Soldan Dog Park (membership required): what do users think?
nader soltani: It's really good
Ricky Longacre: Beautiful I love this park in all seasons.
Gwen Henry: Nature is wonderful
Rebecca Smith: I love to walk the dogs down by the lake and back to my car. I always carry doggy bags to pick up after my puppy potties....🐕 🐶Playground: In the summer the kids have a splash sort of thing to run through with lots of nice water. Plus swings and a fort.Dog-friendliness: Keep your dogs on leash on the trail.Picnic area: Places to eat and picnic tables. You can see the lake and the Beach ⛱️.
Melynda Christle: Rebel has a blast
Michelle Spooner: I like this dog park, however, owners of other dogs know that their dog will show aggression but will still bring their dog to the park. It is unfortunate to see dogs fight due to lack of responsibility from the owner. My dog has not been in a fight but I've had 2 experiences with other dogs that are too aggressive towards my dog so I take my dog away and if their dog continues to follow us I will inform the owner to get their dog away from us and we will go to the other side of the park to avoid them. Serious lack of responsibility/training from owners.
Nicholas Grinage: Beautiful and relaxing
Michael Mekhayel: Nicest dog park around, especially if your dog loves to swimPublic restrooms: Yes Off-leash dog area: Yes Picnic tables: Yes …More
Melynda Christle-Parker: My dog has fun
Tina Nelson: Playground: Yes Public restrooms: Yes Picnic tables: Yes Barbecue grills: YesMore
Marissa Sawdon: Super fun ,scenic and relaxing. Downside lack of lighting and bugs.
Michael Erdman: For the price of membership… This place is a joke…For starters, the dog bags are usually empty, or full of trash. The grounds are hardly maintained, and covered in mud! If we are going to pay for a yearly membership, you’d think that the place would do a “little bit more” to show the public that they care about their services being met with a regard to the consumer.I don’t know what happened since pre-covid, but they did the job right back then! We haven’t bought a membership in two years, then we go back and see it in even worse shape.Such a disappointment…
Nancie Gwatkin: Love ❤ Hawk Island
M P: Beware of guy with 4 huskies and woman with in tact male Dalmatian. Dogs are aggressive and owners think it’s funny and have no control of their dogs, despite having voice control of your dog being a major rule of the park. It’s to the point that other park patrons will warn you about them when they meet you.Aside from this,Good park, decently well kept but lots of broken fencing for how much it costs to come here. Getting the pass is too much of a hassle.
Elisabeth McConnell: We had to be able to get a day pass (there's a fob they give members, apparently) and I wasn't aware of that till we were there. The rest of the walkways were awesome though!!
Chris Slygh: Bow wow wow yippee yay this is the mother barking park to take your Dogg.
mandolinman58: First visit with a 5 mo old puppy. Lots of big dogs. Apparently the small dog area is closed. For the most part other dogs were curious, not aggressive. My pup and I will return often. Great place for exercise.
Jordan Bauerle: Aweful place have to pay. For everything unhelpful workers having yo pay is beyond retarted this place needs to be shut down and all employees need to be fired the lady upfront was rude and snoty to me and y girlfriend as well
Terry: Yesterday was first day at any dog park. Met alot of people that were very friendly. Great place to take your pet. Just remember to bring misquote spray. Lol
Burrell Mcgee.: Love it
Jannie Jiang: Such a nice dog park, well kept and large.

Northern Tail Dog Park: what do users think?
Island Ewert: Great place to let dogs off leash and get some funning in.
Becci Brewster: Lots of pups to play with and multiple entrances to allow easier access. We will ne back! There were no bags available (I bought my own) and there were some muddy areas but I'm sure it was just because of the date. We visits 1st week in April.
Jon Holliday: Give all passers by a vigorous wave and a dirty look👍🖕
Alex: People are stuck up..and my dog caught Guardia
Chase Pierce: Nice little park. My dog had a great time.
Kristina Waller: Solid dog park that doesn't require a membership. Closed during the winter so that is too bad.
Janet Marchie: Wish they had another entrance to the small dog yard. My dogs didn’t like some of the big dogs bothering them when we had to walk through the big dog yard to get to the small dog yard. Once we got in there it was just the right size for them to explore and play.
Susan Geci: Lovely park for big and small dogs.
Matt Mansfield: Overall a decent park & option if you need a place to let your dog run. A couple of things that take off stars. 1. No restriction on dogs allowed. There were several dogs that are way too young to be there. This is stressful because they were getting run over by larger dogs & they were not old enough for all vaccinations 2. No access to water 3. This may seem strange, but it seemed a bit clique-y, like there were people who thought they were "running it". I'm sure they were trying to be helpful, but it seemed like being the new kid on the first day of school & not that welcoming.
Alex Shapardanis: This park is a great place except for two things: 1) No water pump or fountain, and 2) It closes in the winter. Why does it have to close in the winter? Some dogs LOVE playing in the snow, especially huskies, etc. but they find themselves in a state where snow only happens for a few months a year. They would LOVE to play here in the winter! (my animal companions don't have thick coats, but still...)Every other dog park I have been to have fountains or water pumps (well water) and the WATER park (repeat: water. park.) is so close to the dog park, you would think there would be an easy way to get city water to the dog park. The pups are always thirsty and we "owners" can't seem to bring enough H2O!I know this park is relatively new and I applaud the city council for creating it in the first place. I have noticed over the months that new sections have been added for smaller animal companions, which is a good idea.I also think that funding the beautiful dog park, where families, including non-human members of the family, can safely exercise and enjoy the outdoors during COVID, soak up vitamin D, and be a part of the community is a MUCH BETTER WAY TO SPEND OUR TAX DOLLARS than a deer cull - killing deer not because they cause accidents or harm any other life, but because they eat the flower beds of the wealthiest in the city.It is a shame that would even be considered over something like a beneficial community project like this one.Thank you!
Sara Wells: My dogs love playing here. However, it does not tell you online that they are closed for winter. Instead there's just a signal that greets you at the gate telling you so. The online hours need to be updated for the people for drive more than just a few minutes to that park.
Tamerlyn Doran: No water available, patchy grass, muddy, several agressive dog & owner encounters
BCSpikeFM (Zalti): Empty, no water fountain, no playground structure. Just a field and a small isolated area. Bags are provided, which is good.
Shawn Sorrow: Nice enough dog park. Plenty of room to let your dogs run and play. There is open, grassy area as well as shaded, dirt areas for the dogs to beat the heat.Be ready to deal with unpleasant people however. One owner, with an aggressive Doberman. He was too busy telling tales to the two women there to pay attention. His Doberman nipped and growled aggressively at my Staffordshire Bull Terrier and my dog responded. There was no teeth or biting from my dog, but she snarled back. The two dogs went towards each other, I ran over to get my dog, and this granola fed hippy with the Doberman ran in front of me, grabbed his dog and proceeded to kick my dog. He literally kicked my dog. Then tried to blame me my dog and tell me to leave and don't come back.I'm wondering if this is the same doberman from a different review here from 2 months ago.....
Sam Cassisi (MissImmortal): Its a great park but it is a free park so sometimes you get bad dog owners. I've never seen a fight break out but we have left a few times when a growlie dog is around.
Keith Evans: We had a pretty great time there was a lot of people very nice and a lot of very nice dogs and then one guy comes with an aggressive dog and one of the other guys starts telling him why does he always come here with his aggressive dog because his aggressive dog always attacks other dogs and there's nearly a fist fight one that I was prepared to help with if it got started. I hope the aggressive guy and his aggressive dog stay home in the future.
Randy F: Enter at your own risk of course. Only 1 incident of a crazy Doberman being aggressive. Good time otherwise. Always bring some water for the others. Monday is the busiest I’d say.
Mychal Shaw: Like many things in life, there are ways that this park could improve but that doesn't mean that it isn't a great park! I used to take my dog here multiple times weekly but over the years we have stopped going. Went back for the first time in a couple years today and it was excellent! We will definitely be going back soon.
Rebecca Hill (Beckles): Excellent park for the pups and a great way to see people in a socially distant, safe way. This park is my happy place. 🙂
Joy Ehrheart: Nice big and free dog park.Owners that know their dogs are too aggressive should not bother corrupting all the play.
Kim Bouma: It's ok super dirty for a dog park
