Mason Kowalski: I worked for vmg for a single day about 2 years ago. I spent the day roofing a 3 story apartment complex and at the end of the day, the owner, who's name is Ray, offered me $10 an hour. I told Ray I was not interested in continuing to work a construction job for $10 an hour. He never paid me a dime for the day I worked and ignored my calls when I tried to get paid. I also noticed in the single day I worked here that Ray does things the cheap way rather than the right way to maximize his profits. Call someone that treats their employees fairly and does the job right!

Ann McCulloch: We contracted with VMG Construction to completely finish a partially finished basement and to replace a carpeted floor in our living room with hardwood. It was a lenghty, detailed project that involved creation of built-in bookshelves around a TV as well as a custom dry kitchen area. Ray and the crew worked from designs upstairs and Pinterest photos, and the results for both were beyond what we had imagined. They added a bedroom and a full bath, installed a beautiful floor, and gave a needed update to our storage room with sturdy shelving that replaced existing free-standing shelves. The painting, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work were all done with great care. Upstairs, the team matched an out-of-stock hardwood and created a beautiful pattern with the new flooring. Everyone on the job was a pleasure to work with - no question or detail were too small. VMG helped make our home complete, and we are very grateful!

We had delays to the timeline provided in the original contract, but we also received excellent work, Ray and his team took a lot of hard decisions for us and made them easier, fixed things if they weren't right, and most importantly, put a shower in I, someone who is 6' 5" can stand upright in. Mark Iwen: My wife and I had All Phase completely redo our lower floor bathroom: they put in a new tile floor, cabinets, sink, a new walk-in shower, fan, lighting, and new hookups for a stackable washer and dryer (which they also installed for us after we got them the stacking kit). We love it. The work was a little behind the initial schedule they gave us, but they kept us in the loop with all planning and explained everything as the job progressed. They were also very good about responding to, and fixing, small issues we noticed and wanted changed as the work went on. We would definitely use them again.

Significant projects include enclosing the screened-in porch; gutting and renovating the kitchen and main bathroom; building a new deck; and installing quartz countertops, tile back splashes, stone sinks, and new faucets in the kitchen. APR identifies all of the components of a project and prepares a proposal based on those components, so there are no “surprises” as the project progresses. APR schedules its employees and subcontractors with the goal of completing a project on time. I have always been very comfortable having APR’s employees and subcontractors in my home, whether or not I am there with them. I recommend APR without reservation.

Celeste Willard: Always love working with this company. Lots of great remodeling ideas for your home. They have a wall that shows just a sample of past work they've done. The owner and his son are personable and knowledgeable. As a family owned business they seem to go the extra mile.
Steve Fox: Called Raven Enterprises in to do an estimate on a basement remodel. I gave them the budget I had to work with. Nothing was said about my budget being reasonable or unreasonable at the time of the visit to our home. They just asked what we wanted to do and took some measurements. When we got the estimate about a week later, the estimate was 75% over our budget. Now, I understand it when people have unreasonable expectations for a given budget. That was apparently what happened here. Instead of telling us our budget was not reasonable or working with our budget they completely blew out the budget. I found that to be terribly unprofessional and I cannot in good conscience recommend this firm.
Nichole Vane: Raven did a good job with our remodel. There were a few issues with drywall and our banister, but overall we are happy with the look of our new home. My biggest complaint would be the communication, my goodness it's like pulling teeth! I hardly knew where our project stood as far as completion, which thanks to COVID was hard to say when certain things would arrive. However, when I call and get "oh that came in last week, hasn't anyone called to install that?" more than once, it gets frustrating to say the least!! Not to mention the "oh they'll be calling this week to set that up".....another 2 months go by and I'm again calling to get this completed. Ross offered compensation for lost time from work (which we said was unnecessary, but he insisted) and Ross came out the next day to give an estimate for basement remodel. They installed a new roof. It leaks.2. They installed 4 new bedroom replacement windows. They are so difficult to move, they are practically un-openable, the trim falls off easily, and the windows look odd because the upper and lower sashes aren't they same proportions to the windows they replaced.3. They painted the whole exterior, and it pealed so badly, we had to have it completely redone 3 years later.Ended up taking them to small claims court where we won on paint and lost on the windows.
