Clark's Sale's & Service: what do users think?
Ian Holland: Best in town
Penny Lewis: I can't even go into how dissatisfied I was with this business. The first time (Yes I had to turn around and go back) I went, I took my own part, because it was recommended I do so. While they didn't try to rip me off on the labor charge, I understood why after leaving. The young man who did the repair, while very nice, was VERY NEW, and had to keep stopping and go inside to "Borrow" tools, because he didn't have his own. At least that's what he said. I had to have the trailer light assembly replaced, because I was trying to pick up a U-Haul trailer, and I couldn't get it until the trailer lights were working. So I went back to get the U-Haul and my trailer lights still weren't working. Clark's never tested the new assembly lights to see if the problem was resolved. SO BACK TO CLARK'S I WENT. I explained the lights still weren't working, and was told by Matt(?) that they "Really didn't do that kind of work", but he'd check the fuses. Once he found the fuse and pulled it, he handed it off to another guy and told him to check it to see if it was any good. The other guy took the fuse, and immediately started to place it back where it was taken out of. I stopped him and asked him if it was good or not, and he looked at me as if I had 3 head's. Then proceeded to tell me he thought it was. 🤦🏼‍♀️So I went and found Matt(?), and asked him if the fuse was good, and he told me, my best bet was to take my vehicle to Hitches and More in Jackson, and tell them that he sent me there. That they would take care of me. I thought to myself, if you don't know what you are doing, and you are going to recommend me to a place and tell me to tell them you sent me??????? YEAAAAAAAAA NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!!!! I took my vehicle to Ultimate Auto Repair and got the job done, by a REPUTABLE REPAIR SHOP AND WAS TAKEN CARE OF AS IF I WAS FAMILY!!!!CAN NOT, WILL NOT RECOMMEND CLARK'S
Mary Rondy: I took my riding lawn mower to Clark's as it wouldn't start. They were able to fix the electrical wiring issue and recommended other needed repairs which I approved. The work was done well and timely.
Rene Franco: Great sales and customer service.
Shannon Powers: Excellent service, knowledgeable staff.
Lee Porter: Great experience, high quality service
Darrell Howe: They were real people who are knowledgeable in tractor repair. Highly recommended.
Kristy: Quick, friendly and professional service! They made fixing my broken down lawn mower become operational again really smoothly and fast! Towing services, summer lawn mower maintenance, golf cart tire repair, and other small engine repairs. We've had really good service with our smaller tractor repairs too in the past. Would definitely use their services again!
Tami Lynn: Awesome customer service, will definitely be using them in the future!
Kelly Strasser: He was absolutely fantastic, fixed up our mower in only a few days and was super affordable and helpful. Would definitely go there again if I ever need anything else done!
Angela Madden: Clark’s team was upfront and honest about what was wrong with my repair. They were quick and efficient. Very easy to work with. Thankful to have a great small local business.
Brian England: Great service, meeting your needs. Went beyond expectations.
Beth Dewey: Great communication, service, and prices.
Abhiram Vallabhaneni: Best place to get the small engines fixed. I had my lawnmower with damaged engine, although they are very busy but they really turned the things quicker.

Sandra Knierim: I recently had my Troybuilt lawnmower repaired by Joel and his team. I have to say I am very pleased with the outcome. They are very caring and understanding of the conversation on the phone as to what is needed to be done and I find Clark's to be a great go to for the help I need on my lawn tractor. Thank you all so much for my much needed help! I gave you 5 stars!!
Suzanne Pentecost: I have been waiting for a call from Matt Clark for a week after.he ran away from a 1:00 pm scheduled.appointment, we were to discuss a 1200.00 PAID IN CASHSTATEMENT.I was 10 min late due TO ROAD ISSUESI was told he had gone to the bank and would not be back but would call to discussI am not interested in discussing over the phone. At this time still waiting, to discussItems charged, paid for and work not done.I have since had some else who works on vintage tractors. This company is not honorableTrust worth, and COMPLETELY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF A SENIOR CITIZEN.I WILL CONTINUE TO FOLLOW UPDO NOT RELY ON THEIR VERBAGEGARBAGE!!!I AM WILLING TO DISCUSS THIS COMPANY WITH ANYONE WHO IS CONSIDERING DEALING WITH THEM,THANK YOU!!!I was to discuss a invoice, he billedMe me
John Dysart: I took my John Deere 4200 in for basic hydraulic fluid change and right axile seal replacement. On changing the hydraulic fluid found a piece of metal on the magnet that was from the PTO (a L shaped metal finger ) that needed repair. Matt called me to discuss and stated total cost would be around $2700 -$2800 . So I agreed and he said he would need $1800 down and then I'd owe $900 at pickup. Of course when I came to pick it up price had escalated $500.00- total at pickup was now $1400.00. I discussed this with Matt- who now said he didn't include the price for the hydraulic change - and said that I had talked to another individual there about that. Interesting in that he was involved at the beginning given the hydraulic fluid was drained when they noted the "metal finger" issue and I asked him specifically what the total price would be over the phone. He then admitted to the fact that there was lack of communication although additional $500 he could not do anything about. Next on the bill I noted they charge 3.5% for credit card use- they also don't let you know about until you come in to pay the bill. He did agree to waive the credit card cost. In my opinion- beware of this place and make sure you get a price in writing because of obvious experience I had.I am also a business man and if I make a mistake as such I would at least go half way to make it right. Customers always spread the word and business can change quickly when legitimate negative experiences impact us..Interesting note- this place is not accredited through the BBB which holds businesses to high standards so no one really to complain to. I did speak to my friend who recommended Clark to me- he was shocked and I think when you treat a customer as such- word gets around. If you own a tractor it is wise to make sure the mechanics working on your equipment are certified and know what they are doing- Im not sure about this place in that regard. Ill stick with D and G at this point!
none none: Good
David Wirick: Great people, got me in right away for a quick repair!!! Highly recommended!
Steve Craft: Great service at a great price
