Off Leash K9 Training Lansing: what do users think?
Jessica Nason: We have a 1 year old lab who was very terrified of strangers and very protective of our home and children. He had a habit of running through his boundary line and barking at the neighbors which was less than great. We wanted him to be the kind of pup we could take with us out in public and to kids out door sporting events.(insert off leash and the fabulous Ashlind) He is an entirely different puppy! He comes when told, lays down or sits until we tell him he can move, most of all he doesn’t bark when people come by! He went to baseball practice for the first time placed on the bench and just watched his little human play. In the beginning we were worried his behavior was stuck in a bad way and Ashlind was honest and communicative the entire time. In the end he exceeded our expectations. She loved him like he was hers and always updated us on pros and cons of how things were going. We look forward to working with her again very soon. She is truly one of the best and so kind and loving to every animal she helps. You can see this is her passion and she knocks it out of the park!
Paige Pualani Gabel: Ashlind was absolutely the best with our dogs Duke & Lily. They came back with such good manners, but most importantly they were loved during their two week “boot camp” with her! We look forward to many years of good dogs thanks to Ashlind & Off Leash!
Allison Olexa: I was super anxious and hesitant to leave our puppy with a stranger, but Ashlind was the perfect person to leave her with to train! She is open, trustworthy and She did a great job training our dog new commands. I feel like we are in a great spot to continue with the training from here with our new well behaved dog. Would definitely recommend!!Edit after first week: our dog is doing incredible heal (walking on leash) she doesn’t miss a beat, walks perfectly in line with us, adjusts her speed to keep up with us. She’s doing absolutely fantastic. Her separation anxiety has also gotten much better since before the training.
Alex Kellogg: Ashlind from off leash was absolutely amazing! She trained my dog perfectly. She was very direct with her procedures on how she does her training and kept me informed for the whole time she had my dog. Ashlind would not sugarcoat anything. If my dog was having a stressful day and was not responding as she had hoped, she would let me know. She would also let me know when my dog was having a fantastic day and would send videos to me of all those moments. I would recommend her and this company to anybody and everybody. It is certainly worth every penny.
Steven Sanderson: Enrolled my 2 yr old rescued GSD I have been struggling with in their 2 week board and train program. Brittany did a great job laying a foundation for a well trained dog, And I hope to continue his improvement with their addition help if needed.
Tiffany Thompson: Incredibly happy with our experience and training at off leash K9 in lansing! Our 2.5 yr old chocolate lab spent 2 weeks at the board and train with Ashlind! He returned a completely different dog! It’s now a joy to take him out in public. Here he is at Home Depot! Wish I had done the training sooner. Ashlind was wonderful, sent video updates every day sharing his progress. She took the time to explain everything and answer questions! Highly recommend!
roxanne taylor: I paid for board and train and only received basic obedience on leash. Dog was returned in poor health had to take to vet!
Kris Gladstone: I brought my dog in as I needed help training her and the whole experience was AMAZING!! I was sent daily videos of my puppy's progress and when I got her back the change was awesome. Still the same playful furbaby but the foundation of behavior laid has been the best thing that could happen for the both of us. Highly, highly, highly recommend.
Jennifer Radatz: This was a life changer for my dogs. I have a 7 month old German shepherd and 4 year old golden retriever. I enrolled them in the board and train classes and let me say wow!!! They are taught multiple commands including literally off the leash training. My dogs are now able to walk without pulling on a leash, do not react to extra stimulus, and are trained to heel, sit, lay, or place on command. Brittany then took the time to train both my boyfriend, my children, and myself on each command, making sure we not only understood the commands but are able to perform the commands appropriately. She took the time to answer questions and addressed all of our concerns. Thanks Off The Leash!!!
Sandi Reynolds: When my dog went to camp she would not listen to a thing I told her. Now she can go outside without being tied up and while at work she is able to listen to commands and hold until told otherwise.
Amanda Robinson: Ashlind is a ROCKSTAR! I took my dog poppy (18mo mini bernedoodle) to the board and train and I am astonished with the results. Poppy is not aggressive but extremely reactive. My concerns were getting her a solid recall, minimizing dog reactivity, and leash manners. She has all of these skills now. I was really worried about poppy losing her spunky personality or not being able to be a dog after intense training, but Ashlind made training rigorous but fun for her, so poppy is still poppy. Be warned that you need to put in hard work after your dog comes home or else they lose all of their training. It took a second for poppy to respect and listen to me but she is perfect now after a week of being home. I can’t wait to continue training with her and enjoying a lifetime of fun with my dog.
cedez alvarezz: Our 2 yr old Siberian Husky, Oakley just finished his 2 week board & training program with Brittany! My Fiancé & I are so amazed with the results, absolutely life changing! Brittany was an amazing trainer! She went above & beyond, we couldn’t be happier. We had an amazing experience with Off Leash K9 & would %100 recommend to anyone.
Christine Kivlen: We had a phenomenal experience with K9 off leash. Ashlind was our trainer and she couldn’t have been more amazing! Within the first 20 minutes she looked at the amount of food I brought for Sutter’s board and train and realized it was not enough food. I quickly realized I had packed 14 meals worth of food not 14 days – WHOOPS! Ashlind was so kind and just asked me to send her a picture of the label of the food Sutter eats and she ordered some more to have delivered during her board and train. Every single day we received videos with great explanations of what she was working on and a personal message. Her personal messages instantly made me feel more than comfortable that she was be taken care of as if Sutter was her own pup. In addition to all of this, Sutter’s skills were FANTASTIC. This was a dog (giant breed dog – leonberger) that has pulled me (and several others) onto the ground during walks when seeing another dog or a squirrel. Sutter has always been a sweetheart in her personality, but obedience was definitely not her strength. Now, I easily go for walks with my TWO leonbergers (200lb with of dogs) and 7 month old baby in the stroller with EASE. Sutter listens to her commands VERY well: come, sit, place, down, off (although we don’t have to use this much with her good behavior). We couldn’t be happier with our experience…. 😊
David Ford: Ashton from Off Leash K9 Training Detroit did and amazing job with training my airedale terrier. I was unable to have him off leash and it hindered our day to day activities because I had no control of him once the leash was off. After this training we are going everywhere off leash and playing fetch in new places, it really changed everything for us because I was able to become confident in having control of him even when there is no leash. It has improved my relationship with my boy by 100% because it allows him to be free and have a good time while still having to listen and follow directions. This made training fun. We highly recommend!
Valerie Randall: Our 8month old male GSD completed his 2 week Board and Train on Monday with Ashlind. Communication was perfect throughout, and she answered questions we had from her daily videos and texts. Our training began when Kaiser’s did! The daily info she sent was so helpful and impressive. It also eased my worry about him being away from me for that long! She was able to point out his reactions to distractions (ex: scooters, wheelchairs, strollers, focusing too much on other dogs) Learning the remote is still new to us and will become more natural. I have the information to retain and grow his success. Ashlind‘s support/answers to questions that have come up in these first couple of days home is very helpful. Kaiser was a source of pride for us when we went to TSC his first evening home. At our local park yesterday, we saw other dogs, bikes, lots of people, watched kids play on the playground, spent time talking to a gentleman and his adult daughter who is in a wheelchair and nonverbal - Kaiser stayed in his plotz(down) position. We even walked to the ice cream shop - very busy - he remained in the position we put him in and broke his Fuss(heel) while walking. The future looks bright! In fact, I left them a message today to discuss training with our four-year-old GSP. Highly recommend Ashlind.
Kaylin Sherman: I was at my whit's end. I love my pups as I would a child so when my pitbull pup ATE my door and flooring in my bedroom i was at a loss. My boyfriend and it both work long days and that also lead to seperation anxiety. The dog I brought back home is a completely diffrent dog (still a little ball of crazy) but she stays off the counters when I tell her to stop or " off" she listens every single time. I can not express my graditude to Britney (sorry hope I spelled that right) she gave her baths cut her nails loved her like my dog was her own. all while molding her into a good girl I can trust. She even went above and beyond when I asked if she could would have my pup around other dogs to teach her manners. My dog fell in love with her own dog shadow. It made my heart so happy to see her so loved and taken care of! Words can not describe how thankful I am!
Don Laughman: Sent email about the services. And yet to receive a response.
Presley Hieshetter: We just finished basic obedience training with our 9 month old pup, Riley, and it was amazing! Our trainer, Brittany, was incredible. She did a great job not only teaching Riley various commands but also teaching my husband and I how best to continue his training at home even if different situations arise. She worked through all his stubbornness and helped build his confidence. You can tell she has a real passion for this. We would definitely recommend this training for anyone!
rob olsen: Prince is completely transformed. He is listening and responding very well!!
Aimee Goree: I took 2 of my dogs here and Shannon turned them both into new pups! They are so well behaved now and I couldn't be happier with the results. They were so poorly behaved I was stressed out all the time and not enjoying my pets. Complete 180!
Linda VanAntwerp: Axel was only 6 months old and uncontrollable. We were referred to Off Leash K-9 training and calling them was the best thing we ever did for Axel and us.. He is now 8 months old, but a different dog because as soon as he returned home he is manageable. Ashlind was Axel's trainer and in two weeks Axel became a different dog. It was great that we received daily videos so we could see his accomplishments. While visiting different establishments, we would receive some really cute pictures of Axel. We enjoy him so much more because he minds us on command, no biting, he goes out without a leash , heels, sits, stays and it helped with housebreaking and socialization. Axel will sit on his rug and stay there until you release his command. After it was over Ashlind is still around to answer questions, Axel is much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this training even though it is a little pricy. Worth every penny. Happy clients!!

Joyful Dogs of Michigan: what do users think?
denise arnold: Joyful Dogs of Michigan has very helpful training sessions for your companion animal. Beth gives instructions clearly for your dog and then you practice at home. My dog loves going for training.
Andrea: I have a beautiful German Shepherd. He needs lots of attention and I was feeling very out of my comfort zone with his training at home. He was very protective of me and would react towards other family members. He is an alfa male and it shows. It is my 3rd visit at Joyful Dogs of Michigan and I can say my dog is now acting more like a warm cuddly pet. He has manners, listens to others in the house. Actually listens. He now knows the sit, lay, stand, shake, and come all with almost perfect obedience. Beth has taken the time to teach me so I can teach my dog. I am building a beautiful relationship with my hansom boy. He is much happier and so are we. Thank you so much Beth for all that you do!
Emily: Extremely helpful with us and our dog. He behaves much better now. The price of training is also one of the most reasonable in town. If you need help with a dog you should definitely go with her
Susan Matero: I was referred to Joyful Dogs through Bark. Please do your research before you hire Beth Licht. Her fees are exorbitant compared to other dog trainers in the area. I paid her $850 for 6 private lessons whereas other trainers charge $360. She is unorganized and inconsiderate. She didn’t send me any information or contract prior to my first visit but expected me to sign and pay within minutes of my arrival. To this day, I haven’t received a complete copy of what I signed. She canceled the second visit and said she would call me the next day to reschedule, which she never did. I had the dog for 14 days when I was regrettably forced to re-home him due to safety concerns for my 3 year old granddaughter. I had ONE visit that cost me $850!!! Beth would not consider any negotiation for a partial refund of any kind. I asked if she would kindly accept 1/2 ($425). She said the contract states NO refunds! Apparently, she doesn’t have any compassion or consideration for unfortunate situations! Just NO, NO, NO. Please shop around for a cheaper and kinder dog trainer!
David DeMarco: Beth aka Bam could be the best doggie trainer on the planet. She is a total pro & trined my pot cake dog to let me potty her perfect within twenty minutes. Call her & your worries are gone. Love this woman & my wife will back it up too
Catherine Boomer: EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE!I could not be more pleased with my experience. Beth did an exceptional job working with my dog, Grover. He's a very intelligent Golden Retriever who needs direction and boundaries. It's been a rough year for both of us. I underwent treatment for breast cancer and he had bilateral elbow surgery. Once he recovered from surgery, I just didn't have the energy to work with him. I sent Grove to live with Beth for a 2 week board & train. She kept in close contact with me about his progress and his happiness. Having him stay in her home made me feel confident he was getting lots of love and attention. After 'camp' Grove has a good grasp of the necessary commands and I continue to work on refining his obedience. I highly recommend Joyful Dogs of Michigan!
Katie Sutherland: Although, I have never personally used this business, we are adopting a puppy in the near future and was looking for trainers in the area. After seeing the way the Owner, Beth, was communicating with community members on Facebook, we will never be supporting this business. She was rude, judgmental and unforgiving. When you are a business owner, you must act professionally inside the “office” and out!Response to owner: It has nothing to do with your personal opinion. You are entitled to it. However, the way you SPEAK to people who simply have a differing opinion than yours was rude and unnecessary. Although, we will not be using you for our training needs...Congratulations on staying in business for so long.
Jeff White: Vicki and I Re- Homed 17 month old “Winter” from California last mid November 2020. He is a Wirehair Pointing Griffon male dog . We found within 1st 2 weeks he had an ear infection and did not have any foundation training , or obedience training . He growled at the vet trying to help him and had to muzzle him - they said he was aggressive . Winter would not let us touch his ears either . We new we needed help and didn’t want to believe he was aggressive . In the in home interview with Beth she said it was a trust issue and told us what she wanted us to do - in that 15 minutes of following her direction she ask me now to put drops in his ears - WOW - Winter had no issue with drops. We hired Beth on the spot - where do we sign ! We now refer to Beth as the Dog Whisperer . Beth teaches us and Winter - He now allows us to clean his ears - long place stays - let’s us cut his nails - check his teeth - he downs when asked - kennels up - stays - loads up in car in kennel - we can take him to stores and allow everyone to pet him - he will sit for 5 min until called - Does his business when we tell him - doesn’t want to chase cars anymore - heals - Doesn’t pull on leash with walks - Comes when called - camps with us - he is absolutely a changed amazing Dog and loves and looks forward to working with Beth as we do ! Thank You Beth !🙌🏻🐾❤️Jeff & Vicki
Bunnie Rainsberger: Positive:Reliability,ValueWe've worked with Beth a long time. We found her to be exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable. She genuinely loved our dog and came up with many helpful tips to train our dog (and us). I would recommend her to anyone as she really goes above expectations
Alaina Aleman: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI have a 10 month old puppy (Lucy) and was having issues with her when I would take her for walks and coming to me when called. After Beth pointed out what I was doing incorrectly, Lucy was following my commands within the hour. I would highly recommend using this training facility.
Liz S: Positive:Quality,ResponsivenessWe had a wonderful experience working with Beth at Joyful Dogs of MI. Her training has done wonders to help me work with my new adopted dog. Looking forward to moving on to more advanced training with her.
Andrew Filkins: We set up an appointment with Beth about our rescue dog who is having some aggression issues. It seemed that she was surprised and offended when we showed up with his issues When I talked to her she told me that she would be the one doing the training and it was not her but her son. She stood around and told us about stuff she did with other dogs but never offered good suggestions about how to work with our dog. She posted an inappropriate Facebook post about our dog on her page. Can not say this even. I would not recommend this business. Do your research! There are other trainers out there.
Andrea Hoagland: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness
D D: Beth was an absolute joy to work with :)She had our puppy Mila learning new commands within minutes of first showing up! Every week our puppy was catching on more and more to Beth’s techniques. Now our puppy is listening and completing all the commands that she was taught !!I would highly recommend Beth to anyone who is serious about their dog and it’s training! She is top tier in my book ! Thank you Beth!!
Gary Rainsberger: Beth loves our German Shepherd and he loves her. Its great that she comes to the house. It allows her to see how he behaves in a familiar place not distracted by other people or dogs. It also gives her the opportunity to teach and correct us in how we work with him at home. She even came at a time when our grandkids could be there so she could teach them. Our dog is a handful but she is able to make him mind and show us how to do it. We definitely recommend you use Beth for training your dog.
Onyx Salon & Extension Bar: Beth is our dogs best friend....literally as soon as she walks in the door you can see Bella’s energy change instantly. There’s no way to explain the bond she has with dogs. A true professional, very knowledgeable and hilarious! She is there for you AND the dog. She makes sure every dog’s getting their needs met as well as yours. She has great problem solving solutions for “specific problem” behaviors. Works with you, family, and the dog inYOUR environment. All around wonderful! We will be back for advanced training!
AnnMarie Martinez: If I could give Beth 100 stars, it still wouldn't be good enough! She is an amazing trainer AND an amazing person! Our Yorkie Daisy loved her and learned a lot. She gave my husband and I the tools we need to continue training her with confidence. If you are having any kind of issue with your dog, young or old, Beth has a solution. Best money we have spent in a long time!
Melinda Rundell: Beth helped us with our puppy, Ella. She is 3/4 Siberian Husky and 1/4 German Shepherd. Ella was a so hyperactive that we needed professional help. Beth was very observant and experienced and she quickly made recommendations and modeled every practice in a way that we could replicate ourselves. She is down-to-earth, well spoken and kind!! My dog, Ella, loves Beth and we do too!!! Beth is worth her price and then some!!!!!🐾
Joey Shmyr: Beth came for an hour and a half session socializing my yorkie to her new pitbull roommate. Not only are my dogs doing very good together after only one session!! But we also were given a lot of valuable advice from Beth. She is a very knowledgable person who truly loves what she does. I learned so much and am so happy I found her at Joyful Dogs of Michigan! While she was there for one purpose, she went above and beyond showing us how we can train them in others ways too. I highly recommend this service. Thank you Beth!
AJ: Beth is the best. Had my puppy lined out in a few hours. Great personality and spirit
Omar Farghal (Leadha): Very helpful and nice. Did a great job helping us train our new dog!

First Class Dog Training: what do users think?
Renee Swanson: We took our Shepard and Maltese to learn how to stop the barking they do and Hector had a wealth of information for us! 1 day later we're already seeing positive results! We highly recommend First Class!! You won't regret it!
Alzada Daniels: Hector's training methods are kind and humane to the pet and the pet mom. I loved the train the trainer segment as well because my pet had behaviors that needed to be modified and so did I. The experience was beyond amazing!
Glen Koeske: Excellent obedience training for dogs.
Ashley Adrian: Hector was absolutely wonderful. We learned so much (what to do and what not to do) and saw such a huge improvement just after the first session. My brother just had his dog in training for a year with a different trainer and their styles were very different. Our dog learned much quicker, and better, with Hectors program. If you need a dog trainer in MI, there's no better choice. Highly recommend.
L DiLernia: Very much tailors training to accommodate the individual dog's personality. Very positive experience.
Penny Caudill: Hector ..was awesome .Knew his stuff was very impressed. Thanks for saving us and our dog .Very much appreciate it ..
Andrew Schunter: We had a great training session with Hector. He is very personable and out going so he he easy to talk to and have a conversation with. He makes the training very interactive and provides a lot of resource material for you to take with you. Amazing trainer and would highly recommend.
Christine Brignall: I have taken my dogs to different trainers over the years but Hector is by far the best trainer I have experienced. He is knowledgeable and provides results in a very short period of time. He takes the time to talk to you about his methods and gives you the opportunity to ask questions. He makes sure that you have a clear understanding before you leave. Besides the obedience he teaches you about the health and well being of your pet. I highly recommend First Class Dog Training for you and your dog.
Irelands world: Hector is wonderful and taught us great skills to enjoy our dogs.
Lisa Rose: Hector was not only knowledgeable and proficient, but also very kind and loving with my dog. He was quick to assess her physical and training needs while making her (and me!) feel at ease. I've worked with trainers before and appreciated their expertise. What sets Hector at a higher level is his obvious compassion for dogs and empathy for their people.
Carollynn Woodruff: We were more than pleased with HectorAnd his method of training. My dogIs a different dog today. Hector is veryKnowledgeable and compassionate withDogs. He taught us a lot too about nutrition and massage. He covers a lot!
Roy Allen: Hector knows his stuff. The class was very informative.
Margie Sancho: Informative! Learned so much. My grandchildren enjoyed the experience.
Philip Van Ee: We brought our German Shepherd puppy here. Hector did an excellent job I would recommend hom to anyone looking for a dog trainer.
Bob Delamarter: First Class Dog Training with Hector Hernandez was an awesome and rewarding experience. I have been acquainted with Hector's knowledge, ability, and skills, in canine behavior and training, for close to 40 years. I was so grateful when he was able to access some issues with I and my GSD Harley and get us on the path to a promising future. Hector, Harley and I say thanks.
Jessica Sebenick: Great class! Hector was a great teacher. He gave us lot's of helpful tips and tricks for our puppy. He also took time to get to know our puppy to help us be successful with him.
Riann Graff: I would 100% recommend Hector at First Class Dog Training to anyone who is looking. He is so personable and knowledgeable. It hasn't even been 24 hours since my one on one session with him and I am already seeing such positive results from what he taught both me and my pup!
Austin Owen: Hector is a fantastic trainer! In HOURS we were able to understand our dog's behavior and break his bad habits. 1000% worth it!
K Foster: Hector shares his incredible knowledge base on how to read your dog, how to reward your dog through positive reinforcement, and how to build the bond between you and your dog. He truly wants to build a trust and respect relationship between you and your dog!
Jessica Fox: Hector H is the real deal!!!! I had serious doubts before taking our 1 year old German Shepard into his facility, but within an hour he had our dog following our commands better than he ever has. He was also no longer acting aggressive towards him, even after we took the leash off. I highly recommend this man and honestly the session was worth every penny!!! Thank you again appreciate you!!!Richard and Jessica
Dawn Scavarda: What a positive experience! Hector took time to get to know us and our dog before beginning to train. He was very explicit on how and why he trains the way he does and walked us through step by step. Our dog understood what we expected from her and both of us have a better understanding of each other at home. Hector was enjoyable to work with and gave us several other tips and suggestions regarding health, feeding, toys, and harnesses. Definitely worth the time and money!

Click!Pawsitive Dog Training: what do users think?
Brad Sullivan: Sara and her staff are just WONDERFUL!! They have helped us tremendously with our dog Sansa, and explained some actions of dogs to us. I appreciate how patient Sara is, because I’m an “old-school” dog owner, and am learning a lot! You can teach an “old” dog new tricks!! I totally recommend Click! Pawsitive for helping to train your dog/puppy!!!!!
Barb McNeice: I took my Emmy to click pawsitive thing Emmy would learn some obedience like stay, walking on and off leash, and following other commands. This was not the case. I should have read closer the puppy essentials 1 description better. I had talked to Sara prior to signing up and she told me we would learn this. Not even close. Emmy just knew if she did something she would get a ton of treats. Sara told me she hired Katie just to work with Emmy yet Katie was there before we even started. We attended 3? Classes but one was cancelled due to weather. We did not continue with the class. Emmy learnedn nothing. I had to hire someone else to work.with us. She learned how to walk both on and off leash, stay, down and stay . It was amazing how fast she learned. At pawsitive Sara told meEmmy was too much dog for me and I should take her back to the rescue. That is not the case she is a puppy and gets excited but then calms down. I had no problem with her in the one on one class whee she learned so much in an hour and a half . I asked for a partial refund but of course Sara reiterated that there where no refunds. I thought she would in good conscience maybe refund half or a quarter of the fees. Katie was not hired to work with Emmy she was already there for the first class and had never met Emmy.If you are considering pawsitive please read the descriptions of the class you are interested in. Pawsitive may work for some dogs but any active puppies no. Telling you that she should go back to the rescue was unacceptable. Like I said the trainer I took her to worked so well with her and she learned so muchin a matter of anhour Anda half.Sara has good intentions but they weren't enough.
Lindsey Bell: I called Sara to get an appointment for my dog to start training. Today was our date she gave me on the phone. I called her about 45 minutes after the appointment should have started, because she wasn't here yet. (Homeschool Apt) My online schedule was never correct. she stated that "that is why I train dogs and not computers, it was user error". Than proceeded to tell me that my dog would need more than one training for him to be trained, I'm sorry but that was a little rude. I asked for a refund.
Alexandra Church: Sara is the best and I couldn't recommend her enough! She is a great trainer and became a friend throughout our class. She provided my fiance and I true support throughout our journey, going above and beyond what was expected, and we will continue seeing Sara for all of our dog training needs! Great prices for amazing training and service.
Gretchen Morse: We have a 13 month old puppy and have participated in Group classes, individual sessions, puppy day camp and Service Dog Essentials - highly recommend Click Pawsitive for both basic and specialized needs for our pup! He had some anxiety issues that were really problematic, and Sara was able to help us work through those. Thanks Sara, and Co.!
Candice Carrasco: Sara has been such a wonderful resource to my family and our two pups over the past two years since they joined our family. I appreciate not only the positive reinforcement training method but also Sara's kindness, compassion and support through the ups and downs of puppyhood as well as our traumatic experience of being attacked by neighborhood dog. She has worked with us to learn basic skills but also to help in the reconstruction of our confidence. Sara will forever be our go to resource for dog training!! Thank you Sara!!
Leanne Sabo: Two years ago when I decided to adopt an absolutely adorable yet resource guarding puppy Sara was there with me every step of the way to help train him and give him the tools to be successful. I love the foundation of her training, it is the cornerstone of the relationship I have with my dog (which is awesome!). You can tell that she genuinely cares for your dog, and you! I could not recommend a better training facility, I also did group classes with Sheyenne which were always very fun and engaging for me and my dog! I could not thank Sara and the other trainers enough at Click Pawsitive Training for helping to give me and River the best relationship ❤️
Harry Castle: We have had a fantastic experience with Click Pawsitive so far - our recently rescued Staffy/bulldog mix Marshall began showing a lot of reactivity in the home and on walks. We've been through two classes with Click Pawsitive now (reactive rover, click to calm 1) and are seeing so much progress with Marshall! He still struggles, but it feels like we are breaking down his anxiety and fears piece by piece. We've really been given the tools to help manage him in stressful situations and begin having stronger trust in our rescue.
Sadie Rucker: My husband, Mark, and I can’t express enough how grateful we are to Sara for her incredible training, guidance and support for our Tonio. She is simply fantastic! Tonio , our very large German Shepherd, loves her! We got Tonio as a puppy during Covid which meant he really needed socialization. He also had separation anxiety and very sharp puppy teeth( he didn’t like to be held) At 4 months after he had received all his shots, we tried Day Care thinking that would help his socialization. He didn’t get along with dogs at all. We were desperate! Our wonderful Vet recommended Sara. After a frantic call to Sara, she responded. What a godsend! She visited with us and evaluated him honestly. She said he had many anxieties but that she could work with him so we made a plan. We continued the plan when we went back to work and when she sent us a photo of Tonio playing with her dog, we celebrated..and were very emotional! Tonio now loves people and continues to love playing with dogs. He was able to take one of the classes at the center, which was a big deal for him and his anxieties. He completed the tasks and enjoyed working with the trainer. Because of her years of experience as a trainer, she is aware of the difficulties some dogs have being with other dogs and works very hard to make it a PAWSITIVE experience. We can’t praise Sara enough, her training methods and opportunities that she provides our Tonio and other dogs no matter where they are in their development. Run don’t Walk to Sara and her Click! Pawsitive Classes!
stephanie james: I highly recommend Pawsitive Dog Training. I personally had Sara come to our home and train us and our puppy. Our dog Rudolph benefited so much from the Puppy Start Right class. All the basic tools to move forward with more training if needed. It helped us out so much. Especially, with a immune suppressed puppy who couldn't be around other dogs at the time. Sara was a wonderful trainer and meet all our needs.
Rebecca Wildenthal: Sara has been instrumental in helping our puppy develop good social behaviors. The convenience of home visit training has been great. Looking forward to continued skill development. We are now over two years with Sara and Click!Pawsitive Dog Training and Moose is in love! We get many compliments on how well behaved he is, and most importantly he has developed into a very sweet house doggy that is good with our elderly family member and the youngest. He even loves his cat...The gentle encouragement he receives during his sessions is helping him overcome his anxieties over strange places and surfaces. Sara has gone over and above in finding creative methods to address his various behaviors. Thank you Sara!
Phillip Dahlhofer: This morning my husky found my wife's wool hat and when I asked my pooch to give it to me she did. This doesn't sound like a big deal but for us it was huge and we have Click Pawsitive training to thank! The method taught is teaching your dog to want to be a "good" dog. It takes work but it is worth it to have a happy and confident companion!
Rob Culver: Sara is a wonderful trainer!
Amanda Stitt: Positive:Professionalism,Responsiveness,ValueSara’s training helped us get through the biggest challenges of puppyhood. Her training and advice helped us go from having an out of control puppy to an 8 month old dog we really love to have in our family with two young kids. Highly recommend Sara!
Kris Parnell: Sara is an excellent teacher and really seems to understand dogs. Her instructions are easy to follow, she’s very patient with people and their pets and her classes are held in a nice big facility at okemos daycare. I have taken 2 classes with her (1st puppy class and her tricks class) and I have also done private lessons in between these 2 classes. I highly recommend her.
Lili Gloe: We did one-on-one training consultation earlier this last month for our 1.5 year old dog who was having trouble walking on leash without getting distracted. We had a great experience- she was able to teach us some techniques within the two hour-long sessions that have helped us and our dog so much! Daily walks have become enjoyable instead of a source of stress. Sara was generous with her time and advice and was able to provide good insight into our dog’s behaviors and ways to help her succeed. Definitely worth the time and money.
Katie Newby: I am a disabled service dog handler & have utilized the training services of Click!Pawsitive Dog Training owner, Sara Alguire. Sara is an absolutely incredible dog trainer. She runs wonderful training groups and also offers convenient personal training sessions. Sara is a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CPT), which essentially means that she is credentialed by the foremost academy of force-free positive reinforcement training. This accreditation is reserved for the best of the best in the dog training arena. If a trainer is effective in training a dog to service dog standard (and understanding ADA law and task training requirements) it is fair to say that they can handle any pet dog that comes their way. Sara is the trainer I chose after contacting upwards of 10 other local trainers, and I do not hesitate to recommend her to any service dog team or pet dog owner in a 50 mile radius of Haslett, Michigan.
The McCollums: I can't say enough great things about Sara!! She took my hysterical phone call on a Saturday, not knowing me, and stayed on the phone for almost an hour calming me down after my rescue dog bit my friend. :( I was worried that we wouldn't be able to keep him...she came to our house to help us help him and he is a completely different dog! Charlie has grown so much with her help and so have we. She gave us the tools to train him and know the warning signs when he is anxious. We LOVE her for helping us turn him around! Thanks for everything!!
Arica Smith: We love Sara! We decided to adopt 2 puppies and our boy Bodie was so anxious/reactive and we knew we needed help. We took them both through the first obedience class and loved it. They both did great and Sara is a puppy training wizard. She was so patient with us and the puppies. So, we decided to splurge and go for the one on one training to address Bodie’s specific reactive behaviors and it was soo worth it! He has made such great progress with the training and other tips Sara showed us. We feel so much more confident and positive that we have the tools to help him be a calm happy boy...and we can easily use what we learned to work with our other fur children. She went out of her way to work with our schedule and even helped us with questions we asked her on a weekend. Bodie loved seeing Sara and we will miss our weekly training sessions with her!
Nicole Mahmood: Sarah did great with my boxer/bulldog mix. She is always hesitant towards strangers, but warmed up to Sarah and was always very excited when time for our sessions would come. We had private training sessions so she came right to my apartment and provided a clicker and treat bag, as well as weekly using her own treats for training. I enlisted Sarah's help in dealing with my dog's reactivity towards other dogs, and through our training sessions she is finally on the road to being calm when in the presence of other dogs. She was also considerate of my varying schedule as a college student, and made this aspect a lot easier on me as well. I would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone that is looking for help with reactivity issues.
Jay Sarkar: Sara was fantastic to work with. My two year old English Springer was a little too energetic and jumpy but after 4 sessions with Sara we have turned her into quite the obedient dog. I had private training done so Sara came right to my home, worked for about an hour each week and provided me with necessary equipment. (clicker, treat pouch) I would recommend her to anyone that is looking for have their furry friend learn a few lessons in a warm and welcoming manner.

AnnaBelle's Canine Station: what do users think?
Debbie Cushing: We took both of our boys in for grooming and nail clipping. They were done in an hour and both are fluffy and soft after a week. Their nails are fantastic! We will be back.
Courtney Wargo: So kind to my elderly dog. They always do exactly what I ask for. Friendly and caring staff.
Nicolas Soria: I've taken my pomeranian here several times for grooming. She always comes back well cut and in good spirits. Sometimes there can be a wait as they only have one person at the reception counter who might have to go back and check if a dog is ready.I've gone here for training courses, which went well. However, the classes are not the easiest to get into. I wish there was a wait list or something but you just gotta keep checking when classes start and call to get a spot.
Russ Schultz: Took dog lessens there.
Becky Brown: AnnaBelle’s always takes great care of my pup. From grooming to supplies to training they are our one stop shop!
LORI RATHBUN: The staff is very friendly and loves my dogs. KANDICE does a fantastic job on my cavalier.
Wisdom Oly: They took great care of my standard poodle, giving her a stress free grooming and lots of love.
Sandra Morey: AnnaBelle's staff was very friendly and professional! Rusty got a great haircut!Sandy and Peggy ❤️
Nicole Davis: Absolutely will be returning our fur baby was so nervous but the staff was friendly and new how to help her calm. I highly recommend your fur baby will be appreciative!
Kelsie Troub: This was my first time at Annabelle's. I've been looking for a nice place to have my furbabies groomed. Natalie was great with my furbaby, Abby, from the start. Made me feel comfortable leaving her there. Natalie did a terrific job grooming Abby. She looked so cute. Will definitely be back.
Corinne Akers: We’ve worked with multiple trainers and had nothing but positive experiences!
Sandra Masarik: I took my little Toy Poodle Frankie to AnnaBelle's for grooming. They did a super job and Frankie looks great!
Jessica Krueger: Our pups Nala and Clara-Belle love AnnaBelle’s and trust the staff! Thank you for taking good care of our girls!!
Cheryl Boros: Great job with grooming and training
John Nevin: My pack loves Annabelle's! Carol Hein-Creger is truly a magical dog whisperer. But more importantly she explains everything in terms you can understand. She gives you the dog's perspective and that makes her method so sensible. The facility is way nicer than the old one - bright, clean, tall ceilings.
nancy mabbitt: This was the first time Bella was groomed today. The groomer did a great job on Bella. I will be using her again. I also hope to have Bella get involved with the training classes and daycare that Annabelle 'sPet Station provides. Thank you for making Bella look so beautiful. 💗
Tiffanie Platz: Love Annabelles! Highly recommended to everyone. My German shepherd loves it here. Groomed and nails done. Great price and fast. :) I will be back.
Rhoda Wolff: Kandice was so wonderful with our rescued Golden-doodle, Oliver, that even though he is anxious and terrified about almost everything, he still gave her a kiss when she was bathing him. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we get our scared pup used to being groomed!
Eric Alstrom: This is still the same great place it was years ago. Lots of Frostic prints and cards to purchase as well as some other "up north" gift type things. The best time to go is when the presses are running (during the week I think).
Jackie Ryerson: I was impressed with the shave done on my late mother's small poodle whose hair was like sheep's wool. I paid extra but it was well worth itNow I have her trim on a schedule which will prevent further any overgrown coat.
Lori Jean: I love this place! Kandice the groomer is a true professional! She is super friendly and welcoming, helps to support dogs when needed, and her poodle cuts are superb ❤️❤️

Sit Means Sit - Lansing: what do users think?
dana strickland: We have spent a lot of money over the years with minimal results. Sit means Sit trained all THREE of our dogs together, GAME CHANGER!!! We could not be happier, money well spent!!! They trained us as well, again, GAME CHANGER!!! Thanks ERICA!
Supreme View: Sit Means Sit has brought peace to our family. We have a 110lb bernedoodle that didn't realize his size. Our fear was that his would injury someone with his inability to control his excitement due to his size. The first week, Sit Means Sit, taught my dog manners and completely changed our lives forever! Hands down worth every penny and would recommend to anyone to use Sit Means Sit for their dog training needs.
Kelsey Curtis: Never did I ever imagine this training course would be as effective as it is. It has saved our sanity! I never realized all of the bad behavior that I was actually rewarding and reinforcing. You have to put in the work, but I can tell you first hand that it pays off! Worth every penny. Thank you Audra and your team! We look forward to working more with you this summer.
David Williamsen: Best place ever to get your dog trained! Audra is fantastic!
Amy Holzhausen: After trying several other methods of training for our reactive ACD, this method has worked the best. Audra and Erica are fantastic and we are very happy with the results we are seeing. Highly recommended.
Jennifer Vavricka: Great training
James Gatto: User friendly easy to use
Marisa Hayes: I cannot recommend Sit Means Sit-Lansing enough! If you are having trouble communicating and/or finding a strong relationship with your dog this is the place to go. I recused a 8 month old Golden Retriever in March of 2021 who perviously had 3 other owners due to her playful/aggressive behavior and excessive energy. The first trainer I hired tried telling me my puppy needs to go to a behavioral vet to be put on medicine because she is not a "normal" puppy. This made me lose hope and almost convinced me to rehome my sweet girl. I decided to do more research on training and I came across Sit Means Sit. Audra gave me so much hope after the free consultation; she is so educated, patient, and you can tell she loves what she does. After completing the 4 sessions with Audra's amazing apprentice, my girl is happy, controlled, and our everyday life is finally enjoyable with each other!
Karen Lopez: Our dog Buddy was anything but anyone's buddy. He was disobedient, willful and food aggressive. I only walked him in areas where nobody else would be. He still has more to learn but the progress he has made has been phenomenal. After his first training day we saw a huge improvement in his behavior. He has graduated to group class where we are both gaining the confidence to walk in populated areas around other dogs. Three months ago I would have never thought this would be a possibility. They have given me back my dog, my Buddy.
Brooke Smith: Without Audra and Erica I thought I was going to have to place one of my dogs due to their disagreements. I would walk on eggshells in my home not wanting to trigger River or Bailey knowing that To much excitement or commotion could upset River. My dog lacked confidence because of me getting to learn and acknowledge this was a huge step. River did 4 one in one classes and you could tell a difference after the first class. Once we graduated to group class I was nervous that she would react and I wouldn’t be able to handle her this was not the case she was focused on me not what was going on. I love this team so much and look forward to class it’s a huge stress reliever and a break from everything else. Its a great bonding experience and we’re all their for one reason to help our dogs along with giving us the confidence as well to step outside of our comfort zones. Thank you both for all the amazing work you do!
Heather Bergeon: It's been a great experience working with the trainers and love that it's not far from home. I look forward to the experience and growing in knowledge each week. Vera girl loves coming as well. 🐾🐶
Jax Kynn: Our puppy, Lupin, was anxious and overwhelmed after being adopted. We had a lot of trouble getting him to listen, and he was afraid of everything. We were told by the rescue where we adopted him from that he had not had socialization with other animals. He wasn't able to go on walks or be near other dogs without lunging and barking. After meeting with Audra, we were nervous about the commitment to training because we were having so much difficulty on our own. It has been a few months of working with Audra, and our dog is able to interact with other dogs and loves learning during training sessions! We finally feel like we are able to communicate with our dog. We were able to take him to a dog park, and he was finally able to make friends and play like a dog!!! Audra has helped us get to know Lupin and be better pet parents; she has provided us with personalized training suggestions that took Lupin's breeds and personality into account. She has even helped us find natural supplements that help decrease his anxiety, and recommended an amazing vet that we love.Edited to add: Lupin passed the AKC Canine Good Citizen test! Thanks to all of the work that Audra has put in with Lupin (and teaching us how put the work in with him!), Lupin has paperwork to show how much he has progressed!
Abbey Frew: I started at Sit Means Sit Lansing in March 2021, and I am so incredibly grateful for the progress that my adult rescue dog, Ringo, has made this far. Prior to working with Audra, I had an unsuccessful training experience with Ringo. I was worried we wouldn't be able to get past Ringo's fearfulness of people but Audra assured me she was confident in her ability to help. Only about a month and a half after starting training, Ringo has been able to join the large group class and welcome strangers into our home without trying to protect me. I look forward to seeing his continued progress.
Chris Bachelder: Audra at Sit Means Sit - Lansing has worked wonders for our family's new puppy (we have a beautiful mini-goldendoodle that we affectionately nicknamed, "The Red Devil"). We were struggling with hyperactivity, excessive barking, biting and aggressive play with our young daughter. Within the first session we experienced a complete turn-around in our puppy's behavior and could not happier with the results. Audra is very professional, patient and friendly and took the time to explain her process and approach with us, as well as set clear expectations and techniques for our active role in our puppy's training. The program we purchased included 4 individual training sessions, all the equipment we would require, and ongoing group support sessions to help reinforce the training over time. Our family highly recommends Sit Means Sit - Lansing; well worth our investment.
amanda mills: I was hoping for a great place to take my husky puppy read all good reviews.. But how can i give one when im told to give my dog up and she would be more than happy to take her off my hands. A trainer should be willing to help you get you where you want to be with your family. Not try to convince you to give up someone who is family.. My answer is no i would not give up her like i wont give up my kids. Sad i was hoping for great place to work with my baby.... How are you going to lie say i was homeless.. I owned my own home and work for the state of Michigan.. I never asked you for free training hun i make more money then you.. You are very unprofessional .. I will be reporting you..
Kari Mendelsohn-Victor: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ReliabilityAudra did a great job training our headstrong scent-oriented possibly ADHD terrier/beagle/donkey mix to pay attention to us. Highly recommend!
Nick “Nick” He: We rescued a pity named Ted which has had a difficult history. While me and my partner both had dogs growing up, Ted was like none other in his anxiety with other animals. Before us, Ted was adopted and brought back three times due to issues with dog aggression, separation anxiety, and overall lack of control, despite being the sweetest boy to all humans. Realizing that without proper control and obedience that Ted could become a danger to other pets, we decided to bring him to Audra. While I can't say he is the perfect dog (yet), he is definitely more well behaved than most other dogs I see (we noticed results within the first week!). Moreover, his anxiety and aggression has steadily begun to decrease as his attention and personality has improved. He is no longer on high alert all the time but instead relaxed while having more trust in us, his owners. I feel that Audra didn't just train our dog, but trained us on how to train our dog, which is equally if not more important. Moreover, Audra was able to help us with more than just behavioral obedience; she provided excellent advice on braces for Ted's bad leg as well as other facts about the health of our dog. If you want reliable, effective, and personalized training with a dog behaviorist who goes above and beyond in so many ways, this is your place.
Neil Cohen: Audra is an outstanding trainer with an incredible depth of knowledge. I came to her for help with my dog while we were staying in Lansing for a few months. With covid, I was really anxious about sanitary conditions. The place was spotless, audra was always masked and she was pretty blunt that no one would be allowed in the facility without a mask and hand sanitizer. I know that can be draconian for some but it was exactly what I needed to hear.
Kelly Garland: Positive:Quality,ValueAudra is the best dog trainer ever! You won't be disappointed! Love her!
Elizabeth Arcaute: Take your pet elsewhere this lady has issues & I wouldn’t trust my pets with her! You don’t know where I’ve taken my pets and this review is in no way another training company discrediting your training! This is ME discrediting YOU as an individual because you’re CRAZY!
David Villegas: Very good intense training.
