Qiys Salim: This place is really nice people who work there are friendly and respectful. A lot of different flavors to choose from. Also a pool table available. All and all it’s amazing place
Gloire Kibangula: When you need some relaxation this is the place to go you can choose on where to be seated I’ve been going to this place since 2015 the owner is very nice the staff is amazing you can play music of your choice it can’t get better than that I love it.
D S: This place has drastically gone down hill over the last 4-5 years. There's a $10 overhead charge on Saturday nights, the lighting makes me sick (red lights are not a good look), the couches haven't been replaced, they're ripped and sunken in making it very uncomfortable. The employees don't keep up on changing the coals which makes for a very harsh smoke or after a while no smoke at all. The hookahs has a very nasty taste of bleach in them, and a very thin smoke is produced. The employees seem short staff so maybe that's the reason they don't tend to the hookah after you get it. And at times it's taken over a half hour to get your hookah, and it's definitely not in order of who was in line first etc. The pool tables are always having problems, missing balls, getting stuck, pool sticks aren't even decent even though they require you're id to get one. This was once a decent place to chill and relax but it's like they are only in it for the money and not updating essential things. New furniture and lighting would make a huge difference, and am extra staff to help out.
O F: *Don't waste your money*Cons: poor customer service (staff will ignore you if you ask for coal, they will never come back and change then unless you ask repeatedly).Poor environment (fights break out, couches are horrendous and torn, the look is unappealing)Overpriced ($10 cover, $2 for extra mouthpiece).There is NOTHING special, the music sucks since people play what they want and a song NEVER finishes. Just vibe killers.Hookah isn't great.I came here when it first opened and it was fun with a live dj. They were on top of the coals and it was fun. Now they just don't care which is why they're ratings are going down. Place is a disappointment.

Andrew Buckner (SystemOfSilence): This is not a laid back quiet lounge to enjoy a smoke with your friends at. It is a loud night club experience that is poorly furnished and catering hipster inner city crowd. The $10 cover charge per person and fake security thugs carrying airsoft guns were particularly irritating.

Lexus Finegan: Honestly, I started coming here during my freshman year of college, and it was nice at first. But now the quality of hookah and service is HORRIBLE! I have to continuously ask for coals and they burn out much sooner than they should. I’ve been smoking hookah for a while now and going to lounges and this one by far is the worst experience it’s ever been. There’s only one employee that’s working while the others stand around looking and just talk to customers when people need help. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! You’re better off getting your own hookah and doing it at home.
Mariam Naser: Ordered an orange head and it looked like they rushed through it. No toothpicks were in it and they tried to tell us there were some when we called. They really didn't seem to care. Smh.
Mifta Uddin: Amazing service and amazing hookah! Get their orange or grapefruit heads for a super long session (2-3 hours)! Natural coals for a less frequent need to change coals and no headaches. Definitely the best hookah lounge in Lansing,MI.

John: Unlike a lot of other reviews, I will start by saying from what I can tell this business is more sanitary and clean than it’s given credit for. Though it is pricey, I will say I find it worth it when there’s other patrons and there is a wide array of products in the shop (which are fairly priced). However the customer service here is very disappointing. At my first couple visits the service was wonderful but I have not had the same level of service since then. Lately when I’ve been coming in there is a very unenthusiastic woman who does not make the atmosphere welcoming running the front desk. I think that if the business wants to thrive the staff will need to hire new passionate employees or at least act friendly towards customers. I do not think I would’ve returned here had my initial interactions been this unwelcoming so I think it is dangerous for this business to continue along this route. Please hire enthusiastic and sociable employees so others aren’t turned away. I’m sure there are suitable candidates around especially considering the location of the business (another plus, a good amount of college guys come in). Thank you.

I had been shopping for a couple of minutes when the male clerk told me there was no loitering in the store unless I was buying something. Apparently you 're not allowed to looking at the products.... commonly called shopping. This is why Amazon wins for shopping.

Joseph Sagy: I have been going to this place since 2000 and always had a great time. But tonite 7/9/2022 will be my last. The parking lot to the rear of the Exchange was $5 with a voucher if you were going to the Exchange or Omar's which would be taken off your bill. Now it is $10 with a $5 voucher. Have no problem with this. The parking attendant said she ran out of $5 vouchers so I was would not get the $5 off. She told me to ask the bartender and she gave her name.(very nice person). Talked to the bar maid but she said she could not do it or she would lose her job. The other person in there was also no help. They needed a voucher. What's wrong with this picture, call the manager or owner and get more vouchers, there still are a lot of parking spaces. I was angry and left and will never set foot in this place again. What ever happened to customer service. Do those employees even understand that the Exchange lost between $50 to $70 from me and the employees a tip. They need to be educated.
Jim Ashman: Went in with a few friends last Thursday night for some drinks. Lo took outstanding care of us. Funny, personable, and incredibly creative when it comes to making Martinis.She crafted a custom martini for each of us based on our preferences and no one was disappointed. As a lover of bourbon, mine featured a generous portion of Woodford Reserve and it was fantastic.I will absolutely be back again.

Eric S.: They wouldn’t allow us in with tickets for an event here purchased in advance that was supposed to have cover included. The employees sympathized but said their hands were tied due to directives from management. The Tin Can, also part of the event, offered us free drinks due to the horrible service we received from Dukes (we were not the only ones) after they first tried talking to Dukes management for us even though they had nothing to do with it. This place is awful. Don’t go here. Go to Tin Can next door instead. Tin Can is amazing, Dukes is a rip off. Duke’s slogan “never a cover for the ladies” is also a lie. They were charging everyone $10 cover including ladies. I enjoyed my last visit here before the pandemic, but this place just isn’t worth patronage anymore.
Kyle Graham: I used work at Duke's and frequent the place when I wanted to have a night out. The music, drinks, staff, and atmosphere used to great until now. My girlfriend and I were forced to remove our leather riding vests before we could enter. Mind you, I'm a military veteran so my vest has all my past unit patches and patriotic symbols. They said "It could cause a problem" If it does that then other people are the problem. Don't recommend this place anymore.

We notified the security and bartender's as soon as we noticed they were missing and they did nothing. Asked to speak to the manager and she refused to speak with us. We asked to see the camera and the said only the owner could do that and we had to make a police report so they could do an investigation. I highly suggest not leaving anything laying around because you will get no resolution...

Cora Ballou: hottest bartenders in east lansing by far
Mark Nelson: Underground grime-central but great at being exactly that.Lots of open space and a big dance floor. Fun to watch the college kids struggle to dance to the DJ's completely undanceable radio tracks, but worth it just for that.Easy to get in and leave.
