Toni Berry: We had a BLAST in the Space Room! (See what I did there?) ;) Our family of 6 went for our son's 15th birthday and absolutely loved it. To top off the birthday celebration, we finished without ANY hints and with just over 10 minutes to spare! We would say it was just the right level of challenge to be fun without getting frustrated, and each of us figured out different clues, truly working together. We definitely recommend the family-friendliness and fun of The Pod! It was more affordable than other local escape rooms; that, too, was a bonus.

Samantha Yager: Booked this escape room for my birthday party, all people in their 20s and 30s and for most of us this was our first escape room. We had such a great time in the Space room. And Arron was an absolutely hilarious game master! I'm sure we'll be back to try out the other rooms!

We had no idea what to expect with it being our first time ever but it was super fun and our guide was very helpful and gave perfect hints! She got us thinking without giving anything totally away which made the experience great! We definitely want to go back and try the other rooms! :)

Alexandra Darling: My work team went to the Pod escape room as a team building and fun exercise outside the office. We had 14 people and split into three teams in three different rooms. We had an AMAZING time! The staff seemed knowledgeable in how to make for a great experience for such a large group. They were really easy to book with and provided excellent service once we were there - the place was clean, they offered seating and water while we went through the plan, and they gave clear instructions on how to play. I would definitely go back again for work or with family and friends!

Hannah Zondlak: We were able to set a custom time for our escape room and our gamemaster went above and beyond for us when our original gamemaster couldn't be there due to an illness. We did the Christmas themed room and were very pleased by the challenge! Very well put together unique room.

Sydney Ferry: The Pod Escape Room was amazing! They stayed open late so we could do their Santa’s Study escape room as part of our work Christmas celebration. As many of us traveled from 45+ mins away, we all appreciated this! As for the environment - it was very friendly and welcoming! Jared was our game master and was amazing! He gave us just the right amount of help and answered every question we had prior to starting perfectly! Definitely recommend!

CJ VanNieuwenhuyzen Chaitanya: Our 5th visit to this fabulous place! The Pod is clean, bright and welcoming. The rooms are always challenging, innovative and fresh. The hosts are always kind and fun.This visit we did “Stranded”, which is the first time I’ve ever seen a sand based room! Very cool!

The room we chose wasn't too difficult or frustrating which allowed it to be enjoyable. The price seemed a bit high but it was a good time nonetheless.

AM V: Probably the best escape room(s) in Lansing area. Been to all four of them. Staff and manager are friendly and very helpful. A must-go for escape room lovers. Some advice with spoilers:spoilersspoilersspoilersspoilersspoilers1) A group of 3-4 is recommended. There’s only once I get to room 3 with with a group of 2. With more than 5 ppl there may not be enough space.2) Difficulty level: Under pressure (many locks & puzzles) Budapest Express (third room, names) Cuban Crisis(visual, coordination)Antidote(pretty standard).3) Make sure you get to the second room within 15 minutes, reach out for help if not, or else it’s unlikely you’ll not get to the third room.4) The clues you get from room 1 may be applied for room 2-3, vise versa. Be flexible.

Kaycie Jones: My family and I, a party of seven, did the Under Pressure escape room. We picked it purely because of the time slot availability. It was great and super hard. We got into the last of the three rooms before we ran out of time. Don't think once you get that last door open you're almost done. You are not! Not by a long shot! The 3 free clues where very helpful and I wish we had used them sooner. We found out that this room has a 25% success rate so we're at least glad we found all of the tanks and got them into the last room before we said our goodbyes and died, LOL. We will be going back and trying other rooms next time we have a chance when we're in Lansing.

Greg Zenker: A group of 4 of us did this for the first time. It was quite fun. The room was clean and layed out well. It was different than what I expected, but in a good way. The room temperature was comfortable. The staff was friendly.

She was genuinely happy for us when my team escaped, with one minute to spare! Our game master was Matt, and he greeted us with a very friendly greeting upon our arrival. He was extremely helpful when I needed hints, and gave me the perfect amount of information without giving away the ending. If you find yourself in Lansing, I would definitely recommend Escapology. You’ll have a great time!

Karen Igel: We have been to 4 different escape room locations in Lansing. This location is my favorite because it just seems to be cleaner and nicer . Like the difference between a 5 star hotel and a 3 star hotel. They seem to put more money into each room, so I just prefer it here. The staff at all escape rooms in the area seem all equally great...but I would definitely rate Escapology as my favorite option in the area!

Diana Major: I’ve tried several rooms here and every single one has been amazing. We did the Pharoah’s tomb this time and everyone was in awe of the detail and work put into making it an immersive experience. We can’t wait to go back.

123 Wraichu (‪Wrai‬): Went recently with a group of 7 and played 2 rooms, Pharaoh's Revenge, and Tin Star Saloon. Each room was incredibly well-themed, and the puzzles innovative and intuitive. Highly recommend, the rooms they offer here are really neat!Tip: Don't be too proud to use clues, you get a certain number per room, there's no shame in using clues, especially if you're stumped!

Andy Nix: The escape room we did was Villain themed. It was a lot of fun. Very unique, teamwork based puzzles. They have many different themed rooms, plus they sell board/card games. I had never done anything like this. Our host was amazing. If you're looking for something different to do, gather a group of friends and get ready to have a blast.

We had a team of 5 at level 2 failed but we will get it right next time (hopefully).

They have a great variety of themes, and the employees are really good at knowing when to give hints so as to not make the experience too easy or too frustrating when you feel stuck.I really like the Wild West Saloon room, and Egyptian room! The details in these rooms are super impressive!I can't wait until they open The HAUNT experience!

Timothy Pinches: I've done several escape rooms before. But Challenges' "The Pharaoh's Revenge" was my favorite of them all. It had a very well-put together aesthetic, using lighting and decorations to set the scene very effectively. They also had an excellent set of puzzles in a variety of styles. Really, some of the best puzzle design I've seen in an escape room.
