My basement carpet was drippy wet along with the padding underneath. First time in the 61 years I have lived in the house which we built in 1960.After walking into Maloney's Carpet One store without making an appointment I met Mary K who helped me find many possibilities that would work with the arm cover fabric samples I brought in. I left the store with samples. Mary K even came out to my messy basement on her lunch hour to give me advise as to what looked best in the daylight coming in from the egress windows. When it came time to lay the carpet, Covid played a role and I met Jeff Maloney at my front door to help work out problems. He always kept me informed of our new schedule as we continued to deal with Covid. Steve and his carpet laying crew were efficient, considerate, knew just how to proceed and did a great job. Then Tom came at the end to solve a little concern of mine. And Nena was on top of everything when I telephoned the store. I would highly recommend that you consider MALONEY'S CARPET ONE

Paul Burry: I can flatly say Rycus is much better than any big box store. We did a backsplash for our kitchen and they had a better selection to choose from. Mekisha helped guide us and narrow down in the showroom. Once we selected, they quickly set up an install date and got materials. Mike on install was fantastic! Want to note that Rycus uses their own installers, don't contract it out, and stand behind the work. On time, respectful inside, cleaned up too! I'm a pretty good DIY'er and saw they really knew all the tricks, did it much better and quicker than I could have. It looks great! I'd use them again in a heartbeat for any tile job and for flooring in the future.

Laura Wood: Not a good experience this time around. I'll let the photos speak for themselves. I had asked the salesperson to share photos of this vanity (that I supplied before the work was done) to the installer before the job, as we had the opportunity to lay the flooring before the vanity. We were told, by the salesperson, to install the vanity first and they would cut around it. Really wish there was actual communication between the salespeople and installers here, because this issue was 100% preventable. I had brought this up after the job was done and no actual solution was given to us, as well as no follow up. Proceed with caution if. you're using this company.

Jack Keys: Monday April 4th, we had our new carpet installed in our livingroom and stairway going upstairs. The Johnson Brothers (contracted installers) came in and ripped out the old carpet first in preparation for the new. They did a great job of the cleanup and prep. Then they installed the new Berber carpet which we are greatly pleased with the looks and feel. I highly recommend. I've included some before, in between, and final installation pictures.

They were outstanding at communicated throughout the install resulting in an outstanding final product. No BS. Nothing unexpected. Just a friendly group of professionals anyone could enjoy small talk with. A+

Marie Spike: My ex-contractor, Bob, showed up at my door recently with a late payment for the money he owes me in a judgment I won against him in court for abandoning my renovation after he gutted my house. He told me that Matt, the manager/owner of American Flooring took the money for my tile order out of his paycheck and that I could finally pick it up. I was shocked to learn that he was working for American Tile (even though they had originally recommended him) and that they had taken the money for my tile out of his paycheck because I had paid for the tile in full last October after that same contractor abandoned my renovation and was in and out of jail and rehab for crack cocaine. When the ex-contractor told Matt that he knew I'd paid, Matt refunded the money to Bob and didn't even bother to call me. Feel like I've been run over twice!

Courtney Deschepper: My husband and I worked for American flooring for 5 hard years.. The owner Matt stole money from us not to mention keeping our last check two days before Christmas. He likes to play childish games. They're over priced and I hope karma bites him in the butt! I would never recommend them.. If you do use American flooring go to the Okemos store.

Rebecca Love: I purchased a box of tiles from this location a few weeks ago. My sales rep was Tony, and he informed me that paying for the shipping world more than double my order cost. He advised that if I could wait a little while, I could get my tiles shipped with their next order for no extra charge. I paid for the tiles that day, with the assurance that they would call me when the order arrived.To be fair, I should've asked for a time estimate, but I assumed that their orders were at relatively regular intervals. So after two weeks with no word, I called to check on things. The sales rep that I spoke with said that there was no order due yet, but that he would call me that Friday. I received no call, so I waited a few more days... Nothing. At the end of the third week, I called for a status, and was told that they were not yet in. When I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication, the sales rep said in an exasperated tone "well, you could always pay the $58 to have it shipped immediately". I was then told it should be there the next Friday (yesterday). It has been a month since I ordered the tiles, and (until today) I have been meet with nothing vague assurances and hostility. When I called today, I spoke with Jeff (who seemed very nice, and apologized for the lack of communication on their end). Jeff is the reason that I'm giving this place a second star, because he acted as though he actually cared about my experience, and seemed genuinely interested in finding out when I might receive my tiles. At this time, I am unsure if I want to do business with this company again. If I do decide to continue using them for my tiles, I will only be working with Jeff.
