AmarieB Lansing: This was my absolute favorite publication "News For The Rest Of Us" for years until the recent article about the Top people to watch in Lansing. The Dr listed was one of them. He is my pcp he has screamed, yelled, argued, demanded i do a genesight test to make sure i needed the medications i was getting and the report said not only did i need them i needed more. He ignored this. Refuses to treat women such as myself as equals. I've been to 7 Drs in area in 5 1/2 years and it has been a night mare. I'ts almost impossible to find a Dr. In Lansing that isn't part of the Sparrow Group in some way. I've talked to lawyers, doctors, counselors, Medicaid, the AMA etc... It's too bad a patient has to be darn near dead before they are even treated with respect. Having mental health treatment in this city is almost just as impossible. It's no wonder 1/10th of the population in Lansing is homeless. No one cares. If you need help please don't waste your time going to this egotistic, male chauvinist, lunatic at Carefree Medical Center.

Yvonne LeFave: I've been a reader of the City Pulse for awhile now -- and even helped deliver it for a time. What I find is that it's the top of the town (smile) for local coverage. While its emphasis lately has been marijuana, it does leave room for other advertisers and copy. Check out their eye sore/eye candy of the week (which has helped encourage property owners to make/continue beautification efforts), local business and politics coverage, event listings, and online archives.
