Taha Memon: I had an extremely unusual request in that the letter “R” came off from the Predator logo in the front of my gaming monitor. Mark was able to understand my request and send me the small front part of the monitor which had the logo for me to replace. Extremely satisfied with the outcome of my request.
Iggy Kush: Sent incorrect charging cable, then blamed ME for the mistake. Charging money to replace now. Horrible company. The reviews are true, do not do business here.
Apex Systems: Really wonderful people. Lola helped me get exactly the part I need even though I had to take some extra steps to make the payment.
Shane Tisdale: The man there is professional, courteous, upbeat, and positive; you will like him. Not sure why that mix didn't add up for success, but no.I went there to get an estimate on data recovery for a hard drive, and when the call came back it was for like something typical, total, like $15-250 dollars or something, which was a LOT of money for me. I agreed though, as these were just estimates. Much time was taken and passed, and phone calls in, on my own accord, but nothing.Finally, I received the call back that the total was $850 dollars. And, I was like, ..."..for what? Data recovery and or data recovery to a whole new, portable hard drive doesn't even amount to half of that; so, what happened?" I was told that the unit had to be fixed, which was not requested, and it was sent out to California, which was more money.I could not pay at the new price to even get my unit back, but never forgot, and yes, the man was still cool about it, as I scrambled for a credit card of some sort to start to make payments or something.I went back in three times, over time, to check back with the guy, to see if we could start making payments via credit card, and more, to no avail; he was never in anymore, or at least for me, never would return my calls back anymore, and I could not get the unit back either, by paying for it of course, neither.Sadly, for these reasons, I would never return back to this place again, nor recommend it to others.

Nick Pansini: Easily the rudest owner (Mark Holmes) I've ever spoke to in the industry. Sold me a fake battery for my laptop, refused to return it saying it's been 30 days (on the 30th day) and saying he couldn't find my transaction even after willing to email him a receipt.Tried to charge me triple the cost of a genuine battery, wouldn't verify the serial number or part number of the new battery so I can compare it to the first one he sold me. Hung up on me 3 times, refused to refund or return.I would highly recommend staying away from this business as you'll either be ripped off by their price gouging or take advantage of because of the lack of knowledge. I also sent in a complain to gateway/acer as they use this company as a 3rd party vendor. Poor choice.
Michaela: WORST company I have ever experienced!!! I wish there was a negative star option!! My family took our laptop to Capital Data Inc in Lansing Michigan. Mark W. Holmes, the president of this business promised to fix it for under $100. When it was time to pick it up Mr. Holmes asked for $200 to fix it... When confronted with the price he gave us and the receipt he got aggressive and highly unprofessional. He refused to return the laptop unless we paid him $50 for a so called "diagnostic." He had no receipt validating this $50 charge and he never mentioned this until we refused to pay him $200. He refused to return our laptop and threatened to sell the laptop for parts in order to make a profit. No concept for customer service! He said we can go ahead and sue him in the small claims court for all he cared and that he'll tell the authorities that we abandoned the laptop. Need I say that this man is probably in his late 50s, 60s. At one point, he started mocking me and making cry baby faces, repeating everything I said... clearly unstable, I freaked out and called the cops. Not a big shocker when he was dishonest with the police officer. He refused to return my property even when the officer urged him to do so a number of times. My family is out of a laptop and the authorities cannot help, since this is a small claims court case. Who's got the money for a lawyer?!? Clearly, I am not the first victim, since Mark Holmes, president of Capital Data Inc, in Lansing, Michigan knows exactly what he can get away with this.PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Pamela Austin: After waiting over 6 hours the Geek Squad never remotely came into my PC to help with the problem I called about. They had an outage. They do not issue partial credits for this major fail. They can charge you for the annual plan then not support you when needed. Also a waste of time to have auto menu talk you thru steps that need to be redone, once a Rep finally comes on the phone. Waste of time and waste of annual fee.
Dan Gunter: Insignificant wait at the start of the dinner hour. Fast friendly and quite helpful service as we had questions about some of the entrees. Roasted brussel sprouts appetizer was very nice. Completely awesome ribeye with excellent mashed potatoes as a side. My wife loved her sirloin with creamed spinach for her side dish. All in all, just a wonderful night out, this is why they are always high on our list I'll places to go.

Kris Gibbons: I would like to commend all the Geek Squad employees on their tolerance for being verbally harassed by customers. When I went in today to have my phone screen fixed, I witnessed several older customers becoming very angry and frustrated with their simple wait times. All the Geek Squad agents kept their cool and explained everything to their customers to the best of their ability. The agent who helped me and who fixed my phone, Matt, was fantastic. I appreciated that he could admit to me when he needed to ask another agent for help or needed to look something up. Matt was able to explain to me what he needed to do in order to fix my phone and helped me understand everything He fixed my phone screen in a timely manner and stayed professional the whole time. I would definitely use Geek Squad again!

Jim: Trying too get my phone fixed through geek squad. I call them to set up an appointment .the phone operator tells me to call 1-800-geeksquad or the store. Called the geek 4 times and got hung up on all 4 times after waiting on hold gfo 15 min race. Try one last time, on hold for 19 min with geek squad when someone answers oysi the same operator italkeI to the first time. She then tells me she can set the appointment up for me. Why she couldn't have don't this the first time instead of wasting my time for an hour. This poor customer service is why I stay away from Best buy. Everything is always a Hassel and expensive. I will post more after my appointment.

They messed up car seat heater switch and claimed that it was an issue even before getting there. The geek squad guy made a note on the documentation provided to me but did not mention anything about it. I realized before leaving the place and when questioned he claimed it was there already. He suggested to file a claim if I want to . So , I went to the front desk and complained. She told that a supervisor will be calling me on Monday but no one called yet .After coming home that day , I realized car heater doesn’t turn on when I do a remote start. So , I went today to have it checked and my appointment is next Sunday . They claim they are busy . I don’t understand why they would need a lot of time to provide crappy horrible sucking service . Then again I went to the front desk and asked for a quicker appt as the issue is clearly with the set up. The rep told that they have just one guy this week and I will have to wait . I requested him to inform his supervisor about my concern and seemingly he sent a text.Strong advice . Don’t even think of going to this place for service . They are incompetent. May be we can learn and do a better job.Update : seems like they have sold me an incompatible device . Got to know after my second appointment. Meaning they tricked me by installing the same incompatible device first time. Suckers. They just want to escape from this.

I am not tech savvy at all and from the first initial conversation to the professionalism and explaining the process to the updates I received throughout my wait period, I was so pleased.Losing all the pictures and videos from the last seven years of my young family was stressful to think about but foul savers did an amazing job in helping me with my hard drive crash and thoroughly explained every step of the way. I highly recommend calling them for your data transfer needs. David was awesome!

Deny it was them did NOT perform said standard test. No way you could have made test call. Because they broke it so no way to make ANY CALLS. Which is exactly why you gave it back to me dead so I couldnt tell right away, and shoved me out the door. If my phone doesnt et fixed, we will be taking them to court to hold them accountable. DONT TAKE ANYTHING TO THEM!!!!!!!!!

hattan arif: This is a hidden gem in Lansing, MI. Amazing store that was recommended to me by Digilink computers store in Lansing. I had a laptop that required the USB-C charging port to be replaced. They took the laptop and made free diagnostics to figure out the problem and then I received a call from them with pricing and estimated repair time. Super wonderful knowledgeable guys 10/10. I will be bringing friends and family for any future repairs. The best of the best 👍 Thank you!

Nathan Mitchell: Other places were going to charge $200+ to repair the screen on my Pixel 5a, but they checked if it was under warranty first (other places didn't bother to check) and got it replaced cost free! Also was done in a very timely manner and the employees were friendly.
Mike Lefke: Will never go back. Had a new hinge put in my Samsung Flip 4. That was the only thing wrong with it. Now I have no service. Can not call, text, or receive either. Took it back, they said their is nothing wrong with what they did. Part of their so called "tests" is to make a phone call after repairing the phone. They said they did. However, according to Verizon records, they did not. So now I have to mail the phone back to Samsung.

I called and they told me as long as I got my phone to them before 4:30 they could have my Samsung galaxy s21 screen replaced in the same day. They said it would take 2 hours to have it done. I dropped it right at 3 o’clock and got a text at 4 that my screen had already been replaced and was good to go.
Darcy S: We filed a claim thru Verizon & chose the Lansing location of UBreakIFix/Asurion. I called to confirm they had the screen in stock & they did, saying that their location isn’t offered if they don’t have the supplies, which is good to know. I was given an estimate of 1-2 hours, which worked perfectly while we were at a lacrosse tournament. I stopped for gas & no sooner had I gotten back to my seat, I got a text that it was done. 27 MINUTES!! It was amazing! We went straight back, still between games, and picked it up. It works as it should, recognizing touch, able to type, etc. They were incredible! This is the second time I’ve used them, and both times got great, quality, fast service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jay Jones: Paid almost $100 a to have my PlayStation 4 professionally cleaned and there was still dust and debris and the controller ports, as well as dust on the outside of the consoles ventilation holes. I was amazed at the lack of care to make it look like a professional job after I was told it would be a thorough cleaning in comparison to the $50 cleaning. The turnaround was significantly faster than they told me, which I appreciated, but it definitely shows the job was rushed when they could have simply taken a cloth and wiped down the outside to make sure there wasn't any dust left on PlayStation.

Steve Burtis: Contacted Gary reference bathroom vent fan parts. Apparently I interrupted Gary's day and he was in no mood to answer questions about the parts I needed. If I remember correctly his response was "Listen! I'm not going to sit here and explain to you what needs to be done." I assumed I was talking to an hourly employee who didn't care about what a customer thought of the company. I asked if he was the owner and he said he was. I told him he must be doing well and didn't need my business. He had no response so I ended the conversation. Never calling him again.

Thank you Gary I was able to replace two bathroom exhaust fan motors in less than two hours and have them back in operational condition!!! Can't find that kind of assistance any more, everyone just wants to replace everything that costs much more !
Fairy Wings: I needed a part for a fifty year old doorbell. gary's had it. he bought three boxcars of old nutone stock that broan was going to scrap. from what i learned about the demand for this stuff versus the supply, it would seem that if he would advertise better those three boxcars of stuff would evaporate in about ten minutes.
John Grabowski: I needed a replacement motor for a Nutone 663L bath fan/light. Nutone does not stock this particular motor. They referred me to Gary's Electric in Lansing, Michigan. Gary answered the phone. We had a nice chat and he said that he would ship the motor out tomorrow. It was a very nice customer experience.
