Michael Simmons: Hey Doug! No, I don’t really know you, but our waitperson was Ginger and she told me you own People’s Kitchen. Thought I’d personalize this review! Just had breakfast with my beautiful partner and we agree this was an excellent meal! We had the pancakes and Still Ain’t Broke. Eggs made perfectly and that lemon butter on the cakes was amazing. Sausage was also very tasty.Oh, and the coffee was the best! And, and Ginger was very friendly and provided all the answers we needed in making our selections and she kept the coffee flowing. Thanks!
N M: This was an experience. A very artsy relaxed feeling upon entering. I loved how happy and friendly the staff was. My whole family was in love with each dish. I recommend everything as we pretty much ordered one of each thing on the brunch menu. My family wants to come back to try the dinner.
Joey Nolan: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Catherine Caswell: Mother's day brunch was worth the wait. Omg shrimp and grits was perfect. 9 in our party and everyone's plate were just beautiful.Wheelchair accessibility: Only good if you can hold it lol
Israel Conerly: There is 1 vegan option for brunch and lunch. Stop recommending this as a vegan restaurant 😂 the restaurant said it hasn't had good options in a long time.Vegetarian options: One option
Jennifer Sochor: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Pietro Spiga: Very nice patio and chill vibe. Good very tasty.

Kristy Jackson: I have lived in Lansing all my life and The Peoples Kitchen is the only real option for a good atmosphere, mimosas and great food and it’s not cold or too hot just good time. Waiter has been cute the last two times I went too so the views ain’t bad either lol!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Hailey: Great and friendly staff. We had to wait about 10 mins for a table of 4 on a Saturday morning, but they did estimate about 30 mins. They do not have gluten-free bread or batter. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast potatoes, they reminded me of a Thanksgiving meal, lol. But my friends like them. Overall, cool place!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
RG Harden: Attended the wine dinner and they did a great job pairing the entry with each wine. Also go to PC for dinner and have never been disappointed.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Etta Abrahams: The most wonderful expansion of the East side of Lansing for me has been The People’s Kitchen. It’s atmosphere has a lovely grittiness about it and one feels entirely at home in whatever one chooses to wear—dress, denim or drag. But most important are the food, wine and service. Whether for brunch, lunch or dinner, in small or larger groups, every morsel I’ve eaten and sip I’ve imbibed has been transportative. The servers are prompt, knowledgeable and attentive. The chef changes the menu seasonall it seems. Yes, prices are up there, but the experience is worth it. Not fit for a glutton but for those who appreciate reasonably sized portions of finely prepared foods.Be sure to try one of their special wine tasting or beer tasting dinners!Parking: Lots of parking behind and across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp to restaurant.
Justin Kirkpatrick: Hands down the best restaurant in the area. Haven’t had a bad dish ever, and I often bring out of town guests for dinner. Cocktails are always inventive and fresh. Highly highly recommend.
Mandy Dittmer: Some of the best food in Lansing! Love their pancakes and chicken sandwiches among other things…just an excellent establishment that you must try!
Kyle Parkllan: The food tasted great, and the service and atmosphere was very cool. I would recommend looking at the menu beforehand, as the prices and entrees have changed (understandable) since the last time we visited. Two separate parties were seated next to us and left after looking at the menu claiming they couldn't addord it. The server was so kind and did provide some local recommendations which I'm sure helped what was likely an uncomfortable feeling. We ordered two entrees, no drinks, apps or desert and it was $87 before tip. Unfortunately the portion sizes left us hungry.I'm not saying there's anything wrong with what they charge, but the dinner service seemed to target the high end/specialty dining experience.
Heaven Lee: This place was really good! A bit overpriced, but the vibes are real fun. I got the really fu%#ing good pancakes which were the second best pancakes I've ever had and my fiance got the shrimp and grits which he is still obsessing over days later. The raspberry Daiquiri was not very good, but our mimosas were amazing.Edit in response to the owners feedback: I gave 4 stars for a variety of reasons I did not include because I didn't want my review to deter other customers.I'm personally a vegetarian, I ordered what I did because it was the only thing I saw on the menu that could accommodate to my dietary restrictions. I would love to see the menu be as inclusive as the environment. While our server was super friendly, we barely saw her. I wish she would have stopped at our table one more time to make sure we were doing okay. But it was super busy and I've worked in the service industry so I totally get it, and do not hold anything against our server. But also coming from the food service industry, I was more than alarmed when I saw another server in a different section violate numerous health code violations including handling food with bare hands, not having her hair secured, handling dirty dishes then immediately handling plates that just came from the kitchen without even washing her hands.I also was not a fan of the raspberry Daiquiri because it was not a traditional Daiquiri as I was expecting and it was strong. Not sure if the measurements were off or something, but the flavors were fighting with each other. But that is just my preference, I'm sure someone else would like it.

Beggar's Banquet: what do users think?
Brenda Vohs: There is nothing special to cost so much money, I didn't even see any ambiance. To make it that much money
C Smith: Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
C M: Great service, wonderful staff. Not my favorite in terms of atmosphere and the food was ok! We got Your Way Pancakes and a Your Way Omelette as well as the Hippie Bowl. Would not recommend the Hippie bowl, at least not with the walnuts.
Glenn Charles: Just had the worst ever experience at this place thanks to a waitress named "Justice". We didn't even get a chance to order our food. She brought two glasses of ice water and when we asked for water without ice, she snatched the glasses away in a huff and went from 0-100 in a millisecond. Did not realize it's not ok to have a preference for what we consume! If you like being treated like the waitress does not want you to be there, ask for Justice.
Jennifer Millbauer: Nice brunch spot. Service could have been a little faster but they were very friendly. Only complaint is it kinda smelled like a port-a-potty in there? Not sure if that's because of construction or what but not exactly what you want to smell while you're eating.Dietary restrictions accommodated Vegetarian Recommendation for vegetarians Not sure Vegetarian offerings Clearly labeled vegetarian dishes …More
Tammy Marie: Nice brunch though it appears kitchen cooking is a bit inconsistent... My eggs Benedict had poached eggs that were fully cooked, no yoke while my companion had eggs that were runny.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Leona Keys: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Adriana Lopez: Great service and food was great! I got their build your own sandwich on a croissant and the only reason I'm giving a four star is because the croissant fell apart before I even bit into it so it made it hard to eat. The server mentioned the croissants are made in house and you can tell, it was perfectly flaky and delicious. Service was fast and very friendly! Will be back for sure🙂
Sherry Trafford: Too expensive and had to pay to park.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

David Schott: The restaurant itself was nice. Had the eggs benedict flight, the eggs themselves were more on the hardboiled side, but the rest of the meal was good.
Ron McWilliams: This place was delicious. I’m glad we made a reservation, it was also very busy. Atmosphere was great. Food was fantastic. I tried some local beer and it was great. Highly recommend.

Cask & Company Kitchen & Bar: what do users think?
Luanda Coleman: First time here! I think this may be a new hang out/ business meeting spot. Our service provider was Mike and he was amazing and so patient while my guest and I sat for A LONG TIME to catch up. He didn’t make us feel uncomfortable at all. We felt welcome to stay for as long as we wanted. My Philly beef egg rolls were FIRE! Drinks were nice and strong! So good! Great place for sure!
Chris Janderwski: Food was over priced for the taste. Was unable to sit at a booth cause they were “reserved”. Even though the hour we were at the restaurant - 3 sat empty.
Alexandria Barron: Will forever recommend Cask and Co to anyone looking for a great meal with nice ambiance. The sushi is to die for and the bartenders always strive to provide the best service possible. Syd is the bartender I have most frequently, and for that I am thankful! Whether I want to chat or take time to myself to reflect, Syd always adheres to my needs while making a hell of a drink!
Angela Firlit: Stopped in for dinner the other night, food and service was fantastic and our server Sydney was amazing!! Will come again.
David Montag: Been here twice in two weeks and the service has been exceptional, the food/menu is overwhelming in a good way with so many options and different cuisines to choose from, was not disappointed. I’d like to shout out Victoria and Kenzie, our two servers and Nathan, the GM, and one of the heads chefs, Jeff. I look forward to my next visit. Great job!!
Kimmy K: We were recommended to go here. It was fine, but the food was not as good as expected. I was recommended to try the Mac n' Cheese with pulled pork. It was good, but not amazing. We had a wonton appetizer which was fair. It was a large menu, but almost everything had too much hot seasoning. I wish that we would have tried the sushi, but neither of us felt like sushi at the time. It looked fresh.
Michael Thompson: First time checking the place out. Had the Elk Sausage Po' Boy and some coffee. Coffee was great and the Po' Boy is one of the best sandwiches I've had anywhere. Great cook and flavor on the sausage and the texture of the bread was perfect. Great bar and FOH service all around. Looking forward to the next visit.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Tom Webber: Food was outstanding as was the service. Waitstaff was very attentive to our needs. Manager stopped by our table and asked how we were doing. Highly recommend!
Jenna Piotrowicz: One of my favorite restaurants to go to. Food is always good, and Sydney was a fantastic server! She was attentive and made our experience even better.Dietary restrictions: Many gluten free options!
Tracey Mulvihill: Sydney was very patient with our table of 12 people. She was attentive and let us know when drinks, dishes were coming to us! Delish food too!
Joshua McLees: Great food. Sydney was very friendly and did an excellent job.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Brockton Feltman: I have lived in Lansing for a number of years and have not found a better place than Cask & Co./Front 43. Great atmosphere, fun patrons, and excellent staff. Jordan, Sydney and Grace are especially welcoming and friendly, doing their jobs with deftness and skill while keeping up that fun dialogue one expects at a great bar. Thumbs up all the way!
Sadie Boone: Great service and drinks at the bar. Grace made our evening!
Kolton Burns: Payton was great
