Marie Jane: I've been calling here for the past THREE DAYS trying to schedule an appointment, I've been waiting for 30 minutes or more each day for anyone to answer the phone and no one ever does. There needs to be a message leaving system this is beyond insane for a scheduling department, I'm not trying to go to urgent care then be referred back to see my doctor who I can't even SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT WITH!!!
mary daniels: This place shouldn’t EVEN be in business. It is a total joke. THEY DONT ANSWER THE PHONE. RUDE STAFF. My senior mother has been going here for years with nothing but problems. She was recently in hospital over weekend, told to follow up with her physician. They refused to see her for followup. They’re ‘too busy, no place to put her’. On hold for 30 minutes, then someone picked up & disconnected without speaking. We are finding a new doctor.
John C: Dr. Handro is my physician at MMP. I have had lifelong medical issues and have seen many physicians in my 67 years. Dr. Hando is the best physician I've seen in all those years. I trust his medical care and advice and I feel he genuinely cares about me as a patient. His staff has been very helpful in the past and have gone out of their way to help when I needed it. 5 stars. Kay J DeGroot: Don't expect Dr Thomasz Stankiewicz (I was his patient for a yr) to be on time as he was late for my appointment by 28 minutes, then nurse comes in goes over med refills and pain in knee from fall. Dr Thomasz comes in and complains about my Refills from Cardiologist, Pain management etc Dr's. He is the PCP but refuses to give refills! Don't go to him! He then complained that he had to sit by his wife at home and review my meds as to why I need them! Then told me to go back to his old PA and walked out. No help and USELESS DR!
Mindy Hodges: Everytime I come here my doctor is 60+ minutes behind and I have to walk out, I have a job. If I make my appointment and it is at 9:30, I should be going back to see the doctor at 9:30. This is very unprofessional, here I set time and money to the side to see a doctor for my medical problems and they can't even keep to their word. Do not come here if you don't want to wait.
Jackie Garcia: 8/01/22-referred by primary to Dr. Carella, endocrinologist. Scheduled new patient appointment for early December 2022. Office called in November 2022 to reschedule as that was the week Dr. was going to take for Christmas break, rescheduled for February 9, 2023. Received call November 29th, 2022 to reschedule AGAIN due to Dr. not being in the office, earliest appointment April 5, 2023.I understand there are not many endocrinologists in the area and they are in high demand but it does not appear they take their patient's time into consideration. Add that the office doesn't have a cancellation list to possibly get in sooner, I decided to cancel the April 5, 2023 appointment. NINE MONTHS for an appointment, NO ONE is THAT good! I feel for the office staff for having to deal with this instability and inconsistency in the office.
Erin carlson: The staff is rude. The ladies at the desk make no effort to find you a appointment when you call and they are rude. Dr. Isacas was useless. When tell us one think then tell my I’ll family member something else she gets didn’t have to be the bad guy, then he retired. When he retired Dr.Bakus took over. She is a awful physician with no intention of helping people. Her personality can only be compared to that of Regina George from the movie mean girls. And that was a description from one of her own staff. She is not helpful or knowledgeable when it comes to chronic illness. She does not have and help to improve quality of life. She would give a referral for help unless you know exactly what you need. You might as well be your own doctor. I don’t recommend this office to anyone . You better know what you need as far as health cause of you don’t they won’t !
Sandra Finley: I found out that my DR. DID NOT look at my daily BP or sugar readings, that every single script written had to be called about. That test results were ignored. When I complained was told to find another Dr. So I did.

Mac Dickinson: Central Scheduling will confirm one date and schedule you for a completely different day. Was confirmed for the 5th, show up at 7:00am and am told the appointment is for the 19th when I am out of town... Terrible.
Carmen Gauna: I definitely do not recommend this drs office. I waited 6 months for an appointment only for them to call and cancel 2 hours before I needed to arrive. I rescheduled for another month out and I received another notice that my appointment was cancelled SAME DAY as my actual appointment. No other appointments available until November. Both times the receptionist was rude to me, telling me they called and left voicemails, which I have no record of. 0/10 don’t recommend.
Samantha Snell: I just got a call today saying I have labs I need done before going to my Dr. Appointment tomorrow that was supposed to be done a week ago. I had called last Monday and they told me the orders hadn't even been put it and they would call me later that day to let me know it was good... over a week later and the day before my appointment they finally call saying I Need to make sure I have those labs done before my appointment. Seems like the service is a common complaint at this practice 🤔
C M: In order to get a doctor's appointment I have to drive from Ovid, MI just make an appointment because no one answers the phone when you call in to make an appointment. I have been on hold for over thirty minutes once and it went dead or I was cut-off and had to call back. Now I have to spend at least $10 in gas to drive round-trip to make any appointments.
gail Light: Individually, staff are usually fine but the patient communication system doesn't work. You call and it rings and rings (sometimes busy signal) and you hold for a long time. No way to leave a message. Who organized this method of communications? It isn't working. Maybe not enough staff?
Sri Munaroh: I cannot speak for the rest of the practice, but I would recommend against seeing Dr. Faruqi. She was not attentive to any of my questions and also administered the worst pelvic exam I have ever experienced. Also beware of billing--call your insurance to make sure tests ordered are actually covered.

Sheryl . Stephens: On arrival, location closed the Lab, and sent us to EAST LANSING/Hannah Blvd. That location DOES NOT EXIST. 😡😡😡. Ended up on Jolly Rd, which is as far away from being convenient as it could be. Update your info, people!!! Driving all over hell looking for an open lab is not a good thing when you have already been fasting for 12 hours!!!
Sara Johnson: They never answer their phone, the drs are fine but the receptionists never want to do their jobs, I can be on hold to make an appointment for upwards of an hour and that’s when I call first thing in the morning. I’ll be taking myself somewhere else that actually wants to answer the phone.

Kathy Snyder: Dr Harvey has saved my life on many occasions. He has always been there when I've needed him. He is a godly righteous man. He will pray with you and for you. He comes up with alternative remedies that have healed me almost instantly real cutting edge techniques that have shocked my friends. Like wow. He keeps his education up. With so many crazy ideas going around you need someone who is in the know. I definitely trust this man with my life.
Paula Limburg: Our family has been with Dr. Harvey since he began to practice in Lansing, and he has truly been a family doctor in the best sense to us and to our children, and even to their families. Dr. Harvey has always listened to our medical ailments with respect. He doesn’t rush, and he puts together an accurate picture of his patients by bringing together their past with their current medical needs. He includes a wide variety of information in making his diagnoses. Mainly we appreciate Dr. Harvey as a fine friend to whom we turn with confidence whenever we are in need. John Henry: I’ve been a patient of Dr. Harvey for many years, and recently joined him as he moved to his new practice affiliated with MDVIP. While Dr. Harvey has always been great, he now has much more time to spend with me, and I can always get an appointment the same, or the following day. Some may be curious about this and for me, it’s been a great experience.
Brad Hoopingarner: Dr Harvey is the best. Very genuine and knowledge about all aspects of patient care. The best part is that he takes the time to listen that so often is missed. I really like the fact that he teaches neurofeedback has well.

Marie Schaefer: The doctors are great but I'll be switching to a new primary care doctor because of two main systemic issues:1) It takes a minimum of 30 minutes to get through to the office. Quite a few times I've had to wait an hour just to talk to someone for normal doctor office procedures like scheduling an appointment.2) The billing system needs to be sorted out. I pay my copay right after an appointment in the office and then I receive a bill in the mail for the copay. Then I have to call to make sure that my original payment has actually been processed and I have to wait again a minimum of 30 mins to talk to someone. (The online system shows it has been processed but that's not always accurate either.) This is just a waste of everyone's time.
David Jr: I have Been going here for 10 plus years now. I have liked all of my doctors. I usually get a new one every few years. It’s just the way the clinic is. I am surprised buy some of these reviews. Since I have never had issues , on the contrary, the last time I went in I feel like they did an excellent job. I love that you can get your blood work done in the same building. ( although they moved so I’m not sure if it is still the same now). I had back issues and they had a specialist on site. Muscle manipulation or something (similar to what a chiropractor does). I was feeling depressed one time I went in and they had a therapist on site. They asked if I wanted to talk to her , which I did for 30 mins. I’ve never had any issues with any staff members , they have all been nice and professional.It is a clinic that accepts Medicaid , so at times they are busy. Every industry has been short staff the last few years because of Covid. I am sure the employees that do work there are over worked. We are all human and we all make mistakes. The people who left one star reviews, keep this in mind.I just want all of the employees there to know how much I appreciate their hard work ! Hopefully soon , people will get back to work and we can return to some sense of normal.

Leona Payno: I noticed from the reviews that I am not the only one who has issues with prescription refills. I asked for a refill due to the pharmacy not being able to refill with their automated system! I had 1 pill left for my thyroid medication and Dr. Jacob Monestersky wouldn’t refill until I got blood work done! He could’ve at least given me enough until my results came back but he refused and I never got a call back! I’m going to look for a Doctor who actually cares for their patients!
Laura Downing: I wasn't going to leave a review but I can't stand what just happened to me. Communication within the staff is horrible and my prescriptions frequently get forgotten and I don't receive call backs. If you're not on top of what you need done, you won't get told or get your medication. Just recently, I was belittled, interrupted, and criticized for not getting my refill request in on time when I called in Monday and confirmed again Thursday that the refill was good to go (hint: it wasn't after calling the pharmacy). What a horrible, horrible experience... I feel terrible for any of that physician's patients. Not going back. Canceling my future appointments. Finding a new clinic.

Aaron Holmes: I have enjoyed the best medical service ever at Mclaren. Everyone I've dealt with there is awesome. I can't imagine the extra stress they've been under this year, but you wouldn't know it from how kind and professional the whole staff is. These are great people doing great work and I couldn't be happier with the care I've received.
Olivia Malardo: I am sorry but this office used to be better about 2 years ago. Every time I call I am given a hard time about everything I need. Seems like the front deskand administrative staff always give obstacles to the point I had to do my own prior authorization for PT because they did not know how to. I actually got better help from the McLaren Physical Therapy office than I did this place. I do not understand the attitude as if they want to keep patients away. Was told there was no office manager and today there is. I hope she can turn the place around. This is very sad because Dr Young was actually very good and she deserves 5 stars but the front desk and admin staff are absolutely horrible.
Caitlyn Szmadzinski: I have been going to this office for five years and I have honestly never had an issue with the staff at any level. I'm always treated with respect and kindness. My only complaint is that I usually get attached to the physician I see and then they graduate. Which is great that they're continuing their career, but it's always just a bit of a bummer. But other than that I'm always listened to and taken seriously, which is refreshing when you hear some horror stories of what people have gone through with their health care providers. I really like this place and the staff and I feel lucky that I found them.

Magahn Dibble: My son and I were discharged from this practice because I was assaulted and suffered a traumatic Brain Injury. My health issues became tocomplex for this office to deal with so they threw me away. I highly suggest not going here, my son was not properly discharged and is still considered doctor Bach's patient in McLaren health System according to Dr Broulliettes office.

Joie Riutta: Rebecca the girl who did my vitals and got my medical history, was absolutely HORRIBLE!! She told me I would not be getting ANYmedications at my 1st appointment as well as I would be prescribe some of the medications on was already on because "they are a residency clinic". Rebecca also felt it necessary to dispute when I had My medications filled,implying I was lying about when and where I had them filled. She also told me I could not be seen at this clinic because I had seen another Mclaren Doctor recently ,that too she wanted to dispute with me. I had seen the Dr. In the emergency room and she told me that there is no way I could have. She was condescending , rude and beyond inappropriate in the way she dealt with me. I was ready to walk out before even seeing the resident. I have NEVER been treated so unprofessionally. I will not be returning to that clinic. I was at the clinic for help with a medical issue ,I was feeling poorly to begin with and to be treated like the way I was certainly needs to be addressed.

A.J. Ronan: I love it. I was just doing a home visit this morning and mobility came up. The couple I was seeing have concerns about travel overseas and limited mobility. We have made arrangements for physical therapy but I always tell my patients they have to keep moving to stay mobile. Timely subject matter.
steviethebassman: I have been with Doctor A.J. Ronan since a severe neck injury in 1999 which he saved me from surgery via OMT. A great doctor and the most genuine person as well, excellent staffing, follow up. Now with MDVIP much more accessible as well, comprehensive and meaningful referrals for surgical or other procedures as needed with a realm of his contemporary local experts. So thankful for his help with all my health needs. He is the best in my opinion.

I have been with Dr Ronan ever since I got hurt at work 20 years ago and he has given me the best of care and I trust him with my life. Ida Ragatz: Dr. Arthur (AJ) Ronan has been a blessing inmanaging my personal health care and health maintenance! My former PCP referred me to him, for OMT, back in 2011. When my former PCP told me I was maxed out on a med for cholesterol, I consulted with Dr. Ronan. He helped me manage my cholesterol and Diabetes more effectively than my former PCP. I’ve been with Dr. Ronan since 2012. He LISTENS and takes all the time I need (or he needs) to manage my health care!He and his entire staff are WONDERFUL! His office is absolutely lovely, secure and clean. He has lab services, so I don’t need to go to another facility for bloodwork! I’m grateful that I can call or text Dr. Ronan 24/7, or when I’m at our vacation home in Florida. He responds within minutes!Dr. AJ Ronan is more than my Primary Care Physician, he’s a great mentor and friend!! If there were a hundred stars he would receive that!! …Thank You, Dr. AJ Ronan!

Jake: I'm sure Dr. Gerrish is a good doc but something is up with the office schedulers. I was confirmed over the phone multiple times for a certain appt. date and I wrote it down in two places confirming with the scheduler. I was then sent a text to confirm a completely different random date with no prior notice. I was then told I had to reschedule my original date and that Dr. Gerrish doesn't schedule during my original given time. That may be, but I'm going based off what I've been told. Furthermore, there is no prior confirmation given at the time of scheduling which is not very reassuring given their track record. Basically no accountability. Frustrating when trying to depend on a certain given date for an appointment.

Aj Enojado: I do not recommend this office at all! I’ve always had bad service here, but most recently I’ve had my worst experience this week. My hand was broken Friday and I got X-rays from urgent care confirming this on Saturday. Monday I called Dr Gulick’s office to get a referral to an orthopedic specialist per urgent care’s instructions. Monday Dr Gulick’s office said they would push my referral, but when I didn’t hear anything for a couple of days I called her office back. The receptionist gave me the orthopedics office’s phone number and said I could call them and see what’s going on; not my job but I did. The orthopedic specialist had me scheduled for over a month away and stated that my Dr’s office referred me for “pain in my hand”….mind you my hand is broken. The orthopedics office was shocked that I had a broken hand after only getting a referral from my Dr for “pain in my hand”; but they made it clear that I needed my X-ray to push the “urgency” of my appointment. After receiving no help from Dr Gulick’s office retrieving my X-rays, I had to drive and pick up my X-ray from urgent care myself (which was the Dr’s office job) and take them to the orthopedics office to get seen in a timely manner after braking my hand a week ago.
C Garrett: The office staff will not answer or return phone calls. When I did get a hold of someone they told me that Dr. Gulick couldn’t help me get my missing medication because the ER prescribed it. When I explained to Dr. Gulick I got my medication for a dog bite a week late she said she wished I would have called because she could have helped. I did. Her staff literally told me Dr. Gulick could not help. I was a new patient and this was my first experience with this office.
Afi Bashir: If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst physician that I have ever been seen by I my life. I went in in a dire situation with an extensive medical history, advising g that I was already under care of a neurologist before moving to the area. It was like talking to the chair practicing for a real Dr. As if that wasnt badenough, she expressed no concerns and only took actions that REQUESTED!!!NO professional opinion was given. No professionalism was dispalyed at the visit!! I thought maybe I'd just give a chance because maybe it was an off, everyone has them. Well, it only went down hill from there. Any specialist I was referred to it's onlybecause I requested it due to having to take charge of my care. I was then referred to providers that didnt accept my coverage. After Dr was advised by myself and the specialist office of insuranceconflict. o have yet to this day to receive another referral. I also had some test done at the label showing all my levels were very low but I was only advised of my vitamin D and was never recommended a dosage to take ornprescribed a supplement. g taken back.by the behavior of the entire staff at this office I contacted the main office. Some good that.did. I'm still waiting for the head dr to get back to me today like I was advised by the man that answered the call for the complaint. I'm still searching for outlets to report them to. If you care about your health or loved ones.SKIP RIGHT PASSTHIS 1!!!!!!
BLOOD & THUNDER: This office is not at all for my family. They failed to put in referrals after 2 phone call appointments, failed to put in prescriptions. Its been 2 months from the intial appointment to get a referral and it still hasnt been put in. Ive spoken to other doctors offices and they professionally discredit this office as a steward of the profession. Be weary when coming here, it has been a complete nightmare.
Jesse Barrington: My fiancée recommended me to Dr. Gulick and I will have to say out of the 29 years I’ve been living I haven’t encountered one single amazing doctor until I met Dr. Gulick! She actually listens, she makes sure her patients are taken care of, she’s very friendly, she’s just all around the best doctor I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! I would highly recommend Dr. Gulick office on Lake Lansing.. in Lansing, MI!!

Sarah: The front desk staff is horrible. I like Dr.Gulick, but she always seemed to be in a hurry with all of my appointments. I didn’t get the feeling that she really cared about any of my issues. I had multiple issues with scheduling, and prescriptions. Time to move on.
Chuck Snyder: Dr. Gulick spent a whole 3 mins with me. When I entered I was given papers to fill out about my family history and my current health. I was still wasn't finished filling the papers out by the time my appointment ended with the Doc . I gave the papers to the receptionist just before I left. SO the Dr Gulick never looked at the papers. I have 3 prescriptions I wanted to get refilled from another Doctor (who is not practicing any longer) I asked for a 90 day script for them so I would not have to get them filled each month. I go pick them up and she wrote two for 90 days and another for 30 day supply. I have had these same ones filled before for a 90 day supply so it isn't like they are controlled. For 110.00 at 3 mins she could have at least got the scripts correct. While I was at the office there was no one else in the lobby so there was no reason to have her hurry. She didn't asked nothing about family history or anything. If I could give them 1/4 star I would. Save your money and go some place else. The worst Dr office and Doctor I have ever been to. What a scam

Nancy Schaffert: My parents go to Dr. Gaumer. I attend their appointments with them. She is incredibly caring and extremely thorough. My parents and I are so pleased that we found her. I would highly recommend Dr. Gaumer.
Eileen Rudrik: Dr. Gaumer is a Geriatric physician at the Senior Health Center. She took care of my 91 year old mother for at least 9 years. Mom suffered with dementia. Eventually, Mom couldn't get to her office, so she came to see Mom at her apartment. Dr. Gaumer helped my brother and I understand what was going to happen to Mom as her dementia progressed. Eventually, Mom was under hospice care and Dr. Gaumer remained her physician. Mom had a stroke and she wasn't going to survive. My brother and I continued to take care of Mom in her apartment. We did not leave her after she had the stroke. Dr. Gaumer came to Mom's apartment without us asking her to come. She suggested we get her to Eaton Community Palliative Care (ECPC). Mom was there for a day and a half before she died. We were able to just be with Mom while ECPC took care of her. If you don't live in Lansing, she is worth the drive. I can't say enough good things about her. She is an excellent doctor. Any senior who gets Dr. Gaumer as their doctor is very fortunate.

Ruby Adams: Dr. Roth has been my doctor for over 22 years. He is the best. He always makes sure I am taken care of. From when I was pregnant to now in my late 40's He has been there for me through a lot. He is so kind, funny and helps me to understand everything when it comes to my health issues. I really like his nurse and office manager too, they are terrific women.
Linda Roose: A very good Doctor that listens to his patients, I totally recommend him. I had him as my Dr. Years ago, came back from Florida and they took me right in unfortunately I moved to In.I miss him already. They take Medicaid too.

Janise Curtis: Dr. Roth has been my primary doctor for 35 yrs. he actually delivered my 1st. born back in the early 80's & I've been with him every sense. He has been a wonderful doctor all these yrs. He's very easy to talk with, works with you to get the best outcome he can for your health issue, explains everything & all treatment plans out. His office is in a great location too, it's nice and clean & his staff is always cheerful & polite every time I go there. Dr. Roth has the time to talk with you about your health concerns & listens to what concerns you have. He's not like most doctors today that rush you in & out in 2 mins. I have rarely ever had to wait more than 5 mins to be seen. I would & have recommend him to anyone & everyone looking for a caring primary doctor
