However, I had help from Anna:) She reassured me that I would have plenty of options to pick from that fit within the realm of my budget. I went a little over but I’m not upset about it at all! I found a vail that was almost identical to my dress. I would say I found my dress within an hour. I recommend stopping in earlier than your appointment time because you may be able to get in early! I showed Anna my kind of style (off-white, lace because I have a more fair skin tone) and she was on it! She didn’t pressure me or make me question a thing3

The employees were extremely attentive and were always ready and willing to assist with anything we needed. They had a surprisingly wonderful selection of dresses in a large variety of sizes. My sales associate (I didn't catch their name but they had short hair, glasses, and a forearm tattoo) even helped me find a wonderful tailor in the Lansing area. Also, as I walked through the store I could see that they carried everything from suit jackets, to mother of the bride dresses. I went into my appointment having no idea what style I wanted or knowing what would look good on me. Amie Barker: I had an appointment to try on bridal gowns for my 2024 wedding. The front desk staff was stuffy and rude. They stood at the front desk staring at us in the waiting room, and talking back and forth quietly with eachother, while we waited for our consultant. I almost walked out at that point and went to a different shop, but I’m glad I didn’t. Our stylist Donna was AMAZING. She made the experience magical and stayed within our budget. The dress was the second one I tried on. I took it off and tried on a few more. While I was changing into the next, she discreetly went and got some lace straps and tucked them into the one I ultimately chose because she knew I would want to see it again, and I wanted straps. When I asked to put that one back on, she lit up. She knew even before my sister & I did that that was THE ONE. She held her opinions until after we had made a decision about the dress, took my wedding theme into account, and was genuinely happy to see me find the one. We were raving about her for hours after we left. We loved Donna. Picture featuring her being almost as happy as me when I finally put the one back on! Whatever Donna gets paid, she needs a raise!My sister will be getting married in the next couple of years and we will be coming back to Fantastic Finds, but only if Donna is still there.

S S: Didn't like walking up to the door, it was locked, with people walking be looking at you but ignoring you. It says walk in for prom dresses but that's not quite true. So it also says call for an appt, so there is no browsing in that store, it's run like an assembly line. We declined the appt time, because the walk in doesn't exist. We just wanted to browse, not get fitted that day not knowing what they offered, and being ignored at the door was off-putting.

grace featherly: this experience for me and my friend was genuinely awful. We called ahead to make sure walk-ins were ok, and they said yes so we came in not even 10 minutes later. The sales associates were rude, unwilling to help us, and rushed us to the point that we just wanted to leave. The dresses were all outdated and tacky, you couldn’t take pictures of any dresses, some dresses had stains and tears, and if you came without a parent (even if you’re 18 which is an adult) you were only allowed to try on a max of three dresses, and weren’t allowed to purchase a dress without your parent present and you can’t put the dresses on hold either so there’s no guarantee the dresses would even be there when you came back. Awful experience, will not be back.

Jennifer Vannest: Sara was our dress specialist. She made my Bridesmaids and I feel extremely welcome almost like we were old friends. They had a great selection of dresses and in all sizes. Their prices are some of the best we seen and the shop is extremely clean. We will be going back for the men’s tuxes. You can beat their styles and prices.

Katie Russell: This is a mixed review. The staff there were FANTASTIC! They made a dress recommendation that I purchased and would not have otherwise looked at. But they didn't ask me to take a 'I found the dress' picture which isn't a huge deal but you get that opportunity once. I DO NOT recommend using the inhouse seamstress without an interpreter present, staff tried to reassure me she would do what I requested but that didn't happen.She did not listen to what I wanted and my sleeves that were supposed to be a little longer than 3/4 ended up about tshirt length.

KaTie Rellinger: As soon as I arrived, Sarah was there to greet me with an enthusiastic, bright, beaming personality, truly aimed to be my hype girl for the day! I honestly was not expecting this appointment to go well do to a plethora of reviews being grumpy about having to take off your shoes and then on their website stating no pictures allowed. I was fully expecting the employees to be snotty and very harsh on all the rules making the experience a debbie-downer kind of day. But that is the OPPOSITE of what I experienced. Yes, you have to take off your shoes, and yes, no pictures are allowed (until you say yes to the dress) however, the entire staff was friendly and really helpful and strived to help me find my dress! No one was pushy and no one tried to force me to buy anything. It was purely up to me and my choice and I love that! My mom is also handicapped and in a wheel chair and they strived to make her feel welcome and comfortable as well, which is HUGE! (No she didn't have to take off her wheels, but they wiped them down for her before she could get far into the store). I did end up finding my dream dress here and I am so happy I said yes to the dress! You get a goody bag and a discount if you choose your dress upon your first appointment. The 4 stars is only because the space is small and there wasn't a lot of room to see the dress or walk around in it. I also was not a fan of paying to have an appointment.

Sara Calkins: I had an excellent experience with Pierre’s, especially with my stylist Sarah. I booked an appointment for a larger group (I had 5 bridesmaids and my mom with me) and they accommodated us all very well. It was our last stop of the day and at that point we were not sure I would decide on a dress that day, but after being able to pick out so many different styles from their stock to try on, I ended up finding the perfect dress for me! Sarah was so helpful and friendly. She made sure to keep my budget in mind and warned me if we had selected any options beyond my price range, which I really appreciated. She also went out of her way to demonstrate changes I could make to any details of the dresses that I didn’t like as much. I would highly recommend this shop.

Addison Heinz: I would not recommend that anyone purchase from Grace’s without knowing their return policy. My first visit last week went well. I was looking for a graduation dress and I was speaking with the worker there about how unsure I was that the dress would match my red graduation gown. I ended up purchasing it with the intention to return it if I found a dress somewhere else. Upon check out I noticed a small sign about returns (that I guess I misinterpreted). I thought I had 7 days to return the dress or I could only get store credit. Actually, everything is pretty much FINAL SALE because any return will only be given store credit. I found this out when I visited the store today trying to return my dress. The owner very rudely told me I could only return it for store credit. I told her that I was not aware of that. She said rudely, “we have a sign”. I don’t think any of this is fair to the customer. The return policy sign should be larger and not stuffed between a bunch of smaller items like jewelry and hand lotion. When the customer is being checked out, the worker should give a verbal statement about the return policy ESPECIALLY when they know the customer isn’t certain they like the dress. My biggest issue with this situation is that the owner failed to sympathize with the customer. There was no apology and she had no interest in helping me. I was very upset leaving the store and the reason I kept the dress was because I never want to step foot in this boutique again. The owner made the environment very unwelcoming.

Kelly Rogers: This is the best boutique ever. It is such a treasure to have in Lansing. I have traveled and visited boutiques across the country and world, and this is by far my favorite. Jessica Bobb: The two times I went in for alterations I was not happy with the customer service. Every one was very snobby. When I went to pick my bridesmaid dress up I noticed the hem on the first layer was shorter than the hem on the bottom layer. I was told “it’s the way it’s laying” and I don’t have time for it be fixed as the wedding is in 7 days. I’m not very happy.

Taylor Rae Cichocki: I’ve gotten alteration work done here in September 2022, and she did such a great job I wanted to come back. I brought my bridesmaid dress, three weeks after I made an appointment and was informed by alterations they’re currently not allowed to take custom work.Vaughn is was fantastic, informative and super apologetic, so no disappointment at all in her or her capabilities.But, this is the second time this location failed to notify me of any major developments or changes. The first time, my appointment was made the day after a rush fee charge would apply, even though I informed her on the phone when the wedding was and asked how soon I could get in. Although there were sooner appointments available, I was told it would be fine, and due to my work schedule, I believed her. I had to pay a $25 fee. Fortunately, the tailor was great to work with and I got my dress on time.This time, however, I’m informed three weeks after making my appointment that they can only do very quick, specific jobs. I understand that, but I was once again not informed of this. I drove 40 minutes to be here to be turned back in less than 5. If I was just informed via phone or email that they couldn’t do certain types of work, I would have scheduled somewhere else, or even another David’s Bridal.

MDC: Came here today to dress shop for mother of the bride. The stylist (I’m going to guess she’s Indian) she was super sweet and so helpful. The woman that we spoke to regarding alteration (yellow boy short hair cut with freckles) she was very rude and looked like she did not want to help us. She was sighing like we were bothering her just because we want to know more about their alteration price. We did not like how she was treating us as customers. We ended up not getting the dress just because of her attitude. No wonder David bridal shops are going down hill because of workers like her. I’m glad I did not get my wedding dress here. It was truly disappointing experience. She needs to find a diff job.

So with that said of course it was way off when we went to pick it up, ended up getting $119.00 dollars more with them.Beautiful place not sure what to say about the ladies working there.Only helpful one was the lady with little tattoos on her face!
