Zaytoon Mediterranean: what do users think?
Jessica Smith: I really have been disappointed more and more with Zaytoon. The good is okay, but it used to be great. The service is mediocre, but it used to be great. The quality and correctness of my past three orders has been downright horrid. Missing items, takeout containers that weren't closed and dressing went everywhere... Just disappointing. When attempting to have the errors corrected, the hostesses/cashiers always seem to have better things to do. I think I'm done with Zaytoon. Sad.
Susan Martin: Yum. Excellent. Seriously good food. The rice is perfect! I'm in love with the hummus. Chicken Shawarma is so flavorful. Absolutely going to be a weekly thing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Heather Field: We found several beads in our salad. My daughter almost choked on it. They apologized and were aware that a bracelet broke during prep. It seemed to me that they could have easily avoided serving that to customers. They gave us a gift card, and we tried them a second time. That time, I paid extra for a salad and never got it. Other parts of our order were wrong. The restaurant is not very clean either. We will not be back.
Brian Gouliquer: Amazing food, super friendly service, oh and did I mention amazing food :) definitely a go to spot in Lansing.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Erin Shrum: Best med food in Lansing. We eat here at least once per week. Good for lunch or dinner. Chicken kabob combo with lentil soup 💯💯💯 five stars
Claudio Miranda: The food here is exceptional and the staff as well. Always enjoy coming here when I'm in town for work. Really appreciate the service. Keep it up everyone!Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
TheDonCrazePhaze: Not great...argued about order.Food: 3/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Wd Jones: Great hummus!!!!Food: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Ilona Forshey: I grew up eating Mediterranean food, so I've eaten a lot of it over the years. This place is fantastic. For a very understated place, they are serving up insanely amazing food. The signed Guy Fieri poster mentioning the restaurant by the register makes complete sense now. Absolutely delicious.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options
Paul Titov: Been coming here since they opened, used them on 3 catering occasions and couldn’t be more satisfied. Sammy (owner) is a great guy and always took care of our needs. Great job Zeytoon!!!
Joseph Christmas: We arrived at 6PM and were out of gyros (daily special), kafta and lentils. They also only serve lamb on weekends, which isn’t mentioned on their website or menus. The food they actually had was very disappointing. The tabouli was flavorless, as were the Greek fries. The flafel and hummus was ok. The bread was really good. Overall this trip was terrible experience.
les vanalstine: Very limited menu and really really poor service. Very bad attitude.
miles fitzpatrick: Zaytoon’s is the best Mediterranean restaurant in the Greater Lansing Area HANDS DOWN! It’s owned and operated by my personal friend, Sammy Aburashed, who was born and raised in Lebanon. He has been featured TWICE on Diners, Drive Ins and Dives of which I appeared in one episode!! If you’re looking for that AUTHENTIC MIDDLE EAST / Mediterranean taste, look no further!! (Pictured below is my most recent dinner from Zaytoon’s.
Robert Byrnes: Great Mediterranean restaurant. Always going back.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Nabeel Kasim: After hearing a lot of great things about Zaytoons, I came here for lunch with a friend. It was an overcast day so I must admit photos of the exterior look a bit dilapidated. Nonetheless, upon walking into the restaurant, the dining area was noticeably dark. They had a huge menu with lots of options to choose from. I ordered the chicken shawarma plate. It came with rice hummus, shawarma, and choice of soup or salad. I went with their lentil soup. The rice was basic par-boiled rice, nothing to write home about. As for the hummus, lentil soup, and chicken, there was a nice mix of spice and textures that made the dish a yummy combination. But, there was nothing significant about presentation, flavors, or preparations that really sets this restaurant apart as mediterranean restaurant. While the food didn’t showcase much flare, I must say the staff and service is reason to come back. The lovely ladies who were working hard to take orders and deliver food to tables were super friendly and made sure that we were taken care of. All in all, Zaytoon’s is a place to grab a quick bite for lunch with friends, family, or coworkers but I really wouldn’t credit it for much more than that. Given the location, they are doing the area a service.

Chicken shawarma and beef kabobs were especially delicious.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma Plate, Beef Kabob …More
Steve B: Five different employees have now stated that the owner of this company has not been paying them their wages, including a former General Manager. In response to this, the owner claims all 5 former employees are disgruntled and "out to get him". This is the height of gaslighting. The owner of this company has apparently gotten himself into a financial jam of some type and has decided that not paying his employees is the way to handle it. There are also violations of health code in the restaurant as recently as this year. I would strongly recommend against doing business with this restaurant. They are ripping off employees and serving you potentially poisonous food.
Jena L: Chicken shawarma was sooooo tasty! Loved the hummus and garlic sauce as well :)Food: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Shawarma Plate …More

La Marsa East Lansing: what do users think?
AAA M: Was looking for a greek salad online & went to Papa Rittos and asked about the menu posted online. I was told that is not food that is available, maybe in a few months at another location.Second attempt went to the drive through to order a snack. Was given half my order & the window was closed on me & helper left. I just drove off & will not return.Confusing & not worth it. Please improve your business communication.
Michelle C: It's very frustrating that the business doesn't have either both names listed on the building or on here. We were just there and didn't know it was the correct business because from the outside it indicates it's Papa Rotti, a coffee shop. We left thinking we didn't find the right place and likely won't be back.
Hoorain Shaikh: It used to be our go to place but today was terrible. The order was for dine in and she put it for to go also i waited like more than an hour for food and drinks. Everyone who came after me got their orders and we were just sitting there. When i went to talk to the person they were looking at me and ignoring me as well. When i asked for the manager she said he is not there. What kind of place this has become. It was our anniversary dinner that they spoiled. Thank you you lost one of your loyal customer.
Jawad Vaid: Food is great. Ordering via EatStreet service is terrible. We ordered and came to pick up and they didn't prepare our food. La Marsa staff blamed EatStreet and didn't process the order because it had baba ghanoush which they don't serve. If you don't serve it why is it on the online menu? When asked why we weren't called about the issue staff said EatStreet didn't provide the number. Why use a terrible ordering service? Again food is great but if you can't order it and get it when you need it, what's the point?
Krystina Thompson: Coming from someone who has driven back to Brighton for the last 5 years for LaMarsa, it pains me to say that we will have to continue to make that drive. First of all, it's a limited menu in East Lansing compared to the actual full restaurant. Knowing that, I still placed an order, only to be severely disappointed. For starters, what is this flat and tasteless pita they have here? The Brighton location has amazing pita cooked in a wood-fire oven that puffs up nicely and tastes so good! So while you may save my waistline with this sub-par pita, it requires extra hummus and garlic sauce to make it edible, so maybe not. The hummus and garlic sauce are good though. Also good is the fattoush salad with the shish tawook chicken....although the portion sizes are not as good. The regular sized salad is the same size as the small salad in Brighton. The crushed lentil soup has good flavor, but it's runny....not thicker like in Brighton. So overall, save your money and let your taste buds salivate on a road trip to Brighton! Also, my original takeout order did not include the 2 bowls of lentil soup that I paid for. I turned around to get the soup and they hadn't even made it for my order and forgotten to give it to me. I still had to wait for them to make it. So it took 45min and 2 trips to the restaurant for them to fulfill an order of a salad with chicken and soup. Just absurd.
John Nevin: Love La Marsa! Our favorite is the full order of deboned chicken. Hummus is among the best in the area. And can't forget the garlic sauce.
J.: The *best* Mediterranean food I've found in Lansing! Chicken is flavorful, lentil soup is perfect, rice with almonds is *chefs kiss*, and really good salads/dressing.My only complaint is the portion size of the grilled vegetables side. The first time I ordered, they forgot it completely and the second time, I only get a slice or two of pepper and a small chunk of onion. Pretty disappointing.
Destany Jackson: I've been looking for a good chicken shawarma that taste like back home and I've finally found it. I just ordered my food through grubhub and its already gone. Wish I bought two. You guys have now found a loyal customer. Will be ordering from you guys again.
Mohamed Gorgi: Tha was amazing food and service.staff very professional.coming back soon

M P: Get a real delivery driver or at least actually update your delivery menu to reflect your full menu
Edrees: As someone who has lived in Michigan for a while and has sampled Mediterranean cuisine from various cities like Detroit, Dearborn, Troy, and others, I must say that this particular establishment is overrated. The lamb lacks any discernible taste despite its tenderness, and the chicken also lacks flavor. When it comes to prices, Sahara in Sterling Heights offers better value for money, and their food is superior, especially if you don't mind dining at a chain restaurant. However, if you're looking for a local restaurant that provides a more satisfying experience, I highly recommend trying Tabooli. If you're seeking a diluted version of Mediterranean cuisine, this place might suit you.
Marios Fotiadis: I placed an order of chicken shawarma through uber eats, yet the only thing that tasted right was the rice and the pita .The chicken tasted and smelled completely different than any other time, as if it was from an older batch.I called the store right away to report my horrible experience, however the manager seemed to not care about my complain and kept reassuring me that next time he will take care of my order.

Abby Mondro: I absolutely love this place. Ever since I moved to East Lansing for college, I have been missing my hometown Mediterranean restaurant, and I was so pleased to discover a place that makes food as good as they do. I like to treat myself to carryout once a week, and as much as I try to switch it up, it always ends up being carryout from here! The owners and employees are so kind, the food is delicious, and the prices are great. I have tried everything on the menu basically, but I would highly recommend the crushed lentil soup, makhali, veggie and/or lamb grape leaves, lamb kabob dinner, chicken shawarma dinner, garlic sauce, and their health cocktail raw juice.

Lydia Itsell: Yeah…I know…a 5 out of 5.But nostalgia and taste really do align with locals when it comes to Woody’s.If you grew up in the outer Lansing area in the Aughts…it was our first taste of hummus before weight watchers deemed it the healthiest pairing to 0 point options (no dig, it’s true!)Point being…in my 30 years, Lansing has opened its doors to an incredible tapestry of culinary endeavors I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and taste. I can only hope this is a sign that our community is opening not just its palette…but it’s mind.I was forutunate enough to be reminded of what an impression Woody’s made on me when I lived in said “Lansing bubble” where Taco Bell was my first introduction to eating Al fresco.Thank you Marie for reminding me of what an impression and trailblazer woodys has been in my life and our community!……and for the extra piece of namoura. ❤️Vegetarian options: It’s VERY much vegetarian friendly with litterally half its menu split in two with half of it being “vegetarian”. Got to love Mediterranean cuisine and it’s natural inclusivity ❤️Parking: Plenty of parking spots around.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible spots right up front with a ramp in front of the main door.
Niasha48: We’ve been looking for great Mediterranean food since moving to the Lansing area - and I’m happy to report that we finally found our gem! We had the garlic chicken kebabs and the beef kafta - both of which were outstanding! Perfectly marinated and spiced and the sides were just as good! Since our meals were so amazing, I decided we should try the baklava and ordered a few to go… I literally melted into heaven after the first bite! BEST baklava I have ever had! We’ll be back for sure! Thank you Woodys!

Under Ach1ever83: First time here, May 2023.Pretty busy at lunch, but the line went fast. They had a ton of mobile orders they had to deal with.I had Chicken Schwarma lunch which comes with salad, rice, chicken, hummus, and pita. Oddly, the pita was the bagged kind you can buy at the store, nothing special. I also had falafel. The food was pretty good, but not amazing. I liked it, but the chicken was a bit dry. Everything else was pretty good. The hummus was really good.Quick service. Decent food. Decent portions. Friendly staff. I will go back.

Peyton Metheringham: Great food and service!
Cassandra Hancock: The employee is an African young man. He is very rude and doesn’t listen very well. He refused to fill my soup bowl to the top. I feel they are cheating customers.
Gamer 48917: Fresh and delicious food with friendly service. Quick and satisfying meal. jennfer elise: I've never had such flavorless, watery hummus. It was actually awful.I tried some of my friends' chicken schwarama, and that was pretty bad too.If you want good Middle Eastern food, go to Alladins or Zaytoon.Or make it yourself. The service was fine and it was clean from what I saw but the food was pretty terrible.
Raymond Meier: This was horrible got toboli salad and it was old and rotten. Took one bite about threw up and they wouldn't give me a refund or new salad. I don't recommend the Waverly store.

Francis Lewis: The food is really good, and the service is good, but that's where it ends. Expect to pay an extra $1.49 for every tiny thing that makes a meal. 2 adult meals + 1 grilled cheese sandwich cost $58 😱 I pay that much for our little family (including a tip) at an upscale place, which this definitely is not. It is also the most I've spent on Mediterranean food out of anywhere I've been, including Seattle at a very nice place. The signage is not sufficient to say that you'll be 1.50'd for every little thing. The food was good, but for that price, we will not be back.
Alonzo Avents: Great food
Nadeen West: Tabooli on Waverly has the best mediterranean cuisine in Lansing, the staff is extremely kind and generous. The falafel is fried fresh and the beef shawarma is a family favorite. We will be back again and again.
Dan Alt: My wife and I enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma Wrap and the Chicken Kabob Wrap along with a side of fresh Falafel. The food is delicious with large portions. Serving staff is helpful and fun to chat with.Vegetarian options: Wide variety of vegetarian options available.
Shawn Spencer: Great food and people. Love the orange(hot) sauce on everything. I come here pretty often when out working.
Robert Herzing: The food is pretty sub-par, but it's decent. The falafel is really oily and kind of burnt, yet underdone on the inside. The rice is pretty bland, but tender. The service is really good and the employees are very friendly. If you're in the mood for Mediterranean, but don't have a lot of time, this might work.
Christopher B: The food was delicious had a chicken sharwma bowl not disappointed what so ever service was very kind friendly and very positive would eat here again no questions asked

Woody's Oasis Mediterranean Deli: what do users think?
Madeline Robison: Ok food, doesn’t give paying customers water/cup for water? Never experienced that before.
Margaret Babich: This place is wonderful . They never disappoint . The chicken kabob comb is so good . The staff is so nice and friendly . Has been a great place to stop before heading up north and back . Thank you
Justin Petrill: Used to have great gyros, but my last visit was awful. They forgot my order and then gave me a gyro so greasy the wrap fell apart instantly. The food also was cold and overall a bad experience.
Hama: Their food is not bad most of the time but recently I’ve been getting the chicken shawarma and rice that they have and I’m so sad each time as the rice is very uncooked and hard. I end up having to throw the food away because after just 5 minutes of trying to eat it despite the uncooked rice, my tears flood my plate.
Mike Kieliszewski: I had the chicken schwarma wrap, and it tasted like chicken and rice casserole from a school cafeteria. I felt like a victim of a bait and switch. Do not get schwarma at Woody's.
Derping Flamingo: hello world
Mehmet alper: Notr
Robert Wahl: Excellent, as usual, chicken shawarma and Mediterranean salad. Lots of food for lunch!
Brian Gapp: That olive burger was really good, and surprisingly filling. Woody's Oasis is 2 for 2 in my book now (the chicken kabob I had here last week was equally satisfying)
Tycho Aussie: Healthy alternative to conventional lunch fare. I try to keep my dollars on MSU campus now because East Lansing city policies are proving to be unfriendly to MSU employees. So I'll just minimize my patronage of Easy Lansing businesses.
Amran Hasan: Love it
Angela Vaughn: Excellent
Zachary King: Terrific food just limited menu as compared to their stand alone restaurant as this is a college campus food court. A great alternative to the daily normal and will not disappoint your taste buds!
Yvens Rumbold: A really good alternative for something different! Try the olive burger 🍔!
Narender Raju Panjagari: Loved it
Raymond Lesiyon: Amazing food!
Shannon Quinn: the chicken and rice is the best. andbaklava.
Kyle Metta: Woody's is an institution for fast casual Mediterranean lunch and early dinners. Everything prepared is well balanced and tasty.
Ajay Mehta: Cheap, good quality Mediterranean Food
Eric Alstrom: The spicy falafel sandwich is the best. Warm and crunchy falafel with cool lettuce and tomatoes along with the tangy and spicy hummus. Makes a great lunch.
William: Pretty decent on the go Mediterranean food. A bit pricier now.
