Alan Ke: I ordered window screen from Davis. The young guy came to measure the screens and took channel balance for us was quite friendly and helpful. But then after we got the screens we found the screens were loose and one side curved up if you put them on the floor. I didn't notice that and I asked them to make two channel balance. They did not want to bring them back to me this time but asked me to pick up from their store. So I brought in a loose screen with me and see if they can do something with it. The office was very small. The old guy who met me at the front was unfriendly and impatient (not sure if I met the same guy as others did.) After I showed the screen to him, he said "I did not see a problem with it! If you put it on it will fit." He refused to do anything with it, and said if I want them to do something, I had to bring back the original (broken) screen to see what the problem was. I was upset as it would take me more than 20 minutes to drive there. Then he said if I'd like someone to come to my house and take a look of the original screen, I'd probably be charged. Later on when I was less annoyed and reconsidered their request, I was still not able to make sense of it: why did they need me to bring back the original one as they had already measured the screen carefully? This made me guess that they were just not willing to do anything about that. So be careful about taking their service as you may not be able to get any follow-up service after you make the payment. Next time I'll just find a bigger store or company.

Hence the reason for a five star rating.We used Window World a few years ago to have windows replaced and it was a great experience. Fast forward to beginning of June 2021, time to get the entry door and the one window we didn’t replace. Tom comes out goes through everything writes it up and plans to return when we were ready to move forward. Within a few days of that visit we attempted to get in touch to get the ball rolling. NO call back until we talked to corporate customer service threatening to take our business elsewhere. Lo and behold received a call back from Betty within an hour of that call. Oh Tom is on vacation but she will send him a message. Tom finally shows up, can’t find any of the paperwork he had written up during our 1st meeting so a process I expected to be quick ended up choosing everything again. We were told installation would be September by October no communication from anyone so we started calling every 2 weeks for an update. Each time we called we received a different answer, door not in yet, next call we have the door but not the window, next call oh we have had both in the warehouse but we don’t have installers. Last phone call in December was told the location is under new management, I was apparently talking to a regional director who pulled my file and said we will get you on the books and hope to install by Christmas. Now 3 weeks later not a call to even get an installation date. We ordered $5,000 worth of new Entrance Doors in December after we were broken into and they told us it would be a 2 week turnaround. I’ve called every week to confirm a install date and they finally set the date for today. I called them this morning and they told me they never ordered the doors. I asked for a refund today and they told me no.Pretty much was ripped off for thousands of dollars and it’s now the last day of January and our doors are still broken and it’ll take another couple of weeks to find another company and get the doors replaced.If you’re a contractor or know a contractor please let them know! If you ever plan on getting new glass or your screens fixed make sure you don’t call them! Absolutely ridiculous and I can’t believe they’re still in business.

They are both pros. They were the only company we could find that would come to the house and replace the glass on a wood frame window on site. They came to the house and measured the glass. We had them order the glass when the weather was better. The glass came in in about a week. They were able to schedule to come and change the glass within three days. Price also was very reasonable. Robert Seeley: I went to the Novi Home Show and made an appointment for wallside to come to my home and make an appointment. Wallside called the day before the appointment and has informed me that they refuse to come to my home and give me a quote. I spoke to a call center supervisor and they again refused to come to my home and give me an estimate unless my wife and I were both present. My wife works and it is not possible for her to be in the house. Apparently, they use the hard sell process to make their sales and do not want to give an estimate and then wait for a decision. I will go with a different window company that is willing to do the work, and not make up unreasonable rules to give a simple estimate. This company must be in the sales group with Hanson's windows who also believed in the "Hard Sell" to sell windodws. I would give a zero star if the program would allow me to.

Bridget Cimas: We got a new roof, attic venting, gutter guards, a new tub and shower. The roof was done fast, but they left trash and nails everywhere. Called they came and kinda cleaned up. Gutter guard guy showed up told us the gutter weren't attached anymore gutter full of nails, tools left on the roof. Bathroom was a nightmare took forever rescheduled multiple times, finally showed up with the wrong size tub had to wait longer. Finally got the bath guy there he was suppose to replace the sub floor and didn't. Argued with me about putting green board all around behind the tub. We left a review he came back the next day was in face about how dare I leave and poor review about him. He finished the job and the tub faucet had been leaking ever since. Call to get it service they never showed and the guy called me directly and said he didn't have time to take a service call. So I guess I'm just supposed to live with a leaking faucet!

Logan Shackelford: I'll start off my review by saying that I am completely pleased with my roof and the crew that did the job. However, I know they do not work for Hanson's and the people that do work for Hanson's were some of the worst that I've dealt with. First off, my project coordinator, Barbra Fry, never once reached out to me until I reached out to her first. I called and texted the day before they were supposed to start (between 7-9am) she didn't contact me back until after 8 am that morning to tell me it was a rain day and they wouldn't start then. I wasn't notified that a dumpster would be dropped off at 6pm Sunday night or that the crew would be starting the next morning.When I expressed my frustrations with her she escalated my call to the general manager, Dana Nowell, he called me the same day. Basically justified their "rain days" even though the forecast was not properly looked at at all. Both of the days we had 1 hour out of the day that had a 51% chance of rain. Most places work around that. Dana, GM, said whatever he could to just shut me up that day. Told me he couldn't help me till it was done and that he would contact me when it is done. I am 3 business days post-roof and I have yet to hear from him. Stands true to their LACK OF COMMUNICATION.Lastly, our salesman, Don Thompson, he also was contacted during the process since we hadn't heard back from our project coordinator. He told us the same thing. Wait till it's done, he was going to contact the GM and have him help. Well again, haven't heard anything. Also, during our sales pitch I asked if we would get a breakdown of the prices. He said after the fact they could provide that. Well he hit reply all to the email of me asking about it and asked his boss, Dana Nowell, if they could even provide that since they don't typically or if he should even respond to the customer at all.this was my experience, I'm sure others have had better. As far as I go I will never use Hanson's again and definitely won't hold my breath waiting for them to contact me back lol.Update on this review. I am looking to get more work done to my home and need measurements of my home. Since all that work was done just recently I thought I would look through paperwork to save some time/effort. That's such a joke. Since Hanson's couldn't provide me the proper paperwork I'll have to go re-measure. Rebeckajo Lewis: We called in November for a quote to replace a window before we placed our house on the market. It was expressed how important it was to have this window replaced before January. They set an appointment to have a professional measure the window before ordering the window. The person never showed up. When we called Hansons to find out what is going on, we were transferred multiple times to be hung up on with no answers several times.When the window was finally ordered, it took forever. We finally got the call that the window was in a just before listing our home. We were able to schedule a couple of days after listing our home for Hansons to call the day of the appointment to tell us that the window was measured wrong and the windowed we just waited 2.months for was wrong. We called and expressed how important it was that the window got fixed and why and Hansons customer service was super unprofessional and had no compassion for the situation they created. After a week we received a call from Hansons asking how our install went. At that point we had an offer on our house fall through because of the window, and we were beyond upset that they didn't even acknowledge that they messed up and didn't even know that they didnt provide the service they were calling us to rate.Spent a lot of money for really really bad service. Hanson's cost me a lot of money on an offer on my house that we never got again. Would not recommend Hansons.Service:Window repair
