When she checked in with the desk after the original etr, they told her 30 min, then an hour later when she asked, instead of sincerely apologizing for making her and others who count on her for a ride late to work and failing to meet the several times they'd provided, 3 grown men ganged up on her and insulted her. Bob at the front desk remained professional and kind. Recommend you go elsewhere...
Phil Damico: Very fair price wise. Family owned. Cool local business. They also clearly know what their doing. No extra charges for putting your car on their diagnostic machine which u can get done free at any parts store usually. A good trustworthy place and they did great work. When you as a customer make an online appointment you're not ordering anything. It comes through to my work email and someone either confirms your appointment threw email or calls which ever you choose to be contacted. I am incredibly grateful to the entire staff and highly recommend the service at this family-owned business!

Steve Charteris: The good:I talked to Jared initially and he was knowledgeable and helped select the tires I needed. He said to call the following week since he had to order them.The not so good:I called Tuesday afternoon and was told the tires were in. I asked when I could come in and was told by the lady on the phone to come in at 8am and they can be done in an hour. I came in at 8am and was told it wouldn't be an hour. It ended up taking about 3.5 hours. This isn't an unreasonable time, the issue is being told it would be an hour. I don't need to be the top priority but I like to have reasonable expectations set so I can plan accordingly.The interesting:One of the tires sprung a leak and day i got it and I called. I was told to bring it in right away. I brought it in and the lady at the desk took my keys without saying a word to me. I just wanted to know what the plan was but got nothing. I wasn't in a bad mood when I came back (things happen) but I was after this. I think it is reasonable to want to know what the plan is when something like this happens.The tire technician fixed it and was very kind and knowledgeable though.This would be 5 stars if customer service was better, but 3 stars as it stands. I understand people can have off days so I wouldn't say don't bring your car here, but I just wanted to share the good and bad of my experience.

His opinion on matters involving vehicles holds weight.I put about 30k miles on my 18 foot trailer and diesel transit every year, so having a good general service place is a must. It's usually a massive headache, especially since I'm only home from Monday - Wednesday and travel for gigs Th-Sun. But Affordable Tire & Service Center is legit. Their prices are extremely fair and they have some real talent in their service staff. Everyone is knowledgable and friendly - and they always seem like they're having a good time. Jared, in particular, is a super friendly and helpful dude. They'll let you know if a particular fix is going to be an unnecessary expense, which I always super appreciate. They saved me a lot of money on repairs, diesel oil changes, and, of course, tire replacement (my rig has 10 tires in total).This is top notch local business and I'm certain you'll be more than pleased with your service.

matt clara: I bought a used car and it started going clunk and I took it to Ryan's and they couldn't find the clunk, but on the way home it was even clunkier than before, so I took it to the dealer who found a bracket mounting the sway bar had come off (and in fairness, it was an intermittent problem until I drove home from Ryan's, so it was harder to diagnose up until that point) so I called Ryans and told them and they said well bring it back, we can beat their price plus a little extra to make it right, and that's what they did. When problems happen, the measure of the company is how well they deal with it, and you can't ask more than what Ryan's did in this case. They are fair and very honest and reasonably priced, too. I will definitely keep using Ryan's in the future.Service:Steering suspension repair

They are good at what they do, have fair prices and most importantly they are honest and don't try to rip you off with nonsense.I've had a issue with a cracked rotor, the sounds after made me think I needed rotors and brakes replaced for sure. They didn't try to upsell me. They replaced the rotors and checked the brakes but they were in good condition and with plenty of life left. That kind of thing is just one example of how trustworthy they are.Recently my girlfriend had to take her car in for a weird issue and it was almost a year to the date from when that issue happened last time. Turns out they had a faulty part that failed early and they replaced it under warranty. No charge on both parts or labor and they had it fixed in two days. No arguing about warranties or anything... These folks stand by what they do even when it wasn't bad service but just a faulty part (not really thier fault)

After calling around and reading reviews, I chose Ryan's, and I'm glad I did for several reasons:--The customer service here is great. I felt comfortable asking any questions I had and never felt like I was being taken advantage of for being a young woman with limited experience in the car repair arena. (That wasn't always my experience elsewhere.)--The estimate I got at Ryan's was lower than every other estimate I got--over $350 less than the highest quote from a competitor!--I was told it would probably be Wednesday or Thursday before they got to my car, but I actually got to drive it home earlier than expected on Tuesday evening.--The diagnostics here are more reliable than the first shop I went to. It turns out I just needed a new battery. They were honest about it and didn't do unnecessary work, and I saved hundreds more than I expected to.My car runs beautifully again (as much as a 22-year-old car that's been through the abuse of Michigan roads and weather can). At the top of that Bill is a very pleasant person to work with, so even more kudos too them.Now it's my go to place.

I love how they send photos and videos of what's wrong so I can see for myself. Bill tells me what is important to fix right away and what I am able to hold off on. Recently Bill strongly suggested that I sell my vehicle and buy another car. He didn't want me to pour a bunch more money into the Subaru that I wouldn't get back when selling it. Rinda Wahmhoff: My son goes to MSU, and I live on the other side of the state, so when his transmission started acting up on a Friday afternoon, I had him limp to the nearest business and park it. I Googled highly rated mechanics nearby, and Randall topped the list, so I drove to Lansing on Saturday and helped him limp his car to Randall. When I called them Monday morning, their staff was super friendly as they explained that they don't do transmissions, but recommended a great place nearby, Transmission Technology. Randall Auto assisted with getting the keys to the tow driver without any complaints, and even let me know when the car had been picked up. I give Randall Auto 5-stars just for being friendly and helpful, and for recommending an awesome transmission shop nearby. Both Randall Auto and Transmission Technology get 5-stars, and both are now in my contacts list, it's really nice to have businesses you can trust from out of town!Service:Auto maintenance

To me, who is clueless it was very helpful. He also texted me all the info on my car, which I was able to forward to my son who does understand cars. Was honest with me about another repair that would cost less if I took my car to someone who had done this exact repair before. Very happy w the service I received.

Our son hit a curb and snow bank 2 years ago. His whole front end in the drivetrain was messed up. We took his vehicle there and they were up front with us that the repair would be more than the vehicle was worth. And they were also unsure that the vehicle would drive right. We have also taken my in laws car there and they fixed the issue for a good price. Great service with honesty and that's important.
