M Lowe: I am a meat person, my husband isn't. We both ordered beef tips tonight. It was the worst meal I have ever had at Texas Roadhouse. Most of my meat was not edible, some was cold, some of mashed potatoes were cold, green beans were barely warm. My husbands meal was fine. I left wads of chewed gristled meat on dish. Won't be going back any time soon.

J B: Equal to Outback.The steaks are cooked well. Unlike some steakhouses, they don't overcook it.I wouldn't go for anything else. Iceberg salad lettuce, all the fried items taste like flour (including onion and country fried items), and the rolls are over-hyped. They are just normal rolls with some weird cinnamon margarine on the side.Some of the servers didn't feel like they fit the venue. And I was surprised they still had Bud-Light/Weiser signs up.

Crystal Schneider: Food tasted fine, service was fine, but the restaurant itself felt dingy to me. I was confused when we walked in and I thought we were going to be walked to the back for a seat and then I learned I was looking at the entire restaurant.The pictures on here are super deceiving imo. My husband and I went here for our wedding anniversary and got seated in a random corner that felt like an afterthought table was placed by a storage closet covered with a sheet. There were drywall chunks missing on the walls by us. It didn’t feel nice at all. If you want an upscale experience this place is NOT it. Will never be back.

Jeneen Hinkle: I visited Bowdies for the first time recently. I have been trying to get here since 2018 ish, as I work in Lansing, but l commute over an hour to work and am usually rushing to make it home after working all day. I'm glad I finally made it here! The service was great! I had the filet with mashed potatoes and a side of greenbeans! My steak and sides were good. I also tried the shrimp bisque, which was also good. However, I had the crab cake appetizer, and it was amazing! I've tried crabcakes in a lot of restaurants, even in Maryland, and this was hands down thee best crabcake I've ever eaten! I'll be back!

We started with scallops then got the Tomahawk steak for 2 with the Brussel sprouts and shrimp bisque. They even gave us a complimentary birthday dessert that was equally as amazing. matt clara: I had a $62 fillet mignon that was good. But I tell you what, I make a filet that is nearly as good and doesn't cost $62. Their porterhouse is $140. I made one last week that cost me $10 at Meijer's and had a filet attached that was more tender than the $62 filet I had at Bowdie's and that porterhouse tasted as good as any steak I've ever had, because I know how to season and sear them, and in the end I have to say Bowdie's is not worth the price.

We were seated in the bar area, which would normally have been fine, but it was at least 10 degrees colder than the rest of the restaurant. Prior to our server arriving at the table, he had gone up to the host stand to ask if we could possibly be seated in another area. Despite there being plenty of other available areas to be seated, the host indicated it wasn’t possible. At this juncture, we decided to leave, and the host didn’t bother to stop us from doing so either.
