Wild Goose Inn: what do users think?
Matt Mansfield: I have stayed in every single room here over the past 10 years, including getting engaged here and staying on our wedding night. Al is the nicest and most hands-on owner and we look forward to our stay every time. The staff is attentive and the breakfast is always very good too! Each room has its own character & fun details so check them all out. Conveniently located downtown so you can walk to bars, restaurants & football games.
Tiffany McGillie: A wonderful place! This perfect gem is located right in the heart of downtown East Lansing, but feels private and secluded once you enter. I can't recommend it enough. The entire place is wonderfully and thoughtfully appointed--the innkeepers have really good taste! There are interesting and beautiful things to discover in every corner, and that's before you even get to your suite (check out the cupula)! I stayed in the "Winter Eden" suite, and it was great. The spa bath room was so beautiful: Live ferns and plants surrounded the (big enough for two!) jet tub, and there were multiple skylights above. It was a great place to stay, and I can't wait to go back.Nearby activities: Saper Gallery is right across the street, and the Broad Art Museum is less than a block away (on the MSU campus). There are multiple pubs, clubs, eateries, and shops nearby. Want a really good dinner nearby? Try Beggar's Banquet!Walkability: This place is about as downtown as East Lansing gets. You can walk anywhere downtown easily and safely.Noteworthy details: Beautiful furniture and decor; secluded outdoor courtyard; quality personal products in the bathroom; spa robes in the closet; fresh flowers in the rooms!
Harold Devine: Very quaint little b&b
Kevin “Ronan” Lovell: Had a beautiful room with a jacuzzi in it. Great location great people!Rooms: Beautiful rooms with a few choices of themes. Location is great for everything MSU!Walkability: Great location
Ml Tupps: It was such a rimantic get away! It was so relaxing. This was my first time at a bed and breakfast and I was not disappointed. The rooms are so uniqueWe stayed in the Atumn room. I loved the fire place. Also its pet freindly.Rooms: It was unique and had a hot tub as my favorite feature.Nearby activities: We stayed to be close to the wharton thea8. We qent to see betwl juice. This also close to many other unique restrqunts and bakeries. The merdian mall is 8 minutes away.
Don Grinnell: This is a great place to stay, quiet, peaceful, the food and service is top notch, couldn't picked a better place to stay for my wife's birthday. P.S. the dog greeter (Yogi) is the sweetest dog ever. Great job everyone we will be a repeat guest.Ty
The Shaw's: Wife and I have enjoyed stays in every room! While we have our favorites, they are all unique/enjoyable in their own way!We absolutely Love this Bed W/breakfast! CThe rooms are amazing! The breakfast is always delicious! And then you have Yogi there to make it feel like home, while we eat.Al the owner is always friendly, and attentive! (Btw Yogi is the perfect four legged hostess friend)The location is amazing as well. As there are plenty of options for food, drinks, and activities within walking distance. You just have to look past the beer bong tables in the front yards nearly everywhere. I mean, this is college town and all... lolRooms: The rooms are amazing with in suite Jacuzzis!Nearby activities: There are ample activities all around. Food, drinks, art galleries, etc...Walkability: A variety of venues within walking distance.
Mia Hillaker: Absolutely gorgeous gem hidden in East Lansing! It's not much to look at on first glance, but every room is beautiful and unique. We rented out the whole venue for a Bachelorette Party and had a wonderful time. Very clean and the owner/staff were super friendly and respectful. They also validate parking for the lot next door, which is super convenient and much appreciated :)
Jessica Y: We went here for our anniversary and it was such a nice experience. They even brought us fresh flowers for our room that bloomed for weeks when we brought them home. It was nice to be able to walk out the door, get food, and go to a museum. I felt all the instructions ahead of time were clear and accurate. They made such smart use of the space, and I thought the layout was very unique. Vegan breakfast options are available! They made us really good oatmeal, slow cooked, with fruit and had almond milk for coffee and some good muffins!Plus, they have the cutest dog ever, and it just made it feel like home. We definitely want to go back at some point! In the winter here it was busy but quiet, it is mixed with residential housing so maybe ask ahead about noise during the summer.
Scott Schweizer: Beautiful place and the Innkeeper is the best. Like staying with friends.Walkability: Everything you need is within walking distance.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet, Great value …More
LINDA SCHWEIZER: Quaint, quiet, beautiful, warm, just fabulous! Caretaker/owner is the nicest most accommodating person ever. Sunny: I am absolutely in love with this B&B! I stayed in the Autumn Arbor room and it was so cozy! I loved the jacuzzi tub and the rainfall shower in this room! Everything was very clean and the room provided all the bathroom essentials as well as bathrobes. Their breakfast is also amazing with fresh fruit, coffee, and made to order entreea. As a bonus, during breakfast, you get to meet Yogi, the cutest dog I've ever met! Would 100% stay here again!
Erica Holt: This is the loveliest b&b around. We've wanted to stay a night here since we moved to the Lansing area 5 years ago. This place is absolutely delightful and just as lovely as the photos suggest. The room was nicely decorated with fresh flowers. The jacuzzi bath was amazing. And they offer a big breakfast in the morning.Zero complaints. The price is the same as a lot of chain hotels around, so if you're lucky enough to snag a room here, it's a much better experience.
Molly Sute: The Wild Goose Inn is the perfect escape for a low key couples getaway whether you’re coming from near or far! My fiancé and I stayed in the Autumn Arbor room where we were met with beautiful leaves covering the entire ceiling, the most perfectly selected decor, and of course a unique canopy bed constructed to resemble a beautiful tree. We enjoyed the relaxing jacuzzi tub and the ambiance of the dim lighting, candles provided, and the fireplace roaring at the foot of the bed. In the morning, we were excited to indulge in our much anticipated breakfast consisting of perfectly cooked eggs and toast, with homemade muffins and cut fruit to top it off. The greatest surprise of all was being greeted by our new furry friend, Yogi, who kept us company while we ate and was so well behaved. My fiancé and I are already planning our next trip, in hopes of staying in each of these well designed rooms! Thank you, Wild Goose Inn!
Nancy Cerkvenik: Breakfast was filling and delightful. Rooms are immaculate and the staff are wonderful as well. Very welcoming and comfortable environment.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ashley Goforth: Super perfect date overnight with my husband for our anniversary. We had flowers in our room, candles, nice outdoor seating space, so many nice games and books. Loved the organic soaps and bath salts for our spa tub.The breakfast was amazing, the service was great and everyone was so nice. The location was perfect for walking or riding bikes. Felt homey but very private. We Definitely enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much!

The Willowicke Inn (formerly Topliff's Tara Bed & Breakfast): what do users think?
Patrick Meyer: Sooney and Mike, the hosts, as well as the other guests we've met staying here have always exceeded expectations in the most warm and sincere manner. If you want a restful, happy place with picturesque farmland and skilled, loving hosts, this is the spot.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly …More
Brad Galvan: We really enjoyed our time at the Willowicke Inn. We had 6 adults and a few children and everyone had fun splashing in the pool, meeting the animals and enjoying the delicious breakfasts. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
Bailey Bishop: My now husband and I hosted our wedding at the Willowicke Inn and I can’t say enough great things about this venue. Although we have known Sooney and Mike for many years, it is no secret they make every guest feel like family. Sooney went above and beyond to make our day special and perfect. She is accommodating, flexible, attentive, caring, and hardworking. They will work tirelessly to make sure that your needs are met and your vision comes to life! If you want to work with a great host who will make your farm wedding dreams come to life, the Willowicke Inn is the place to do it! Even with a visit at the BnB you will feel the love and care in her cooking and hospitality! The property is beautiful, the hosts are AMAZING humans, and of course the Lammas and donkeys always put a smile on someone’s face!
Cville Jack: This visit was a return trip to the Willowicke for my wife, three daughters and sons-in-law and six grandchildren. The home is just wonderful...from the charming front porch to the kitchen which accommodated all of us comfortably. The farm is a magical place for young children (and adults) with llamas, donkeys, deer, sand hill cranes, and four tame cats. Combine all of this with hosts that really care about their guests and go way beyond the expected to insure a memorable stay. Sooney's breakfasts are delicious and presented graciously. You will be hard pressed to find a better B&B/Inn than the Willowicke! I've stopped looking.
Nicole Zynda: Beautiful staple in this town wow!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Melissa DeSwarte: What a beautiful, well maintained little piece of heaven! Sooney is such a sweet and accommodating lady, not to mention a great cook. We had the most amazing breakfasts. The grounds are gorgeous and the fun little cats running around outside are so friendly. Cool Whip was our favorite little guy; always ready to greet you when you come outside. Rooms each have their own cute theme and the beds were very comfortable. So many cute shops and restaurants nearby to enjoy as well! Stop in and stay a couple of days. You won’t regret it, I promise!
Deirdre Lozon: My baby shower was at the inn and it was a wonderful experience. The owners were so helpful in the planning of the shower. We had a budget that we needed to stick to and we also had a vision for a menu to stick with our theme. The price per person was a little out of our range but after we expressed this they were able to reduce the price down to a rate we could afford. Very easy to work with and very genuine people! A beautiful place for an event like a shower. I would highly recommend this as a venue to anyone!
Jeanette Carroll: Absolutely beautiful Inn and landscape!
Janet Lagger Thomas: B&B has 6 bed, 4 bath, plenty of room to spread out. This historic home is restored and litely modern-ized (old with new). Beautifully done. Sonney and husband Mike make this a stay to remember. Make sure you stay for the breakfast at 9. All I can say is, "Wow" not your normal breakfast, what a pleasant surprise. Don't miss this hidden B&B jewel. Thank you Sonney and Mike for making the stay for all of us so delightful.
Melissa Filla: We could not have asked for anything more..everything was perfect.... it was a dream come true. The Inn, service, and beautiful grounds will not disappoint. The inn is so charming. This is a top-notch 5+ star facility and Sooney (owner) is a fantastic cook. We had terrific daily brunches from sour cream pancakes with their own homemade syrup. Homemade yogurt parfaits to Bananas Foster French Toast to homemade vegetable quiche right out of the garden to a magnificent four-cheese quiche. An out-of-this-world fabulous charcuterie board from dark chocolates to fresh fruits, homemade dips and homemade breads/crackers to the meats, and homemade preserves, so many options to choose from. The best presentation I have ever seen nationally. Then the best homemade Lasagna, like grandma would make. Homemade brownies and cakes to die for.The owners- Mike and Sooney, had the best southern charm and hospitality at its most pleasing the Michigander way. All was wonderful—every last-minute request was taken care of with promptness, courtesy, and with ease.Thank you for making beautiful memories for us all...Our son’s college graduation events could not have been any better! You guys rocked it. The memories we are leaving with will last us a lifetime and more.We so appreciate Llama's experience, Mike. The llamas were the icing on the cake 😀🙌. The kids so enjoyed it as well. The hot tub was a bonus helping us to relax after a busy day.We are leaving blessed and honored to have met you guys.-Melissa
Theresa Wilson: Soonie was wonderful...she thought of everything. We were the only ones staying at the Inn our weekend, but it was just the solitude we needed and to go at our own pace 💜 The refrigerator was stocked with yogurt, juice, fresh fruit, homemade spinach quiche, a vegetable tray and homemade bread with homemade apricot jam. We definitely ate very well💜💜💜 We saw the Lamas but didn't meet them, we will meet them next time😊 We did meet a sweet gray well fed and loved barn cat that met us at our car coming and going😊💜 Which was perfect because we have a cat and dog we were missing a little 😉 This is a beautiful bed and breakfast and so peaceful...it is close to home, but makes you feel like you are in a beautiful hideaway far from home💜 This would be worth going to this beautiful Inn and you will fall in with it also...as we did💜 We will be back...hopefully sooner than later 😊💜💜
Coyote Creek Stables: Great place to stay. Real quiet. Owners are the greatest. Great place for a wedding.
Paula Rivard: The hospitality was outstanding, accommodations were wonderful and breakfasts were delicious. We were there for a family weekend and the grounds were enjoyed by the kids and adults alike. Close to MSU. We will return.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gonzo the Guitar Guy: I actually went there to buy a used guitar from the owners son. During the purchase I got a look inside and talked to the property owner and found the place fabulously decorated and very friendly people there.
Coach Vick: I am truly enjoyed my time rooms are always in very well kept the hot tub worked flawlessly and the innkeepers or some of my favorite people caring your quietRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Kay Cee: Pretty place
Emily Brumwell: I shot a small wedding at the Inn and it was a super great location for a tiny, family wedding! The owner was exceedingly kind and the entire experience was comfortable and relaxed. The grounds and the building were both stunning and I'm sure it would be an amazing place to get away for a bit.
Xavier Brumwell: I was here for an elopement. There were plenty of rooms, and everywhere that I explored was clean. The host was very kind and personable.
Jessica Hendershot: We had so much fun at a wedding here yesterday! I've never been to a wedding before where I got to pet a Llama, haha. The venue was absolutely beautiful, and there was no end of lovely places to take photos. The owner was so nice! She let my 6 year old pet the 2 week old kittens they have there. I definitely recommend. It was such a unique and lovely wedding!

holly lehigh: I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! Beyond Excellent! My 12 year old loved the climbing tree and a visit with Sterling, their mini horse. My 15 year old loved the fireflies, finding wild turkey feathers, seeing the herons and exploring the forest and fields. My husband and I enjoyed walking the grounds, especially around their orchard and fields. Also the evening we spent on their front porch was clam, quiet and cozy. Their barn tour was a delight for our entire family. Very comfortable stay and exceptional hosts! Our hosts were kind and hospitable. They took the extra care to get to know us and how they could make our time spent with them the best it could be. They went above and beyond multiple times, which made our stay even more of a delight. We wished we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend for couples or small families. A true highlight of our trip through Michigan.
Kevin Siegrist: Not even the coldest temperatures of January were able to dispel the warmth of this beautiful family farm. My wife, Jill, and I truly enjoyed the timeless charm of this wonderful farmhouse and barn as shown to us through the eyes and hearts of our hosts, who like their parents, grandparents and great grandparents, have had this land and its storied past twined through their lives and souls. Well worth the visit for any that love comfort, good food and good people.Thank you, Kay and Keith, for your hospitality, and for sharing a bit of the past with us.
Vicki White: Great place to stay. Very clean rooms, great views, nice big front porch. Nice variety of breakfast meals and you get some wonderful stories about the history of the residence and the area. Close to Lansing and MSU. Highly recommend this B&B.
Lori Hudson: Just completed another lovely stay at the Legend Inn (a place to which I have returned multiple times). Wonderful hospitality, quiet setting, beautiful country landscape, but close to Lansing amenities if you so desire. This one's a winner.
Sara Miller: Overall, a great experience. Beautiful old farmhouse, pretty trails and a quiet little town. Kay was very accommodating. My only problem was I booked the room over the phone and I was quoted price + tax for the stay, which I had budgeted, only to be charged about $30 more than what was said. 😒 Not a huge deal, but not good practice either. I would suggest having them send you a email invoice when you book the room to rule out any future discrepancies in pricing. I run a small biz as well and would never quote the wrong price. You guys need to update your prices on your website!
Nancy Miller: A quiet setting with walking trails. Comfortable accommodations. If you want a great B&B experience I highly recommend it.
Extra Account: I WILL NOT GO THERE
Dan Mack: Couldn't ask for a better experiance.
Denise Abbey: Quaint and elegant
Jean Pilutti: A beautifully appointed historically preserved farm home awaits those who wish peace and quiet. The Legend Inn has been lovingly restored by a wonderful family who have put so much effort into making you feel at home. A warm welcome, comfortable accommodation, a great breakfast all combine to make this a home away from home.

Cozy Koi Bed & Breakfast: what do users think?
Frank Smith: All was clean and our room (the French Room) was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was ample, healthy, and tasty. Diane was friendly, helpful and interesting. We could not have asked for a better experience.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Darcy Guello: My son and I stayed here for attending a convention at the Lansing Center, and it was better than I could have hoped for. The home was decorated like a cozy museum with delightful displays that were hard to walk past without studying them. Our beds were very comfortable and we had a nice big bathroom to ourselves. She cooked a wonderful breakfast and made sure it fit our food requirements (vegetarian and keto - not easy to do). The Lansing Center was within walking distance so we didn't have to pay parking fees either. And Diane and her adorable dog (Teddy Bear) were so warm and welcoming. I just loved staying here and plan to come back with my husband for a date night. The picture is of the table set for breakfast.
Carolyn Suttles: One of the best, most authentic bed and breakfast stays you’ll find anywhere. Diane is a wonderful host and a community gem in Lansing. Very fair prices, delicious breakfast; an oasis in the city. A 15 minute walk downtown or to Olde Town, in a very cute, walkable neighborhood surrounded by lovely old homes. A little quirky, but charming, and the cutest schnauzer ever, Teddy!
Dohm Marie: My friends and I stayed here when we came into town for an MSU vs UofM football game. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! Diane and the other guests were all friendly and breakfast was plentiful and filling and tasty! The rooms had unique decorations so you definitely felt the care she took to style each room differently. I’d highly recommend this place to others!
Mary Cicala: Though we arrived several hours early the host met us and was happy to have us there. She gave us a very nice tour of the bed and breakfast and offered many great suggestions for dining, walking and other guided tours. In the morning she had a fabulous savory breakfast waiting for us and shared a lot of the history of the 2 homes on the property. With the 2 homes, there are plenty of guest rooms many of them with ensuite bathrooms. We would definitely stop in again when we're in the Lansing area. We highly recommend the Cozy Koi. It even has a koi pond in a garden setting!!
Haimen Aziz: The location is good, the place is nice from the outside, looks nice from inside too but when stay the night found out that the mattresses are old and all the bed and linens smell bad. The lady who runs the place, Dian, is not there most of the time, and not so nice, when we asked her to replace the mattresse or the room, she says that what they have and you can leave if you don't like it. If you stay for the night, you will pay about $100 with breakfast, which is expensive, and you can stay for less than that in 3 stars hotel.
connolly jenkins: Beautiful place. Beautiful host
Alejandro Whitford: Super helpful to us, friendly, knows everything about the area and we're to buy a good home. Only place in town to stay away from home.
Matt Prangley: Awesome location a short drive from Old Town, and an awesome price.
Thomas Bauer: Thanks Diane!
Kate Fogle: A unique bed and breakfast experience close to all the good things Lansing has to offer. Diane, the innkeeper, is genuinely kind and super interesting, with incredible stories to share. She makes sure you're cozy in your room and then attends to you each morning with a homemade breakfast and great conversation. We slept well, eat well, and felt like we'd made a friend by the end of our stay. In the age of ubiquitous hotels, the Cozy Koi is a gem. We'll be staying here again the next time we find ourselves in Lansing!
Goyce Redmond: Owner is rude she honestly need a half a star. Also she needs to upgrade her sign
Mike Davis: Friendly, warm place, though a bit pricey.
VeraAnn Hunt: My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Koi bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was large and home cooked. We would recommend this place to anyone that is going to Lansing for a visit.Dr. and Mrs. Hunt.
Jo Murphy: Diane, the owner, was very gracious and helpful upon arrival. We settled into our beautiful and comfortable room and then she helped get us directions to navigate town. The home was clean and comfortable, and the room was immaculate. The sheets were clean and very soft, and we had our own bathroom with all toiletries provided. Breakfast in the morning was superb. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Lansing.
