Michigan Disability Rights Coalition: what do users think?
Dianna Giro: I never received a return call regarding the citation that I had explained to the person I was talking to.
AmarieB Lansing: Thats it? I need help and no one says anything about this orginization? It must be needed but suckage!!?? That's my only description since no one has a review to offer I'll guess.. PLEASE EVEN A GOOD LEAD AND I'LL SING YOUR TRUE PRAISES. I WON'T LIE BUT, IT WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED AND TRUTHFULLY REVIEWED, I LIVE BY THE GOLDEN RULE, THEREFORE YOU CAN TRUST MY WORD. Thank you so much to whomever at the coalition reads this. If none of you read or care about reviews because you do awesome jobs for each and every person you can possibly help so, who cares? That's great but, if you just don't care PLEASE quit, retire, start being honest, be the change. STOP WASTING DISABLED PEOPLES TIME AND RESOURCES. People have no idea what i have to power through just to leave the house. I don't need my time wasted. I apologise for this rant everyone reading. I'm just a super strong woman with issues. I'm the best at dealing with a crises even though i may seem to be out of control there is a method to my madness and i REFUSE TO LOSE WHEN IM NOT THE BAD GUY. Ill beat a dead horse and get a whiney so, I'm alone and haven't the proper resources for this fight someone has brought into my families lives and i won't go down, if i have to go to law school at 50 come back in 10 years and beat the scrooge in a new fight i will because that win will be for now. Someone HELP!! TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET ADVICE (beside the obvious, attorney) ill bring one to court but i refuse to be quieted. Counting on perfect strangers...

Board of Water & Light: what do users think?
Marilea Riddle: I didn't catch the name of the lady I spoke to but she was very fair and provided good customer service.
Alyssa Murray: Gina at the Haco st location, was so amazing! She helped us navigate a tough situation and got us all set up with service. I highly recommend coming to see Gina for your tough questions or concerns! Thanks again Gina!
Maria P: Never had an issue, power gets turned on pretty quickly after an outage and you always see their trucks in full force getting ready all over the city right before a big storm is coming. Especially compared to other places I've lived bwl is pretty good
Erika Brandi-Weiss: I have never had one problem with this company.
Sarah Wright: Has of December 13th 2021 the lobby is still closed due to COVID-19...Must use the kiosk...wouldn't trust the Dropbox to get checked also due to COVID-19
Zhichang Yang: waited one hour online for customer service and no one really answer the phone ever!
Doug Burruss: Can not find a method to report street lights out in Delta Township, MI.
Max: They charge a very high and inconvenient "convenience" fee to pay online. I hope the person who came up with this idea gets terrible hemorrhoids.
Jose Luis Rivera: Absolutely, without a doubt, the worst.
James Howlett: Great customer service , however expect to wait on the first 3 days of each month , due to ppl receiving their checks.
Jason Mask: Is there a reason you guys don't show your hours of business? Or a reason why you guys are not open Saturday or Sunday??? That's a major inconvenience for the public. People are in need of services on those days. SMH!
Matt Swanson: After livng here for about 4 months I am shocked at how poor the infrastructure is in East Lansing. I was without power in my apartment complex for 12 days after the ice storm hit. The management clearly had no plan in place for how to deal with the situation. And adding to the frustration the call centers were not open on the weekend when they clearly should have been. I am a student here am very proud to be a Michigan State Spartan but the town of East Lansing needs maor work. Three things I have noticed since moving here1) Get some leadership at the LBWL, you clearly have no effective management in place. 2) Fix the post office so people can actually receive their mail. 3) Do something to make sure the sidewalks are clear of ice. I am so tired of constantly slipping and sometimes falling as I walk through my neighborhood. Sorry about going off on a tangent but I expected the infrastructure to be atleast similar in quality to Ann Arbor where I moved from but it is really poor in comparison.
Tamara Dillard: The Christmas storm of 2013 has opened my eyes to how horrible the BWL handles outages of its customers !! BWL has had no communication to us customers until a week later , it's really sad that we pay these high utility rates and this Utility company could care less of their customers. BWL wasn't answering the phone nor releasing any info to consumers so not only were we in the dark and cold this company BWL left us in the dark in more than one way.... Totally unacceptable that BWL is just now getting extra crews , I have no confidence in this utility company ... I'm still not in my home and have no electricity going on 9 days later and still can't get any information on when my electricity will be restored in East Lansing.May God Bless the heartless BWL that cares nothing of the consumers /customers.
Stuart Blythe: You'll have better luck getting reliable, useful information from a toddler than from BWL. Their updates during the Christmas 2013 storm were at first non-existent. Then BWL began to send out updates that were too vague to be useful. Now, over a week after the power went out, my side of the street finally has power--except for my house. When I called to ask why, or when my house would be included, the BWL rep said he didn't know and couldn't say. Granted, our power mast was taken down, but we had the mast fixed, as instructed by BWL, four days ago.
Michel AR: This is a joke not a company.. After one week of no electricity they mention they are getting crews from outside the area to help when Consumer's Energy had crews coming in since day one of the power outage. I live in a subdivision of over a 1000 houses and still now power after we lost it one week ago. The company should be renamed to BW no L.We call and they say we have no time frame when other companies have guaranteed their customer's a set date for the power to be back.
Rick Shaw: They don't have enough staff to cover outages and do are not trimming trees far enough to avoid outages.
Kyle Waite: I would give them no stars if I could. It is acceptable that it takes a while to restore power after a bad storm. It is NOT acceptable that they provide no information on when it might be restored. I can't even get a hold of them. No call center. No recorded message. Nothing but a busy signal.
Tara Gillespie: After 4 months and several trips down to recopy my drivers license etc.. they still do not have it on file. Most of the staff is very rude and apparently i am suppose to babysit them and make sure they do there job. I have been getting shut offs for the past tenant and bye the time they get it right i will have shut off myself!!!! MAKE SURE THEY COPY YOUR INFO AND GET CONFORMATION!!!
