This place is the worst.My ticket went from $20 to $240 just because I couldn’t get hold of anyone from the court, i emailed, called, went there multiple times, I even dropped a letter at the door. 20 days After dropping the letter they called and they were like “if you want your license back, you gotta pay the $240” ignoring the fact that the court been closed for over a year now and a lot of people weren’t able to figure out how to pay their tickets.

Rook: 45 bucks for a parking ticket? For real?Jesus. Also, I’m pretty sure two of these reviews are fake. One account has one review in its lifespan and the other gives 4* reviews to random businesses across the us.

Alex perez: Emailed, called, and even went to the location in person to try and pay off a ticket. No one was able to help me, the people in the building told me to pay the ticket through online or through phone, though I already tried those options. It's been five days, and no one has still contacted me back. Terrible service.

Rose “RoseyPosie” Rose: The people I dealt with seemed kind, however, there were misspellings in my court documents. Furthermore, the appeal process seemed easy enough... it is not. They make it incredibly hard. I asked them to clarify how much time I had to appeal (it did NOT specify business days etc.). How am I supposed to know and comply with an indirect deadline? I appealed within a 14 business day time frame. Overall not happy at all and am currently fighting to get my license back. This is ridiculous and there is no personal touch with how they handle cases. They look at us all as numbers rather than people. I am thoroughly upset and will keep trying however I expect very little.

wendy p: Frustrated...so Son posted bond on the spot Nov.2nd....was given a date to appear Nov.9 th..received paper work from District 54a saying arraignment Nov.14...cannot get a real person to talk to for verification..so to save your butt you better show on the 9th just to be told come back on the 14th..ridiculous you cannot get verification on the phone..waste of gas and time...

Megan Pizzo: Well it's almost 9 and they say they open at eight but their phone system is not working it says hello you reach 54th District Court please call during normal business hours Monday through Friday 8 to 5 but it's almost 9 and I can't call and get any information because their phone system very unprofessional.

Dori Jackson: This place is terrible. The police force is rude, dishonest, and arrogant. They write people up for petty crimes in a city that is crawling with young intelligent college kids with an actual future. The city is money driven and fail to keep half the citizens safe. There was a whole riot going on for sports right by their precinct and they did nothing, meanwhile a kid is smoking in their apartment and their busting down his doors. The reasonable people have all been fired.

Alexandria Galens: Received a ticket because of a lack of clarification in their online overnight parking form. I then tried to appeal it online only to have them immediately deny it. I finally go to pay the ticket and their online payment doesn't even work. So disappointed in this court

Jennifer Spencer: This is stupid. I have a friend who works at the 1855 place on Harrison and I have a handicap license plate. They have given me 3 tickets for not paying to park there and they should not be giving out tickets for people not to pay that have to handicap license plate. I have a disability which I have epilepsy and I should not get them since I have every right to park on those spots. So now I need to write them a letter and explain about my disability and they should let the people with a handicap stickers or license plate park for free.

They penny pinch you for Minute parking tickets, they’re quick to suspend your license but slow to tell you on whether or not things have been taken care of on everyone’s end. A complete disgrace!Andrea Larkin and staff have really failed the city of East Lansing!
