East Lansing Hannah Community Center: what do users think?
jennfer elise: I've only been there to do open swim. The pool seemed fine, but for some reason, there was very loud music playing, which I'm sure contributed to my 19 month old granddaughter being nervous. Kids playing loudly was totally expected, but the loud music was unnecessary.Plan to try again because we'd like to get her into swimming lessons. There also wasn't any clear signage about changing areas or anything. Just signs saying to shower first, but the shower water was ice cold, and the door didn't lock either. Hopefully, we just went to the wrong place.I'll definitely be looking into other options. Basically, we went through a lot (getting everything together, buying new swim diapers, loading up, driving, and paying money) just to be disappointed.
Kara Grace: Cost effective gym option if you want to swim! My favorite work out is lap swimming, but the options are scarce in the Lansing area unless you want to pay a high cost or are lucky enough to live close to the Alfreda Schmidt Center (free lap swims!!). I found this community center near my home and with a payment plan as an out of district resident I pay $25 monthly for access to the pool and to the gym! The gym has minimal equipment and is fairly small, but it works for my desire to get active and try some things out. The pool is gorgeous and always fairly warm, the locker rooms are also well maintained.
Tamera Thuma: I enjoyed a theatre production on the property. Very nicely kept grounds.Inside was very clean.Restroom was very clean.Overall a very pleasant experience.
Hien Dalat: Wow, I experienced a lot of 'first's here. Firstly, a lady who helped me preserve two swim slots, while being friendly, preserved two slots in April when it's already May. They sent me a receipt with zero charged. I thought it was free. Then the night before my swim time, I realized the mistake, I called but couldn't reach anyone. I tried to fix it with my account online - I was told my account was already registered - but none of the passwords worked. So I asked the system for a password retrieval email. None came. So I decided to come in the next day still, hoping that it's just a weird typo on the receipt. Nope, she actually reserved a day in the past for me. When I explained the situation to the lady at the front desk, she gave no apology at first, she had the audacity to lecture me to check the receipt. Hold up, what kind of software do you use that allows you to preserve past events?? This is a first. Does it still make sense to you that this is still my fault if you preserved a date in 2020 for me?? I had to stop her half way to ask that question. I had to stop her to explain what I tried in vain to reverse the situation. After 20 minutes, she said she's sorry. That should be the first thing that should have come out of her mouth. Because this is still firstly your responsibility. This is not how you do business, letting your customers check for your mistakes.I was really upset, called in to get a supervisor. I got someone who could squeeze me in at 2pm. The front desk lady who lectured me about what time to call in to get issues resolved? Well I called twice to get voicemail. Ok, don't lecture me then. I got there at 2pm, being told I had to pay. Ok, paying is no problem. The problem is the fact that no one had told me, not the lady who helped me preserve the time. What if I don't carry my card with me? I do that when I don't expect to spend. You're getting way too comfortable with the people around here that you assume everyone is in line. There are transitional people; this is a college town, mind you. After my swim, I found out there was no swimsuit drying machine. This is the third first. Never have I been in a swimming center that has no such machine.Three inconvenient incidents within a day is enough for me to pass on using this center again.
David Molenaar: No line to vote at 11:55 a.m. got in and out in 10 minutes
Linda Bennett: Went here to vote Everything was laid out very nicely
Craig Anderson: Used the satellite city clerk location. Quick and easy!!
Ben Eysselinck: It's a crazy year but it's an good place
Brian Hoort: The staff are always so cheerful and helpful.
Keith Evans: Really nice place to walk my dog with lots of bunnies to capture her interest.
Michael Conway: Great East Lansing facility.
Prime Time: A great place in our community!
Roz: Saw Annie. This venue is amazing for theater. And the play was wonderful!
Martha Ann Toy: Pool was nice.
Todd Swales: Great place!
Mary Ann Wagner: Great facility

Marie McAllister: Looks very dirty and smelly
Donna Page: Always there when you need them
Sally HHarrison: We pick up meals on wheels, tricounty office on aging there. Nice people, clean bathrooms. .
Collette Henderson: I have been taking karate and love it!The sensei is respectful and know an excellent instructor.
Robert Sandu: My kids enjoy playing tennis there.
Scott Scotson: Swim classes here are better than at the Schmitt community center since the pool is warmer. This is better for little kids so they aren't focusing on being cold when they need to learn life saving water skills. The lifeguards are just as unreliable as at Schmitt. Last week the life guard was sitting at the bench where there is a power outlet and was looking at his phone instead of watching the kids. I get it, parents are in with the kids, but then if you're not really needed why are you being paid for a job? There is a bit of a funny mold smell at one part of the pool that is probably from it being a pretty old place that could use some renovation. The instructor for swim classes at this location had been excellent. At Schmitt there were a few good instructors amoung some really bad ones.

Cristo Rey Community Center: what do users think?
Lansing live production team VIDEO'S: Great place to get any kind of help you need you need help with food they will help you if you need help with your medical and they have a clinic if you need clothing they have a clothing closet if you need personal supplies they have personal supplies for you
Charles Green: Don't receive requested procedures. Doesn't prescribe birth control. Went straight to hell in last 6 months. Not worth the run around.
Christina Adams: They say they serve breakfast and lunch but the cook throws trays of food at people then scream yell and curse at minor children then the "supervisor" or " manager" leaves instead of calling me back someone NEEDS to investigate this place like yesterday.
Todd Jones: Good way to meet new people from lansing mi also the good food breakfast and lunch
Tdawg Savage23: Don't prescribe disability meds
AmarieB Lansing: They have warm meals in a clean environment, AA meetings, crafts, a Clinic, Food pantry, personal needs, clothing room (free), a chapel and much more. It's a wonderful place with good people. You can also do community service there. Check it out.
brandon Arnold: I've seen cockroaches while they was serving food they pick and choose whom they help most they don't reply to you calls about help with food when really in need and referenced by Ana from the food bank place they transfer you too a thousand people whom never answer phone calls thier not like they used to be I hate even asking for help when really need it get hopes let down.
Maxwell Warszawski: Great Community & Community Care.
Steven Neil: They helped me get my prescriptions and helped with food. Can't say enough good things about this organization Thank You sincerely.
Nathan Dowell: Very helpful and friendly people. Been here quite a few times mainly for assistance with food, but also a few other things and always leave satisfied and grateful.
Marcelino Gonzales: Last fall, being Hispanic I came into an establishment I thought would look out for and treat Hispanics better. I am a disabled Vietnam vet and I was looking for legal assistance, for some financial issues I feel I’m being taken advantage of. I explained to the legal counselor what the problem was and what exactly I was looking for. The counselor directed me to the Cuzydlo law firm. I talked to Mr. Cuzydlo explained the issue and Mr. Cuzydlo assured me he could resolve the problem. I signed a $1800.00 retainer agreement, now $4,000 later I am no closer to having the issue resolved. I just had open heart surgery and between the cost of medication, treatment, and the cost of living. I just don’t think I can afford to pay him anymore and the issue is still ongoing and I’m not sure what to do. I thought Cristo Rey would have used or sought out people, or businesses that would actually help rather than making a profit on the back of the disabled. I don’t see where Cristo Rey helped anyone other than being able to SAY we sent you to someone. Very disappointed no real assistance for the Hispanic Veterans. Respectfully; Marcelino Gonzales
Esmeralda E. Perez de Lopez: They rock
Devin Hauenstein: Helpful staff focused on a great cause.
Robin Velasquez: It's good
