Rachel Beyer: We brought my vehicle in for a full detail. While the turnaround was great, the final result was less than satisfactory. Some areas are dirtier than when it was delivered to them. The inside of the windshield is streaky and they didn't clean off sticker residue, the rear gate frame wasn't touched, the wheels look no cleaner than at drop off, and there's a bunch of speckled stuff splashed all over the head liner. Kneeling on the still-damp carpet showed that the floors are still somewhat dirty. I feel like we paid for a rudimentary clean and they they liberally sprayed a shiny, greasy protective spray on every surface. Now that I am back after over 6 years this is the only place I come to get a quick and quality interior a exterior clean. They have been consistent and do a good job quickly. The guys and gals handling the cleaning and detailing are always nice and professional. This will always be my go to as long as I'm in the Lansing area. Best times are early morning or evening. Their long lines are proof their work is quality.

Kristina Siettas: I wasn't overly impressed with the service I received here. I paid a lot of money to have my SUV thoroughly detailed, and they missed a lot of spots. They also rolled up my weather tech mats and shoved them in my trunk without washing them. They also ripped up one of the plastic pieces that held my weather tech mats off my floor. They did replace the floor piece and ended up cleaning my weather tech mat and revacuuming my car, but I had to go back again. For the price I paid for the detailing, I was really expecting perfection. I won't be taking my car there again.

D S: Tommy's is a very nice car wash. The process for having a subscription is simple, just drive up to the gate, they enter your license plate, and you're in.The car wash itself seems gentle enough on vehicles. What I've learned from going to many car washes over the years is that, your car will not be 100% spotless from an automatic wash. The best way to limit dried water spots that drip from mirrors and doors, or any other crevices, is to get out of your vehicle and use a microfiber towel and hand dry those spots. Also, depending on the design of your car, some spots unfortunately won't drain water at all and that cause the dirty water to just settle there. Also, bugs, those take elbow grease to remove, an automatic car wash cannot do that. YOU CAN ALWAYS JUST GO THROUGH THE WASH AGAIN IF YOU LET THEM KNOW YOUR VEHICLE IS STILL DIRTY, they have no problem sending you through a second time, especially if you pay for individual washes. If you have a subscription you can go through as many times as needed.Even though there's usually not an attendant to load you in, it's still simple enough to enter because of how their tracks are designed. They are flat, so no grinding your rim against metal. Also a bonus for their wash spraying your car before entering.Their free vacuums are excellent. The area is always so clean, and all the stations are working. They have extra wide spots so you can have your doors open. There's music in the background to make for a really great experience.

The vacuums work great and the mat washer is worth it's weight in gold!There are almost always attendants out in the vacuum area to answer any questions.The hours are excellent and I've been there right at 7am as well as right before closing at 9.Membership works at all Tommy's so when I go to GR, I have (4) to choose from.They know what they're doing and they do it magnificently!

Tinh Man: Just took my car there a few minutes ago, paid for the executive package, thought it was gonna be thorough cause I was kinda of skeptical how fast they did it, not thorough at all! My trunk is still as dirty as it was before it went in, bugs still on my bumper, if i knew what a less than mediocre job they would do I would have Rather spend my money somewhere else that will do the job right. If you want a quick LAZY clean go here. If you want it thorough detailed for what I paid for go else where! This place is a rip off!
Verne Mickel: My husband recommended this place for me to get my car washed and cleaned inside and out. It was the worst service ever. So many details were left undone and unattended to. When we lifted up the first floor mat, the second mat that was under the first mat still had dirt and footprints on it. Then while lifting the second mat there was dirt and trash where the seat and floor meet. There was popcorn under the drivers side seat, there was paper under the passenger side seat. The door jams were not wiped down they were still dirty, the dashboard was still dirty. We had to wipe down all the doors and console area. It was just a poor poor job. There was no quality of work taken into consideration, just an attitude of lets hurry up and get this car done.. I am very disappointed and have had my first and last car wash service at this location.SincerelyVery disappointed Vehicle Owner!!!

The service has dropped. My pilers weren't wiped down, the rubber from the cup holders wasn't removed and wiped down. The gear shifter was only half wiped down. It's unfortunate.

L: Just picked my car up after paying $150 for them to detail my car. They did vacuum at the very least, and I can tell they wiped my center display. However, the quality of the service is disappointing for having spent that much. I had it detailed since the previous owner let a smell accumulate in the car- I was hoping a good shampooing would take care if that. They sprayed something on my dash, but since they didn’t wipe it properly, my appliances look greasy and patchy. They ran my car through the wash but didn’t wipe the windows so there’s soap stains on 3 windows. I got a scent thing to hang in my car since the smell was still lingering. Coulda saved myself 145 bucks at least doing the rest of it myself smh. Don’t go here for detailing unless you have nonexistent standards or enjoy wasting your money.Service:Auto detailing

David Mills: I've gone here for the last 2 years to get just a quick wash and interior wipe. Prices are good and the work they do is good too. However I wanted to my car detailed and it was by far the best detailing I've ever received. I have a large white dog and there was dog hair in every piece of trim and other areas you wouldn't expect. They cleaned and vacuumed and looks like a brand new car again. I highly recommend taking your car here.

Twebba Huff: The monthly membership is worth every penny if used often, car washes are not something you do one time per year, of course a single wash will not remove every little dirty spot that has built up over time. With a membership you can roll through with ease as many times as you want in a single day, if you can come here at least once per week it will keep your car looking great and clean all around. Being in Michigan with our salty roads, the under Carriage wash is genius

Steven Sparks: Lately the service seems to be going backwards. I can't express enough how friendly most of the staff are however. Regardless, I continuously watch a more expensive or newer vehicle are gone around with the spray gun to get heavy deposits removed, while I get a spray across the windshield. I do pay the monthly fee and go there because it's needing it. The bottom of my vehicles have looked horrible lately unless I personally have sprayed things off. I realize they have to keep things moving, however it can and needs to be better.

TwoPeasInAPod PetCare: I have been using this car wash since it opened, and the inconsistency of the employees drives me up the wall, if there’s an inch of snow on the ground, they will close for the day. At least 20 to 25 days out of the year they are closed and unavailable while all of the surrounding carwashes are open and available to the public so I am going to cancel my subscription with them, as well as my mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandmother, father, and wife, and take my business to a Company Who values the customer and actually showing up for work . I’ve also had my vehicle dented pretty heavily from their car wash.
Steven Johnson: The 28th st car wash eliminated the two employees at the very end of the car wash during covid and never brought them back. There is only one person at the entrance with the power washer just spraying the drivers side.My rims never get clean. The brushes never get My tailgate clean.

I asked one of the 2 men to please dry my car off as I could have used the do it yourself bay to get that kinda wash. He came back out with 3, 3! Napkins! and proceeded to try to dry my windshield. I wish I had video'd this whole experience for jokes. Then he's looking at me with the eyeroll, says what did I expect from a cold wash, like I expected too much from him. And why in this weather would they do cold wash like the outdoor bays? He went on to tell me they just spent $15,000 to fix the wash cuz it was damaging peoples vehicles, as I then pointed to my mirror bent back. He says so what you want your money back? I said yes if you can't dry my vehicle I just paid for, yes. He returned with my $12.00 all disgusted.I'm sure I've helped pay for that new equiptment that's still not adjusted correctly over the years as I have been going to this car wash off and on since the late '90s. I just wanted a clean, dry car, not go through all this drama. These rude new people and shoddy equiptment over the last 2 years have run this place to the ground in my opinion. I earned a free car wash with this on the punch card. Not worth all that drama and rudeness.

Ben Manns: Not a bad car wash to come too. The automatic wash is a little bit run down/dirty and question whether or not the brushes scratch your paint, but I can't confirm that either.

The nozzles falling off the vaccuum , low suction , the vacuum time is very short for $1 vs other places, and some nozzles are glued or stuck so they do not move making it painful to use. I hope they consider investing in new equipment because it's great having a car wash in this area!

Aleksander H: It’s a cheap car wash I use frequently. Its very run down. It does the job for me because it sprays soap and sprays water. I used their automated car wash at each price point. Just skip it - it’s useless. Come here for the self service if you personally wanna wash your car well. Bring your own towels & wax. NEVER use the foam brush - it will scratch your paint as it has gunk from previous cars. This place needs a renovation. But few things would greatly improve the experience like a timer for self service as well as a self service blow dryer with a rubber tip so that I can dry my car fast. They could have a separate station for that and everyone would happily pay for it. The self service offers a few different options but they never seam to work. Also switching between options takes forever. It’s fun for me to wash my car and this is the most convenient place for me to go. I wish this place was better and with a few improvements it could be a really good car wash.

Breezy Michigan: Update 2/19/22:I went through the car wash today. Paid for the gold with highest service. At the end I see ice hanging from wheel wells still. I'm talking mountains still hanging from the wheel wells and little peaks along the underside edge of my car. No problem. I swing back around and asked to be sent through again. The guy sighs and says it won't do any good because the ice is hard. I don't get sent through again because apparently, that is asking too much to get ice off my car when previous times have been able to do so and get the ice off. Might as well save your money and use the self wash bays to clean your car off or go somewhere else that can get ice off cars in winter.Previous review:I typically go through the car wash rather than doing it by hand in the bays. The staff are great! Sometimes in winter they don't get everything (ex. Ice) off the car, but they just send me through again. I think they could be a little overpriced, but not enough to prevent me from going. I'm happy with this place.
