to your equipment - Dave in the Pro shop is the pro you want to see.
cindy tk: The bowling alley was awfully clean and well lit. Bartender was friendly and the wait staff were awesome.
Emily Evans: My experience was awesome

Tara Lynn Miller: First time there on Mothers Day. Wait staff were nice, even though tired. They pushed through it with such friendliness and great service. Did I mention their burger is amazing? Travis Stockenauer: The bartender should be fired!! Personally seen her swear at 3 people because she was "too busy to take any orders or do any lotto" if you can't take the busyness DONT BE A BARTENDER!!! Horrible customer service. Will never come to this location again
T B (The Monkey's Uncle): Been here several times, enjoyed the food and generally had a good time.No more.Service was awful. Kid at the desk seriously seemed like he was deaf and tranquilized. Speak to him and he stares blankly back at you. For a L...O....N...G... Time. Lanes malfunction, speak to him again. He stares blankly until I finally walk away. We finally just start our games over.Waitress? Nowhere to be found. Were they busy? Well it was full but I assume the expect to be full. No excuse for providing no service. Staff at the bar was great but actual server was a ghost.Atmosphere? A party or 2 going on which is fine, I've had kid parties here myself. However, my party was contained to the lanes we had rented. No such courtesy from the current group. Kind of sucks not having a table available with your lane. They eventually took mercy and consolidated so my group could sit/eat.Atmosphere part 2....why would you allow a group of 12+ to occupy 1 lane? That's what they did next to us. We were treated to an entire delegation of 3rd world ambassadors all bowling on a single lane and all crowding the space between the ball return and the foul line. Including in MY lane! They kept bowling with My ball! We couldn't even see our lane from our table with this mob hanging out. Fragrant people too! If you're charging $30/hour for a lane do me a favor and require the folks in adjacent lanes to limit the size of the party to maybe 4-6 per lane? I'd like to be able to actually use the lane I paid for.
Victoria Butler: I took some seniors there recently and the staff on the bowling floor went above and beyond for our group and provided great customer service.
hunter pendell: Had fun till our lane broke and couldn’t use the rest of our time bowling

Emily R: I’ve been here multiple times for bowling and always have bad service once sitting down. Idk if it’s because we are young 20 year olds but a serve never comes and greets us. Today the serve went to the table next to us (that came in after we did) and then to the table behind us. Never came to us once in the 2 hrs we were there. I find it ridiculous if we have to go to the bar and ask to be waited on when clearly the servers come to the tables. Be a serve myself I know it’s difficult but it was not busy enough to neglect a table. Bowling’s fine but service is bad.

Char-Lanes Inc: what do users think?
Katie Mccubbin: Fun
Ezra Soria: This is a stellar establishment, lanes work, ball doesnt seem to get lost in the return, and excellent customer service. This is a pay by the game ally, so this is great if your a league bowler trying to get some practice in. I will highly recommend them over their competition. I am sad I havent come here years ago.
Sierra E: Very rude, I asked if there were any lanes open and they said no, so I asked could you give me an estimate of how long? They said no. No estimate could take hour and a half to 2 hours. Last lane just closed and then hung up without anything else said. He was very irritated
Michelle Swafford: 2/26/22 the older man working today hates his job. Rude and unprofessional. Came to bowl and ended up calling friends to cancel because of him. Do better, if you don't like people find another job!
Austin Heading: I always enjoy this place. Good drinks and clean. The prices aren't too bad either.
Bryan Smith: Good, small town bowling alley. staff is helpful and accommodating
bernie kilmartin: Had my granddaughters birthday party there today. The owner was amazing. Everything turned out perfect. Can't judge a book by its cover. This place is a super cool place. I will be back 100%.
Rodney Stone: I think it's a nice bowling alley 🎳 😊
Michael Kensington: Bowling lanes are nice. A little outdated in technology. Lots of selections for house Bowling balls if you don't have your own. Service for Food and/or Pop was slow. It was a Sunday afternoon and all but still could have been better. I would go bowl here again as it offers the Phantom Wax pattern.
Kirk VanDeMoortel: Great pro shop, under staffed on the backend causing delay due to our lane not resetting correctly. Small town feel in this little gem. Recommend giving it a try.
Katie Austin: friendly staff reasonable proces
Jeff Heeney: Um yes please, great small town setup and great staff up front. Had a blast and will be back. Great selection of range balls for a small town place.Update, we went back, the old man behind the counter is rude and caused rage from many of the 20 guests we brought. Unfriendly to the kids is what really set everyone off. I'm not sure if we can blame inflation. But nearly 4.50 for one game of bowling seems a little crazy.
Ryan Benbow: I bowl there on a adult handicap league. Every summer. I can't wait for new years eve bowling
Nicole Ciucci: Great place for affordable family fun
Chris: Good fun, staff was nice, everything worked as expected (except my bowling skills)
James Higginbotttom: Nice bowling alley, wonderful staff!
Steve Foster: It’s a bowling alley.
Eric Robinson: Small but friendly and nothing was really open just the lanes. Looks like it needs more business
Tiffany Groves: Had a great time with my family bowling. The gentleman working was extremely nice and the bowling alley was very clean. Highly recommend!
Michael Totten: Bowled a few gamesHad fun everything works correctly no issues
Anna Youngs: Great place

City Limits Mason: what do users think?
Kurkus Maximus: Great food, great trivia , well at least it was, they canceled trivia and haven't brought it back as of yet
Vanessa Scott: Lanes were kind of dry but still good bowling. Drinks were amazing. Not super busy for a spring time monday. Prices were great and people were friendly.
Joshua Barnes: Huge food and drink menu. Great service.
Jack Hoffman: Fun place. Lots of stuff for the kiddos.
Carol Adams: Amazing pizza! Very family friendly. Staff is super nice and everyone is so helpful. They were having a child birthday 🎉 party next to our going away party. Wish u would have taken more photos ....especially of the guy next to ùs who 🎳 bowled a perfect game.
Stanley Arntson: Quick and delicious food. Friendly staff. The service was exceptional. Only got better.A little pricey for a garden salad, but still a great place to go. After a great deal of thoughts, I have come to the conclusion that the quality of the food at City Limits is not what it used to be and just getting worse
Brett: Better food than a bowling alley deserves. Philly cheese steak was terrific.
Erica Mesaeh: We had so much fun bowling and going in the arcade, and the restaurant was great also. We waited about an hour to bowl on a Sunday. There are servers that come around while bowling.Overall, it was a really good experience.
Colton Warren: Extremely rude service, not an impressive establishment. No reason to go here.
Lauryn Love: Our 10 person party called the morning we were planning on going to this location for dinner and were told that they would be able to accommodate us without issue and didn't need us to make any sort of reservation. We showed up for dinner, waited 45 min, and they attempted to split us between a booth and table that were separated. We waited another 30-45 min for a table to open to seat all of us. When the new table was ready, they had shoved 10 chairs at a table set for 8 (one end was pushed against a wall). We had to ask them for an additional table in order to fit us all. The food was hit or miss - some was good, some was awful. The only good thing about this experience was the waitress who did a great job.
Jeff Heeney: So much better than it used to be. The food is great. The staff are great
Chris Barcelon: Food was good, drink was better!
Golden State Kicks: Unfortunately zero was not an option! Never in 40 years have I been insulted, and disrespected in less than 3 minutes! The staff lacks any resemblance of professional decorum and the establishment caters to a certain demographic that requires no further explanation! The attendant put my party of 6 between 2 parties of 10 and absolutely no where to sit! After requesting another available lane which approximately 3 were vacant, I was told if I didn’t like it I could leave! Attempted to overlook the disgusting remark and began to try to bowl! Literally the lane broke seconds later and when asked for another lane I was told yet again if I didn’t like it I could leave! By this point I took the offer and requested a refund! Things escalated as the happy to have a job employee had the gall to only offer half back because he refused to refund my shoe rental which I had on feet for less than 60 seconds! This place is trash and I look forward to the doors closing permanently!
Questions My Kids Ask: Great atmosphere in dining room and bar. Good wings and bleu cheese dressing! Nice waitstaff as well.
Crystalynn Foltz: One of our favorite places in our awesome town!
Randy Bowen: This place is fun and owners cool
Brian Rector: Good time bowling and good burgers
Paula Sherman: They accommodated our party of 16, and had no issue doing it. The wait staff is always friendly and very good! We love the games after dinner, if we can’t squeeze in a bowling game. Highly recommend!
Edward Samulak: Ribs
Rosalie Wiegand: Great place, great food and amazing staff.
Austin Karlzen: We went for a birthday celebration and there was an hour wait for dinner and an hour wait for bowling(both of which we were there for). We left and went down to the Los Tres Amigos instead of waiting and they gave us an electronic hockey puck to page us when our lane is available. We got back just in time to be told yeah I was just about to page you" and proceeded to stand around for 15 minutes waiting for them to give us shoes and a lane. We get to the lane and from there we had plenty of fun. The Haslett location was booked up for an hour and half before we got to this location so we just weren't having much for luck that night. It wasn't the best birthday outing we could have given to our friend but bowling with their friends was all they wanted to do and about most of us could afford.
