Xavier McDaniel: I Live There, Its Good There! I Spent My Whole Life Over There.
Helen Taylor: Ok so you claim that your section 8 but you don't take the section 8 voucher which makes no sense then you tell you don't work in the office so why are you answering the phone you don't know what your talking about.
Samantha Hanson: it's really nice and quiet!! Great management and the place is clean!
Kenneth Berry: Nice place to live.

The Quarters at East Lansing - Cottages: what do users think?
Elizabeth oneil: AMAZING PLACE TO LIVE!! I enjoyed living here for a while!! best apartment place.
Oscar Quiroz: A wonderful space to live with lots of amenities and a really, really friendly staff!
Alexis Wheeler: I have loved living here! They take great care of their tenants!
Shayla Anderson: Living here at the cottages isn’t that bad, my only problems are the ventilation throughout the house, downstairs would be very cold while upstairs in the rooms aren’t getting anything. the maintence request might aswell be jokes before my former roommate left she put in a maintence request july 15 for the wash and dryer move out, that was july 16 they still haven’t came to fix it so i made another one myself and still july 18 and now it’s july 19 and still can’t use my washer and dryer. on top of not have a clubhouse………. or if you would even call it a clubhouse.
Abbey Ledford: Love the cottages, such a great place to live!!
chloe s: love the cottages theres so much space for the price ! epic place to live ! staff is very helpful and welcoming.
Josh Horodeczny: Great place to live!
Dillon Kelly: Renewing for my third year here. Private, spacious, and luxurious. Great neighbors as the higher rent stops just anyone from living here.
Jacob Shew: I moved in this past August, we love living here because it is like we are living in our own house. It's very reasonable in price for all that is included and having access to the 24 hour fitness center is nice
jordyn marshall: Absolutely dreadful management. The first few weeks, they came in unannounced without masks. They made false claims about my roommate leaving things on our patio that weren’t allowed. They fail to update tenants in a timely manner about changes they’d be making to the website and method of paying. If we’re paying them, they should be able to answer ALL the questions having to do with rent. I shouldn’t have to go through a third party website to get my questions answered. The townhouses are nice, but the management is terrible and I wouldn’t recommend anyone living here.
Sean Adams: Terrible management! Way to strict! If I want to put my Jason Derulo on volume 70, I should be able to do so without a “noise complaint.” PSH smh 0/10 recommend.
Justin: Management says they take the first 2 weeks to clean apartments in August, but they don't clean anything, leaving you with a mess to clean upon entry. If you have a pet, don't bother living here. They don't know how to take care of the grass. There is no waste disposal so smells can be a problem.Ventilation is poorly circulated and not contained in the upstairs rooms. It's either too hot or too cold.Guest parking is a pain, and they are quite strict. They give temporary solutions to big problems (example: the entrance to the front of the Quarters Apartments always floods). The cottages clubhouse is barely a clubhouse. They charged me after moving out, but they never clarified the issue when I reached out to them via email.
Hilam Mandwee: Terrible management. They retaliated against my girlfriend for calling out maintenance entering unannounced without a mask. They made False claims about the charcoal grill stored outside on our concrete patio. With that being said the town houses are beautiful but they have terrible guest policies.
Katlyn Day: The management here is horrible and poorly organized. I would never recommend this place to anyone. When I first moved in my door was broke and did they not notify me. Also, it took over a month for the door to get fix! I will never stay here again , they are rude and poorly managed!
Christ Xiong: Nobody is answering my calls or emails. I tried to go to the leasing office DURING their hours and no one was there. Horrible management, dont rent here!
steen grundahl: hands down the nicest student apartments I have seen in East Lansing

Edgewood Villas Apartments: what do users think?
Shacara Wright: I had the worst experience. These people took my application fee, kept asking for the same paperwork and strung me along for almost 3 months to never even let me move in. They waited until the 90th day to say they never received any of my paperwork, told me i had no proof that i paid them and tried to act stupid like they never told me i could move in. I would never recommend such a ghetto place. Natasha, the barefoot bandit does the dirty work for the big bad wolf Martha Stewart. Do not move here! I’m telling you, you will regret it.
Shavontae Shakur: Can't keep steady management, unorganized, had problems with bugs since I moved out here it's just not a place I would recommend. Old management never said anything about paying water when I first moved here now I have a 1800 water bill 1 1/2 later smh.
M. Halse: Thanks for feeding my pet while I was away!
Dale Shattuck: Trying to renew your lease is a nightmare. We've submitted all our paperwork repeatedly and yet still got a notice of lease termination based on non-receipt of renewal paperwork. The notice came on a Saturday and gives 24 hours to respond. The office isn't even open Saturday or Sunday, and the hours are kept so short on weekdays that it is almost impossible to get in to see the office personnel.Updating this review almost a year later. Do NOT make this place your home. The parking lot is full of deep pot holes while inattentive parents allow their children free reign to dig up the crumbling concrete and throw it around like toys. The smell of pot is a constant annoyance along with loud neighbors blaring their noise at all hours of the night. Trash is strewn everywhere and the staff seemingly do nothing about it. Weeds are allowed to grow and little attention is paid to the lawns. Oh yes ans maintenance is still not taken care of on a regular basis despite 2 different management changeover since I originally wrote this review. Rent for a 2 bedroom recently spiked to 900$, but there are no utilities covered of any kind.Basically, this place has only gotten worse over the last year. Find something better.
Troy Mcmickens: Haven't had nobody come fix my apartment at all
STARRCHILD 523: If you want to meet a couple of amazing young ladies, come on in to Edgewood Villa's Penny and Cat are awesome, very down to earth and professional, these ladies really know their business, friendly and curtious, their like extended family, and they show they really care about the residents here at Edgewood Villa's. Thanks Ladies.
Monique Aikens: Get big shout out to Miss Kathleen great job Assistant Manager you did yo thing Miss lady thank you major upgrades on the appliances A 1 qialty on new and improve services and appliances....new management is showing up and out.. Friendly Staff great experience I have had.. Good Job keep up thr good work.
Linda Roose: I have applied for a apartment and the office is working it for me 😉 I have found they are very respectful. They are under new management and need a break on getting things straightened out.
Brooke Cornwell: Poor customer service, unorganized. Save yourself the time and go to the next one.
Ryan Keyes: Big selection and clean. Plenty of parking.
Tatiana Talberg: Live here if you want an infestation of mice and you want the lazy manteniance people to do nothing about. Also live here if you want obnoxious neighbors messing with your stuff and the leasing office not doing anything about it. I’ll be happy when I move.
Jenn Oliver: My husband and I are future residents at Edgwood Villas. We have been treated with 100% amazing service. Crystal in the office has been great with us. Yes! there is a process getting moved in and being approved. However, that is what it takes now a days to get good reliable tenants. It makes me feel safe that the company does this process it only protects everyone in the end! We absolutely love this location and everything about the complex. We have taken rides in the evenings and have not seen anything that makes us uncomfortable. I can't wait for our move in day. We can't wait to call Edgewood Villas home.
Lauren: HORRIBLE SCAM! Trash is everywhere, if you need something fixed good luck, it took me three months to get my refrigerator fixed, during that time they came and "fixed" the problem but really didn't do anything. They "fixed" my stairway railings several times.. They fell apart within a week every time. Half the time I lived there my draines and garbage disposal were clogged and made the entire kitchen smell horribly and they never fixed it even after multiple complaints. I could go on and on. When I first moved in it was by far the DIRTIEST place I'd ever moved into! It took me over $60 of my own money for cleaning supplies, and three weeks of cleaning to get the place liveable and safe for my children. During my stay I caught 9 mice. There are children ages 2-12 that run around every day here without ANY parent supervision of any kind. I couldn't leave any of my kids toys outside or they would be gone. I couldn't leave a small pool in my backyard because little 3 yr olds would come along take off all their cloths and jump right in with no adults watching them. The adults are horrible here. There are constantly couples feuding loudly throughout the complex. The week before I finally left there was about 20 people outside our townhouse all drunk and fighting each other and raceing cars throughout the complex. The cops came several times within the last week I was there. The management is horrible. When I did my walk through the manager at the time Mike walked through with me and marked some stuff down and rushed me through the house. After living there and cleaning for several days I noticed 10 plus more issues that were already there prior that I had to later report to them so I would not be held responsible. Even after I moved out, I got a bill for hundreds of $$ worth of damage, half of the damage stated on the paperwork was prior damage that was there when I had moved in! They charged me $300 for WALL STICKERS.. Which are specifically made for walls because they easily come off without creating any damage to paint or walls.. They charged me for water damage that had already been there prior to my move in, which I had complained about several times. I was told it was old water damage that had already been repaired, and that everything was fine. Because it was NOT fixed like they told me it was, water dripped from the upstairs bathroom through the rotted ceiling and into my 32" flat screen which had to be thrown in the trash. Edgewood villas gives u a 7 day notice of eviction on the 3rd of the month if you haven't paid rent, then charges $75 for a late fee if u don't pay by the 5th, then by the 11th of the month they have already signed paperwork for an eviction and court proceedings, which adds another $180 in court fees. So if you've read all the bad reviews, and still want to try living here, you better be sure u can pay on time every month or you will be paying over $1000/month not including the high utility costs for these townhomes. I am not saying this stuff because I have a personal vandetta against this place, I actually tried very hard to enjoy my stay here because for the cost (as long as u pay on time) it was a good deal for a 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath. But in the end there were waaay too many cons then pros:(Sorry about the unfortunate news for anyone interested in these townhomes.)
Cynthia Palace: I enjoy living here. I have a handicap accessible apartment. With a ramp down the side of my apartment. I havent had any problems with any of my neighbors. Real nice conmunity.
Tanya Williams: I’m disabled and only income is SSI. 9 months ago, have filled out an application for a 1 bedroom and given it to them. Damn near a year later, no nformation nor reply, at all. I called to see where I were on the waiting list, and all of a sudden they can’t find my application! 😡 Yet, I’m still homeless and have to redo another application!
Mr D: BEWARE. This is extremely low income housing, yet they charge 725 a month for a 2 bedroom. They have an income cap and if you make more, they will deny you, which is crazy due to their rent prices. When you go in and ask if you make to much, they will say no, take your application fee, and screw around for weeks until they finally tell you that you make too much AFTER you call them. Even though you asked if you made too much, they said no, and took your money, they will not give it back. Extremly poor way of doing bussiness, its a shady scam done by a bottom of the barrel company. Also, drive through at night, after the office closes, their true colors come out. Kids everywhere, loud music, not at all peaceful or inviting. The child of a man Rance I delt with started yelling at me over the phone when I was simply acquiring about the app fee and their shady business ways. I had said nothing bad and he started on an ego trip and started yelling over the phone so I hung up on him. He then CALLED ME BACK, to yell and be extremely unprofessional some more. Bottom line is they are obviously hard up for money, and will scam you into believing you can be accepted and then tell you no so they can keep room open for their section 8 people which this place is full of, so with that comes those kinds of neighbors. They're broke, tenants are broke, and it will stay that way with their terrible way of doing business and their terrible reviews.
Freddy Ball: I do not
Kobewrld999 Forever: A couple days ago the one that got busted out the office window is the hood here
paul lafay: The neighbors are alright some are very disrespectful and others are very nice. Lots of kids if you want kids for your kids to play with you must be with your children in this neighborhood lots of trash everywhere on the complex. The playgrounds swing set sat for almost three weeks broke and dangerous before they finally took it down. The kids in the neighbor Hood are hoodlems and disrespectful none of there parents are anywhere to be found. When my kids mom moved in her fridge leaked all over the kitchen for three months the manager kept sending maintenance to stand in the house and tell us there's no way to fix it but they don't wanna buy a new one. The apartment was completely filthy took 50 dollars of my money to clean and make it livable and there excuse was that they had no cleaning crew when she moved in. Then why did you lease it! Good luck getting maintenance to do anything ounce we called all week and never got an answer and the manager Mike is hardly ever to be found. They are heartless they don't have no compassion at all that life happens and sometimes you nay not get rent in on time they will not ever ever wave any fees even if things are there fault. Only ones who wanna live here are people that get section 8 it's not worth the rent to live in a dirty dangerouse place.
LJs Squad: This place is horrible I hate living here it's trash everywhere the maintainence men are trash the new guys doesn't even know what their doing they're very lazy the kids are disrespectful
Andrew Brandenburger: Lived here for just under a year. The place was comfortable, spacious and affordable. Wasn't a big fan of some of my neighbors, but others were great. One in particular called the police when he saw my front door was open and no one was home. Luckily no one broke in, I just accidentally didn't close the door all the way and the wind blew it open. But it was nice to know I had a neighbor looking out for me.I never had any issues with the people running the place. They were friendly to me and when I wanted to leave early (to buy a house), they were very helpful, understanding and patient while my bank took their sweet time getting their crap together.I think my biggest complaint is the kids. But a simple pair of headphones easily fixed that problem.

University Villa Apartments: what do users think?
Kendall Robertson: i lived here last year with dtn as management and it was a nightmare, worst living experience i’ve ever had, worst management, and everyone was extremely rude. definitely would advise NOT to rent anywhere that dtn is affiliated. since the management changed here this year it’s been nothing but good change. the complex actually emails you updates about what’s going on, the parking lots plowed, and there’s good communication if you have any issues. would recommend UV now with the new management to anyone who’s looking for somewhere small, cheap, and close to campus.
Anna Zultowski: Don’t live here! The layout of the apartment is awful and the 2 windows are so small and shaded in by the building, it feels like a cave (one of mine doesn’t even open). They advertise as a two bedroom, but it’s essentially a studio separating three areas with accordion folding, vinyl panel curtains. They don’t even reach to the ground so you can hear EVERYTHING within the apartment, even if both are fully closed. They don’t have working latches either, just hooks that constantly fall out. Anyways, there’s way nicer apartments in the area for the same price that actually have real doors and walls.
Ben Bird: Extremely disappointed with the management here, I’ve been trying to receive a parking pass for months now and they have never been available. Just recently my car got towed away from MY OWN APARTMENT and got stuck with a $400 towing bill and police ticket after they CALLED THE POLICE on my parked car. I have never had such a disappointing experience anywhere else that I have rented at and would strongly recommend to anyone that they not rent here. Absolutely ridiculous.
Dru Krull: Very disappointed and won't be resigning, there is not enough parking permits so one tenant will be towed or ticketed like I have experienced. There's also rude maintenance workers here and there. and plenty of appliances getting old, according doors are paper thin. Just wish the DTN community would reach out to make things right I had higher expectations.
Wyatt Offman: DisappointingLived in an apartment in this area for 2 years at 425 a month and decided to move out to live closer to campus. All I can say is that I have experienced more problems on the first day living in this apartment than I did living at my old apartment for 2 years. We moved in to about 40 ants crawling around our kitchen floor, our lock broken, and fruit flies flying around. This was before we had any food in the apartment and we have a horde of ants coming from who knows where. This is a big no no for college students looking for an apartment. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment to anyone.
Marie Baenen: Maintenance is awesome! Great place to live!
Santa Yono: Great place to live! Maintenance guy is friendly and gets the job done! Rooms are cozy.
Mitchell Gougeon: Nice apartments and a good location. The building maintenance manager, Ron, is the man. Fixes any issues with the units quickly and properly. Only general complaint so far is that there isn't parking available for all residents, 1 pass per apartment.
Karalyn VanSlambrouck: Pretty terrible property in general. Holes in the wall, broken appliances, poorly kept.
