Emily Robertson: UPDATE: My original review for this company is below. We called back to schedule a second cleaning because we’re having issues with our fireplace smoking into the house. We scheduled the cleaning, and the next night got a call from the owner at almost 7pm saying he could no longer service our fireplace because he doesn’t like how much wood we burn in our fireplace. Incredibly unprofessional and definitely wouldn’t recommend.Phillip came out to clean our chimney today and did a great job! He was super communicative beforehand, showed up early, and did a super thorough job without making a mess. We’ll definitely be repeat customers.

Rude Jude All Out Show: I scheduled a chimney sweep with Toziers as a repeat customer months ago for October 15th 2021. I received a call from the owner today stating he has Covid & can't work til after next week. I was fine with waiting til he was back to work but he stated he can't reschedule til mid December. I asked how is he gonna reschedule my appointment after customers that scheduled after I did. He said there's nothing he can do & told me to find someone else to do the work. I told him its not fair since I scheduled months ago & customers who scheduled weeks after me will get their job done first. He told me too bad, that's how it is, find someone else, write a review & he hung up on me. I called back & he didn't answer my call. All my calls are recorded due to my cell phone being connected to my business line, I can prove how unprofessional the owner of this local company was. It's sad with everything going on that a small local guy can not care about his past, current & future customers. I'll never use his services again & I hope other people beware & find someone else like he told me to do.Service:Chimney cleaning

Chelsea Dee: I scheduled months in advance for an appointment only to have them show up and say "we won't be doing this job." Due to the fact that they didn't have a tall enough ladder and that my house was "too tall." I told them how many stories my house was when I made the appointment so I'm not sure why they made the appointment in the first place.Why would you have a chimney inspection company and not expect there to be some taller houses? Then I called later and said if "I get a ladder can you please come out and inspect" and they still said no. -_- They absolutely just don't want your business or to even find a way to help. they just say "no" and leave if your house is more than 1 story.Services:Chimney cleaning,Chimney inspections

Michelle Hale: I'd like to review higher except that we waited a very long time for them to come and when I made the appointment they asked me if it was a one or two story I told them it was a two-story house and then when they got here they said that they couldn't do it because they didn't have any way to get up there.

Chelsea Rice: I scheduled an appointment a month in advance, knowing that chimney sweeps usually schedule out far, and because we need the chimney cleaned yearly due to a wood burner being our only heat source. I informed him the house was 2 stories and the ceiling heights were 10 and 9 feet high, that it was a tall house. He said that wouldn’t be a problem. He showed up right when he was supposed to, however the first words out of his mouth was “yeah, we won’t be doing this job. This is a three story house.” I’m so frustrated that we scheduled in advance, just for him to come out and say “nope”. There are multiple places to climb up via a ladder then you’re able to maneuver to get up to the chimney. So, unless you’ve got a ranch style house this guy won’t have a ladder tall enough to help.

Zachary A. Wickard: Big shout out to Alpha and Omega. My wife and I needed our dryer moved upstairs, Will and Jackson handled everything. They installed new dryer venting through our roof and ran a gas line for our dryer. Now our dryer is in it's new spot and is drying our clothes faster than before!

Andrew Woodruff: Poor cost transparency. They did a cleaning and recommend a part to fix it. They refused to tell he how much the part cost, what the part number was, and how much labor it would take to fix it. Unfortunate they did not want to have an honest conversation about the pricing.

Kim H: A&O swept my chimney prior to a gas log conversion from wood burning. I had no issues with my fireplace at that sweep. I called this time about a cap to try to bat proof as I had a bat get in my fireplace.Also wanted to be sure no bats were nesting prior to using. When they arrived I was told it would cost an additional 100.00 for a camera sweep. I over hear the techs talking saying they forgot the camera. I assumed they meant forgot to bring it in with them but now I wonder. I was told I had cracks full of creosote which wasn't there at the last sweep prior to the gas log install. Knowing gas log doesn't produce creosote I became suspicious. I was then told I had a gas leak, my chimney deemed "unsafe", and needed several thousands of dollars worth of repairs and I should upgrade my gas log which is only 2 years old. In discussing this with my spouse, with the tech present, we mentioned selling in a few years. His said he wouldn't tell future buyers about the issues. That's when I knew I was done. I called the office to ask for the photos they took and they did say I was overcharged for the camera sweep that may or may not have happened. I got a 50.00 refund but no photos. I had another company come out to check the gas leak and they found none. I would be very wary if you are told you need improvements. Plus I never got the chimney cap I originally called about.ADDENDUM: Received a service recovery phone call from Zach. We had a very nice conversation. He was open to discussing my above situation. I feel Zach was very receptive to my concerns and addressed my issues. They refunded me the cost of having the other company that came out to check on my gas leak. I feel they are very interested in providing quality service.

Crystal LeCoy: Alpha and Omega serviced our two gas fireplaces about two weeks ago. Jeff, the technician, did a fantastic job despite having some difficulty accessing one of the gas shutoff valves (not his fault - the previous owners built a brick hearth in front of the original valve). Jeff was polite and professional and took the time to discuss our gas lines and potential solutions to an issue with a gas leak on one of the valves. Truly grateful for him, and the owner Steve, for spending the extra time, for helping us understand how the fireplaces work, and for explaining what our options are in fixing the gas leak. I'm leaving 4 stars only because they had to leave to buy an extra part to access the first shutoff valve, and then proceeded to charge me for the part once the service was complete, without first informing me that there would be an additional charge for them to complete the job. That was a small surprise. I still believe they did a wonderful job and I do plan to call on Alpha and Omega again when additional services are needed. Thank you, both!

My wife and I just purchased a new home and we are comforted that Carter and Shawn were professional, detailed, and did a great job explaining the deficiencies with pictures and walking through options for getting to a final solution. All items discussed were detailed in a report along with the pictures for keeping an accurate record.
