Royal Scot Golf & Bowl: what do users think?
Shannon Nachtmann: Nice place, just ok food, slightly pricey
Jenifer Perez: Love this
Luz Pura: The nasally little old guy at the front counter is rude. Bad customer service skills. Not sure why he's up there.Poorly maintained facilities. Be ready to ask for your ball to get unstuck multiple times and to adjust the score manually. Careful not to let the taped up floor mess your bowling shoes up.
Aimee Atwell: super fun
Ryan Canham: I used to love going to this place but they have gotten too greedy. They used to let you get pay games and let you practice on sunday morning for cheap. Now they want you to pay by the hour every single time, even on a Thursday morning. This wouldnt be that bad if the pin setters and ball return didnt constanly get stuck. The service has also gone down hill, i will get there and the counter is empty for 5-10 minutes. when they are there the kid behind the counter is rude and unhelpfull. The servers are the only good thing good staff at this establishment. Nice swift and polite.
Jessica C: Fun and clean bowling alley!!
Laurel Ekin: Food is slow and subpar. Took one hour to get a pizza. Staff was not good. Arcade is way overpriced. 1$ per any game even a pinball game. Front desk was overstuffed and overwhelmed
Melanie x: awful. ordered food when we got here and we are bowling for 2 hours. we have 32 minutes left to bowl and still NO food. never ordering again.
Mike McKee: Very nice place to bowl.
Lance Kortesoja: Ordered a "Fat Tire" beer as soon as I had the first taste I knew it was off, as I've had plenty. Made a comment to the bartender that I might have been served the wrong beer accidently, which she said "that's just the color of our fat tire" which I hadn't even noticed til then. The color deft did not match. Definitely was not given a fat tire, or their lines need to be cleaned / the beer was expired. Tasted terrible and definitely don't appreciate being lied too but honestly she might not of known, but I'm assuming they may have, based on her response.Didn't say anything else as it was not worth complaining over. But I would highly recommend not ordering any beer or food unless canned from this place if proper maintance is not being performed. Not worth the risk of getting sick if there are bigger issues at play here.Otherwise two stars for a good bowling experience. Proper beer wouldn't turn me into a better bowler that is for sure.
Michael Dease: Great place to go bowling, and they have a full onsite pro shop with nice folks working there. I take my family here frequently, and we enjoy the food, drink, and atmosphere. The lanes are good; but the last couple of months I’ve been out on lanes with broken number systems- would be nice if those could get fixed for my kids. I bowled a 46 last week, maybe I need them too!
Chantail Evans: Affordable, and the staff was helpful.
Ryan Schafer: Fun place to go bowling! Lots of lane options!
Kyle Spitzley: Tell me why I was charged 35$ for two people to bowl for an hour, and we both brought our own shoes? Garbage unhelpful staff
Don: BEWARE!!!!!. Stay away from this bowling alley. They don't use proper oil patterns on lanes. They (Todd) are not honest about how they oil Lanes. Supposed to be HOUSE SHOT but they spread EXTRA HEAVY oil from gutter to gutter all the way down so any hook is impossible! Even with freshly detoxed and resurfaced ZEN!!!! 11/6/22 I proved this by showing Dave the pro the actual faulty oil patterns and he admitted the oil was wrong preventing any hook. They keep switching oil patterns and lying about it so you must keep buying new balls to keep up. Racket grift. They start with light oil so you buy Rhino. Then increase to medium oil so buy Zen. Then increase to extra heavy so you must buy urethane being forced to bowl straight to pocket no hook. Plus a spare ball. $250per ball. About $1,000. Plus multiple bags!!! Ball carriers!! That's why everyone needs to carry at least 4 balls nowadays. Dave the pro tried to convince me the weather outside was preventing my freshly detoxed resurfaced ZEN ball from ANY hook. I'm a 211 average bowler. Run away!!!! Unless you like bowling with zero hook. Like bowling on ICE. Many of their lanes go several days between conditioning which obviously makes them messy sloppy with massive CARRY DOWN even if oiled properly a week ago. They told me it was to save money on the lane oil. OMG. After all that they made clear no intention of improving or changing anything. I have complained for 6 weeks to be totally ignored. I'm done here. Going to City Limits. I found my hook at City Limits where they know how to apply oil patterns properly.
Steve B: Maannnn.... idk about this place... i give 5 stars 🌟 so this review will probably get overlooked by the owner. This way you all hopefully see it. Been going here since i was a kid, however the charm has worn off for sure. JUST RUDE AF. no staff from the floor to the kitchen. Bar staff RUDE AF and will lie their a$$ off about your food and the time it will take. PROVIDE IT WHEN IT TOOK 55 MINUTES TO GET A CLUB AND 3 CHIX STRIPS AND STAFF KEEPS SAYING "JUST WAITING FOR THE STRIPS." TO GET ALL THE FOOD COLD AF. look have waited for food many times but just tell the truth. They had no one to run the food 😕 well no one with normal services skill. The owner is unwilling to pay for good help. Would strongly recommend to avoid this place. 👌Also if you are on league's you probably won't get this because this owner has definitely over priorities league's over family fun. Also will lie when you call to see if lanes are open. Will lie about lane wait time. And when you tey to ask whats going on to the staff you will be treated acoustically.
Morgan Livermore-Grumley: Complete joke! If I could leave zero stars I would. Called to ask if the pro shop was open and confirmed they were open until 6 pm today. Made the 40 minute drive and when we get there the pro shop closed. They closed less than 30 minutes after I had called! Clearly the people who answer your phones don't know what they are talking about. Even worse this isn't the first time this has happened. Would not recommend this place and we will be finding somewhere else for our bowling needs.
Susanlyn Huddleston Hall: We were placed in between two very loud kid parties to start with and then a Hispanic league came in. They plugged in their BOOM box and blasted their music so loudly we couldn’t even hear the person next to us speaking. So rude & surprising this was allowed.
Jim Dixon: Good place to bowl – literally best in mid-Michigan especially now with new permanent owners/management. Todd runs things much better and if you need anything custom or otherwise pertaining to your equipment - Dave in the Pro shop is the pro you want to see.
cindy tk: The bowling alley was awfully clean and well lit. Bartender was friendly and the wait staff were awesome.
Emily Evans: My experience was awesome
