The Lansing airport is here for you.The DCA - LAN flight is a lifesaver and the prices are reasonable compared to DTW.Security takes 90 seconds or less here (especially if you have TSA pre check).Shout out to to the 2-4 employees that run the show for the whole airport. I swear it’s the same person that checks in your bag, checks you onto the plane, loads your bags and flies the plane (kidding… at least on my last point there).Keep flying Lansing ✈️

erin rempher: Firs Avelo flight LAN to MCO (Orlando). Bag check was easy and staff was friendly. Clean, updated, and spacious airport that was easy to get around. BIG Breakfast Burrito at Capital Brewport was delicious!

Brenda Clark: It would’ve been nice to know that no one gets to the American Airlines counter until 5am. We got here early so we could get the baggage checked get through TSA and get a cup of coffee before our flight. But NO we’re sorting here waiting for them to show up. Delta on the other hand is already checking baggage.

Jill Lubbers: Self serve market had no food options. Restaurant was out of food at 1:30 pm on a busy travel day. No options to purchase Dramamine anywhere in the airport. Will avoid this airport if possible in the future. Simply Ridiculous.

Scott Thielbar: Zero stars if I could. Totally unprepared for international flight. Made us sit on plane for nearly half hour while we waited for them to staff customs. Computer problems. Ridiculous after long fight.

Abigail Sweeney: This is small, neat, and tidy airport with typically wait times which one would expect to signify to a friendly, relaxed, and helpful atmosphere. Unfortunately not. The customs officer stood up in his booth and yelled at my 6 year old child who had been traveling all day to get home and didn’t want to have his picture taken at passport control. Fortunately his supervisor intervened to let us move on, but not before the situation escalated. I look forward to future officers letting us parent our children and concerning themselves with national security, which I’m quite sure is not at any statistical risks from tired 6 year olds.

X. RAO: Quick in and out. Parking is close, with 1st 15 minutes free. TSA is not quite busy. Check in line is relatively short. Roadwork in 2021 was finally finished. I always choose LAN instead of DTW whenever possible with reasonable cost. Rental car is also on site, which is a great plus. When flying from LAN to DTW, it is also fun to identify from sky of structures on the ground as the plane is not very high.Updates in 2023: it is great news that Avelo started Lansing to Orlando non-stop flights, twice every week. Very nice to have additional service at Capital Region International Airport.Parking is quite reasonable. Long term parking is 10$ a day. Parking lot is right in front of the terminal.
